Dolphin Founder & CEO Bill O'Dowd
Bill O’Dowd founded Dolphin Entertainment in 1996, and it has since become an Emmy-nominated creator of television, digital, and feature film content. Now with over 250 employees, Dolphin’s collective of agencies, which specialize in public relations, influencer marketing, content creation, and talent booking, provide services to a diverse array of industries including film, television, music, fashion, gaming, hospitality and consumer products.
Bill also serves on the Leadership Council of United Way Worldwide since its inception in 2012 and on the Board of Trustees for United Way since 2023. For over 25 years, Bill has been an Adjunct Professor at the University of Miami, teaching film and television business to communications students. Mr. O’Dowd graduated with honors from Harvard Law School, has received a master’s degree in Modern European History from Creighton University, and was named 1st-Team Academic All-American by USA Today while an undergraduate at Creighton.
