- Description: The DayCloud Studios founder on the firing that started it, the six-year experiment that almost derailed it, and why the company got better as it got smaller.

# Nobody told Liz she was running an agency

Four months after she got fired, Liz Hunt had two employees and no idea what she was. She had them bill her for their hours. She billed the client. A friend looked at the arrangement and named it for her. "Nobody told Liz, but she's running an agency now."

That was 13 years ago. The agency is [DayCloud Studios](https://www.daycloudstudios.com/about?ref=ceo.com), and the story of how it got here is mostly about what Hunt cut.

The firing came first. She was 26, working at a young design shop in Omaha she describes as her dream job, and she did not get along with new management. "There were things on both ends," she told the CEO.com Podcast. "I will own my part in that." She freelanced to stay afloat. Within three days she had two clients, both mid-rebrand, both needing someone now. One was the largest local accounting firm in town. The other was a university she had already worked with through previous agencies. The accounting firm came from a 30-second business card exchange at a community event. "They needed a young buck who was ready to hustle."

Hunt is candid that none of this was a plan. "Honestly, it's just a good, old-fashioned hustle and good luck."

The plan came later, and it was the wrong one. Hunt's background, as she puts it, is all art. A few years into DayCloud, she decided the way to build a real business was recurring revenue, and the way to get recurring revenue was marketing. So she hired marketing people and turned a design studio into a full-service advertising agency.

"Truthfully, it was a six-year experiment," she said, "and I realized that I actually did not like it at all."

About two years ago, she shut it down. DayCloud now does three things: brands, creative campaigns, and websites. The team got smaller in the process, though Hunt says she did not shrink it. People saw the refocus, went looking for other jobs, and found them. She never backfilled. She uses more contractors than she ever has. And by her own account, the business is doing better than it did with twice the headcount.

"I think I'm just running it smarter."

That is roughly how she describes surviving 2024, too. Not with a strategy, exactly, but with enough cycles behind her that a bad year registers as weather. "At some point, you have to figure out how to ride the ups and downs, and you have to rise above the highs and the lows."

DayCloud sits at 144 South 39th Street in Omaha's [Blackstone District](https://www.blackstonedistrict.com/?ref=ceo.com), a six-block stretch of Farnam Street in midtown that its business association bills as a revitalized historic district. DayCloud counts Creighton University's business school as a [client of more than 11 years](https://www.daycloudstudios.com/?ref=ceo.com). One Creighton staffer, in a [testimonial](https://getflywheel.com/agency-partners-directory/daycloud-studios/?ref=ceo.com) for the agency, put it this way: DayCloud found Blackstone before the rest of Omaha knew it was the coolest spot in town.

Hunt is the agency's primary client contact and its chief creative, which means most of her day is talking. She reviews the copy and the design work. She walks clients through where a project is going. Each morning she records a batch of video for social media, which a coordinator and an intern schedule out two weeks in advance. She sorts her own content into categories and assigns each one a percentage. Branding gets about half. Her family gets about 10\. The agency runs the same system for clients.

She has been asked enough times about managing designers that she has an answer ready. It is parenting a teenager.

"They hate you, but they kind of love you, and you never really know what's going to show up on what day. It's like every once in a while there's this spark of, 'Oh. I think there's the glimmer of joy that I've been searching for this whole time,' but then 97 percent of the other time, it's like they are a little, mini, hedgehog porcupine, actually, who is like, 'Get away from me.'"

Her job, as she sees it, is to keep them taking risks and to stand between them and rude clients. She has since turned that answer into a book. *The Nine Types of Creatives & How to Manage Them* is [forthcoming from Hunt](https://www.lizhuntconsulting.com/?ref=ceo.com), who now consults and speaks on leading creative teams alongside running the agency.

On AI, she is unbothered. DayCloud uses it for social captions, brainstorming, and podcast outlines. "It's never the end result, but it helps us get to what we need to get to for the end result." Photography, she points out, did not end painting.

The harder subject is the one she was most eager to talk about. Hunt ran DayCloud alone for 11 years. Her husband also owns a business, and for most of that time he was the only person she could talk to about hers. "We would just come home, and it would just spiral into sometimes a dark place, and that's not good."

After her daughter was born, she went through postpartum depression and started medication. She noticed the client emails that used to wreck her for days stopped landing the same way, and she has stayed on it with her doctor's blessing. She talks about this without much ceremony. What she wants other founders to hear is the part about isolation.

"Entrepreneurs are some of the loneliest, most isolated people that are out there," she said. "It can feel very lonely and very isolating, but we all deal with it. And so, it's actually not a lonely place because so many of us go through it."

Two years ago, she brought on Chelsea Poppens as COO and partner. Poppens has an MBA and the administrative temperament Hunt does not. She is also, in Hunt's words, younger and less encumbered by baggage. Before any of that, Poppens was a second-round WNBA draft pick who played for the Seattle Storm and San Antonio Stars and in seven countries overseas, according to [the podcast's site](https://www.agency-rocket.com/about?ref=ceo.com). The two of them now host The Agency Rocket Show, a podcast about the chaos of running a creative business. Hunt's operating theory is that every company is perpetually on the verge of a breakdown. Creatives just do it with more pizzazz.

The CEO.com Podcast ends every conversation with the same question: who gave you a chance? Hunt named Ryan Long. Before the dream job and the firing, she was out of work with no design experience to point to. Long was a developer at his father's small business. He hired her anyway, as a junior designer, and taught her a little code on the side. He and his wife are still her closest friends.

"My friend Ryan always treated me with so much respect," she said. It is a small thing to say about someone. It is also the whole reason there is a DayCloud.

You've<00:00:34.797> got<00:00:34.959> an<00:00:35.057> incredibly<00:00:35.853> pink<00:00:36.584> microphone.

00:00:38.710 --> 00:00:40.898
I<00:00:39.290> got<00:00:39.466> it<00:00:39.611> specially<00:00:40.174> for<00:00:40.335> you,<00:00:40.576> Clint.

00:00:41.300 --> 00:00:43.327
Which<00:00:42.185> is<00:00:42.250> very<00:00:42.973> cool.

00:00:43.778 --> 00:00:44.276
Yeah.

00:00:44.984 --> 00:00:48.271
You<00:00:45.081> are<00:00:45.242> the<00:00:45.403> CEO<00:00:45.885> and<00:00:45.966> chief<00:00:46.207> creative<00:00:46.609> at<00:00:47.060> Day<00:00:47.173> Cloud<00:00:47.560> Studios.

00:00:48.771 --> 00:00:48.933
Yes.

00:00:49.191 --> 00:00:52.469
You<00:00:49.256> also<00:00:49.433> have<00:00:49.595> a<00:00:49.675> podcast,<00:00:50.160> which<00:00:50.321> I<00:00:50.402> want<00:00:50.547> to<00:00:50.628> talk<00:00:50.822> about,<00:00:50.967> but<00:00:51.129> tell<00:00:51.290> us<00:00:51.435> about<00:00:51.694> Day<00:00:51.920> Cloud<00:00:52.114> Studios.

00:00:53.112 --> 00:00:55.139
Yes,<00:00:53.739> I<00:00:53.916> would<00:00:54.061> love<00:00:54.222> to<00:00:54.318> talk<00:00:54.544> about<00:00:54.721> Day<00:00:54.817> Cloud.

00:00:55.203 --> 00:01:00.143
So<00:00:56.313> I<00:00:56.490> started<00:00:56.957> Day<00:00:57.198> Cloud,<00:00:57.922> I<00:00:58.083> believe<00:00:58.357> it's<00:00:58.501> been<00:00:58.727> actually<00:00:59.065> 13<00:00:59.612> years<00:01:00.030> now.

00:01:00.872 --> 00:01:08.376
It<00:01:01.016> started<00:01:01.578> out<00:01:02.059> as<00:01:02.460> just<00:01:02.941> me<00:01:04.223> in<00:01:04.624> my<00:01:05.602> little<00:01:06.324> craftsman-style<00:01:07.350> house,<00:01:07.992> actually.

00:01:09.034 --> 00:01:10.846
Actually,<00:01:09.290> I<00:01:09.354> might<00:01:09.515> have<00:01:09.611> been<00:01:09.755> in<00:01:09.787> my<00:01:09.932> apartment<00:01:10.349> at<00:01:10.477> the<00:01:10.573> time.

00:01:11.215 --> 00:01:11.792
I<00:01:11.279> can't<00:01:11.439> remember.

00:01:12.257 --> 00:01:17.661
But<00:01:12.658> yes,<00:01:13.283> it<00:01:13.379> was<00:01:14.261> just<00:01:14.582> a<00:01:14.726> little<00:01:14.999> solopreneur<00:01:16.346> for<00:01:17.051> a<00:01:17.131> little<00:01:17.388> while.

00:01:18.414 --> 00:01:21.942
And<00:01:18.655> it<00:01:18.751> actually<00:01:19.136> happened<00:01:19.472> because<00:01:20.098> I<00:01:20.194> was<00:01:20.418> fired<00:01:20.819> from<00:01:20.996> my<00:01:21.220> dream<00:01:21.557> job.

00:01:22.262 --> 00:01:27.618
I<00:01:22.359> was<00:01:22.583> working<00:01:22.984> for<00:01:23.080> this<00:01:23.385> really<00:01:23.706> cool,<00:01:24.123> like,<00:01:24.523> up-and-coming<00:01:26.207> design<00:01:27.073> agency.

00:01:28.260 --> 00:01:33.859
That<00:01:28.372> I<00:01:28.518> just<00:01:28.695> started<00:01:29.083> out<00:01:29.889> and<00:01:30.293> I<00:01:30.470> didn't<00:01:30.858> get<00:01:31.116> along<00:01:32.084> with<00:01:32.568> some<00:01:32.875> new<00:01:32.988> management.

00:01:34.005 --> 00:01:36.086
Um,<00:01:34.731> there<00:01:34.908> was<00:01:35.134> things<00:01:35.376> on<00:01:35.554> both<00:01:35.860> ends.

00:01:36.345 --> 00:01:38.024
I<00:01:36.506> will<00:01:36.829> own<00:01:37.087> my<00:01:37.394> part<00:01:37.652> in<00:01:37.797> that.

00:01:38.201 --> 00:01:38.994
I<00:01:38.218> was<00:01:38.444> very<00:01:38.783> young.

00:01:40.788 --> 00:01:45.492
And,<00:01:41.273> uh,<00:01:41.612> so<00:01:41.758> they<00:01:41.936> fired<00:01:42.178> me<00:01:42.647> and<00:01:42.889> I<00:01:43.051> was<00:01:43.148> like,<00:01:43.698> oh<00:01:43.795> no,<00:01:44.765> what<00:01:44.959> do<00:01:45.072> I<00:01:45.250> do?

00:01:46.688 --> 00:01:57.356
And,<00:01:47.092> uh,<00:01:47.270> so<00:01:47.400> then<00:01:47.529> I<00:01:47.593> started<00:01:47.836> freelancing<00:01:48.547> while<00:01:48.725> I<00:01:48.871> was<00:01:49.032> looking<00:01:49.436> for<00:01:50.164> jobs,<00:01:50.762> you<00:01:50.843> know,<00:01:51.376> and<00:01:51.473> then<00:01:51.619> I<00:01:51.796> ended<00:01:52.039> up<00:01:52.281> landing<00:01:52.702> a<00:01:52.766> couple<00:01:53.235> of<00:01:53.332> huge<00:01:53.752> accounts,<00:01:54.367> um,<00:01:55.110> while<00:01:55.353> I<00:01:55.417> was<00:01:55.595> freelancing,<00:01:56.226> literally<00:01:56.646> in<00:01:56.727> the<00:01:56.808> span<00:01:57.066> of<00:01:57.180> 3<00:01:57.303> days.

00:01:57.427 --> 00:02:10.753
One<00:01:57.533> was<00:01:57.604> the<00:01:57.639> largest<00:01:57.833> local<00:01:58.028> accounting<00:02:00.769> here<00:02:01.219> in<00:02:01.636> town,<00:02:02.262> and<00:02:02.423> then<00:02:02.519> the<00:02:02.664> other<00:02:02.840> one<00:02:03.145> was<00:02:03.707> a<00:02:03.883> university<00:02:04.606> here<00:02:04.863> in<00:02:05.007> town<00:02:05.328> that<00:02:05.472> was—<00:02:05.729> they<00:02:05.874> were<00:02:06.050> both<00:02:06.291> going<00:02:06.596> through<00:02:06.773> rebrands<00:02:07.880> and<00:02:08.041> they<00:02:08.362> both<00:02:08.859> were<00:02:09.180> like,<00:02:09.903> we<00:02:10.063> need<00:02:10.288> somebody.

00:02:11.010 --> 00:02:14.140
And<00:02:11.106> it<00:02:11.187> was<00:02:11.267> just<00:02:11.572> kind<00:02:11.732> of<00:02:11.829> like,<00:02:12.375> I<00:02:12.535> happened<00:02:12.856> to<00:02:12.936> be<00:02:13.033> the<00:02:13.193> right<00:02:13.434> place,<00:02:13.659> right<00:02:13.835> time.

00:02:14.253 --> 00:02:20.818
So<00:02:14.477> just,<00:02:14.943> you<00:02:15.039> know,<00:02:15.103> I've<00:02:15.264> talked<00:02:15.456> about<00:02:15.681> this<00:02:15.842> before<00:02:16.163> with<00:02:16.387> other<00:02:16.564> people,<00:02:16.885> but<00:02:17.190> honestly,<00:02:17.527> just<00:02:17.832> like<00:02:18.474> good<00:02:18.635> old-fashioned<00:02:19.212> hustle<00:02:19.678> and<00:02:19.854> good<00:02:20.079> luck,<00:02:20.416> you<00:02:20.561> know?

00:02:21.556 --> 00:02:24.638
So,<00:02:22.166> um,<00:02:22.904> yeah,<00:02:23.626> no,<00:02:23.851> that's<00:02:24.044> incredible.

00:02:25.055 --> 00:02:25.938
Yeah,<00:02:25.633> yeah.

00:02:26.034 --> 00:02:30.110
So<00:02:26.419> I<00:02:26.516> started<00:02:26.917> it<00:02:27.158> and<00:02:27.318> then,<00:02:27.864> um,<00:02:28.426> Things<00:02:28.747> ended<00:02:28.987> up<00:02:29.228> picking<00:02:29.549> up<00:02:29.645> pretty<00:02:29.886> quick.

00:02:30.431 --> 00:02:33.383
About<00:02:30.944> 4<00:02:31.169> months<00:02:31.490> into<00:02:31.730> it,<00:02:31.875> I<00:02:31.955> hired<00:02:32.212> my<00:02:32.372> first<00:02:32.613> 2<00:02:32.773> employees.

00:02:33.575 --> 00:02:35.597
So<00:02:34.041> it,<00:02:34.217> yeah,<00:02:34.554> it<00:02:34.602> kind<00:02:34.779> of<00:02:34.843> snowballed<00:02:35.244> from<00:02:35.420> there.

00:02:35.741 --> 00:02:46.746
And<00:02:36.046> I,<00:02:36.704> without<00:02:36.960> even<00:02:37.185> really<00:02:37.506> realizing<00:02:38.147> it,<00:02:38.308> I<00:02:38.452> had<00:02:38.613> kind<00:02:38.789> of<00:02:38.869> this<00:02:39.030> pivotal<00:02:39.431> moment<00:02:39.976> where<00:02:40.859> I<00:02:40.939> had<00:02:41.276> them<00:02:41.532> start<00:02:41.917> invoicing<00:02:42.479> me<00:02:42.960> and<00:02:43.185> I<00:02:43.425> invoice<00:02:43.762> the<00:02:43.907> client<00:02:44.484> for<00:02:44.628> the<00:02:44.789> hours<00:02:45.190> that<00:02:45.350> they<00:02:45.447> were<00:02:45.543> spending<00:02:46.072> on<00:02:46.152> the<00:02:46.249> project.

00:02:46.794 --> 00:02:53.339
And<00:02:46.955> I<00:02:47.372> had<00:02:47.596> a<00:02:47.677> friend<00:02:48.318> who<00:02:49.361> was<00:02:49.537> like,<00:02:49.778> okay,<00:02:50.035> so<00:02:50.981> nobody<00:02:51.318> tell<00:02:51.607> Liz,<00:02:51.944> but<00:02:52.024> she's<00:02:52.265> running<00:02:52.585> an<00:02:52.666> agency<00:02:53.163> now.

00:02:53.692 --> 00:02:57.690
And<00:02:54.013> it<00:02:54.109> was<00:02:54.302> like,<00:02:55.233> That<00:02:55.458> was<00:02:55.554> when<00:02:55.698> I<00:02:55.715> realized<00:02:56.261> I<00:02:56.357> was<00:02:56.517> like<00:02:56.678> running<00:02:56.999> a<00:02:57.079> real<00:02:57.304> business.

00:02:58.027 --> 00:03:00.500
So<00:02:58.139> it<00:02:58.188> was<00:02:58.348> like<00:02:58.589> kind<00:02:58.766> of<00:02:58.846> this<00:02:59.006> whole<00:02:59.312> accidental<00:03:00.291> thing.

00:03:00.677 --> 00:03:02.491
And<00:03:00.773> then<00:03:01.239> here<00:03:01.335> we<00:03:01.479> are<00:03:01.640> 13<00:03:02.042> years<00:03:02.298> later.

00:03:03.262 --> 00:03:04.900
That<00:03:04.065> is<00:03:04.386> incredible.

00:03:04.948 --> 00:03:06.971
What<00:03:05.173> a—<00:03:05.574> and<00:03:05.671> you're<00:03:05.976> in<00:03:06.072> Omaha,<00:03:06.634> right?

00:03:07.421 --> 00:03:07.550
Yes.

00:03:07.823 --> 00:03:08.658
Omaha,<00:03:08.079> Nebraska.

00:03:08.802 --> 00:03:09.123
Mm-hmm.

00:03:09.187 --> 00:03:09.300
Yeah.

00:03:09.685 --> 00:03:10.215
Incredible.

00:03:10.263 --> 00:03:12.142
That,<00:03:10.633> that's<00:03:10.890> a<00:03:11.034> great,<00:03:11.516> great<00:03:11.837> place.

00:03:12.335 --> 00:03:12.656
Yeah.

00:03:12.897 --> 00:03:17.522
Um,<00:03:13.443> tell,<00:03:13.780> tell<00:03:14.085> us,<00:03:14.487> uh,<00:03:15.081> how<00:03:15.290> did<00:03:15.450> you<00:03:15.627> get<00:03:15.868> those<00:03:16.414> first<00:03:16.735> 2<00:03:16.992> clients?

00:03:17.859 --> 00:03:19.401
That<00:03:17.955> seems<00:03:18.196> like<00:03:18.357> that<00:03:18.437> would<00:03:18.598> be<00:03:18.678> very<00:03:18.919> difficult.

00:03:19.625 --> 00:03:20.284
Yeah.

00:03:20.669 --> 00:03:23.785
You<00:03:20.782> know,<00:03:21.633> again,<00:03:22.452> a<00:03:22.596> lot<00:03:22.837> of<00:03:23.014> good<00:03:23.255> fortune.

00:03:23.913 --> 00:03:41.132
So,<00:03:24.604> um,<00:03:25.326> The<00:03:25.422> first<00:03:25.903> one<00:03:26.448> was<00:03:26.929> I<00:03:27.025> happened<00:03:27.490> to<00:03:28.388> meet<00:03:28.965> somebody,<00:03:29.814> and<00:03:30.071> I'm<00:03:30.231> not<00:03:30.455> kidding,<00:03:31.257> it<00:03:31.337> was<00:03:31.497> like<00:03:31.994> a<00:03:32.155> 30-second<00:03:33.277> hand<00:03:33.597> him<00:03:34.239> my<00:03:34.415> business<00:03:34.719> card,<00:03:35.040> he<00:03:35.200> handed<00:03:35.537> me<00:03:35.745> his,<00:03:36.467> at<00:03:36.547> a<00:03:36.707> random<00:03:37.284> like<00:03:37.765> community<00:03:38.406> event<00:03:39.432> that<00:03:39.593> we<00:03:39.689> just<00:03:39.865> happened<00:03:40.234> to<00:03:40.587> see<00:03:40.731> each<00:03:40.971> other.

00:03:41.516 --> 00:03:51.744
And,<00:03:42.157> um,<00:03:43.119> I<00:03:43.215> think<00:03:43.456> somehow<00:03:44.017> he<00:03:44.899> remembered<00:03:45.524> that<00:03:45.700> I<00:03:45.844> was<00:03:46.181> freelancing<00:03:47.047> and<00:03:47.864> they<00:03:48.025> needed<00:03:48.586> a<00:03:49.211> young<00:03:49.692> buck<00:03:50.092> who<00:03:50.349> was<00:03:50.589> like<00:03:50.894> ready<00:03:51.150> to<00:03:51.295> hustle.

00:03:51.856 --> 00:03:53.202
And<00:03:52.016> I<00:03:52.032> was<00:03:52.192> 26<00:03:52.753> at<00:03:52.834> the<00:03:52.914> time.

00:03:53.298 --> 00:03:59.517
So,<00:03:53.859> um,<00:03:54.421> yeah,<00:03:54.757> so<00:03:55.783> it<00:03:55.879> was<00:03:56.104> just<00:03:56.280> like<00:03:56.521> they<00:03:56.825> just<00:03:57.050> happened<00:03:57.274> to<00:03:57.402> think<00:03:57.578> of<00:03:57.722> me<00:03:58.507> and<00:03:58.668> I<00:03:58.828> was<00:03:59.004> available.

00:04:00.190 --> 00:04:04.099
And,<00:04:00.670> um,<00:04:01.071> and<00:04:01.167> then<00:04:01.327> the<00:04:01.551> other<00:04:01.808> one<00:04:02.513> was<00:04:03.250> the<00:04:03.490> university.

00:04:04.756 --> 00:04:13.599
I<00:04:04.932> had<00:04:05.156> been<00:04:05.332> working<00:04:05.653> with<00:04:05.813> them<00:04:06.294> actually<00:04:06.838> already<00:04:07.960> with<00:04:08.136> some<00:04:08.440> of<00:04:08.537> my<00:04:08.921> past,<00:04:09.722> um,<00:04:10.059> agency,<00:04:10.763> and,<00:04:11.164> uh,<00:04:11.580> they<00:04:12.622> desired<00:04:13.086> to<00:04:13.167> hire<00:04:13.407> me.

00:04:14.128 --> 00:04:15.730
Okay,<00:04:14.384> very<00:04:14.945> cool.

00:04:16.130 --> 00:04:17.508
Yeah,<00:04:16.371> yeah,<00:04:16.867> that's<00:04:17.172> awesome.

00:04:17.813 --> 00:04:21.401
Um,<00:04:18.534> so<00:04:18.790> tell<00:04:19.030> us<00:04:19.255> what<00:04:19.655> exactly<00:04:20.392> Day<00:04:20.616> Cloud<00:04:20.857> Studios<00:04:21.209> does.

00:04:21.497 --> 00:04:27.409
I<00:04:21.513> know<00:04:21.674> it's<00:04:21.834> an<00:04:22.058> agency,<00:04:23.116> but<00:04:23.356> there's<00:04:23.580> a<00:04:23.676> lot<00:04:23.917> of<00:04:23.997> different<00:04:24.253> definitions<00:04:24.878> for<00:04:25.022> an<00:04:25.118> agency,<00:04:25.855> so<00:04:26.063> tell<00:04:26.320> us<00:04:26.464> what<00:04:26.624> you<00:04:26.720> guys<00:04:26.961> focus<00:04:27.281> on.

00:04:27.842 --> 00:04:30.701
Yeah,<00:04:28.308> so<00:04:28.629> that's<00:04:28.806> kind<00:04:28.983> of<00:04:29.063> an<00:04:29.207> interesting<00:04:29.673> question<00:04:30.316> actually.

00:04:30.878 --> 00:04:38.731
And<00:04:31.392> it's,<00:04:32.163> um,<00:04:32.725> for<00:04:32.901> a<00:04:33.046> long<00:04:33.287> time<00:04:33.624> we<00:04:33.785> focused<00:04:34.170> on<00:04:34.331> just<00:04:34.652> graphic<00:04:35.005> design<00:04:36.033> and<00:04:36.194> then<00:04:36.419> we<00:04:36.595> really<00:04:36.917> moved<00:04:37.302> into<00:04:37.543> the<00:04:37.704> advertising<00:04:38.362> space.

00:04:38.828 --> 00:04:49.894
I<00:04:39.069> added<00:04:39.310> a<00:04:39.326> lot<00:04:39.711> more<00:04:40.209> like<00:04:40.450> marketing<00:04:40.868> services<00:04:41.638> to<00:04:42.120> our<00:04:42.538> repertoire<00:04:43.405> and<00:04:43.967> I<00:04:44.064> brought<00:04:44.385> in<00:04:44.706> marketing<00:04:45.188> people<00:04:45.975> and,<00:04:47.019> um,<00:04:47.276> knowing<00:04:47.597> full<00:04:47.918> well<00:04:48.239> that<00:04:48.545> it's<00:04:48.721> not<00:04:48.962> really<00:04:49.203> my<00:04:49.444> background.

00:04:49.942 --> 00:04:52.704
My<00:04:50.167> background<00:04:50.584> is<00:04:50.873> in<00:04:51.195> fine<00:04:51.628> art<00:04:52.078> and<00:04:52.239> design.

00:04:53.042 --> 00:04:59.987
Um,<00:04:53.218> but<00:04:53.363> I<00:04:53.459> really<00:04:53.700> wanted<00:04:53.941> to<00:04:54.086> expand<00:04:54.648> and<00:04:54.808> learn<00:04:54.985> about<00:04:55.290> how<00:04:55.547> can<00:04:55.852> I<00:04:56.173> create<00:04:56.897> recurring<00:04:57.399> revenue<00:04:57.868> for<00:04:58.030> the<00:04:58.127> business<00:04:58.757> and<00:04:58.919> all<00:04:59.016> kinds<00:04:59.259> of<00:04:59.291> stuff<00:04:59.518> like<00:04:59.728> that.

00:05:01.184 --> 00:05:10.088
And<00:05:01.847> truthfully,<00:05:02.558> it<00:05:02.801> was<00:05:03.286> a<00:05:04.272> 6-year<00:05:06.286> experiment,<00:05:07.398> and<00:05:07.881> I<00:05:08.123> realized<00:05:08.461> that<00:05:08.606> I<00:05:08.622> actually<00:05:09.170> did<00:05:09.331> not<00:05:09.508> like<00:05:09.686> it<00:05:09.815> at<00:05:09.976> all.

00:05:11.683 --> 00:05:12.553
I<00:05:11.828> learned<00:05:12.070> a<00:05:12.086> lot.

00:05:14.292 --> 00:05:20.468
So,<00:05:14.405> so<00:05:14.840> about<00:05:15.501> 2<00:05:15.808> years<00:05:16.066> ago,<00:05:17.098> I<00:05:17.194> decided<00:05:17.743> that<00:05:18.065> we're<00:05:18.242> going<00:05:18.339> to<00:05:18.791> shut<00:05:19.049> down<00:05:19.371> that<00:05:19.613> part<00:05:19.936> of<00:05:20.032> the<00:05:20.161> business.

00:05:20.581 --> 00:05:36.366
So<00:05:20.758> now<00:05:21.564> officially,<00:05:22.516> We<00:05:22.852> are<00:05:23.317> an<00:05:25.081> interdisciplinary<00:05:26.539> branding<00:05:27.245> agency,<00:05:28.158> so<00:05:28.848> we<00:05:29.425> build<00:05:29.890> creative<00:05:30.371> campaigns,<00:05:31.332> we<00:05:31.990> focus<00:05:32.455> on<00:05:32.631> branding<00:05:33.176> for<00:05:33.336> clients,<00:05:34.058> and<00:05:34.939> we<00:05:35.099> build<00:05:35.276> websites<00:05:35.837> for<00:05:35.981> clients.

00:05:36.414 --> 00:05:45.471
So<00:05:36.783> any<00:05:37.135> sort<00:05:37.440> of<00:05:37.504> thing<00:05:37.921> that<00:05:38.145> kind<00:05:38.386> of<00:05:39.139> is<00:05:39.364> part<00:05:39.764> of<00:05:40.069> what<00:05:40.470> the<00:05:40.646> brand<00:05:41.191> and<00:05:41.704> its<00:05:41.864> expression<00:05:42.794> could<00:05:43.050> potentially<00:05:43.692> be,<00:05:44.493> that<00:05:44.653> is<00:05:44.814> what<00:05:44.974> we<00:05:45.134> build.

00:05:45.599 --> 00:05:49.671
So<00:05:46.641> that's<00:05:46.962> super<00:05:47.298> interesting<00:05:47.843> and<00:05:48.244> I'm<00:05:48.565> sure<00:05:48.805> a<00:05:48.821> lot<00:05:48.998> of<00:05:49.142> fun,<00:05:49.543> right?

00:05:49.735 --> 00:05:50.360
Because<00:05:49.943> you're<00:05:50.168> working.

00:05:50.488 --> 00:05:51.001
Oh<00:05:50.649> yeah.

00:05:51.066 --> 00:05:53.727
You're<00:05:51.210> kind<00:05:51.450> of<00:05:52.572> launching<00:05:52.989> something<00:05:53.630> or.

00:05:54.015 --> 00:05:54.095
Yeah.

00:05:54.752 --> 00:05:56.291
Company<00:05:55.233> or<00:05:55.314> a<00:05:55.394> campaign<00:05:55.971> of<00:05:56.051> some<00:05:56.163> sort.

00:05:56.420 --> 00:05:57.045
Oh,<00:05:56.516> I<00:05:56.660> love<00:05:56.901> it.

00:05:57.301 --> 00:05:57.798
Yeah.

00:05:58.023 --> 00:06:01.213
How<00:05:58.263> does,<00:05:58.744> um,<00:05:59.545> how<00:05:59.706> does<00:05:59.946> AI<00:06:00.299> affect<00:06:00.668> your<00:06:00.780> industry?

00:06:01.469 --> 00:06:12.610
Yes,<00:06:02.431> you<00:06:02.527> know,<00:06:03.152> I<00:06:03.473> decided<00:06:03.986> early<00:06:04.355> on,<00:06:04.691> and,<00:06:05.076> and<00:06:05.172> this<00:06:05.477> is,<00:06:05.733> this<00:06:05.974> is<00:06:06.038> just<00:06:06.278> who<00:06:06.438> I<00:06:06.679> am,<00:06:07.080> I<00:06:07.240> decided<00:06:07.737> early<00:06:08.057> on<00:06:08.362> that<00:06:08.603> AI<00:06:08.923> was<00:06:09.099> going<00:06:09.212> to<00:06:09.324> be<00:06:09.436> a<00:06:09.564> tool,<00:06:10.302> not<00:06:10.542> something<00:06:11.167> to<00:06:11.440> fear,<00:06:12.305> right?

00:06:12.706 --> 00:06:15.255
It's<00:06:12.851> just<00:06:13.011> kind<00:06:13.203> of<00:06:13.331> an<00:06:13.572> old,<00:06:14.053> you<00:06:14.133> know,<00:06:14.309> Jedi<00:06:14.630> mind<00:06:14.934> trick.

00:06:16.473 --> 00:06:21.603
You<00:06:16.634> don't<00:06:16.874> let<00:06:17.179> things<00:06:17.531> like<00:06:17.756> threaten<00:06:18.237> you,<00:06:18.621> you<00:06:18.718> just<00:06:18.958> see<00:06:19.279> them<00:06:19.663> as<00:06:20.000> like<00:06:20.305> another<00:06:20.705> challenge,<00:06:21.282> right?

00:06:21.747 --> 00:06:29.168
So<00:06:22.004> in<00:06:22.148> the<00:06:22.244> same<00:06:22.645> way<00:06:23.046> that<00:06:23.607> photography<00:06:24.504> has<00:06:24.889> not<00:06:25.514> decided<00:06:26.140> that<00:06:26.636> no<00:06:26.877> one<00:06:27.037> ever<00:06:27.277> paints<00:06:27.838> ever<00:06:28.014> again,<00:06:28.879> right?

00:06:29.360 --> 00:06:31.539
Like,<00:06:29.680> it's<00:06:29.857> that<00:06:30.033> same<00:06:30.482> concept,<00:06:31.219> right?

00:06:31.763 --> 00:06:42.210
Um,<00:06:32.661> but<00:06:32.805> then<00:06:32.917> there's<00:06:33.125> also<00:06:33.382> the<00:06:33.542> joke<00:06:34.007> of<00:06:34.439> my<00:06:34.599> favorite<00:06:34.920> meme<00:06:35.288> of,<00:06:35.625> you<00:06:35.721> know,<00:06:36.330> if<00:06:36.570> clients<00:06:36.971> really<00:06:37.211> wanted<00:06:37.451> to<00:06:37.612> use<00:06:37.932> AI,<00:06:38.269> they<00:06:38.429> would<00:06:38.589> have<00:06:38.893> to<00:06:39.054> be<00:06:39.150> able<00:06:39.374> to<00:06:39.791> tell<00:06:39.967> you<00:06:40.175> exactly<00:06:40.592> what<00:06:40.752> they<00:06:40.976> wanted,<00:06:41.489> so<00:06:41.713> we're<00:06:41.810> safe.

00:06:43.556 --> 00:07:05.336
But,<00:06:45.623> but,<00:06:46.424> you<00:06:46.520> know,<00:06:47.305> my,<00:06:48.058> my<00:06:48.283> biggest<00:06:48.603> thing<00:06:48.843> is<00:06:49.068> actually<00:06:49.404> that<00:06:49.869> I<00:06:50.125> think<00:06:50.301> it's,<00:06:50.750> I<00:06:50.830> think<00:06:50.942> it's<00:06:51.151> great,<00:06:51.631> and<00:06:51.968> I<00:06:52.128> think<00:06:52.449> that<00:06:52.849> we<00:06:53.025> as<00:06:53.153> an<00:06:53.314> agency,<00:06:53.794> we<00:06:53.971> use<00:06:54.275> it<00:06:55.495> We<00:06:55.655> use<00:06:55.896> it<00:06:55.992> for<00:06:56.763> writing<00:06:57.100> social<00:06:57.421> media<00:06:57.806> captions<00:06:58.465> quite<00:06:58.722> a<00:06:58.786> bit<00:06:59.267> because<00:06:59.589> that's<00:06:59.845> stuff<00:07:00.311> that<00:07:00.536> is<00:07:00.632> like,<00:07:01.178> you<00:07:01.274> just<00:07:01.515> need<00:07:01.676> to<00:07:01.836> like—<00:07:02.398> that<00:07:02.559> sounds<00:07:02.944> terrible—<00:07:03.666> turn<00:07:03.923> and<00:07:04.068> burn,<00:07:04.549> you<00:07:04.630> know<00:07:04.790> what<00:07:04.870> I<00:07:05.031> mean?

00:07:06.636 --> 00:07:09.478
But<00:07:06.893> like,<00:07:07.134> it's<00:07:07.680> like<00:07:07.857> you<00:07:08.001> just<00:07:08.178> need<00:07:08.338> something<00:07:08.724> short<00:07:09.125> and<00:07:09.221> quick.

00:07:10.746 --> 00:07:23.221
We<00:07:10.891> use<00:07:11.132> it<00:07:11.228> for<00:07:12.336> helping<00:07:12.978> us<00:07:13.315> with<00:07:13.556> brainstorm<00:07:14.262> ideas,<00:07:15.338> brainstorming<00:07:15.948> ideas<00:07:16.590> for<00:07:17.248> telling<00:07:17.570> stories<00:07:18.436> or<00:07:18.774> just<00:07:19.255> coming<00:07:19.641> up<00:07:19.737> with<00:07:19.897> a<00:07:19.978> podcast<00:07:20.684> outline<00:07:21.407> or,<00:07:22.065> you<00:07:22.161> know,<00:07:22.306> different<00:07:22.627> things<00:07:22.851> like<00:07:23.028> that.

00:07:23.734 --> 00:07:32.334
And<00:07:24.216> It's—<00:07:24.617> I<00:07:24.777> will<00:07:24.874> say<00:07:25.114> that<00:07:25.259> it's<00:07:25.435> never<00:07:25.756> the<00:07:26.061> end<00:07:26.398> result,<00:07:27.120> but<00:07:27.986> it<00:07:28.307> helps<00:07:28.788> us<00:07:29.045> get<00:07:29.430> to<00:07:29.991> what<00:07:30.168> we<00:07:30.408> need<00:07:30.713> to<00:07:31.050> get<00:07:31.291> to<00:07:31.515> for<00:07:31.692> the<00:07:31.852> end<00:07:32.013> result.

00:07:32.510 --> 00:07:34.836
It's<00:07:32.719> more<00:07:32.879> of<00:07:32.975> a<00:07:33.040> jumping<00:07:33.441> off<00:07:33.681> point<00:07:34.098> at<00:07:34.323> this<00:07:34.580> point.

00:07:35.061 --> 00:07:38.205
Do<00:07:35.285> I<00:07:35.366> foresee<00:07:35.927> it<00:07:36.425> becoming<00:07:36.906> a<00:07:36.986> potential<00:07:37.548> end<00:07:37.692> result?

00:07:38.414 --> 00:07:39.312
I<00:07:38.510> think<00:07:38.671> it<00:07:38.815> can<00:07:39.072> be.

00:07:40.018 --> 00:07:42.328
I<00:07:40.034> mean,<00:07:40.259> I<00:07:40.355> think<00:07:40.580> that's<00:07:40.820> kind<00:07:40.981> of<00:07:41.029> the<00:07:41.157> goal,<00:07:41.574> actually.

00:07:43.243 --> 00:07:45.328
But<00:07:43.387> again,<00:07:44.125> I<00:07:44.269> don't<00:07:44.446> see<00:07:44.671> it<00:07:44.767> as<00:07:44.927> a<00:07:45.007> threat.

00:07:45.489 --> 00:07:47.013
I<00:07:45.585> see<00:07:45.874> it<00:07:46.114> as<00:07:46.515> a<00:07:46.676> tool.

00:07:47.237 --> 00:07:47.494
Yeah.

00:07:47.574 --> 00:07:47.815
Yeah.

00:07:47.959 --> 00:07:49.884
I<00:07:48.056> don't<00:07:48.392> know<00:07:48.761> how<00:07:48.874> it<00:07:49.082> replaces<00:07:49.724> people.

00:07:49.965 --> 00:07:53.911
I<00:07:50.045> think<00:07:50.221> that<00:07:50.446> fear<00:07:50.558> is<00:07:50.638> a<00:07:50.703> little<00:07:51.088> overblown,<00:07:51.745> but<00:07:51.906> it<00:07:52.002> certainly<00:07:52.708> is<00:07:52.788> an<00:07:52.868> incredible<00:07:53.494> tool.

00:07:54.376 --> 00:07:58.416
And<00:07:54.633> probably<00:07:55.146> makes<00:07:55.498> you<00:07:55.578> more<00:07:55.691> efficient<00:07:56.476> and<00:07:56.636> maybe<00:07:56.973> need<00:07:57.278> less<00:07:57.518> employees<00:07:58.159> as<00:07:58.304> well.

00:07:58.544 --> 00:08:01.974
But<00:07:58.720> like,<00:07:59.362> I<00:07:59.442> don't<00:07:59.586> know<00:07:59.762> that<00:07:59.907> it<00:08:00.067> completely<00:08:00.484> takes<00:08:00.804> over<00:08:00.965> the<00:08:01.125> whole<00:08:01.285> process.

00:08:02.327 --> 00:08:04.812
Tell<00:08:02.487> us<00:08:02.632> about<00:08:03.048> the<00:08:03.225> Agency<00:08:04.010> Rocket<00:08:04.571> Show.

00:08:05.148 --> 00:08:10.871
I<00:08:05.229> know<00:08:05.357> you've<00:08:05.517> got<00:08:05.693> your<00:08:06.014> third<00:08:06.367> season<00:08:07.056> coming<00:08:07.441> up<00:08:07.553> and<00:08:07.697> maybe<00:08:08.018> it's<00:08:08.114> our,<00:08:08.338> it<00:08:08.483> will<00:08:08.643> already<00:08:08.899> be<00:08:09.060> airing<00:08:09.380> when<00:08:09.541> we,<00:08:09.925> when<00:08:10.102> we<00:08:10.422> push<00:08:10.583> this<00:08:10.807> out.

00:08:10.919 --> 00:08:12.554
So<00:08:11.609> tell<00:08:11.865> us<00:08:11.945> about<00:08:12.426> it.

00:08:12.747 --> 00:08:13.131
Yeah.

00:08:13.773 --> 00:08:14.029
Okay.

00:08:14.109 --> 00:08:25.234
So<00:08:14.847> my<00:08:15.135> business<00:08:15.472> partner,<00:08:16.257> I<00:08:16.434> brought<00:08:16.754> her<00:08:17.139> on,<00:08:18.261> I<00:08:18.758> think<00:08:18.918> it's<00:08:19.079> been<00:08:19.175> about<00:08:19.415> 2<00:08:19.784> years<00:08:20.297> now<00:08:21.066> and<00:08:21.868> I<00:08:22.028> had<00:08:22.124> been<00:08:22.301> running<00:08:22.589> my<00:08:22.685> shop<00:08:23.070> for,<00:08:23.551> you<00:08:23.583> know,<00:08:23.791> on<00:08:23.824> my<00:08:24.112> own<00:08:24.465> this<00:08:24.673> whole<00:08:24.849> time.

00:08:25.475 --> 00:08:30.827
And<00:08:25.571> then<00:08:26.356> I<00:08:26.532> ended<00:08:26.773> up<00:08:26.917> finding<00:08:27.318> her<00:08:27.798> and<00:08:27.958> she<00:08:28.279> has<00:08:28.776> a<00:08:28.936> really<00:08:29.353> solid<00:08:29.897> business<00:08:30.282> background.

00:08:31.259 --> 00:08:33.038
She<00:08:31.500> has<00:08:31.724> her<00:08:31.900> MBA<00:08:32.461> and<00:08:32.605> all<00:08:32.685> this<00:08:32.782> stuff.

00:08:33.086 --> 00:08:36.050
And<00:08:33.326> as<00:08:33.487> I<00:08:33.519> mentioned<00:08:33.903> earlier,<00:08:34.544> my<00:08:34.704> background<00:08:35.121> is<00:08:35.329> all<00:08:35.730> art.

00:08:37.332 --> 00:08:40.890
And<00:08:37.509> so<00:08:37.765> it's<00:08:37.989> nice<00:08:38.406> to<00:08:38.550> have<00:08:38.791> someone<00:08:39.191> like<00:08:39.496> her<00:08:40.056> who<00:08:40.377> is<00:08:40.537> not.

00:08:42.220 --> 00:08:45.376
And<00:08:43.261> she's<00:08:43.838> very<00:08:44.463> administrative.

00:08:45.424 --> 00:08:46.129
She's<00:08:45.745> my<00:08:45.841> COO.

00:08:46.802 --> 00:08:49.687
And<00:08:46.963> so<00:08:47.684> it's<00:08:47.908> great<00:08:48.084> to<00:08:48.180> have<00:08:48.325> someone<00:08:48.709> like<00:08:48.885> her<00:08:49.110> on<00:08:49.206> the<00:08:49.286> team.

00:08:50.312 --> 00:09:00.621
But<00:08:50.728> she<00:08:51.273> also,<00:08:52.475> you<00:08:52.571> know,<00:08:53.036> works<00:08:53.437> in<00:08:53.517> a<00:08:53.597> creative<00:08:54.078> agency<00:08:54.960> and<00:08:55.056> she<00:08:55.297> gets<00:08:55.938> that<00:08:56.724> we<00:08:56.981> are<00:08:57.767> just<00:08:58.104> a<00:08:58.328> chaotic<00:08:59.387> group<00:08:59.932> of<00:09:00.269> people.

00:09:01.295 --> 00:09:15.552
And,<00:09:01.872> you<00:09:01.969> know,<00:09:02.033> I<00:09:02.193> think<00:09:02.498> as<00:09:02.658> I've,<00:09:03.219> as<00:09:03.380> I've<00:09:03.556> run<00:09:03.717> a<00:09:03.813> business<00:09:04.663> and<00:09:05.785> just<00:09:06.042> throughout<00:09:06.363> the<00:09:06.523> years,<00:09:06.908> I<00:09:07.004> think<00:09:07.229> I've<00:09:07.405> learned<00:09:07.806> that<00:09:08.191> every<00:09:08.528> business<00:09:09.105> is<00:09:09.250> kind<00:09:09.650> of<00:09:10.035> on<00:09:10.132> the<00:09:10.292> verge<00:09:10.933> of<00:09:11.094> massive<00:09:12.056> breakdown,<00:09:13.002> you<00:09:13.098> know,<00:09:13.259> like<00:09:13.820> it's<00:09:14.125> just<00:09:14.301> like<00:09:14.526> massive<00:09:14.943> disaster.

00:09:15.648 --> 00:09:17.108
I<00:09:15.681> think<00:09:15.969> every<00:09:16.226> business<00:09:16.627> is<00:09:16.771> like<00:09:16.947> that.

00:09:17.188 --> 00:09:18.519
So<00:09:17.348> I<00:09:17.429> think<00:09:17.605> it's<00:09:17.765> not<00:09:18.054> just<00:09:18.295> ours.

00:09:19.017 --> 00:09:20.124
And<00:09:19.177> not<00:09:19.354> just<00:09:19.578> creatives.

00:09:20.541 --> 00:09:23.093
I<00:09:20.621> think<00:09:20.782> we<00:09:20.878> just<00:09:21.039> do<00:09:21.199> it<00:09:21.344> with<00:09:21.504> a<00:09:21.536> little<00:09:21.777> more<00:09:21.938> style<00:09:22.483> and<00:09:22.724> pizzazz.

00:09:23.751 --> 00:09:28.855
But,<00:09:24.554> um,<00:09:25.292> what<00:09:25.597> we<00:09:25.773> realized<00:09:26.480> is<00:09:26.576> that<00:09:26.817> it's<00:09:27.041> fun<00:09:27.218> to<00:09:27.314> talk<00:09:27.619> about<00:09:28.020> and<00:09:28.117> it's<00:09:28.341> fun<00:09:28.502> to<00:09:28.582> share.

00:09:29.609 --> 00:09:37.056
And,<00:09:30.492> um,<00:09:31.054> as<00:09:31.391> female<00:09:32.017> entrepreneurs,<00:09:33.236> I<00:09:33.397> think<00:09:33.638> it's,<00:09:34.023> it's<00:09:34.199> nice<00:09:34.440> for<00:09:34.520> us<00:09:34.552> to<00:09:34.761> get<00:09:34.922> to<00:09:35.323> share<00:09:35.724> some<00:09:35.949> of<00:09:36.029> our<00:09:36.109> experiences.

00:09:37.169 --> 00:09:41.614
And<00:09:37.329> so<00:09:38.115> that's<00:09:38.340> what<00:09:38.453> we<00:09:38.613> did<00:09:38.998> in<00:09:39.159> our<00:09:39.255> podcast,<00:09:40.041> and<00:09:40.298> that's<00:09:40.539> what<00:09:40.844> we<00:09:41.165> talk<00:09:41.422> about.

00:09:41.727 --> 00:09:51.753
We<00:09:41.807> talk<00:09:41.983> about<00:09:42.224> the<00:09:42.304> chaos<00:09:42.850> of<00:09:43.011> running<00:09:43.412> a<00:09:43.428> creative<00:09:43.845> agency,<00:09:44.872> what<00:09:45.049> it's<00:09:45.273> like<00:09:46.220> managing<00:09:46.861> creatives,<00:09:47.599> because<00:09:48.305> let<00:09:48.465> me<00:09:48.642> tell<00:09:48.946> you,<00:09:50.149> it's<00:09:50.390> a<00:09:50.486> whole<00:09:51.064> nother<00:09:51.432> level.

00:09:52.732 --> 00:10:00.318
And,<00:09:53.518> and<00:09:54.416> it's<00:09:54.721> awesome<00:09:55.683> and<00:09:56.004> harrowing<00:09:56.806> and<00:09:57.528> deeply<00:09:57.929> disturbing<00:09:58.891> and<00:09:59.452> all<00:09:59.629> the<00:09:59.773> emotions.

00:10:00.607 --> 00:10:01.634
So<00:10:01.233> it's<00:10:01.457> great.

00:10:01.955 --> 00:10:03.655
That's<00:10:02.179> what<00:10:02.259> we<00:10:02.356> talk<00:10:02.580> about<00:10:02.821> on<00:10:02.917> our<00:10:03.061> podcast.

00:10:04.184 --> 00:10:04.601
I<00:10:04.264> love<00:10:04.505> it.

00:10:04.681 --> 00:10:07.296
Tell<00:10:04.922> me<00:10:05.227> what<00:10:05.403> it<00:10:05.628> is<00:10:05.868> like<00:10:06.205> to<00:10:06.382> manage<00:10:06.847> creatives.

00:10:07.649 --> 00:10:08.274
What<00:10:07.809> is<00:10:07.985> that?

00:10:08.370 --> 00:10:11.145
I<00:10:08.435> mean,<00:10:09.012> they<00:10:09.477> are<00:10:09.798> obviously<00:10:10.119> super<00:10:10.616> creative.

00:10:11.322 --> 00:10:11.739
Yeah.

00:10:12.942 --> 00:10:13.102
Yeah.

00:10:13.166 --> 00:10:14.192
What's<00:10:13.326> it<00:10:13.391> like<00:10:13.567> to<00:10:14.064> manage?

00:10:14.288 --> 00:10:14.513
Yes.

00:10:14.689 --> 00:10:15.266
You<00:10:14.801> know<00:10:15.010> what?

00:10:16.548 --> 00:10:17.526
I<00:10:16.693> have<00:10:16.789> some<00:10:17.013> friends.

00:10:17.847 --> 00:10:28.154
So<00:10:18.071> I<00:10:18.216> have<00:10:18.568> a<00:10:18.632> daughter<00:10:19.177> and<00:10:19.274> she's<00:10:19.626> 6,<00:10:19.979> but<00:10:20.139> I<00:10:20.219> have<00:10:20.332> some<00:10:20.556> friends<00:10:21.101> who<00:10:21.261> have<00:10:21.374> some<00:10:21.662> teenagers<00:10:22.480> and<00:10:22.784> I<00:10:23.121> would<00:10:23.425> akin<00:10:24.163> that<00:10:25.109> it's<00:10:26.231> like<00:10:26.808> parenting<00:10:27.449> a<00:10:27.593> teenager.

00:10:28.555 --> 00:10:31.457
They<00:10:28.715> hate<00:10:29.116> you,<00:10:29.597> but<00:10:29.709> they<00:10:29.853> kind<00:10:30.238> of<00:10:30.399> love<00:10:30.591> you,<00:10:31.120> you<00:10:31.232> know?

00:10:32.322 --> 00:10:35.769
And<00:10:32.482> you<00:10:32.579> never<00:10:32.899> really<00:10:33.220> know<00:10:33.621> what's<00:10:33.925> going<00:10:34.021> to<00:10:34.101> show<00:10:34.486> up<00:10:35.208> on<00:10:35.384> what<00:10:35.624> day.

00:10:36.266 --> 00:10:36.442
Right?

00:10:36.907 --> 00:10:49.269
It's<00:10:37.083> like<00:10:37.772> every<00:10:38.269> once<00:10:38.590> in<00:10:38.670> a<00:10:38.814> while,<00:10:39.632> there's<00:10:39.873> like<00:10:40.178> this<00:10:40.500> spark<00:10:41.222> of,<00:10:41.865> oh,<00:10:42.282> I<00:10:42.427> think,<00:10:43.166> I<00:10:43.246> think<00:10:43.792> there's<00:10:44.354> the,<00:10:44.692> there's<00:10:45.013> the<00:10:45.238> like<00:10:45.479> glimmer<00:10:45.880> of<00:10:46.041> joy<00:10:46.378> that<00:10:46.523> I've<00:10:46.699> been<00:10:47.004> like<00:10:47.438> searching<00:10:47.984> for<00:10:48.466> this<00:10:48.627> whole<00:10:48.884> time.

00:10:49.815 --> 00:11:00.191
But<00:10:49.976> then<00:10:50.217> like<00:10:50.715> 97%<00:10:52.240> of<00:10:52.658> the<00:10:52.802> other<00:10:53.043> time,<00:10:53.830> it's,<00:10:54.312> it's<00:10:54.489> like<00:10:54.955> they<00:10:55.196> are<00:10:55.918> a<00:10:56.015> little<00:10:56.256> mini<00:10:56.561> hedgehog,<00:10:57.219> porcupine<00:10:57.926> actually,<00:10:58.649> who<00:10:58.906> is<00:10:59.050> like,<00:10:59.211> get<00:10:59.307> away<00:10:59.532> from<00:10:59.629> me,<00:11:00.014> you<00:11:00.094> know?

00:11:00.335 --> 00:11:06.021
And<00:11:00.432> so<00:11:00.897> you<00:11:00.994> just<00:11:01.154> have<00:11:01.315> to<00:11:01.395> be<00:11:01.540> very<00:11:01.861> open-handed<00:11:02.825> and<00:11:03.146> you<00:11:03.242> have<00:11:03.499> to<00:11:03.644> be<00:11:05.170> big<00:11:05.475> time.

00:11:06.776 --> 00:11:17.244
A<00:11:06.920> lot<00:11:07.161> of<00:11:07.258> what<00:11:07.482> I<00:11:07.659> do<00:11:08.061> is<00:11:08.526> is<00:11:08.686> kind<00:11:09.007> of—<00:11:09.488> this<00:11:09.664> sounds<00:11:09.984> terrible,<00:11:10.545> but<00:11:10.770> like<00:11:10.946> kind<00:11:11.250> of<00:11:11.411> like<00:11:12.132> therapy,<00:11:12.949> but<00:11:13.174> just<00:11:13.430> more<00:11:13.670> of<00:11:13.751> like<00:11:14.472> a<00:11:14.488> mentor,<00:11:15.337> coach,<00:11:16.539> encouragement.

00:11:17.292 --> 00:11:24.168
I'm<00:11:17.437> there<00:11:17.677> to<00:11:17.821> encourage<00:11:18.382> them<00:11:18.703> to<00:11:18.879> just<00:11:19.664> keep<00:11:19.841> trying,<00:11:20.401> taking<00:11:20.786> risks,<00:11:21.123> that<00:11:22.549> being<00:11:22.789> creative<00:11:23.206> and<00:11:23.350> failing<00:11:23.783> is<00:11:23.911> okay.

00:11:24.568 --> 00:11:26.091
Like<00:11:24.809> that's,<00:11:25.209> that's<00:11:25.434> part<00:11:25.610> of<00:11:25.690> our<00:11:25.834> job.

00:11:26.155 --> 00:11:30.786
That's<00:11:26.315> part<00:11:26.427> of<00:11:26.491> what<00:11:26.652> we<00:11:26.876> do,<00:11:27.758> you<00:11:27.854> know,<00:11:28.399> and,<00:11:29.601> and<00:11:29.921> you<00:11:30.001> just<00:11:30.161> got<00:11:30.242> to<00:11:30.338> keep<00:11:30.498> trying.

00:11:31.764 --> 00:11:38.607
And<00:11:33.527> also<00:11:33.928> a<00:11:34.008> part<00:11:34.200> of<00:11:34.328> what<00:11:34.489> I<00:11:34.649> do<00:11:35.210> is<00:11:35.658> protecting<00:11:36.332> them,<00:11:36.892> protecting<00:11:37.469> them<00:11:37.870> from<00:11:38.271> hate.

00:11:38.832 --> 00:11:43.255
You<00:11:38.928> know,<00:11:39.393> protecting<00:11:39.954> them<00:11:40.338> from,<00:11:40.915> you<00:11:41.012> know,<00:11:41.380> rude<00:11:41.701> clients<00:11:42.198> or<00:11:42.358> whatever<00:11:42.678> it<00:11:42.839> needs<00:11:43.079> to<00:11:43.175> be.

00:11:43.400 --> 00:11:45.531
So<00:11:43.800> there's,<00:11:44.265> there's<00:11:44.522> quite<00:11:44.698> a<00:11:44.762> few<00:11:44.922> different<00:11:45.243> things.

00:11:46.365 --> 00:11:49.859
It's<00:11:46.990> a<00:11:47.086> lot<00:11:47.327> like<00:11:47.631> parenting<00:11:48.128> a<00:11:48.144> teenager,<00:11:49.234> I<00:11:49.410> imagine.

00:11:51.253 --> 00:11:52.263
That's<00:11:51.879> awesome.

00:11:52.696 --> 00:11:54.363
What<00:11:52.792> does<00:11:52.952> a<00:11:53.017> typical<00:11:53.481> day<00:11:53.642> look<00:11:53.818> like<00:11:53.994> for<00:11:54.139> you?

00:11:54.603 --> 00:12:02.601
You<00:11:54.700> know,<00:11:55.244> um,<00:11:55.821> a<00:11:55.902> typical<00:11:56.302> day<00:11:56.543> can<00:11:56.783> be<00:11:57.264> anything<00:11:57.889> from—<00:11:58.931> I,<00:11:59.251> I,<00:11:59.588> like,<00:11:59.812> my<00:11:59.989> mornings<00:12:00.534> will<00:12:00.710> be<00:12:01.095> a<00:12:01.191> lot<00:12:01.367> of<00:12:01.511> like<00:12:01.736> recording<00:12:02.137> content.

00:12:02.649 --> 00:12:06.769
So<00:12:02.778> I'll<00:12:02.938> record<00:12:03.339> videos<00:12:04.316> that<00:12:04.461> we're<00:12:04.573> going<00:12:04.669> to<00:12:04.717> be<00:12:04.941> posting<00:12:05.743> in<00:12:05.839> the<00:12:05.935> next<00:12:06.224> week<00:12:06.400> or<00:12:06.544> two.

00:12:07.586 --> 00:12:08.933
Um,<00:12:08.324> that<00:12:08.420> kind<00:12:08.660> of<00:12:08.724> thing.

00:12:09.029 --> 00:12:13.998
I'll<00:12:09.125> meet<00:12:09.285> with<00:12:09.446> my<00:12:09.590> social<00:12:09.911> media<00:12:10.247> team<00:12:10.952> specifically<00:12:11.594> for<00:12:11.786> my,<00:12:12.796> my<00:12:13.052> content<00:12:13.549> stuff.

00:12:14.158 --> 00:12:23.280
And<00:12:14.319> then<00:12:15.216> the<00:12:15.361> rest<00:12:15.617> of<00:12:15.681> the<00:12:15.778> time<00:12:16.194> I'll<00:12:16.483> be<00:12:17.044> responding<00:12:17.461> to<00:12:17.685> emails,<00:12:18.326> or<00:12:19.368> I<00:12:19.529> will<00:12:19.785> be<00:12:20.330> reviewing<00:12:21.132> our,<00:12:21.933> our<00:12:22.574> creative,<00:12:23.216> you<00:12:23.248> know.

00:12:23.328 --> 00:12:34.180
I'll<00:12:23.552> be<00:12:23.712> reviewing<00:12:24.450> some<00:12:24.658> of<00:12:24.690> the<00:12:24.754> messaging<00:12:25.476> that<00:12:25.716> my<00:12:25.957> copywriters<00:12:26.662> have<00:12:26.774> written<00:12:27.079> for<00:12:27.223> our<00:12:27.319> websites,<00:12:28.105> or<00:12:28.297> I'll<00:12:28.586> be<00:12:28.762> reviewing<00:12:29.307> the<00:12:29.467> designs<00:12:30.044> that<00:12:30.173> our<00:12:30.285> designers<00:12:30.846> are<00:12:30.942> sending<00:12:31.327> me<00:12:31.503> for<00:12:32.369> brands<00:12:32.834> or<00:12:32.930> websites<00:12:33.475> or<00:12:33.571> whatever<00:12:33.892> it<00:12:34.052> is.

00:12:34.517 --> 00:12:37.226
Um,<00:12:34.934> and<00:12:35.014> then<00:12:35.639> I<00:12:35.799> will<00:12:35.959> also<00:12:36.216> be<00:12:36.376> meeting<00:12:36.617> with<00:12:36.777> clients.

00:12:37.643 --> 00:12:41.364
I<00:12:38.075> serve<00:12:38.540> as<00:12:38.701> kind<00:12:38.941> of<00:12:39.166> our<00:12:39.342> primary<00:12:40.369> client<00:12:40.770> communicator.

00:12:41.669 --> 00:12:45.938
And<00:12:41.765> so<00:12:42.295> I,<00:12:42.953> I<00:12:42.969> meet<00:12:43.194> with<00:12:43.338> clients,<00:12:44.076> I<00:12:44.157> talk<00:12:44.462> with<00:12:44.558> them<00:12:44.734> about<00:12:44.959> the<00:12:45.103> work<00:12:45.360> that<00:12:45.505> we<00:12:45.681> do.

00:12:46.628 --> 00:12:54.957
I<00:12:46.885> share<00:12:47.270> the<00:12:47.366> direction<00:12:48.233> on,<00:12:48.971> you<00:12:49.067> know,<00:12:49.212> this<00:12:49.388> is<00:12:49.533> where<00:12:49.693> we're<00:12:49.774> going,<00:12:50.159> this<00:12:50.335> is<00:12:50.480> what<00:12:50.576> we're<00:12:50.720> doing,<00:12:50.977> this<00:12:51.218> is<00:12:51.298> how<00:12:51.459> these<00:12:51.619> projects<00:12:52.085> work,<00:12:52.422> and<00:12:52.983> leading<00:12:53.384> them<00:12:53.609> through<00:12:53.786> the<00:12:53.930> projects<00:12:54.508> and<00:12:54.684> such.

00:12:55.214 --> 00:12:56.594
And<00:12:55.727> so<00:12:55.856> I<00:12:55.936> do<00:12:56.032> a<00:12:56.048> lot<00:12:56.289> of<00:12:56.353> that.

00:12:57.557 --> 00:13:01.248
Mostly<00:12:58.103> it's<00:12:58.359> just<00:12:58.841> talking<00:12:59.338> and<00:12:59.788> communicating<00:13:00.831> all<00:13:00.911> the<00:13:01.007> time.

00:13:01.714 --> 00:13:01.986
Yeah.

00:13:02.917 --> 00:13:03.832
I<00:13:02.949> mean,<00:13:03.174> tell<00:13:03.334> us<00:13:03.495> about<00:13:03.736> that.

00:13:03.896 --> 00:13:19.759
Like,<00:13:04.121> what<00:13:04.297> should<00:13:04.602> a<00:13:05.003> company<00:13:05.645> or<00:13:05.822> leader<00:13:06.624> or,<00:13:07.106> you<00:13:07.202> know,<00:13:07.347> startup<00:13:07.892> be<00:13:07.988> thinking<00:13:08.406> about<00:13:09.273> when<00:13:09.418> it<00:13:09.515> comes<00:13:09.756> to<00:13:09.853> social<00:13:10.175> media,<00:13:10.545> I<00:13:10.561> mean,<00:13:10.787> I<00:13:11.045> found<00:13:11.173> it<00:13:11.286> pretty<00:13:11.528> interesting<00:13:11.930> that<00:13:12.156> you<00:13:12.413> do<00:13:12.574> it<00:13:12.735> every<00:13:12.993> morning<00:13:14.168> and<00:13:14.249> you<00:13:14.329> probably<00:13:14.587> have<00:13:14.732> some<00:13:14.909> sort<00:13:15.135> of<00:13:15.167> schedule<00:13:16.439> where<00:13:16.680> it<00:13:16.761> all,<00:13:17.083> like,<00:13:17.486> what<00:13:17.647> you<00:13:17.727> record<00:13:18.049> that<00:13:18.210> morning<00:13:18.420> probably<00:13:18.629> doesn't<00:13:18.855> go<00:13:19.081> out<00:13:19.324> that<00:13:19.501> day.

00:13:19.986 --> 00:13:20.986
Like,<00:13:20.470> what<00:13:20.631> is<00:13:20.793> that?

00:13:21.261 --> 00:13:21.923
What<00:13:21.358> is<00:13:21.455> that<00:13:21.665> like?

00:13:21.987 --> 00:13:26.088
I<00:13:22.004> mean,<00:13:22.714> I<00:13:22.891> bet<00:13:23.134> a<00:13:23.198> lot<00:13:23.360> of<00:13:23.457> people,<00:13:24.118> including<00:13:24.506> myself,<00:13:25.216> have<00:13:25.313> never<00:13:25.539> done<00:13:25.636> that<00:13:25.765> before.

00:13:28.359 --> 00:13:41.718
It<00:13:28.763> is,<00:13:30.138> one,<00:13:30.639> it's<00:13:30.801> a<00:13:30.962> lot<00:13:31.189> more<00:13:31.431> work<00:13:31.755> than<00:13:31.933> you<00:13:32.175> ever<00:13:32.353> think<00:13:32.644> it<00:13:32.741> is<00:13:33.210> until<00:13:33.549> you<00:13:33.646> start<00:13:33.873> actually<00:13:34.196> doing<00:13:34.439> it<00:13:34.665> and<00:13:35.069> you're<00:13:36.056> like,<00:13:36.541> oh,<00:13:36.686> this<00:13:36.864> is<00:13:37.010> why<00:13:37.188> we<00:13:37.349> pay<00:13:37.593> people<00:13:38.361> to<00:13:38.528> do<00:13:38.579> this<00:13:38.629> because<00:13:38.729> it's<00:13:40.900> A<00:13:41.092> lot<00:13:41.333> of<00:13:41.397> work.

00:13:41.782 --> 00:13:43.403
It's<00:13:41.975> like<00:13:42.135> somebody's<00:13:42.616> full-time<00:13:43.114> job.

00:13:44.125 --> 00:13:53.608
Um,<00:13:44.381> so<00:13:44.927> I<00:13:45.168> have<00:13:45.890> a,<00:13:46.612> um,<00:13:46.804> social<00:13:47.254> media<00:13:48.056> intern<00:13:49.099> that<00:13:49.340> works<00:13:49.837> for<00:13:50.222> us,<00:13:50.543> and<00:13:50.639> then<00:13:50.736> I<00:13:50.944> also<00:13:51.121> have<00:13:51.281> a<00:13:51.345> marketing<00:13:52.003> coordinator<00:13:52.805> that<00:13:52.966> works<00:13:53.271> for<00:13:53.367> us.

00:13:53.768 --> 00:14:03.315
And,<00:13:54.314> um,<00:13:55.196> I<00:13:55.774> meet<00:13:56.015> with<00:13:56.175> them<00:13:56.961> every<00:13:57.298> week<00:13:57.780> and<00:13:57.940> we<00:13:58.101> make<00:13:58.405> a<00:13:58.502> plan<00:13:59.689> for<00:14:00.106> the<00:14:00.186> next<00:14:00.652> 2<00:14:00.989> weeks<00:14:01.534> out<00:14:02.016> for<00:14:02.433> what<00:14:02.593> we're<00:14:02.754> going<00:14:02.866> to<00:14:03.059> post.

00:14:03.540 --> 00:14:15.247
And<00:14:03.636> based<00:14:04.182> on<00:14:04.423> that,<00:14:05.225> I<00:14:05.465> create<00:14:06.027> videos,<00:14:06.829> um,<00:14:07.166> based<00:14:07.551> on<00:14:07.728> what<00:14:07.904> they<00:14:08.065> need<00:14:08.354> from<00:14:08.594> me<00:14:09.316> or<00:14:09.877> like,<00:14:10.054> we'll<00:14:10.214> plan,<00:14:11.560> you<00:14:11.641> know,<00:14:11.753> these<00:14:11.977> are<00:14:12.073> some—<00:14:12.602> we<00:14:12.698> need<00:14:12.859> some<00:14:13.083> quotes,<00:14:13.724> you<00:14:13.837> know,<00:14:14.141> for<00:14:14.366> this<00:14:14.702> or<00:14:14.847> whatever.

00:14:15.408 --> 00:14:26.805
And<00:14:15.648> I<00:14:15.888> have<00:14:16.065> stored<00:14:16.930> just<00:14:17.668> masses<00:14:18.533> of<00:14:19.271> different<00:14:19.656> quotes<00:14:19.992> that<00:14:20.136> I<00:14:20.297> like<00:14:20.714> or<00:14:21.034> different<00:14:21.499> things<00:14:21.739> that<00:14:21.900> I<00:14:22.060> love,<00:14:22.942> different<00:14:23.423> family<00:14:23.920> events<00:14:24.401> that<00:14:24.545> I've<00:14:24.641> taken<00:14:24.962> pictures<00:14:25.507> at,<00:14:25.827> different<00:14:26.148> things<00:14:26.324> like<00:14:26.549> that.

00:14:27.029 --> 00:14:30.139
And<00:14:27.510> I've<00:14:27.671> just<00:14:27.847> stored<00:14:28.328> that,<00:14:28.793> tons<00:14:29.113> of<00:14:29.210> that<00:14:29.530> in<00:14:29.674> my<00:14:29.851> phone.

00:14:30.572 --> 00:14:37.048
And<00:14:30.732> then<00:14:31.438> we<00:14:31.534> just<00:14:31.774> pull<00:14:31.935> them<00:14:32.159> out<00:14:32.640> as<00:14:32.816> needed<00:14:33.762> for<00:14:34.099> the<00:14:34.195> next<00:14:34.516> 2<00:14:34.740> weeks<00:14:35.285> of<00:14:35.525> what's<00:14:35.766> going<00:14:36.006> on<00:14:36.119> in<00:14:36.247> Liz's<00:14:36.599> life.

00:14:38.090 --> 00:14:40.302
And<00:14:38.267> then<00:14:38.651> we<00:14:38.892> drop—<00:14:39.325> we<00:14:39.453> schedule<00:14:39.934> them<00:14:40.174> out.

00:14:40.976 --> 00:14:44.648
And<00:14:41.104> so<00:14:41.377> we<00:14:41.473> use<00:14:41.713> a<00:14:41.794> platform<00:14:43.237> called<00:14:43.943> Sprout<00:14:44.215> Social.

00:14:44.985 --> 00:14:50.631
It's<00:14:45.242> similar<00:14:45.803> to,<00:14:46.605> you<00:14:46.701> know,<00:14:47.231> CoSchedule<00:14:47.952> or<00:14:48.113> Hootsuite<00:14:48.770> or,<00:14:49.075> you<00:14:49.107> know,<00:14:49.251> just<00:14:49.556> all<00:14:49.733> those<00:14:50.053> scheduling.

00:14:50.679 --> 00:14:51.336
Like<00:14:50.743> a<00:14:50.759> buffer,<00:14:51.112> I<00:14:51.160> think.

00:14:51.497 --> 00:14:52.267
Yes,<00:14:52.058> yes.

00:14:52.603 --> 00:14:54.223
And<00:14:53.341> we<00:14:53.485> plan<00:14:53.742> those<00:14:53.967> out.

00:14:54.624 --> 00:14:55.955
We<00:14:54.720> do<00:14:54.865> a<00:14:54.945> lot<00:14:55.105> of<00:14:55.186> video<00:14:55.586> editing.

00:14:56.068 --> 00:14:57.800
We<00:14:56.212> use<00:14:56.388> CapCut<00:14:56.870> for<00:14:57.014> our<00:14:57.110> video<00:14:57.495> editing.

00:14:58.137 --> 00:15:05.546
It's<00:14:58.313> super<00:14:58.794> simple<00:14:59.740> and<00:15:00.462> an<00:15:00.719> intern<00:15:01.200> can<00:15:01.360> do<00:15:01.585> it,<00:15:01.841> you<00:15:01.938> know,<00:15:02.403> or<00:15:02.627> I<00:15:02.788> can<00:15:02.964> do<00:15:03.140> it,<00:15:04.247> you<00:15:04.407> know,<00:15:05.049> it's<00:15:05.274> great.

00:15:05.626 --> 00:15:09.925
So<00:15:06.011> that's<00:15:06.974> a<00:15:06.990> lot<00:15:07.278> of<00:15:07.358> what<00:15:07.519> we<00:15:07.679> do<00:15:07.856> is<00:15:07.936> we<00:15:08.096> plan<00:15:08.417> it<00:15:08.561> out<00:15:08.674> about<00:15:08.898> 2<00:15:09.059> weeks<00:15:09.363> in<00:15:09.459> advance.

00:15:10.566 --> 00:15:33.247
One<00:15:10.726> of<00:15:10.758> the<00:15:10.903> things<00:15:11.207> that<00:15:11.303> I<00:15:11.480> think<00:15:11.800> is<00:15:12.169> very<00:15:12.586> helpful<00:15:13.291> that<00:15:13.708> a<00:15:13.852> lot<00:15:14.028> of<00:15:14.173> people<00:15:14.910> maybe<00:15:15.615> have,<00:15:16.016> have<00:15:16.192> not<00:15:16.737> been<00:15:16.914> told<00:15:17.314> about,<00:15:17.939> um,<00:15:18.420> when<00:15:18.533> they're<00:15:18.677> thinking<00:15:19.013> about<00:15:19.174> social<00:15:19.558> media<00:15:20.103> is<00:15:20.584> I<00:15:20.825> created,<00:15:21.786> uh,<00:15:22.428> like<00:15:22.700> different<00:15:23.165> categories<00:15:24.511> of<00:15:24.768> what<00:15:24.992> I<00:15:25.153> want<00:15:25.329> to<00:15:25.425> be<00:15:25.569> posting<00:15:26.114> about,<00:15:26.691> and<00:15:26.772> then<00:15:26.932> I<00:15:27.092> assigned<00:15:27.653> percentages<00:15:28.695> to<00:15:29.160> how<00:15:29.561> much<00:15:30.042> of<00:15:30.282> each<00:15:30.603> type<00:15:31.164> of<00:15:31.580> category<00:15:32.366> I<00:15:32.542> want<00:15:32.783> to<00:15:32.943> post.

00:15:33.344 --> 00:15:50.949
So<00:15:33.808> for<00:15:33.969> example,<00:15:34.786> like<00:15:35.331> I<00:15:35.572> want<00:15:35.668> to<00:15:35.748> be<00:15:35.908> posting<00:15:36.854> about<00:15:37.992> like<00:15:38.457> branding<00:15:39.660> 50%<00:15:40.077> of<00:15:40.414> the<00:15:40.558> time,<00:15:41.344> and<00:15:41.504> like<00:15:41.825> me<00:15:42.242> giving<00:15:43.059> tips<00:15:43.348> about<00:15:43.605> branding<00:15:44.326> or<00:15:44.647> just<00:15:44.888> talking<00:15:45.353> about<00:15:45.609> branding,<00:15:46.074> how<00:15:46.251> to,<00:15:46.491> you<00:15:46.571> know,<00:15:46.732> tips<00:15:47.277> or,<00:15:48.079> or,<00:15:48.479> um,<00:15:48.656> just<00:15:48.880> general<00:15:49.377> info,<00:15:50.324> that<00:15:50.436> kind<00:15:50.676> of<00:15:50.740> thing.

00:15:51.687 --> 00:15:56.561
And<00:15:51.783> then<00:15:52.344> I<00:15:52.568> want<00:15:52.745> to<00:15:52.809> be<00:15:53.050> talking<00:15:53.402> about<00:15:53.627> my<00:15:53.787> family<00:15:54.990> about<00:15:55.375> 10%<00:15:55.727> of<00:15:56.112> the<00:15:56.208> time.

00:15:57.139 --> 00:16:06.152
And<00:15:57.235> so<00:15:57.716> I,<00:15:58.117> I<00:15:58.277> assign<00:15:59.319> specific<00:16:00.025> percentages<00:16:01.003> to<00:16:01.308> how<00:16:02.190> each<00:16:02.446> one<00:16:02.591> of<00:16:02.623> those<00:16:02.847> categories<00:16:03.553> that<00:16:03.649> I've<00:16:03.889> decided<00:16:04.435> are<00:16:04.611> like<00:16:04.932> This<00:16:05.157> is<00:16:05.253> my<00:16:05.414> content,<00:16:05.959> right?

00:16:06.361 --> 00:16:22.433
And<00:16:06.521> then<00:16:06.778> that<00:16:07.083> gives<00:16:07.324> you<00:16:07.421> a<00:16:07.645> really<00:16:08.063> nice<00:16:08.609> framework<00:16:09.331> for<00:16:10.214> how<00:16:10.696> often<00:16:11.659> and<00:16:11.820> what<00:16:11.981> to<00:16:12.077> post,<00:16:12.559> you<00:16:12.639> know,<00:16:12.880> because<00:16:13.185> you<00:16:13.281> can<00:16:13.442> say<00:16:14.068> like,<00:16:14.582> okay,<00:16:14.887> in<00:16:14.967> the<00:16:15.047> span<00:16:15.834> of<00:16:16.235> 12<00:16:17.038> posts,<00:16:18.002> I<00:16:18.178> know<00:16:18.644> that<00:16:18.981> 6<00:16:19.366> of<00:16:19.398> those<00:16:19.704> posts<00:16:20.426> are<00:16:20.506> going<00:16:20.619> to<00:16:20.731> be<00:16:20.827> about<00:16:21.133> branding,<00:16:21.662> something<00:16:22.016> like<00:16:22.192> that.

00:16:22.578 --> 00:16:25.821
So<00:16:23.140> if<00:16:23.300> you<00:16:23.461> can<00:16:23.718> do<00:16:24.039> that,<00:16:24.761> then<00:16:25.147> that'll<00:16:25.468> help<00:16:25.709> you.

00:16:26.511 --> 00:16:30.718
That'll<00:16:26.768> really<00:16:27.073> help<00:16:27.314> give<00:16:27.507> you<00:16:27.651> like<00:16:27.812> a<00:16:27.892> solid<00:16:29.096> framework<00:16:29.674> for<00:16:29.963> what<00:16:30.124> to<00:16:30.220> post.

00:16:30.943 --> 00:16:35.374
And<00:16:31.023> so<00:16:31.184> we<00:16:31.344> do<00:16:31.441> that<00:16:31.665> actually<00:16:31.922> with<00:16:32.211> all<00:16:32.372> of<00:16:32.452> our<00:16:32.548> social<00:16:32.870> media<00:16:33.255> clients<00:16:33.753> that<00:16:33.993> we<00:16:34.154> run<00:16:34.379> their<00:16:34.491> social<00:16:34.828> media<00:16:35.198> for.

00:16:35.439 --> 00:16:38.213
We<00:16:35.599> create<00:16:36.065> those<00:16:36.642> it's<00:16:36.867> called<00:16:37.043> content<00:16:37.588> type<00:16:37.909> coding.

00:16:38.405 --> 00:16:43.070
And<00:16:38.550> so<00:16:38.806> you<00:16:38.967> create<00:16:39.303> a<00:16:39.367> code<00:16:40.393> of<00:16:40.570> what<00:16:40.826> the<00:16:40.954> type<00:16:41.355> of<00:16:41.772> content<00:16:42.333> is,<00:16:42.878> right?

00:16:43.279 --> 00:16:43.359
Yeah.

00:16:43.615 --> 00:16:46.148
So<00:16:44.000> no,<00:16:44.401> that,<00:16:44.802> that's<00:16:45.138> really<00:16:45.699> interesting.

00:16:46.405 --> 00:16:48.761
Uh,<00:16:46.821> what's<00:16:47.206> the—<00:16:47.863> what<00:16:47.959> are<00:16:48.024> the<00:16:48.168> best<00:16:48.344> platforms?

00:16:48.825 --> 00:16:50.701
Obviously<00:16:49.210> TikTok,<00:16:49.867> that<00:16:50.011> might<00:16:50.172> be<00:16:50.268> number<00:16:50.572> one.

00:16:50.829 --> 00:16:52.320
Instagram,<00:16:51.550> like<00:16:51.694> those,<00:16:52.031> those.

00:16:52.576 --> 00:16:53.891
Well,<00:16:52.897> okay,<00:16:53.073> so<00:16:53.297> here's<00:16:53.554> the<00:16:53.714> thing.

00:16:54.099 --> 00:16:57.818
I<00:16:54.275> think<00:16:54.917> we<00:16:55.061> could—<00:16:55.253> so,<00:16:55.878> okay,<00:16:56.183> I'm<00:16:56.343> gonna<00:16:56.520> be<00:16:56.744> a<00:16:56.824> little<00:16:57.000> bit<00:16:57.145> nerdy<00:16:57.401> with<00:16:57.626> you.

00:16:58.107 --> 00:17:00.735
The<00:16:58.267> thing<00:16:58.427> is,<00:16:58.603> is<00:16:58.700> like<00:16:59.068> it<00:16:59.148> depends<00:16:59.629> on<00:16:59.790> who<00:16:59.870> your<00:17:00.110> audience<00:17:00.527> is.

00:17:00.992 --> 00:17:10.968
So<00:17:01.393> we,<00:17:01.954> um,<00:17:02.595> you<00:17:02.627> know,<00:17:02.835> we're<00:17:02.932> in<00:17:03.092> Nebraska,<00:17:03.749> so<00:17:04.134> we<00:17:04.438> work<00:17:04.695> with<00:17:04.935> a<00:17:05.080> lot<00:17:05.641> of<00:17:06.138> people<00:17:06.522> who<00:17:06.683> are<00:17:06.779> in<00:17:07.083> ag<00:17:07.805> and<00:17:08.848> sell<00:17:09.105> farm<00:17:09.442> equipment,<00:17:10.229> that<00:17:10.326> kind<00:17:10.615> of<00:17:10.647> stuff.

00:17:11.177 --> 00:17:19.561
And,<00:17:12.221> or<00:17:12.398> like,<00:17:12.703> we,<00:17:13.281> one<00:17:13.345> of<00:17:13.458> our<00:17:13.602> clients<00:17:14.309> is,<00:17:15.112> they<00:17:15.755> drive,<00:17:16.959> they<00:17:17.522> are<00:17:17.763> truck,<00:17:18.405> truck<00:17:18.807> drivers,<00:17:19.385> right?

00:17:19.851 --> 00:17:26.195
They<00:17:19.915> have<00:17:20.172> truck<00:17:20.413> driving<00:17:20.670> companies<00:17:21.376> all<00:17:21.473> over<00:17:21.714> the,<00:17:22.260> all<00:17:22.340> over<00:17:22.517> the<00:17:22.581> US,<00:17:23.143> and<00:17:23.786> their<00:17:24.284> best<00:17:24.766> platform<00:17:25.569> is<00:17:25.729> Facebook.

00:17:26.292 --> 00:17:28.042
Go<00:17:26.532> figure,<00:17:27.416> you<00:17:27.833> know.

00:17:28.460 --> 00:17:33.937
But<00:17:28.685> if<00:17:28.942> we,<00:17:29.568> if<00:17:29.729> we<00:17:29.986> have<00:17:30.307> somebody,<00:17:30.725> somebody<00:17:31.046> like<00:17:31.287> me,<00:17:32.058> my<00:17:32.379> best<00:17:32.636> platform<00:17:33.134> is<00:17:33.439> Instagram.

00:17:34.306 --> 00:17:36.053
Because<00:17:34.787> that's<00:17:35.124> people<00:17:35.444> my<00:17:35.829> age.

00:17:36.310 --> 00:17:43.860
And<00:17:36.406> then<00:17:36.566> it's<00:17:36.887> becoming<00:17:37.512> more<00:17:37.688> and<00:17:37.833> more<00:17:38.330> TikTok<00:17:39.115> because<00:17:39.532> again,<00:17:40.157> people<00:17:40.381> my<00:17:40.718> age<00:17:40.878> are<00:17:40.975> becoming—<00:17:42.016> turning<00:17:42.417> more<00:17:42.658> into<00:17:43.058> TikTok,<00:17:43.603> right?

00:17:44.277 --> 00:17:47.932
So<00:17:44.485> it<00:17:44.661> really—<00:17:44.982> you<00:17:45.142> really<00:17:45.367> have<00:17:45.559> to<00:17:45.703> pinpoint<00:17:46.264> where<00:17:46.425> your<00:17:46.649> audience<00:17:47.210> is,<00:17:47.611> you<00:17:47.707> know.

00:17:48.028 --> 00:17:54.552
And<00:17:48.108> so<00:17:48.252> that's<00:17:48.429> something<00:17:48.829> else<00:17:49.086> is<00:17:49.230> like,<00:17:49.631> don't<00:17:49.871> worry<00:17:50.192> about<00:17:50.817> having<00:17:51.074> to<00:17:51.170> be<00:17:51.378> on<00:17:51.474> TikTok<00:17:52.035> unless<00:17:52.981> you<00:17:53.077> know<00:17:53.238> for<00:17:53.414> sure<00:17:53.638> your<00:17:53.879> audience<00:17:54.280> is<00:17:54.440> there.

00:17:55.001 --> 00:18:02.471
So<00:17:55.562> yes,<00:17:55.867> TikTok,<00:17:56.444> probably<00:17:56.844> for<00:17:57.021> someone<00:17:57.405> like<00:17:57.630> you,<00:17:58.351> you<00:17:58.431> know,<00:17:58.752> because<00:17:59.008> a<00:17:59.024> lot<00:17:59.265> of<00:17:59.810> young<00:18:00.115> entrepreneurs<00:18:00.756> are<00:18:00.788> going<00:18:00.884> to<00:18:00.996> want<00:18:01.076> to<00:18:01.173> hear<00:18:01.493> from<00:18:01.830> someone<00:18:02.198> like<00:18:02.439> you.

00:18:02.920 --> 00:18:07.090
But<00:18:03.481> I<00:18:03.657> would<00:18:03.801> say,<00:18:04.138> I<00:18:04.218> can't<00:18:04.443> imagine—<00:18:05.324> I<00:18:05.340> don't<00:18:05.565> even<00:18:05.741> know<00:18:05.950> TikTok<00:18:06.270> thing<00:18:06.590> would<00:18:06.750> be.

00:18:07.090 --> 00:18:11.580
Maybe<00:18:07.110> I'll<00:18:07.290> make<00:18:07.470> one<00:18:07.690> in<00:18:07.790> your<00:18:07.990> honor<00:18:08.510> and<00:18:08.710> see<00:18:08.890> if<00:18:09.050> I<00:18:09.190> like<00:18:09.430> it,<00:18:09.710> but<00:18:09.930> I<00:18:10.030> don't,<00:18:10.470> I<00:18:10.471> don't<00:18:10.472> know<00:18:10.630> what<00:18:10.730> that<00:18:10.830> would<00:18:11.090> look<00:18:11.230> like.

00:18:12.530 --> 00:18:14.610
I<00:18:12.910> can't<00:18:13.190> even<00:18:13.250> imagine<00:18:13.510> like<00:18:13.770> what<00:18:13.870> I<00:18:14.010> would<00:18:14.190> say.

00:18:14.610 --> 00:18:15.800
Yeah,<00:18:14.830> I<00:18:14.890> would<00:18:15.070> do<00:18:15.230> a<00:18:15.350> dance.

00:18:16.030 --> 00:18:17.770
That'd<00:18:16.470> be<00:18:16.510> very<00:18:16.710> cool.

00:18:17.770 --> 00:18:22.450
Um,<00:18:18.210> it<00:18:18.211> would<00:18:18.490> be<00:18:18.690> humiliating<00:18:19.550> and<00:18:19.790> get<00:18:20.110> like<00:18:20.810> zero<00:18:21.030> likes<00:18:21.590> and<00:18:21.750> downvotes.

00:18:22.570 --> 00:18:24.450
It'd<00:18:23.150> be<00:18:23.230> very<00:18:23.490> cool.

00:18:24.450 --> 00:18:27.440
Yeah,<00:18:24.910> yeah,<00:18:25.050> dancing<00:18:25.210> is<00:18:25.450> one<00:18:25.610> of<00:18:25.730> the<00:18:25.870> things<00:18:26.110> that<00:18:26.330> I<00:18:26.490> am<00:18:26.890> not.

00:18:28.130 --> 00:18:29.400
That<00:18:28.150> is<00:18:28.630> not<00:18:28.850> me.

00:18:31.768 --> 00:18:33.338
Oh,<00:18:31.976> that's<00:18:32.938> awesome.

00:18:33.755 --> 00:18:37.088
Hey,<00:18:34.075> tell<00:18:34.316> us<00:18:34.540> like,<00:18:34.861> um,<00:18:35.822> how<00:18:35.918> do<00:18:35.982> you<00:18:36.079> take<00:18:36.223> care<00:18:36.415> of<00:18:36.463> your<00:18:36.575> mental<00:18:36.864> health?

00:18:37.425 --> 00:18:41.303
That's<00:18:37.601> a<00:18:37.745> big<00:18:37.921> topic<00:18:38.466> in<00:18:38.626> entrepreneurship<00:18:39.283> right<00:18:39.444> now<00:18:39.748> and<00:18:39.844> leadership<00:18:40.630> and<00:18:40.678> CEOs.

00:18:41.511 --> 00:18:42.697
How<00:18:41.591> do<00:18:41.751> you<00:18:42.168> manage<00:18:42.569> it?

00:18:42.873 --> 00:18:53.177
Dude,<00:18:43.113> I<00:18:43.193> love<00:18:43.386> talking<00:18:43.770> about<00:18:44.011> this<00:18:44.187> so<00:18:44.411> much<00:18:44.876> because,<00:18:45.838> um,<00:18:46.495> right<00:18:46.959> after<00:18:47.600> I<00:18:47.857> had<00:18:48.097> my<00:18:48.321> daughter—<00:18:48.674> so<00:18:48.802> I<00:18:48.818> have<00:18:49.042> one<00:18:49.283> child,<00:18:50.324> um,<00:18:50.741> early<00:18:51.046> on<00:18:51.286> I<00:18:51.318> actually<00:18:51.638> never<00:18:52.007> wanted<00:18:52.344> children<00:18:52.888> at<00:18:53.129> all.

00:18:53.930 --> 00:18:57.423
I<00:18:54.186> waited,<00:18:54.667> my<00:18:54.747> husband<00:18:55.084> and<00:18:55.228> I<00:18:55.388> waited<00:18:55.773> for<00:18:55.869> 12<00:18:56.254> years<00:18:56.510> before<00:18:56.814> we<00:18:56.975> had<00:18:57.215> kids.

00:18:58.021 --> 00:19:00.156
And<00:18:59.315> I<00:18:59.412> never<00:18:59.654> wanted<00:18:59.897> kids.

00:19:00.204 --> 00:19:01.029
My<00:19:00.301> husband<00:19:00.689> did.

00:19:01.579 --> 00:19:03.584
And<00:19:01.919> so<00:19:02.145> we<00:19:02.242> finally<00:19:02.630> compromised<00:19:03.196> on<00:19:03.374> one.

00:19:06.297 --> 00:19:11.856
And<00:19:07.663> she's<00:19:07.840> amazing<00:19:08.386> and<00:19:08.466> I<00:19:08.627> love<00:19:08.788> her<00:19:09.189> and<00:19:09.350> she<00:19:09.623> is<00:19:09.912> spicy<00:19:10.732> and<00:19:10.973> everything,<00:19:11.680> you<00:19:11.776> know.

00:19:12.419 --> 00:19:25.550
But<00:19:14.009> right<00:19:14.250> after<00:19:14.507> I<00:19:14.652> had<00:19:14.973> her,<00:19:15.375> I<00:19:15.520> got<00:19:15.859> really<00:19:16.118> bad<00:19:16.522> postpartum<00:19:17.072> depression<00:19:18.123> and<00:19:19.579> I,<00:19:20.226> you<00:19:20.258> know,<00:19:20.501> immediately<00:19:21.617> was<00:19:21.924> put<00:19:22.328> on<00:19:23.169> Zoloft<00:19:24.188> and<00:19:24.608> I<00:19:24.705> started<00:19:24.917> taking<00:19:25.344> that.

00:19:25.704 --> 00:19:30.941
And<00:19:25.960> of<00:19:26.114> course,<00:19:26.722> you<00:19:26.866> know,<00:19:27.187> my<00:19:27.348> life<00:19:27.524> changed<00:19:28.310> and<00:19:28.711> I<00:19:29.064> started<00:19:29.449> feeling<00:19:29.754> better<00:19:30.236> and<00:19:30.396> all<00:19:30.476> this<00:19:30.572> stuff.

00:19:31.198 --> 00:19:45.316
And<00:19:31.936> the<00:19:32.241> other<00:19:32.417> thing<00:19:32.658> that<00:19:32.803> I<00:19:32.899> noticed<00:19:33.621> is<00:19:33.861> that,<00:19:34.487> um,<00:19:35.129> aggressive,<00:19:36.043> pretty<00:19:36.573> snotty<00:19:37.134> clients,<00:19:38.113> things<00:19:38.354> that<00:19:38.514> they<00:19:38.674> would<00:19:38.819> say<00:19:39.797> that<00:19:40.038> used<00:19:40.311> to<00:19:40.423> give<00:19:40.600> me<00:19:40.760> like<00:19:41.562> massive<00:19:42.284> anxiety<00:19:43.006> for<00:19:43.247> days<00:19:43.552> on<00:19:43.728> end<00:19:43.921> started<00:19:44.450> rolling<00:19:44.771> off<00:19:44.931> my<00:19:45.092> back.

00:19:45.477 --> 00:19:47.001
And<00:19:45.637> I<00:19:45.718> was<00:19:45.894> like,<00:19:46.215> that's<00:19:46.536> kind<00:19:46.696> of<00:19:46.776> cool.

00:19:47.739 --> 00:19:48.252
Yeah.

00:19:49.247 --> 00:19:56.381
And,<00:19:49.648> uh,<00:19:50.162> so<00:19:50.386> then<00:19:50.691> I<00:19:50.851> was<00:19:50.900> like,<00:19:51.509> well,<00:19:51.686> maybe<00:19:51.991> I'll<00:19:52.616> you<00:19:52.712> know,<00:19:53.257> check<00:19:53.433> in<00:19:53.513> with<00:19:53.673> a<00:19:53.737> doctor,<00:19:54.538> you<00:19:54.651> know,<00:19:55.179> and<00:19:55.291> see<00:19:55.516> what<00:19:55.676> they<00:19:55.916> think.

00:19:56.621 --> 00:19:57.406
And<00:19:56.798> so<00:19:56.958> I<00:19:57.118> did.

00:19:57.743 --> 00:20:05.337
And<00:19:58.400> they—<00:19:58.864> my<00:19:59.505> primary<00:19:59.842> care<00:20:00.002> doctor<00:20:00.402> was<00:20:00.563> like,<00:20:01.284> you<00:20:01.508> can<00:20:01.604> take<00:20:01.844> this<00:20:02.645> for<00:20:02.966> the<00:20:03.126> rest<00:20:03.431> of<00:20:03.511> your<00:20:03.671> life<00:20:04.152> and<00:20:04.312> you<00:20:04.392> will<00:20:04.488> have<00:20:04.664> no<00:20:04.985> issues.

00:20:05.594 --> 00:20:07.933
And<00:20:05.674> I<00:20:05.754> was<00:20:05.930> like,<00:20:06.314> perfect,<00:20:07.132> I'm<00:20:07.228> going<00:20:07.372> to<00:20:07.516> do<00:20:07.756> that.

00:20:08.493 --> 00:20:18.395
So,<00:20:10.016> so<00:20:10.320> I<00:20:10.496> take<00:20:11.441> a<00:20:12.243> like<00:20:12.499> anti-anxiety<00:20:14.486> and<00:20:14.582> then<00:20:14.742> I<00:20:14.822> also<00:20:15.126> have<00:20:15.303> like<00:20:15.527> Xanax<00:20:16.264> for,<00:20:16.969> you<00:20:17.065> know,<00:20:17.450> extra<00:20:17.786> bad<00:20:18.107> days.

00:20:18.811 --> 00:20:22.272
And,<00:20:19.693> and<00:20:20.334> I'm<00:20:20.686> a<00:20:20.750> huge<00:20:21.231> proponent<00:20:22.016> of<00:20:22.112> it.

00:20:22.497 --> 00:20:26.487
Um,<00:20:23.090> I'm<00:20:23.250> a<00:20:23.298> huge<00:20:23.619> proponent<00:20:24.260> of,<00:20:24.821> you<00:20:24.853> know,<00:20:25.061> what<00:20:25.221> I<00:20:25.317> had<00:20:25.542> to<00:20:25.638> do,<00:20:26.023> obviously.

00:20:26.584 --> 00:20:30.254
But<00:20:26.680> then<00:20:26.824> I've<00:20:26.984> also<00:20:27.321> talked<00:20:27.625> with<00:20:27.721> someone<00:20:28.026> else<00:20:28.266> who<00:20:28.363> was<00:20:28.523> like,<00:20:28.907> you<00:20:29.004> don't<00:20:29.164> have<00:20:29.340> to<00:20:29.468> just<00:20:29.709> do<00:20:29.885> drugs.

00:20:31.568 --> 00:20:35.735
So,<00:20:32.706> so<00:20:33.155> I<00:20:33.235> was<00:20:33.395> like,<00:20:33.555> yes,<00:20:33.796> that's<00:20:34.276> a<00:20:34.357> very—<00:20:35.158> that's<00:20:35.639> true.

00:20:36.119 --> 00:20:44.245
Um,<00:20:36.600> but<00:20:36.777> I'm<00:20:36.937> a<00:20:37.001> huge<00:20:37.257> proponent<00:20:37.898> of<00:20:38.443> entrepreneurs<00:20:39.405> are<00:20:39.902> some<00:20:40.126> of<00:20:40.286> the<00:20:40.527> loneliest,<00:20:41.040> most<00:20:41.328> isolated<00:20:42.450> people<00:20:43.107> that<00:20:43.652> are<00:20:43.812> out<00:20:44.053> there.

00:20:44.694 --> 00:20:51.169
And<00:20:44.950> many<00:20:45.335> of<00:20:45.431> us<00:20:45.816> do<00:20:45.928> not<00:20:46.216> have<00:20:46.393> anyone<00:20:46.777> to<00:20:46.873> talk<00:20:47.194> to<00:20:47.659> about<00:20:48.075> the<00:20:48.236> pressures<00:20:49.037> and<00:20:49.117> responsibilities<00:20:50.079> that<00:20:50.239> lay<00:20:50.463> on<00:20:50.576> our<00:20:50.704> shoulders.

00:20:52.226 --> 00:21:00.786
It,<00:20:52.563> you<00:20:52.643> know,<00:20:52.948> until<00:20:53.365> I<00:20:53.509> had<00:20:53.765> my<00:20:53.990> business<00:20:54.326> partner,<00:20:55.048> the<00:20:55.208> only<00:20:55.448> person<00:20:55.833> that<00:20:55.929> I<00:20:56.074> had<00:20:56.250> to<00:20:56.330> talk<00:20:56.570> to<00:20:56.731> was<00:20:56.891> my<00:20:57.035> husband,<00:20:57.693> and<00:20:57.853> he<00:20:58.093> is<00:20:58.334> also<00:20:59.279> a<00:21:00.017> business<00:21:00.482> owner.

00:21:01.283 --> 00:21:10.853
And<00:21:01.379> so<00:21:01.700> we<00:21:01.860> would<00:21:02.004> just<00:21:02.245> come<00:21:02.485> home<00:21:03.046> and<00:21:03.127> it<00:21:03.223> would<00:21:03.383> just<00:21:03.688> like<00:21:04.201> spiral<00:21:04.970> into<00:21:05.483> some,<00:21:05.723> sometimes<00:21:06.268> a<00:21:06.365> dark<00:21:06.669> place,<00:21:07.615> you<00:21:07.727> know,<00:21:08.192> and<00:21:08.432> like,<00:21:08.657> that's<00:21:08.865> not<00:21:09.154> good,<00:21:10.500> you<00:21:10.596> know.

00:21:11.462 --> 00:21:28.533
And<00:21:11.558> so,<00:21:12.183> um,<00:21:12.921> it's<00:21:13.161> been<00:21:13.963> one,<00:21:14.427> amazing<00:21:14.924> to<00:21:15.069> have<00:21:15.245> a<00:21:15.325> business<00:21:15.710> partner<00:21:16.191> who<00:21:16.832> is<00:21:17.072> younger<00:21:17.713> and<00:21:18.291> she<00:21:19.076> is<00:21:19.413> a<00:21:19.557> little<00:21:19.733> bit<00:21:19.877> more<00:21:20.054> fresh-faced,<00:21:21.160> you<00:21:21.272> know,<00:21:21.640> and<00:21:21.737> like<00:21:22.218> has<00:21:22.602> a<00:21:22.859> more<00:21:23.099> positive<00:21:23.644> attitude<00:21:24.061> because<00:21:24.301> she<00:21:24.461> doesn't<00:21:25.247> have<00:21:25.567> all<00:21:25.728> the<00:21:25.888> baggage<00:21:26.385> that<00:21:26.609> I've<00:21:26.834> had—<00:21:27.170> I<00:21:27.331> bring<00:21:27.587> to<00:21:27.667> the<00:21:27.827> table,<00:21:28.228> you<00:21:28.324> know.

00:21:28.629 --> 00:21:29.863
And<00:21:28.725> so<00:21:29.270> that's<00:21:29.494> helpful.

00:21:30.296 --> 00:21:35.249
Um,<00:21:30.873> but<00:21:31.033> then<00:21:31.338> also<00:21:31.979> like<00:21:32.460> having<00:21:33.437> people<00:21:34.319> that<00:21:34.463> I<00:21:34.543> can<00:21:34.720> talk<00:21:35.104> to.

00:21:35.665 --> 00:21:43.439
Um,<00:21:36.563> not<00:21:36.803> all<00:21:36.899> my<00:21:37.044> friends<00:21:37.428> own<00:21:37.605> businesses,<00:21:38.727> but<00:21:39.672> I<00:21:40.474> have<00:21:41.131> tons<00:21:42.012> of<00:21:42.237> people<00:21:42.734> that<00:21:42.958> I<00:21:43.054> go<00:21:43.295> to.

00:21:44.080 --> 00:21:55.058
I<00:21:44.160> have,<00:21:44.737> you<00:21:44.817> know,<00:21:44.978> this—<00:21:45.443> I<00:21:45.603> have<00:21:45.843> a<00:21:45.939> female<00:21:46.420> pastor<00:21:47.366> that<00:21:47.527> I<00:21:47.623> talk<00:21:47.880> to<00:21:48.346> every<00:21:48.651> other<00:21:48.828> week<00:21:49.695> just<00:21:50.112> about<00:21:50.417> my<00:21:50.514> entire<00:21:50.915> life,<00:21:51.236> you<00:21:51.332> know,<00:21:51.493> whether<00:21:51.782> it's<00:21:51.959> business<00:21:52.424> or<00:21:52.521> friendships<00:21:53.227> or<00:21:53.484> whatever,<00:21:54.030> family,<00:21:54.608> anything.

00:21:55.571 --> 00:21:56.583
I<00:21:55.652> talk<00:21:55.892> to<00:21:55.973> her<00:21:56.053> about<00:21:56.438> it.

00:21:56.840 --> 00:22:05.575
And<00:21:56.936> then<00:21:57.097> I<00:21:57.241> have<00:21:57.482> a,<00:21:57.819> like,<00:21:58.044> a<00:21:58.767> couple<00:21:59.088> different,<00:21:59.489> like,<00:21:59.730> just<00:21:59.907> small<00:22:00.308> groups<00:22:00.693> of<00:22:00.774> friends<00:22:01.593> that<00:22:01.737> I<00:22:01.817> can<00:22:01.978> talk<00:22:02.251> to<00:22:02.460> about<00:22:02.717> anything,<00:22:03.279> sometimes<00:22:03.824> business,<00:22:04.563> sometimes<00:22:05.029> other<00:22:05.350> things.

00:22:06.153 --> 00:22:29.494
And<00:22:06.249> I<00:22:06.410> think,<00:22:07.036> I<00:22:07.132> think<00:22:07.228> it's<00:22:07.453> just<00:22:07.871> you<00:22:07.999> have<00:22:08.320> to<00:22:08.417> make<00:22:08.657> sure<00:22:09.219> that<00:22:09.380> you<00:22:09.605> have<00:22:09.862> some<00:22:10.343> sort<00:22:10.809> of<00:22:11.210> friends<00:22:11.612> that<00:22:11.708> support<00:22:12.254> you<00:22:13.709> and<00:22:13.790> that<00:22:13.936> you<00:22:14.033> can<00:22:14.276> talk<00:22:14.584> to,<00:22:15.247> and<00:22:15.393> then<00:22:16.041> just<00:22:16.365> figure<00:22:16.769> out<00:22:16.931> a<00:22:17.093> way<00:22:17.498> to<00:22:19.360> deal<00:22:19.603> with<00:22:19.700> the<00:22:19.781> pressures,<00:22:20.574> whether<00:22:20.914> it<00:22:21.141> is<00:22:21.707> seeing<00:22:22.112> a<00:22:22.144> mental<00:22:22.420> health<00:22:22.613> professional<00:22:23.887> or<00:22:24.371> like<00:22:24.549> what<00:22:24.694> I'm<00:22:24.952> doing,<00:22:26.227> just<00:22:26.404> some<00:22:26.630> good<00:22:26.872> old-fashioned<00:22:27.469> Xanax,<00:22:29.220> you<00:22:29.252> know.

00:22:30.058 --> 00:22:40.137
But<00:22:30.526> it's<00:22:31.414> definitely<00:22:32.398> something<00:22:32.866> that<00:22:33.592> all<00:22:33.688> of<00:22:33.834> us<00:22:33.995> go<00:22:34.172> through<00:22:35.124> and<00:22:35.931> it<00:22:36.028> can<00:22:36.270> feel<00:22:36.512> very<00:22:36.834> lonely<00:22:37.157> and<00:22:37.238> very<00:22:37.544> isolating,<00:22:38.270> but<00:22:38.770> we<00:22:38.933> all,<00:22:39.329> we<00:22:39.576> all<00:22:39.675> deal<00:22:39.906> with<00:22:40.088> it.

00:22:40.240 --> 00:22:44.780
You<00:22:40.560> know,<00:22:40.780> and<00:22:41.000> so<00:22:41.200> it's<00:22:41.320> actually<00:22:41.660> not<00:22:42.020> a<00:22:42.240> lonely<00:22:42.520> place<00:22:43.080> because<00:22:43.500> so<00:22:43.800> many<00:22:43.900> of<00:22:44.080> us<00:22:44.220> go<00:22:44.360> through<00:22:44.540> it.

00:22:44.780 --> 00:22:45.520
So<00:22:45.180> yeah.

00:22:45.520 --> 00:22:46.220
Yeah.

00:22:46.220 --> 00:22:46.340
Yeah.

00:22:46.340 --> 00:22:47.800
I<00:22:46.420> think<00:22:46.540> that's<00:22:46.800> beautifully<00:22:47.180> put.

00:22:47.800 --> 00:22:48.520
What<00:22:47.900> are<00:22:48.000> you<00:22:48.180> thinking?

00:22:48.520 --> 00:23:02.580
Like,<00:22:48.700> as<00:22:48.900> you<00:22:49.140> prepare<00:22:49.580> for<00:22:49.820> 2025,<00:22:51.000> I<00:22:51.320> wonder<00:22:51.880> even<00:22:52.340> kind<00:22:52.600> of<00:22:52.700> what<00:22:52.900> your<00:22:53.160> 2024<00:22:53.800> looked<00:22:54.140> like<00:22:54.420> because<00:22:54.700> you<00:22:54.820> had<00:22:54.980> like<00:22:55.200> inflation<00:22:55.820> and<00:22:56.200> you<00:22:56.340> had<00:22:56.500> some—<00:22:57.240> the<00:22:57.260> economy<00:22:57.640> was<00:22:58.000> kind<00:22:58.160> of<00:22:58.440> stagnant<00:22:58.940> in<00:22:59.320> some<00:22:59.640> areas,<00:22:59.960> not<00:23:00.140> even<00:23:00.440> like<00:23:00.960> kind<00:23:01.100> of<00:23:01.240> bad<00:23:01.440> in<00:23:01.560> some<00:23:01.760> areas,<00:23:02.020> good<00:23:02.240> in<00:23:02.460> some.

00:23:02.850 --> 00:23:10.300
And<00:23:03.400> now<00:23:03.740> like<00:23:04.060> there's<00:23:04.240> a<00:23:04.460> little<00:23:04.540> bit<00:23:04.720> more<00:23:04.900> certainty,<00:23:05.500> I<00:23:05.960> think,<00:23:06.460> around<00:23:06.800> like,<00:23:07.100> hey,<00:23:07.140> what<00:23:07.400> 2025<00:23:07.860> is<00:23:08.080> going<00:23:08.160> to<00:23:08.240> look<00:23:08.320> at<00:23:08.460> least<00:23:08.620> like<00:23:08.920> from<00:23:09.120> a<00:23:09.180> government<00:23:09.540> perspective<00:23:10.020> that<00:23:10.220> you<00:23:10.240> can<00:23:10.260> prepare<00:23:10.280> for.

00:23:11.213 --> 00:23:18.336
But<00:23:11.357> how<00:23:11.534> do<00:23:11.598> you<00:23:11.854> think<00:23:12.111> about,<00:23:12.801> um,<00:23:13.539> how<00:23:13.635> are<00:23:13.699> you<00:23:13.844> thinking<00:23:13.988> about<00:23:14.181> 2025<00:23:14.807> and<00:23:14.903> how<00:23:15.079> did<00:23:15.224> you<00:23:15.448> handle<00:23:15.946> kind<00:23:16.122> of<00:23:16.186> that,<00:23:16.652> um,<00:23:16.972> downturn<00:23:17.486> of<00:23:17.614> 2024?

00:23:18.834 --> 00:23:22.331
Yeah,<00:23:19.459> you<00:23:19.556> know,<00:23:20.261> I've<00:23:20.598> been<00:23:20.983> through<00:23:21.545> a<00:23:21.705> lot<00:23:21.898> of<00:23:22.106> these.

00:23:23.791 --> 00:23:35.455
So<00:23:24.529> I<00:23:24.609> think<00:23:25.075> as<00:23:25.476> a<00:23:26.037> CEO,<00:23:26.775> as<00:23:26.936> a<00:23:27.016> business<00:23:27.417> owner,<00:23:28.139> sometimes<00:23:28.701> it<00:23:28.781> can<00:23:29.005> feel<00:23:29.487> like<00:23:29.808> your<00:23:30.225> days<00:23:31.171> are<00:23:31.332> like<00:23:31.588> this,<00:23:32.294> you<00:23:32.407> know,<00:23:32.792> they<00:23:32.952> go<00:23:33.193> up<00:23:33.337> and<00:23:33.498> down<00:23:33.979> sometimes<00:23:34.412> moment<00:23:34.797> by<00:23:34.893> moment.

00:23:35.664 --> 00:23:42.779
And<00:23:35.776> so<00:23:37.507> At<00:23:37.619> some<00:23:38.228> point<00:23:39.110> you<00:23:39.350> have<00:23:39.526> to<00:23:39.686> figure<00:23:40.151> out<00:23:40.311> how<00:23:40.568> to<00:23:40.872> ride<00:23:41.834> the<00:23:41.994> ups<00:23:42.170> and<00:23:42.314> downs.

00:23:43.276 --> 00:23:46.224
You<00:23:43.356> have<00:23:43.548> to<00:23:43.628> like<00:23:43.917> rise<00:23:44.173> above<00:23:44.798> the<00:23:44.894> highs<00:23:45.519> and<00:23:45.695> the<00:23:45.792> lows.

00:23:46.481 --> 00:24:04.251
And<00:23:46.753> so<00:23:47.698> I<00:23:47.859> think<00:23:48.099> that<00:23:48.884> in,<00:23:49.445> you<00:23:49.557> know,<00:23:50.262> the<00:23:50.406> craziness<00:23:51.063> of<00:23:51.144> 2024,<00:23:52.586> even<00:23:52.826> just<00:23:52.986> like<00:23:53.211> mentally,<00:23:54.909> I<00:23:54.989> feel<00:23:55.374> like,<00:23:55.871> yes,<00:23:56.191> there<00:23:56.351> was<00:23:56.512> a<00:23:56.528> lot<00:23:56.752> going<00:23:57.153> on,<00:23:57.778> but<00:23:58.659> I<00:23:58.755> feel<00:23:58.979> like<00:23:59.236> because<00:24:00.021> I<00:24:00.181> have<00:24:01.014> seen<00:24:01.399> this<00:24:01.639> before,<00:24:02.665> you<00:24:02.761> know,<00:24:03.338> several<00:24:03.786> times.

00:24:04.588 --> 00:24:07.985
Yeah,<00:24:05.870> it<00:24:06.046> didn't,<00:24:06.767> it<00:24:06.847> didn't<00:24:07.087> bother<00:24:07.424> me<00:24:07.632> as<00:24:07.793> much.

00:24:08.273 --> 00:24:28.480
And,<00:24:08.994> um,<00:24:09.715> the<00:24:09.892> other<00:24:10.196> thing<00:24:10.597> is<00:24:10.693> that,<00:24:11.318> you<00:24:11.414> know,<00:24:11.959> with<00:24:12.279> the,<00:24:12.936> the<00:24:13.081> place<00:24:13.401> that<00:24:13.561> my<00:24:13.737> business<00:24:14.138> is<00:24:14.443> in,<00:24:14.843> like<00:24:15.019> I<00:24:15.100> said,<00:24:15.484> where<00:24:15.724> I<00:24:15.965> really<00:24:16.301> honed<00:24:16.766> in<00:24:17.247> on<00:24:18.288> this<00:24:18.545> is<00:24:18.705> my<00:24:19.330> business,<00:24:19.747> these<00:24:19.987> are<00:24:20.067> my<00:24:20.227> skills,<00:24:20.708> these<00:24:20.932> are<00:24:20.964> my<00:24:21.109> services,<00:24:21.750> this<00:24:21.990> is<00:24:22.230> really<00:24:22.551> what<00:24:22.711> I'm<00:24:22.871> going<00:24:23.256> after,<00:24:24.217> I,<00:24:25.179> you<00:24:25.211> know,<00:24:25.435> I,<00:24:25.740> um,<00:24:26.156> toned<00:24:26.557> down<00:24:26.861> my<00:24:27.038> team<00:24:27.679> a<00:24:27.759> little<00:24:28.079> bit.

00:24:28.944 --> 00:24:30.692
Um,<00:24:29.265> actually<00:24:29.986> I<00:24:30.147> didn't<00:24:30.419> do<00:24:30.628> it.

00:24:30.949 --> 00:24:32.136
They<00:24:31.269> did<00:24:31.382> it<00:24:31.526> themselves.

00:24:32.713 --> 00:24:43.331
I,<00:24:33.114> you<00:24:33.210> know,<00:24:33.435> refocused<00:24:34.092> what<00:24:34.253> we<00:24:34.413> were<00:24:34.574> doing<00:24:35.199> and<00:24:35.632> several<00:24:36.081> people<00:24:36.354> decided<00:24:36.899> to<00:24:37.541> look<00:24:37.765> for<00:24:37.846> other<00:24:38.102> jobs<00:24:38.728> and<00:24:39.947> found<00:24:40.187> other<00:24:40.412> jobs<00:24:41.134> and<00:24:41.182> it<00:24:41.230> was<00:24:41.374> great<00:24:41.856> and<00:24:41.952> I<00:24:42.112> just<00:24:42.273> never<00:24:42.513> replaced<00:24:43.139> them.

00:24:43.700 --> 00:24:48.287
And<00:24:43.780> so<00:24:44.261> I<00:24:44.358> actually<00:24:44.598> have<00:24:44.759> quite<00:24:44.983> a<00:24:45.015> bit<00:24:45.160> smaller<00:24:45.625> team<00:24:46.363> than<00:24:46.507> I<00:24:46.683> ever<00:24:46.908> have<00:24:47.084> before<00:24:47.630> either<00:24:48.047> too.

00:24:48.592 --> 00:24:57.767
And<00:24:48.785> so<00:24:50.517> like<00:24:50.693> in<00:24:50.773> that<00:24:51.014> regard,<00:24:51.720> it's<00:24:52.121> actually<00:24:52.442> like<00:24:52.618> great,<00:24:54.238> you<00:24:54.382> know,<00:24:54.623> and<00:24:54.703> I've—<00:24:55.264> I'm<00:24:55.409> using<00:24:55.665> a<00:24:55.730> lot<00:24:55.890> more<00:24:56.050> contractors<00:24:56.724> than<00:24:56.852> I<00:24:57.013> ever<00:24:57.269> have<00:24:57.430> before.

00:24:57.847 --> 00:25:04.724
So<00:24:58.120> So<00:24:58.616> in<00:24:58.697> a<00:24:58.793> lot<00:24:59.033> of<00:24:59.177> ways,<00:24:59.979> I'm<00:25:00.139> probably<00:25:00.700> doing—<00:25:01.919> in<00:25:01.999> a—<00:25:02.303> as<00:25:02.416> a<00:25:02.480> business,<00:25:02.880> I'm<00:25:02.977> probably<00:25:03.281> doing<00:25:03.506> better<00:25:03.762> than<00:25:03.858> I<00:25:03.987> have<00:25:04.243> before.

00:25:05.125 --> 00:25:09.966
And<00:25:05.205> so,<00:25:05.830> um,<00:25:06.551> I<00:25:06.632> think<00:25:06.744> I'm<00:25:06.888> just<00:25:07.128> running<00:25:07.449> it<00:25:07.545> smarter,<00:25:08.395> you<00:25:08.507> know,<00:25:08.892> just<00:25:09.196> practically<00:25:09.613> speaking.

00:25:10.318 --> 00:25:21.011
Um,<00:25:10.960> and<00:25:11.056> so<00:25:11.376> in<00:25:11.473> some<00:25:11.697> ways,<00:25:12.162> you<00:25:12.194> know,<00:25:12.499> I<00:25:12.643> think<00:25:13.220> the<00:25:13.300> 2024<00:25:14.727> craziness<00:25:15.689> didn't<00:25:15.945> affect<00:25:16.362> me<00:25:16.811> probably<00:25:17.933> as<00:25:18.093> much<00:25:18.350> as,<00:25:19.151> you<00:25:19.247> know,<00:25:19.392> sounds<00:25:19.632> like<00:25:19.808> it<00:25:19.953> probably<00:25:20.417> did<00:25:20.674> others.

00:25:21.299 --> 00:25:32.526
And<00:25:21.395> then<00:25:21.620> for<00:25:21.716> 2025,<00:25:23.143> um,<00:25:23.784> I<00:25:23.864> would<00:25:23.976> say<00:25:24.361> that<00:25:24.842> as<00:25:25.002> far<00:25:25.146> as<00:25:25.226> the<00:25:25.323> business<00:25:25.707> goes,<00:25:25.964> I<00:25:26.124> think<00:25:26.749> that<00:25:27.342> it's<00:25:27.551> only<00:25:27.727> going<00:25:27.871> to<00:25:27.952> get<00:25:28.112> better,<00:25:28.673> and<00:25:28.753> I'm<00:25:28.913> only<00:25:29.154> hoping<00:25:29.571> for<00:25:30.020> more<00:25:30.763> fun,<00:25:31.507> exciting<00:25:31.992> projects.

00:25:32.623 --> 00:25:32.800
Yeah.

00:25:32.946 --> 00:25:44.129
On<00:25:33.431> our<00:25:34.013> country's<00:25:34.822> front,<00:25:35.937> I<00:25:36.018> have<00:25:36.665> concerns,<00:25:39.373> but<00:25:39.537> as<00:25:39.651> far<00:25:40.044> as<00:25:40.534> my<00:25:40.779> business,<00:25:43.401> I<00:25:43.514> am<00:25:43.643> hopeful.

00:25:44.469 --> 00:25:45.943
Yeah,<00:25:44.647> yeah,<00:25:45.360> for<00:25:45.748> sure.

00:25:46.396 --> 00:25:47.044
Yeah.

00:25:47.206 --> 00:25:50.363
There's<00:25:47.870> the<00:25:47.918> whole<00:25:48.177> political<00:25:48.598> side<00:25:48.825> of<00:25:48.922> it,<00:25:49.003> which<00:25:49.230> we<00:25:49.327> don't<00:25:49.796> even<00:25:49.894> need<00:25:50.039> to<00:25:50.217> get<00:25:50.282> into.

00:25:50.541 --> 00:25:51.189
I<00:25:50.946> know.

00:25:51.658 --> 00:25:51.836
Yeah.

00:25:51.981 --> 00:25:55.439
But<00:25:52.224> just<00:25:52.401> having<00:25:52.660> some<00:25:52.967> sort<00:25:53.193> of<00:25:53.290> idea<00:25:53.613> of<00:25:53.775> what's<00:25:54.017> going<00:25:54.130> to<00:25:54.178> happen<00:25:54.825> in<00:25:54.906> 2025.

00:25:56.066 --> 00:25:56.852
Feels<00:25:56.163> like<00:25:56.323> might<00:25:56.483> be<00:25:56.644> good.

00:25:57.446 --> 00:26:05.065
Finally,<00:25:57.991> we<00:25:58.152> end<00:25:58.248> every<00:25:58.473> interview<00:25:58.729> with<00:25:58.809> the<00:25:58.890> same<00:25:59.114> question,<00:25:59.756> and<00:25:59.916> that<00:26:00.093> is<00:26:00.253> at<00:26:00.349> CEO.com,<00:26:01.216> we<00:26:01.376> believe<00:26:01.681> the<00:26:01.761> chances<00:26:02.242> one<00:26:02.563> gives<00:26:03.060> is<00:26:03.141> just<00:26:03.349> as<00:26:03.461> important<00:26:03.782> as<00:26:03.862> the<00:26:04.007> chances<00:26:04.408> one<00:26:04.584> takes.

00:26:05.226 --> 00:26:08.049
When<00:26:05.370> you<00:26:05.691> hear<00:26:05.867> that,<00:26:06.108> who<00:26:06.269> gave<00:26:06.493> you<00:26:06.605> a<00:26:06.670> chance<00:26:06.990> to<00:26:07.071> get<00:26:07.215> you<00:26:07.327> to<00:26:07.391> where<00:26:07.616> you<00:26:07.776> are<00:26:07.873> today?

00:26:08.498 --> 00:26:10.279
Oh<00:26:08.514> man,<00:26:09.156> honestly,<00:26:09.493> so<00:26:09.717> many<00:26:09.958> people.

00:26:10.584 --> 00:26:19.647
You<00:26:10.616> know,<00:26:10.985> I<00:26:11.065> would<00:26:11.225> actually<00:26:11.482> say,<00:26:12.268> I<00:26:12.348> would<00:26:12.509> actually<00:26:12.781> say<00:26:13.391> my<00:26:13.728> friend<00:26:14.289> Ryan<00:26:14.674> Long<00:26:15.717> was<00:26:15.893> probably<00:26:17.176> one<00:26:17.401> of<00:26:17.561> the<00:26:17.658> people<00:26:17.963> that<00:26:18.123> gave<00:26:18.299> me<00:26:18.460> such<00:26:18.861> a<00:26:18.925> huge<00:26:19.262> chance.

00:26:20.288 --> 00:26:26.833
He,<00:26:20.850> back<00:26:21.107> in<00:26:21.187> the<00:26:21.331> day,<00:26:21.909> he<00:26:22.069> and<00:26:22.133> his<00:26:22.374> dad<00:26:23.032> were<00:26:23.336> running<00:26:23.818> a<00:26:24.299> small<00:26:24.475> business<00:26:25.181> and<00:26:25.823> I<00:26:25.999> needed<00:26:26.400> a<00:26:26.545> job.

00:26:27.186 --> 00:26:39.096
I<00:26:27.346> was<00:26:28.725> like<00:26:29.270> out<00:26:29.462> of<00:26:29.671> work,<00:26:30.087> like<00:26:30.344> no,<00:26:31.610> no,<00:26:32.556> I<00:26:32.829> didn't<00:26:33.518> have<00:26:33.838> any<00:26:34.031> sort<00:26:34.416> of<00:26:34.880> job<00:26:35.281> history,<00:26:36.003> you<00:26:36.115> know,<00:26:36.339> that<00:26:36.499> was<00:26:36.804> any<00:26:36.996> sort<00:26:37.285> of<00:26:37.461> like<00:26:37.926> design<00:26:38.487> or<00:26:38.664> anything.

00:26:39.449 --> 00:26:46.534
And<00:26:40.411> he<00:26:40.667> was<00:26:40.828> a<00:26:40.908> developer<00:26:41.549> for<00:26:41.693> his<00:26:41.886> dad's<00:26:42.190> company<00:26:42.896> and<00:26:43.537> he<00:26:43.633> brought<00:26:43.857> me<00:26:44.018> on<00:26:44.595> to<00:26:44.739> help<00:26:45.476> be<00:26:45.637> a<00:26:45.653> little<00:26:45.957> designer.

00:26:46.743 --> 00:26:51.456
And<00:26:46.823> I<00:26:46.919> learned<00:26:47.160> a<00:26:47.304> little<00:26:47.480> bit<00:26:47.624> of<00:26:47.721> code<00:26:48.346> and<00:26:48.426> a<00:26:48.522> little<00:26:48.747> bit<00:26:48.907> of<00:26:49.243> development<00:26:49.949> and,<00:26:50.446> and<00:26:50.622> some<00:26:50.927> design.

00:26:51.632 --> 00:26:58.733
And<00:26:52.369> that<00:26:52.466> kind<00:26:52.754> of<00:26:52.786> catapulted<00:26:53.491> me<00:26:53.876> into,<00:26:54.758> you<00:26:54.790> know,<00:26:55.078> all<00:26:55.255> of<00:26:55.399> my<00:26:55.976> career<00:26:56.681> and<00:26:56.778> taught<00:26:57.018> me<00:26:57.098> a<00:26:57.162> lot<00:26:57.355> about<00:26:57.579> small<00:26:57.820> business<00:26:58.301> and<00:26:58.477> stuff.

00:26:58.926 --> 00:27:10.914
And,<00:26:59.327> um,<00:26:59.905> and<00:27:00.049> I<00:27:00.146> think<00:27:00.322> it<00:27:00.450> taught<00:27:00.707> me<00:27:00.932> also<00:27:01.590> about<00:27:01.895> my<00:27:02.216> own<00:27:02.457> voice,<00:27:02.954> you<00:27:03.050> know,<00:27:03.275> to<00:27:03.436> really<00:27:03.676> stand<00:27:04.013> on<00:27:04.077> my<00:27:04.238> own<00:27:04.382> two<00:27:04.559> feet<00:27:04.944> and<00:27:05.040> that<00:27:05.201> I<00:27:05.345> did<00:27:05.506> have<00:27:05.682> a<00:27:05.763> voice<00:27:06.244> because<00:27:06.629> my<00:27:06.790> friend<00:27:07.030> Ryan,<00:27:07.929> he's,<00:27:08.314> he<00:27:08.587> and<00:27:08.651> his<00:27:08.796> wife<00:27:08.988> are<00:27:09.053> still<00:27:09.550> our<00:27:09.678> best<00:27:09.919> friends<00:27:10.176> today<00:27:10.577> actually.

00:27:11.203 --> 00:27:15.649
And,<00:27:12.006> um,<00:27:12.262> but<00:27:12.423> my<00:27:12.583> friend<00:27:12.808> Ryan<00:27:13.209> always<00:27:13.530> treated<00:27:13.867> me<00:27:14.493> with<00:27:14.654> like<00:27:14.814> so<00:27:15.007> much<00:27:15.231> respect.

00:27:16.018 --> 00:27:17.879
And<00:27:16.130> so,<00:27:16.660> um,<00:27:17.254> it's<00:27:17.462> pretty<00:27:17.639> cool.

00:27:18.265 --> 00:27:19.051
That's<00:27:18.842> cool.

00:27:19.324 --> 00:27:19.902
That's<00:27:19.661> great.

00:27:19.966 --> 00:27:21.908

00:27:24.363 --> 00:27:26.000
Seriously,<00:27:24.636> it<00:27:24.700> means<00:27:24.909> a<00:27:24.941> lot<00:27:25.166> that<00:27:25.326> you,<00:27:25.503> that<00:27:25.647> you<00:27:25.743> came<00:27:25.904> on.
