Guest Setup

To ensure that our content is of high quality, we ask that all guests please follow the CEO.com audio and video standards.

Video

Camera Quality: Use a high-definition camera (webcam or built-in computer/laptop camera) for the best visual clarity.

Lighting: Ensure you are well-lit from the front. Natural light is great, but if not available, use a soft light source to illuminate your face evenly. Avoid lighting that will cause shadows.

Background: Choose a clean, uncluttered background. A neutral or professional setting is preferred. No blurred or green-screen backgrounds.

Dress Code: Wear solid colors or simple patterns. Avoid overly bright colors or busy patterns that may be distracting. But remember to be yourself.

Framing: Position the camera at eye level and ensure your face is centered in the frame, with your head and shoulders visible. Look at the camera as if it were the interviewers face.

Audio

Microphone Quality: Use a USB or XLR microphone for the best sound quality. Avoid using built-in computer/laptop or phone microphones.

Headphones: Headphones are optional. Should you choose to use headphones, please use headphones that prevent echo and improve audio clarity.

Recording Environment: Choose a quiet, well-insulated space. Avoid areas with background noise, such as traffic, voices, and loud noises.

Internet Connection: Ensure a stable internet connection (preferably wired) to minimize interruptions during the recording.

Test Your Audio: Conduct a soundcheck prior to the interview and adjust levels as needed.
