As CEO of 7thonline, Max Ma is responsible for leading the company's overall operations, including the growth strategy, solutions roadmap, and global expansion. Ma has over two decades of management experience at companies such as HBO and Pantone, where he was the lead developer. He has successfully driven numerous large-scale IT projects and overseen the development of apparel design automation CAD systems.

When Ma started working in retail as a software engineer, he realized that the industry needed more effective ways to boost inventory productivity. Max Ma founded 7thonline in 1999 to streamline retail and wholesale planning to be more efficient, empowering retail businesses with unmatched demand visibility, advanced analytics, and actionable insights. As both a data scientist and experienced retail tech executive, he is passionate about merging cutting-edge technology with proven business practices. For over 25 years, his team has been empowering retail professionals with a comprehensive suite of solutions utilizing AI/ML and BI capabilities.

Mr. Ma holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic University, where he served as a Board member of the Center for Technology in Supply Chain and Merchandising. Ma was also a member of the Board of Trustees for the Yale-China Association, a nonprofit organization.
