DSG Global CEO Aileen Alexander

Aileen K. Alexander is the Chief Executive Officer of DSG (Diversified Search Group), the world’s largest woman-founded executive search firm. In this role, she leads global operations and oversees executive-level searches across industries ranging from technology and cybersecurity to consumer and nonprofit sectors. Previously, as Vice Chair, Aileen spearheaded the firm’s Global Corporate Practice, and she now extends her influence as a Global Board Member of AltoPartners, an international alliance of executive search firms.

Before joining DSG, Aileen was a Managing Partner at Korn Ferry, where she co-launched and led the Global Cybersecurity Practice while holding key leadership roles in the Philadelphia region and across various specialized practices. Her distinguished career also includes experience at Heidrick & Struggles, as well as work in international security and defense policy at the Department of Defense and the U.S. House of Representatives. A U.S. Army veteran and a recognized leader in talent management, Aileen leverages her expertise in risk management, leadership, and succession planning to drive innovation, growth, and inclusive cultures. She is the co-author, with DSG’s Founder and Chair Judee von Seldeneck, of the bestseller Deliberately Different: Fifty Years. Two Generations. Leading in a Changing World, a work that offers valuable insights into evolving leadership strategies and the future of executive search.

Aileen holds an MPP from Harvard University School of Government and a BA from The Johns Hopkins University. Her accomplishments have earned her numerous accolades, including the Women of Distinction Award, Power 101 Award, and Veterans of Influence in Business Honoree, and she has been featured in Barron’s, Bloomberg, Forbes, and Fortune. Beyond her executive roles, she contributes to her community through board memberships with NACD Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce’s CEO Council of Growth, the University City Science Center, and Villa Joseph Marie High School.
