Payscout Co-Founder & CEO Cleveland Brown

Cleveland Brown’s career began on the financial side of payments and technology while he worked at Union Bank of California in 1992. In 2008, Cleveland formed Payscout Ltd. International as an eCommerce payment gateway solution for banks abroad. Cleveland then founded Payscout LLC with Manpreet Singh in 2011, utilizing a payments model that blended domestic and global eCommerce merchant payment solutions.

Cleveland also serves as Board Chairman for CyberDyme. This spin-off company focuses on XR payments and Virtual Reality (VRCommerce). He is a Co-Founder and Board Chairman for Payverse, a fintech company that enables global commerce and payment acceptance for billions of international cardholders. Cleveland is also a Board Member of The Valley Economic Alliance (TVEA), a non-profit strategic public-private collaborative that brings leaders from business, education, community, and private organizations together to grow the living standards and economic success of the San Fernando Valley Region.

Cleveland received a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and has served on the Electronic Transactions Association’s ISO Practices and Risk, Fraud & Security Councils, Retail Technology Committee, and International Committees. Cleveland has been recognized far and wide for his accomplishments in the payments industry and continues to inspire.
