Prometeo Co-Founder & Co-CEO Ximena Aleman: How AI is reshaping financial infrastructure

Show notes

Two failed startups taught Ximena Aleman what Latin America actually needed

Prometeo connects more than 1,200 financial institutions across 11 countries through a single API. It is Latin America's largest open banking network. Two of the five largest banks in the world run on its infrastructure, and its backers and clients include JP Morgan, Citi, Santander, BBVA, PayPal Ventures, and Samsung Next. The company was bootstrapped for its first four years out of Montevideo, Uruguay, by three co-founders, one of whom studied journalism.

That one is Ximena Aleman, Prometeo's co-founder and co-CEO. On the CEO.com Podcast, she talked about the decade of failed products that led to the company, what AI agents mean for financial infrastructure, and why she thinks culture is something a startup exports.

Prometeo is her third fintech startup. The first, launched in 2015, was a digital wallet that ran account-to-account payments through WhatsApp. "At the time, it felt very avant-garde, almost sci-fi for fintech in Latin America," she said on the podcast. The second was a personal finance tool for micro-entrepreneurs, similar to Mint in the U.S. "It was a beautiful idea, but honestly, a very difficult business to monetize."

Both companies ran into the same problem. The region had no API infrastructure, and every bank integration had to be built by hand, country by country. In 2018, she and her co-founders quit building products on top of rails that didn't exist and started building the rails. "We always thought about Prometeo as this giant highway for financial information and transactions across financial institutions and countries in Latin America," she said.

Aleman has watched every wave of fintech in the region from the inside: lending first, then the financial inclusion era that produced Nubank, then payments companies like eBanx and Clip. "Eventually, we realized the real bottleneck wasn't just products. It was infrastructure," she said. Prometeo now sits under much of that activity, and since 2024 it has operated in the U.S., where its account validation product reaches every American bank through one integration.

The money came late and reluctantly. "Back in 2015 and 2016, the venture ecosystem in Uruguay wasn't very developed," Aleman said. "Most entrepreneurs were bootstrapping." When Prometeo's ambitions outgrew that, the company raised a pre-seed, a seed, and a round that closed in December 2023, announced the following month as a $13 million raise led by Antler Elevate. Bloomberg reported the round was oversubscribed after the company sought as much as $10 million.

Aleman puts total funding at about $20 million, a lean number for a company wiring together the banking systems of 11 countries. She told the CEO.com Podcast that macro uncertainty mostly shows up in fundraising, not in demand. When budgets tighten, companies want cheaper, more automated financial operations, which is what Prometeo sells.

Her days start before 6 a.m. She has six-year-old twins, and the morning workout is, in her words, "basically the only part of the day I fully control." Meetings run from 9 to 6:30, then family time, then, depending on the time zones in play across Latin America and the U.S., Slack and WhatsApp until 10.

Prometeo has been remote-first since day one, years before COVID forced the question, and every November the entire company flies to Uruguay for an onsite week. Aleman measures culture by what leaves the building. "When someone leaves Prometeo, they carry part of our culture with them into whatever company they join next," she said. "You pay culture forward."

The current bet is agentic finance. Prometeo launched an MCP that lets AI agents access financial institutions, accounts, payments, and receivables in real time, on the theory that agents will need the same standardized rails that fintechs did. Aleman is blunt about the constraint: "Trust is the core currency of financial services." So Prometeo does not hand agents the keys. Companies grant them access to specific accounts and payment environments with defined limits on what they can and cannot do.

Regulators and the industry have started pulling the company into the room. Prometeo joined the Financial Data and Technology Association in January 2026, and in March, Nacha named Aleman one of its 15 Under 40 in Payments. She has argued in American Banker that the U.S. is well behind other countries on open banking and should look to Brazil as its model.

Every CEO.com Podcast conversation ends with the same question, built on the belief that the chances one gives are just as important as the chances one takes: who gave you a chance?

Aleman named her co-founders. "My background wasn't traditional for fintech at all. I studied journalism, not investment banking or engineering," she said. "They really believed in my ability to learn, adapt, persevere, and build." Then the first institutional check, from FJ Labs and Colonial Ventures. Then Interbank in Peru, the first financial institution willing to trust its infrastructure to a bootstrapped startup from Montevideo.

00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:06.840
Ximena,<00:00:00.465> welcome<00:00:00.929> to<00:00:01.394> the<00:00:01.858> show.<00:00:02.323> You<00:00:02.788> are<00:00:03.252> the<00:00:03.717> co-founder<00:00:04.182> and<00:00:04.646> co-CEO<00:00:05.111> of<00:00:05.575> Prometeo,<00:00:06.040> right?

00:00:06.840 --> 00:00:12.600
Yes.<00:00:07.480> Yes.<00:00:07.840> Tell<00:00:08.000> me<00:00:09.000> what<00:00:09.240> it<00:00:09.400> is,<00:00:09.680> how<00:00:09.840> you<00:00:10.000> became<00:00:10.760> the<00:00:11.080> co-founder<00:00:11.680> and<00:00:11.800> co-CEO.

00:00:12.600 --> 00:00:15.800
I<00:00:12.640> want<00:00:12.800> to<00:00:12.880> know<00:00:13.040> everything<00:00:13.360> about<00:00:13.680> you.<00:00:13.800> I've<00:00:13.880> been<00:00:14.040> so<00:00:14.200> excited<00:00:14.560> to<00:00:14.640> talk<00:00:14.920> to<00:00:15.000> you.

00:00:15.800 --> 00:00:19.560
Give<00:00:15.960> me<00:00:16.120> a<00:00:16.200> sense<00:00:16.560> for<00:00:17.480> how<00:00:17.680> you<00:00:17.800> got<00:00:18.040> here.

00:00:19.560 --> 00:00:22.880
Okay.<00:00:20.920> So,<00:00:21.600> I'm<00:00:22.040> Uruguayan.

00:00:22.880 --> 00:00:30.120
I<00:00:22.960> live<00:00:23.160> in<00:00:23.400> Uruguay,<00:00:23.920> in<00:00:24.000> South<00:00:24.200> America.<00:00:25.560> I<00:00:25.640> have<00:00:25.840> a<00:00:26.200> I<00:00:26.280> have<00:00:26.440> been<00:00:26.720> a<00:00:26.840> fintech<00:00:27.200> entrepreneur<00:00:27.720> for<00:00:27.960> almost<00:00:28.480> 10<00:00:28.680> years<00:00:28.880> now.

00:00:30.120 --> 00:00:33.640
Actually,<00:00:30.440> Prometeo<00:00:30.920> is<00:00:31.120> my<00:00:31.280> third<00:00:31.920> fintech<00:00:32.279> startup.

00:00:33.640 --> 00:00:39.240
I<00:00:33.760> started<00:00:34.160> building<00:00:34.600> in<00:00:35.440> 2015,<00:00:37.520> like<00:00:37.680> a<00:00:37.720> digital<00:00:38.120> wallet.

00:00:39.240 --> 00:00:45.000
We<00:00:39.440> were<00:00:39.680> providing<00:00:41.280> account-to-account<00:00:42.520> transfers<00:00:43.200> or<00:00:43.360> payments<00:00:43.880> through<00:00:44.080> WhatsApp.

00:00:45.000 --> 00:00:53.840
It<00:00:45.120> was<00:00:45.280> pretty<00:00:45.520> avant-garde,<00:00:46.240> you<00:00:46.320> know,<00:00:46.520> a<00:00:46.560> little<00:00:46.800> bit<00:00:47.080> sci-fi<00:00:47.800> on<00:00:47.960> the<00:00:48.680> on<00:00:48.840> the<00:00:48.960> sci-fi<00:00:50.200> side<00:00:50.560> of<00:00:50.760> things<00:00:51.240> in<00:00:51.520> in<00:00:51.680> fintech<00:00:52.080> in<00:00:52.160> LatAm.

00:00:53.840 --> 00:01:00.720
Then,<00:00:54.240> I<00:00:54.400> went<00:00:54.640> on<00:00:54.800> to<00:00:55.120> build<00:00:55.400> with<00:00:55.640> my<00:00:55.880> co-founders<00:00:57.120> PFM,<00:00:57.840> similar<00:00:58.200> to<00:00:58.360> Mint<00:00:59.240> or<00:00:59.560> what<00:00:59.800> you<00:00:59.880> use<00:01:00.000> Oh,<00:01:00.200> yeah,<00:01:00.360> yeah.

00:01:00.720 --> 00:01:07.880
in<00:01:00.880> the<00:01:01.000> USA.<00:01:02.680> So,<00:01:02.880> it<00:01:03.040> was<00:01:03.240> like<00:01:03.440> a<00:01:03.480> single<00:01:03.760> point<00:01:03.960> of<00:01:04.080> access<00:01:04.559> to<00:01:04.760> financial<00:01:05.199> information<00:01:06.000> for<00:01:06.200> micro-entrepreneurs<00:01:07.040> in<00:01:07.120> Latin<00:01:07.360> America.

00:01:07.880 --> 00:01:12.880
It<00:01:08.000> was<00:01:08.160> a<00:01:08.280> lovely<00:01:08.640> idea.<00:01:09.520> It<00:01:09.640> was<00:01:09.760> a<00:01:09.840> very<00:01:10.080> hard<00:01:10.760> business<00:01:11.280> to<00:01:11.680> to<00:01:11.800> monetize.

00:01:12.880 --> 00:01:22.280
Um<00:01:13.960> And<00:01:14.200> so,<00:01:14.880> by<00:01:15.120> having<00:01:15.480> like<00:01:15.720> these<00:01:15.920> two<00:01:16.080> experiences,<00:01:17.840> me<00:01:18.000> and<00:01:18.120> my<00:01:18.200> co-founders,<00:01:18.800> we<00:01:18.960> understood<00:01:19.720> the<00:01:19.840> lack<00:01:20.320> of<00:01:20.560> API<00:01:21.160> infrastructure

00:01:22.280 --> 00:01:28.000
in<00:01:22.400> the<00:01:22.480> region<00:01:23.280> and<00:01:23.520> how<00:01:23.800> this<00:01:24.160> was<00:01:24.440> sort<00:01:24.640> of<00:01:24.760> a<00:01:24.840> bottleneck<00:01:25.520> for<00:01:25.680> fintech<00:01:26.080> disruption,<00:01:26.920> okay?

00:01:28.000 --> 00:01:37.360
Because<00:01:28.400> we<00:01:28.520> knew<00:01:28.800> how<00:01:28.960> to<00:01:29.080> build<00:01:29.520> like<00:01:29.760> this<00:01:30.000> powerful<00:01:30.480> tech,<00:01:31.040> we<00:01:31.160> decided<00:01:31.760> to<00:01:32.040> pivot<00:01:33.320> from<00:01:33.600> that<00:01:34.040> startup<00:01:34.640> to<00:01:35.080> what<00:01:35.360> later<00:01:35.680> became<00:01:36.280> Prometeo.

00:01:37.360 --> 00:01:45.880
And<00:01:37.800> so,<00:01:38.080> basically,<00:01:38.720> what<00:01:38.920> Prometeo<00:01:40.440> is<00:01:40.880> and<00:01:41.160> what<00:01:42.240> how<00:01:42.400> we<00:01:42.680> always<00:01:43.120> thought<00:01:43.400> about<00:01:43.760> it<00:01:44.000> is<00:01:44.040> like<00:01:44.240> a<00:01:44.320> huge<00:01:44.680> highway<00:01:45.240> of<00:01:45.440> financial

00:01:45.880 --> 00:01:55.000
information<00:01:46.440> transactions<00:01:47.240> across<00:01:47.680> different<00:01:48.120> financial<00:01:48.560> institutions<00:01:49.640> and<00:01:49.760> different<00:01:50.040> countries<00:01:50.640> in<00:01:50.760> LatAm,<00:01:51.240> like<00:01:51.480> a<00:01:51.560> single<00:01:51.960> point<00:01:52.360> of<00:01:52.560> access<00:01:53.200> to<00:01:53.360> all<00:01:53.600> of<00:01:53.720> these

00:01:55.000 --> 00:01:58.600
of<00:01:55.440> all<00:01:55.600> of<00:01:55.720> these<00:01:56.160> network<00:01:56.880> of<00:01:57.120> financial<00:01:57.640> institutions.

00:01:58.600 --> 00:02:05.440
And<00:01:58.960> we've<00:01:59.360> created<00:02:00.000> over<00:02:00.480> like<00:02:01.280> 5<00:02:01.560> years,<00:02:01.920> we've<00:02:02.120> created<00:02:02.480> the<00:02:02.560> largest<00:02:03.000> open<00:02:03.200> banking<00:02:03.600> network<00:02:04.200> in<00:02:04.600> in<00:02:04.680> the<00:02:04.760> region.

00:02:05.440 --> 00:02:09.759
We<00:02:05.600> are<00:02:05.680> aggregating<00:02:06.440> more<00:02:06.640> than<00:02:07.080> 1,200

00:02:09.759 --> 00:02:18.480
financial<00:02:10.200> institutions<00:02:11.040> in<00:02:11.160> 11<00:02:11.480> countries<00:02:13.000> of<00:02:13.440> Well,<00:02:13.959> right<00:02:14.160> now<00:02:14.360> the<00:02:14.480> Americas<00:02:15.080> because<00:02:15.640> since<00:02:15.959> last<00:02:16.240> year,<00:02:16.720> we<00:02:16.880> are<00:02:17.000> also<00:02:17.360> providing<00:02:17.840> services

00:02:18.480 --> 00:02:22.680
in<00:02:18.760> the<00:02:18.880> US.<00:02:19.640> We<00:02:19.760> provide<00:02:20.120> account<00:02:20.440> verification.

00:02:22.680 --> 00:02:28.080
That<00:02:22.800> is<00:02:23.160> So,<00:02:23.400> give<00:02:23.560> me<00:02:23.680> a<00:02:23.720> sense<00:02:23.920> of<00:02:24.000> what<00:02:24.160> the<00:02:24.240> fintech<00:02:24.840> ecosystem<00:02:25.400> is<00:02:25.520> like<00:02:25.800> in<00:02:25.920> Latin<00:02:26.120> America.

00:02:28.080 --> 00:02:35.000
Well,<00:02:29.360> it's<00:02:31.280> Well,<00:02:31.880> it's<00:02:32.040> a<00:02:32.080> very<00:02:32.320> active<00:02:33.080> fintech<00:02:33.440> ecosystem,<00:02:34.040> you<00:02:34.160> know.

00:02:35.000 --> 00:02:43.480
I<00:02:35.160> always<00:02:37.160> I<00:02:37.240> feel<00:02:37.480> sort<00:02:37.720> of<00:02:37.840> a<00:02:37.880> veteran<00:02:39.120> in<00:02:39.280> the<00:02:39.400> fintech<00:02:39.800> space,<00:02:40.440> you<00:02:40.560> know,<00:02:41.920> because<00:02:43.160> like

having<00:02:43.800> worked<00:02:44.080> for<00:02:44.360> 10<00:02:44.680> years<00:02:45.680> like<00:02:46.320> in<00:02:46.520> this<00:02:46.760> space,<00:02:47.920> I<00:02:47.959> have<00:02:48.120> been<00:02:48.280> able<00:02:48.520> to<00:02:48.680> witness<00:02:49.320> several<00:02:49.760> waves<00:02:50.360> of<00:02:50.680> what<00:02:50.959> fintech<00:02:51.600> looks

00:02:51.920 --> 00:03:01.880
like<00:02:52.400> in<00:02:52.520> Latin<00:02:52.760> America,<00:02:53.160> you<00:02:53.240> know.<00:02:54.200> And<00:02:54.360> I<00:02:54.440> think<00:02:54.680> like<00:02:55.080> early<00:02:55.440> on<00:02:55.760> when<00:02:56.040> when<00:02:56.360> fintech<00:02:57.480> started<00:02:58.040> to<00:02:58.120> be<00:02:58.280> a<00:02:58.360> thing,<00:02:58.959> you<00:02:59.080> know,<00:02:59.400> in<00:02:59.680> in<00:02:59.800> the<00:02:59.880> region,<00:03:01.120> um

00:03:01.880 --> 00:03:10.959
everything<00:03:02.280> was<00:03:02.480> about<00:03:03.040> enabling<00:03:03.720> lending,<00:03:04.600> you<00:03:04.720> know,<00:03:05.040> access<00:03:05.519> to<00:03:05.680> lending<00:03:06.360> for<00:03:08.200> small<00:03:08.480> and<00:03:08.560> medium<00:03:08.880> companies,<00:03:09.959> for

00:03:10.959 --> 00:03:19.600
people,<00:03:11.480> you<00:03:11.600> know,<00:03:11.840> across<00:03:12.280> LatAm.<00:03:13.160> And<00:03:13.800> then<00:03:14.080> it<00:03:14.280> became<00:03:14.720> like<00:03:15.040> a<00:03:15.400> a<00:03:15.480> lot<00:03:15.880> about<00:03:16.519> financial<00:03:16.920> inclusion,<00:03:17.519> you<00:03:17.640> know,<00:03:17.880> like<00:03:19.040> big

00:03:19.600 --> 00:03:24.680
huge<00:03:20.160> IPO'd<00:03:20.760> companies<00:03:21.360> like<00:03:22.239> Nubank,<00:03:22.760> for<00:03:22.920> instance,<00:03:23.400> they<00:03:23.519> were<00:03:23.720> building<00:03:24.120> this,<00:03:24.440> you<00:03:24.519> know.

00:03:24.680 --> 00:03:34.160
And<00:03:24.800> I<00:03:24.840> would<00:03:24.959> say<00:03:25.239> what<00:03:25.880> what<00:03:26.200> is<00:03:26.400> now<00:03:26.720> sort<00:03:27.040> of<00:03:28.440> legacy<00:03:28.920> fintech<00:03:29.640> in<00:03:29.800> LatAm,<00:03:31.000> like<00:03:31.280> the<00:03:31.400> huge<00:03:32.000> fintechs<00:03:32.640> are<00:03:32.880> mostly

00:03:34.160 --> 00:03:39.519
well<00:03:34.400> known<00:03:34.720> because<00:03:35.239> of<00:03:35.600> like<00:03:35.880> their<00:03:36.239> their<00:03:36.920> their<00:03:37.120> power<00:03:37.720> building<00:03:38.280> financial<00:03:38.720> inclusion.

00:03:39.519 --> 00:03:47.640
And<00:03:39.640> so,<00:03:39.760> you<00:03:39.880> have<00:03:40.080> Nubank<00:03:40.800> in<00:03:41.000> in<00:03:41.120> Brazil,<00:03:41.560> but<00:03:41.760> of<00:03:41.880> course,<00:03:42.400> you<00:03:42.560> have<00:03:42.959> Kueski<00:03:43.519> and<00:03:43.680> Konfio<00:03:44.400> that<00:03:44.519> are<00:03:44.959> big<00:03:45.480> lending<00:03:46.040> fintechs<00:03:46.519> in<00:03:46.640> Mexico.

00:03:47.640 --> 00:03:56.960
Um<00:03:48.200> and<00:03:48.320> then<00:03:48.440> I<00:03:48.519> think<00:03:48.760> that<00:03:49.760> um<00:03:50.480> after<00:03:50.760> like<00:03:50.959> these<00:03:51.239> two<00:03:51.400> waves,<00:03:52.040> it<00:03:52.200> became<00:03:52.680> sort<00:03:53.000> of<00:03:53.360> obvious<00:03:54.800> that<00:03:55.040> payments<00:03:56.640> needed

Give<00:05:33.400> me<00:05:33.520> a<00:05:33.600> sense<00:05:34.000> for<00:05:34.600> how<00:05:35.200> AI<00:05:35.680> is<00:05:35.880> changing<00:05:36.280> all<00:05:36.480> this<00:05:36.760> and<00:05:36.880> I<00:05:36.919> know<00:05:37.200> that<00:05:37.680> Prometeo<00:05:38.320> just<00:05:38.720> recently<00:05:39.240> announced<00:05:39.760> something<00:05:40.120> along<00:05:40.480> this<00:05:40.680> lines<00:05:40.960> with<00:05:41.200> AI<00:05:41.560> and

00:05:41.720 --> 00:05:44.120
agents.<00:05:42.680> How<00:05:42.840> are<00:05:42.960> you<00:05:43.080> thinking<00:05:43.480> about<00:05:43.720> AI?

00:05:44.120 --> 00:05:49.560
How<00:05:44.320> are<00:05:44.440> you<00:05:44.600> integrating<00:05:45.200> it<00:05:45.320> into<00:05:45.480> your<00:05:45.640> product<00:05:46.360> and<00:05:46.720> just<00:05:47.080> oh<00:05:47.240> generally<00:05:47.840> how's<00:05:48.080> it<00:05:48.160> affecting<00:05:48.680> fintech?

00:05:49.560 --> 00:05:58.720
Yeah.<00:05:50.120> Okay,<00:05:50.400> so<00:05:50.680> I<00:05:50.760> think<00:05:51.000> that<00:05:51.920> we<00:05:52.040> are<00:05:52.280> at<00:05:52.440> a<00:05:52.480> point<00:05:53.000> in<00:05:53.400> which<00:05:55.360> of<00:05:55.480> course<00:05:55.880> AI<00:05:56.160> became<00:05:56.560> obvious,<00:05:57.200> you<00:05:57.280> know.

00:05:58.720 --> 00:06:05.800
But<00:05:59.152> I<00:05:59.584> think<00:06:00.016> that<00:06:00.448> still<00:06:00.880> it<00:06:01.312> needs<00:06:01.744> to<00:06:02.176> be<00:06:02.608> proven<00:06:03.040> in<00:06:03.472> the<00:06:03.904> financial<00:06:04.336> sector,<00:06:04.768> you<00:06:05.200> know.

00:06:05.800 --> 00:06:14.560
So<00:06:05.920> I<00:06:06.000> think<00:06:06.240> that<00:06:07.640> little<00:06:07.920> by<00:06:08.080> little<00:06:09.800> financial<00:06:10.240> institutions<00:06:11.120> are<00:06:11.400> trying<00:06:11.760> to<00:06:11.920> react<00:06:12.760> to<00:06:13.000> this<00:06:13.560> AI<00:06:14.000> wave,

00:06:14.560 --> 00:06:22.760
you<00:06:14.720> know,<00:06:15.240> and<00:06:15.400> see<00:06:15.600> how<00:06:15.800> they<00:06:15.920> can<00:06:16.160> position<00:06:16.760> themselves,<00:06:17.520> you<00:06:17.600> know,<00:06:17.800> and<00:06:18.040> see<00:06:18.520> how<00:06:18.640> they<00:06:18.800> can<00:06:19.000> adopt<00:06:19.440> like<00:06:19.680> this<00:06:19.880> new<00:06:20.040> technology<00:06:20.960> into<00:06:21.560> their<00:06:21.720> legacy<00:06:22.120> flows,<00:06:22.680> you

00:06:22.760 --> 00:06:31.240

00:06:31.240 --> 00:06:40.160
us<00:06:31.760> the<00:06:31.840> most<00:06:32.720> is<00:06:32.919> to<00:06:33.080> see<00:06:33.440> how<00:06:34.040> we<00:06:34.280> can<00:06:35.000> empower<00:06:36.040> our<00:06:36.360> customers<00:06:37.120> with<00:06:37.400> new<00:06:38.080> products<00:06:38.520> and<00:06:38.680> services<00:06:39.640> using

00:06:40.160 --> 00:06:48.680
AI,<00:06:40.560> you<00:06:40.680> know.<00:06:41.240> And<00:06:41.560> so<00:06:41.680> something<00:06:42.160> that<00:06:42.880> we<00:06:43.800> we've<00:06:44.040> seen<00:06:44.560> over<00:06:45.240> over<00:06:45.840> well<00:06:46.320> these<00:06:46.520> years<00:06:47.320> in<00:06:47.560> the<00:06:47.680> financial<00:06:48.120> space<00:06:48.480> in

00:06:48.680 --> 00:06:57.080
in<00:06:48.800> LatAm<00:06:49.480> is<00:06:49.680> that<00:06:49.919> still<00:06:50.280> financial<00:06:50.720> institutions<00:06:51.640> are<00:06:51.760> struggling<00:06:52.560> with<00:06:53.480> digital<00:06:54.080> transformation,<00:06:55.000> apification,<00:06:55.880> open<00:06:56.120> banking,<00:06:56.800> things

00:06:57.080 --> 00:07:03.400
that<00:06:57.240> perhaps<00:06:57.600> in<00:06:57.720> Europe<00:06:58.200> have<00:06:58.360> been<00:06:58.600> already<00:06:59.200> solved<00:07:00.360> or<00:07:00.560> in<00:07:00.680> Brazil<00:07:01.240> for<00:07:01.480> instance<00:07:01.960> have<00:07:02.200> been<00:07:02.440> already<00:07:02.760> solved.

00:07:03.400 --> 00:07:07.880
In<00:07:03.520> the<00:07:03.680> rest<00:07:04.040> of<00:07:04.240> Latin<00:07:04.520> America<00:07:05.600> they're<00:07:05.760> still<00:07:06.200> like<00:07:06.520> a<00:07:06.640> problem,<00:07:07.240> you<00:07:07.320> know.

00:07:07.880 --> 00:07:16.919
And<00:07:08.280> so<00:07:08.919> we<00:07:09.040> think<00:07:09.240> that<00:07:09.440> at<00:07:09.600> Prometeo<00:07:10.160> because<00:07:10.640> we<00:07:10.880> already<00:07:11.280> have<00:07:11.560> this<00:07:11.720> network,<00:07:12.280> we<00:07:12.440> are<00:07:12.880> uniquely<00:07:13.480> positioned<00:07:14.600> to<00:07:15.040> provide<00:07:15.600> the<00:07:16.040> infrastructure

00:07:16.919 --> 00:07:20.560
for<00:07:17.120> agents.<00:07:17.960> And<00:07:18.120> that's<00:07:18.360> why<00:07:18.720> we've<00:07:18.960> launched<00:07:19.320> our<00:07:19.560> MCP.

00:07:20.560 --> 00:07:28.880
And<00:07:20.720> so<00:07:20.880> right<00:07:21.080> now<00:07:22.160> we<00:07:22.360> are<00:07:22.600> enabling<00:07:23.880> real<00:07:24.640> access<00:07:25.200> to<00:07:25.520> financial<00:07:26.280> institutions,<00:07:26.880> real<00:07:27.120> access<00:07:27.480> to<00:07:27.880> bank<00:07:28.120> accounts,<00:07:28.720> to

00:07:28.880 --> 00:07:38.120
payments,<00:07:29.840> to<00:07:30.080> automate<00:07:30.560> receivables<00:07:31.800> for<00:07:32.160> agents<00:07:32.720> so<00:07:32.880> they<00:07:33.040> can<00:07:33.240> perform<00:07:33.800> real<00:07:34.200> operations<00:07:35.000> through<00:07:35.360> our<00:07:35.600> infrastructure.

00:07:38.120 --> 00:07:43.640
So<00:07:38.760> AI<00:07:39.160> is<00:07:39.720> incredible<00:07:40.520> and<00:07:40.640> it<00:07:40.760> can<00:07:40.880> do<00:07:41.080> all<00:07:41.240> sorts<00:07:41.600> of<00:07:41.960> incredible<00:07:42.480> things.

00:07:43.640 --> 00:07:52.120
But<00:07:44.040> from<00:07:44.240> a<00:07:44.280> fintech<00:07:44.920> and<00:07:45.160> regulatory<00:07:45.880> standpoint<00:07:46.480> and<00:07:46.600> just<00:07:46.840> safety<00:07:47.360> and<00:07:47.520> governance<00:07:48.040> and<00:07:48.200> like<00:07:48.920> uh<00:07:49.000> security,<00:07:50.320> how<00:07:50.440> do<00:07:50.560> you<00:07:50.680> think<00:07:50.920> about<00:07:51.240> it<00:07:51.400> there?

00:07:52.120 --> 00:08:00.840
And<00:07:52.800> is<00:07:53.000> there<00:07:53.200> there's<00:07:53.440> almost<00:07:53.680> like<00:07:53.840> an<00:07:53.920> extra<00:07:54.320> layer<00:07:54.720> that<00:07:55.040> a<00:07:55.120> fintech<00:07:55.640> company<00:07:55.960> would<00:07:56.080> have<00:07:56.240> to<00:07:56.360> deal<00:07:56.520> with<00:07:56.680> AI<00:07:57.800> versus<00:07:58.680> like<00:07:59.280> a<00:07:59.480> consumer<00:08:00.240> product

00:08:00.840 --> 00:08:07.040
I'm<00:08:00.960> not<00:08:01.120> sure,<00:08:01.360> you<00:08:01.440> know,<00:08:01.600> like<00:08:01.880> but<00:08:02.440> fintech<00:08:03.000> because<00:08:03.640> it's<00:08:03.920> we're<00:08:04.040> dealing<00:08:04.400> with<00:08:04.760> something<00:08:05.240> you<00:08:05.360> know,<00:08:05.480> one<00:08:05.600> of<00:08:05.640> the<00:08:05.720> most<00:08:05.880> precious<00:08:06.240> things<00:08:06.440> that<00:08:06.560> really<00:08:06.720> people's

00:08:07.040 --> 00:08:12.320
money.<00:08:08.360> Right?<00:08:09.200> There<00:08:09.520> is<00:08:09.800> like<00:08:10.000> this<00:08:10.480> these<00:08:10.680> extra<00:08:11.000> guardrails<00:08:11.720> I<00:08:11.840> assume.

00:08:12.320 --> 00:08:20.320
So<00:08:12.480> how<00:08:12.640> do<00:08:12.760> you<00:08:12.880> think<00:08:13.080> about<00:08:13.320> like<00:08:13.480> this<00:08:13.680> security<00:08:15.280> of<00:08:15.720> all<00:08:15.919> of<00:08:16.040> that<00:08:16.400> and<00:08:16.640> and<00:08:16.880> integrating<00:08:17.440> that<00:08:17.680> with<00:08:17.800> the<00:08:17.960> AI<00:08:18.320> and<00:08:18.720> and<00:08:18.840> everything<00:08:19.200> else<00:08:19.400> that<00:08:19.560> you<00:08:19.640> do?

00:08:20.320 --> 00:08:30.040
Yeah.<00:08:20.880> No,<00:08:21.240> definitely<00:08:21.880> and<00:08:22.280> I<00:08:22.360> think<00:08:22.600> that<00:08:23.400> for<00:08:23.640> sure<00:08:24.560> how<00:08:25.560> we<00:08:25.760> keep<00:08:26.400> like<00:08:27.320> things<00:08:27.720> safe<00:08:28.800> it's

00:08:30.040 --> 00:08:38.680
like<00:08:30.919> very<00:08:31.160> very<00:08:31.320> important,<00:08:31.880> you<00:08:31.960> know,<00:08:32.120> like<00:08:32.840> something<00:08:33.159> that<00:08:33.560> we<00:08:34.240> we<00:08:34.400> are<00:08:34.520> proud<00:08:35.039> about<00:08:35.560> in<00:08:35.680> in<00:08:35.840> Prometeo<00:08:36.479> is<00:08:37.440> how<00:08:38.159> safe

00:08:38.680 --> 00:08:47.120
and<00:08:38.880> compliant<00:08:39.640> our<00:08:40.039> infrastructure<00:08:40.640> is,<00:08:40.840> you<00:08:40.919> know,<00:08:41.120> and<00:08:41.240> that's<00:08:41.479> what<00:08:41.880> enable<00:08:42.919> large<00:08:44.240> uh<00:08:44.760> financial<00:08:45.240> institutions<00:08:45.920> to<00:08:46.040> operate<00:08:46.560> over<00:08:46.920> our

00:08:47.120 --> 00:08:55.360
infrastructure,<00:08:47.839> you<00:08:47.960> know,<00:08:48.120> like<00:08:48.600> I<00:08:48.680> could<00:08:48.800> say<00:08:49.000> that<00:08:49.440> when<00:08:49.560> you<00:08:49.640> talk<00:08:49.800> about<00:08:50.080> money,<00:08:50.440> you<00:08:50.560> talk<00:08:50.720> about<00:08:50.960> trust,<00:08:51.600> you<00:08:51.680> know,<00:08:52.000> and<00:08:52.200> so<00:08:52.720> being<00:08:52.960> able<00:08:53.200> to<00:08:53.320> be<00:08:53.440> trust<00:08:54.560> trusted

00:08:55.360 --> 00:08:57.800
is<00:08:55.720> is<00:08:55.920> capital<00:08:56.440> in<00:08:56.600> financial<00:08:56.960> services.

00:08:57.800 --> 00:09:03.680
Um<00:08:58.320> so<00:08:58.440> I<00:08:58.480> think<00:08:58.680> that<00:08:58.920> there<00:08:59.040> are<00:08:59.160> two<00:08:59.320> ways<00:08:59.839> in<00:09:00.080> which<00:09:00.480> uh<00:09:01.240> we<00:09:01.920> we<00:09:02.120> are<00:09:02.400> we<00:09:02.600> are<00:09:02.680> approaching<00:09:03.120> this.

00:09:03.680 --> 00:09:11.880
Um<00:09:04.040> the<00:09:04.160> first<00:09:04.400> one<00:09:04.600> is<00:09:04.880> of<00:09:05.040> course<00:09:06.000> our<00:09:06.240> infrastructure<00:09:08.240> before<00:09:09.000> AI<00:09:09.680> was<00:09:10.040> compliant<00:09:10.760> and<00:09:10.960> safe,<00:09:11.360> you<00:09:11.480> know,<00:09:11.720> and

00:09:11.880 --> 00:09:21.640
so<00:09:12.080> like<00:09:12.520> whatever<00:09:13.200> runs<00:09:13.680> over<00:09:14.080> AI<00:09:14.680> runs<00:09:15.120> over<00:09:15.360> an<00:09:15.440> infrastructure<00:09:16.040> that<00:09:16.320> has<00:09:16.520> been<00:09:16.680> already<00:09:17.440> designed<00:09:18.480> and<00:09:19.360> and<00:09:21.040> designed

00:09:21.640 --> 00:09:25.720
since<00:09:21.920> day<00:09:22.120> one<00:09:22.600> to<00:09:22.760> be<00:09:22.880> compliant<00:09:23.560> and<00:09:23.720> safe<00:09:24.080> for<00:09:24.280> financial<00:09:24.640> institutions.

00:09:25.720 --> 00:09:33.880
Uh<00:09:25.960> but<00:09:26.120> then<00:09:26.440> I<00:09:26.520> would<00:09:26.680> say<00:09:26.839> that<00:09:27.120> the<00:09:27.320> the<00:09:27.440> second<00:09:27.800> part<00:09:28.160> of<00:09:28.320> it<00:09:29.080> is<00:09:30.240> uh<00:09:31.120> what<00:09:31.400> we<00:09:31.600> are<00:09:31.720> building<00:09:32.320> is<00:09:32.640> an<00:09:32.800> infrastructure<00:09:33.560> that<00:09:33.720> is

00:09:33.880 --> 00:09:36.640
segmented<00:09:34.760> for<00:09:35.200> agents,<00:09:36.000> you<00:09:36.080> know?

00:09:36.640 --> 00:09:44.320
And<00:09:36.760> so<00:09:37.080> it's<00:09:37.240> not<00:09:37.480> that<00:09:37.880> we<00:09:38.160> are<00:09:38.520> enabling<00:09:39.520> an<00:09:39.680> agent<00:09:40.160> to<00:09:40.280> operate<00:09:40.960> over

00:09:44.320 --> 00:09:53.320
all<00:09:44.720> the<00:09:44.840> bank<00:09:45.080> accounts<00:09:45.600> or<00:09:46.000> all<00:09:46.480> all<00:09:46.520> like<00:09:46.920> giving<00:09:47.320> access<00:09:47.720> to<00:09:47.880> everything<00:09:49.080> that<00:09:49.480> a<00:09:49.560> company<00:09:50.120> has<00:09:50.640> within<00:09:51.240> our<00:09:52.280> our<00:09:52.520> network,

00:09:53.320 --> 00:10:02.520
but<00:09:53.560> what<00:09:53.760> we<00:09:54.240> are<00:09:54.360> enabling<00:09:55.040> is<00:09:55.280> the<00:09:55.400> creation<00:09:56.400> of<00:09:57.400> bank<00:09:57.560> accounts<00:09:58.520> that<00:09:58.760> can<00:09:58.960> make<00:09:59.200> payments<00:09:59.640> and<00:09:59.760> receive<00:10:00.080> payments<00:10:02.280> for

00:10:02.520 --> 00:10:11.160
agents,<00:10:03.360> you<00:10:03.440> know?<00:10:03.760> And<00:10:03.960> so,<00:10:04.280> it's<00:10:04.520> not<00:10:04.760> that<00:10:05.080> the<00:10:05.280> agent<00:10:05.600> has<00:10:05.840> access<00:10:06.160> to<00:10:06.560> all<00:10:07.080> of<00:10:07.600> your<00:10:07.840> financial<00:10:08.680> power,<00:10:09.640> but<00:10:10.080> that<00:10:10.280> you<00:10:10.400> are<00:10:10.560> granting

00:10:11.160 --> 00:10:19.640
access<00:10:11.680> to<00:10:11.800> that<00:10:12.080> agent<00:10:12.440> to<00:10:12.560> a<00:10:12.680> certain<00:10:13.120> bank<00:10:13.320> account<00:10:14.120> that<00:10:14.280> can<00:10:14.440> be<00:10:14.640> operated<00:10:16.240> for<00:10:16.520> that<00:10:18.160> for<00:10:18.760> that<00:10:19.080> agent<00:10:19.400> can't

00:10:19.640 --> 00:10:27.200
operate<00:10:20.040> it,<00:10:20.360> you<00:10:20.480> know?<00:10:20.960> And<00:10:21.080> so,<00:10:21.640> somehow<00:10:22.000> you<00:10:22.200> are<00:10:22.280> limiting<00:10:22.760> the<00:10:22.880> risk<00:10:24.280> of<00:10:24.560> access<00:10:25.880> of<00:10:26.080> the<00:10:26.240> agent,<00:10:26.840> you<00:10:26.920> know?

00:10:27.200 --> 00:10:31.280
And<00:10:27.680> I<00:10:27.760> think<00:10:28.000> that<00:10:28.200> that's<00:10:28.640> a<00:10:29.120> of<00:10:29.240> course<00:10:29.520> a<00:10:29.600> first<00:10:29.920> iteration,<00:10:30.680> you<00:10:30.800> know?

00:10:31.280 --> 00:10:36.440
A<00:10:31.360> first<00:10:31.760> iteration<00:10:32.520> of<00:10:32.800> how<00:10:33.040> this<00:10:33.360> access<00:10:34.120> can<00:10:34.280> look<00:10:34.480> like.

00:10:36.440 --> 00:10:39.520
How<00:10:36.560> do<00:10:36.680> you<00:10:36.800> think<00:10:37.040> about<00:10:37.800> uh<00:10:38.200> cryptocurrencies?

00:10:39.520 --> 00:10:43.000
And<00:10:40.000> what<00:10:40.120> is<00:10:40.240> the<00:10:40.360> adoption<00:10:41.000> in<00:10:41.120> Latin<00:10:41.360> America<00:10:41.800> with<00:10:41.960> cryptocurrencies?

00:10:43.000 --> 00:10:50.280
And<00:10:44.200> um<00:10:44.480> obviously<00:10:44.800> those<00:10:45.040> are<00:10:45.360> new<00:10:45.720> too<00:10:46.080> in<00:10:46.200> the<00:10:46.280> same<00:10:46.520> way<00:10:46.640> like<00:10:46.880> kind<00:10:47.040> of<00:10:47.400> fintech<00:10:47.839> is<00:10:48.000> is<00:10:48.240> is<00:10:48.400> a<00:10:48.480> fairly<00:10:49.160> uh<00:10:49.240> new<00:10:49.480> thing.

00:10:50.280 --> 00:10:53.880
Do<00:10:50.360> you<00:10:50.480> integrate<00:10:51.040> What<00:10:51.120> do<00:10:51.200> you<00:10:51.320> think?<00:10:51.600> Like<00:10:51.800> overall,<00:10:52.280> how<00:10:52.440> are<00:10:52.560> you<00:10:52.680> feeling<00:10:52.960> about<00:10:53.200> that?

00:10:53.880 --> 00:11:00.920
Yeah.<00:10:54.920> Well,<00:10:55.160> I<00:10:55.200> think<00:10:55.440> that<00:10:56.600> um<00:10:57.280> crypto<00:10:57.520> of<00:10:57.640> course<00:10:58.080> is<00:10:58.600> a<00:10:58.839> game<00:10:59.080> changer<00:10:59.880> game<00:11:00.080> changer.

00:11:00.920 --> 00:11:03.760
Uh<00:11:01.040> I<00:11:01.160> think<00:11:01.360> that<00:11:01.520> stable<00:11:01.880> coins<00:11:02.280> are<00:11:02.440> a<00:11:02.560> game<00:11:02.760> changer.

00:11:03.760 --> 00:11:11.160
Um<00:11:04.360> in<00:11:04.560> Latin<00:11:04.839> America<00:11:05.520> in<00:11:05.800> some<00:11:06.000> countries<00:11:06.520> they<00:11:06.640> have<00:11:07.080> they<00:11:07.200> have<00:11:07.320> been<00:11:07.560> particularly<00:11:08.960> uh<00:11:09.040> a-<00:11:09.600> well<00:11:10.120> adopted.

00:11:11.160 --> 00:11:21.000
Um<00:11:11.400> like<00:11:11.760> Argentina,<00:11:13.000> of<00:11:13.080> course<00:11:13.320> Venezuela,<00:11:14.880> uh<00:11:14.960> of<00:11:15.080> course<00:11:15.400> Bolivia,<00:11:16.200> you<00:11:16.320> know,<00:11:16.520> countries<00:11:17.240> where<00:11:18.240> um<00:11:18.839> the<00:11:18.960> financial<00:11:19.760> landscape

00:11:21.000 --> 00:11:29.520
um<00:11:21.360> is<00:11:21.600> particular,<00:11:22.440> you<00:11:22.560> know,<00:11:22.720> because<00:11:23.080> they<00:11:23.200> don't<00:11:23.480> have<00:11:23.720> access<00:11:24.080> to<00:11:24.680> US<00:11:25.240> dollars<00:11:26.560> uh<00:11:26.680> or<00:11:27.200> because<00:11:27.880> of<00:11:28.560> um<00:11:29.440> a

00:11:29.520 --> 00:11:32.640
restriction<00:11:31.200> uh<00:11:31.280> in<00:11:31.680> FX,<00:11:32.200> you<00:11:32.320> know?

00:11:32.640 --> 00:11:42.080
And<00:11:32.839> so,<00:11:33.280> I<00:11:33.400> think<00:11:33.640> that<00:11:33.880> somehow<00:11:34.440> crypto<00:11:35.240> and<00:11:35.360> so<00:11:35.880> I<00:11:35.960> think<00:11:36.200> that<00:11:36.440> somehow<00:11:37.000> crypto<00:11:37.760> or<00:11:38.160> stablecoins<00:11:39.040> have<00:11:39.200> been<00:11:39.360> able<00:11:39.600> to<00:11:39.720> understand<00:11:40.800> to

00:11:42.080 --> 00:11:49.160
that<00:11:42.240> difficulty,<00:11:43.000> you<00:11:43.120> know?<00:11:44.360> Um,<00:11:44.440> and<00:11:44.720> because<00:11:45.040> there<00:11:45.160> are<00:11:45.240> incentives<00:11:45.840> to<00:11:46.000> use<00:11:46.200> it,<00:11:46.720> people<00:11:47.000> of<00:11:47.160> course<00:11:47.600> use<00:11:47.840> it,<00:11:48.000> you<00:11:48.080> know?

00:11:49.160 --> 00:11:57.600
Um,<00:11:49.520> I<00:11:49.640> think<00:11:49.880> that<00:11:50.520> we<00:11:50.680> will<00:11:50.880> see<00:11:51.200> how<00:11:51.560> this<00:11:53.440> uh,<00:11:53.960> progresses<00:11:54.680> from<00:11:55.040> being<00:11:55.360> perhaps<00:11:55.960> a<00:11:56.040> little<00:11:56.280> bit<00:11:56.440> more<00:11:56.600> niche<00:11:57.400> to

00:11:57.600 --> 00:12:05.920
be<00:11:57.720> more<00:11:58.360> widely<00:11:58.720> adopted.<00:11:59.680> And<00:12:00.240> what<00:12:00.440> we<00:12:00.600> are<00:12:00.720> seeing<00:12:01.040> in<00:12:01.120> the<00:12:01.200> region<00:12:01.520> is<00:12:01.720> large<00:12:02.040> financial<00:12:02.520> institutions<00:12:03.480> becoming<00:12:04.080> more<00:12:04.360> and<00:12:04.480> more<00:12:04.760> interested<00:12:05.760> in

00:12:05.920 --> 00:12:14.320
stablecoins,<00:12:06.800> you<00:12:06.920> know?<00:12:07.440> And<00:12:07.920> running<00:12:08.240> pilots<00:12:09.080> with<00:12:09.440> a<00:12:09.520> stablecoin,<00:12:10.400> creating<00:12:10.880> their<00:12:11.080> own<00:12:11.400> endeavors<00:12:12.120> in<00:12:12.440> the<00:12:12.560> stablecoin<00:12:13.960> uh,

00:12:14.320 --> 00:12:23.080
space.<00:12:15.320> And<00:12:15.600> so<00:12:15.720> I<00:12:15.760> feel<00:12:15.960> like<00:12:18.080> we'll<00:12:18.560> see<00:12:19.040> a<00:12:19.160> broader<00:12:19.640> adoption,<00:12:20.560> you<00:12:20.680> know,<00:12:20.880> in<00:12:21.400> in<00:12:21.640> markets<00:12:23.000> uh,

00:12:23.080 --> 00:12:27.640
less<00:12:23.600> challenging,<00:12:24.440> you<00:12:24.520> know?<00:12:25.280> Um,<00:12:25.760> more<00:12:26.000> or<00:12:26.120> more<00:12:26.280> conservative.

00:12:27.640 --> 00:12:33.720
Uh,<00:12:27.720> and<00:12:27.840> I<00:12:27.880> think<00:12:28.080> that<00:12:28.280> we<00:12:28.400> will<00:12:28.600> also<00:12:28.960> see<00:12:29.360> a<00:12:29.800> quick<00:12:31.200> um,<00:12:31.280> catch-up<00:12:31.960> from<00:12:32.200> the<00:12:32.320> regulatory<00:12:32.840> space,<00:12:33.440> you<00:12:33.560> know?

00:12:33.720 --> 00:12:41.360
Like<00:12:34.760> regulators<00:12:35.720> uh,<00:12:36.360> and<00:12:37.960> widely<00:12:38.680> creating<00:12:39.680> frameworks,<00:12:40.880> you<00:12:41.000> know?

00:12:41.360 --> 00:12:49.160
So<00:12:41.640> that<00:12:42.000> stablecoins<00:12:43.160> and<00:12:43.400> crypto<00:12:45.280> have<00:12:45.760> like<00:12:46.040> a<00:12:47.080> its<00:12:47.360> own<00:12:47.880> regulatory<00:12:48.280> framework,<00:12:48.920> you<00:12:49.000> know?

00:12:49.160 --> 00:12:52.760
Which<00:12:49.320> is<00:12:49.440> I<00:12:49.640> I<00:12:49.720> think<00:12:49.920> that<00:12:50.360> for<00:12:50.560> broader<00:12:50.920> adoption<00:12:51.360> it's<00:12:51.520> very<00:12:51.720> necessary.

00:12:52.760 --> 00:12:58.680
Um,<00:12:53.960> and<00:12:54.160> then<00:12:54.320> I<00:12:54.360> think<00:12:54.640> that<00:12:55.839> uh,<00:12:55.920> on<00:12:56.200> on<00:12:56.400> the<00:12:56.760> tech<00:12:57.120> side<00:12:57.600> of<00:12:57.760> things,<00:12:58.320> you<00:12:58.440> know?

00:12:58.680 --> 00:13:05.839
Once<00:12:59.040> we<00:12:59.160> have<00:12:59.400> like<00:12:59.600> these<00:12:59.880> regulatory<00:13:00.400> frameworks,<00:13:01.360> it<00:13:01.520> will<00:13:01.720> also<00:13:02.320> become<00:13:03.280> um,<00:13:04.440> easier,<00:13:05.080> you<00:13:05.200> know?

00:13:05.839 --> 00:13:10.360
For<00:13:06.800> uh,<00:13:07.280> tech<00:13:07.520> players<00:13:08.320> to<00:13:08.480> adopt<00:13:09.120> this<00:13:09.360> technology.

00:13:10.360 --> 00:13:18.280
In<00:13:10.480> particular<00:13:10.880> for<00:13:11.080> us,<00:13:11.280> we<00:13:11.400> serve<00:13:11.800> large<00:13:12.080> financial<00:13:12.520> institutions<00:13:13.320> global,<00:13:14.400> uh,<00:13:14.480> like<00:13:14.720> two<00:13:14.839> of<00:13:15.000> the<00:13:15.200> five<00:13:15.520> largest<00:13:15.880> banks<00:13:16.120> in<00:13:16.200> the<00:13:16.320> world<00:13:16.880> uh,<00:13:16.960> you<00:13:17.280> use<00:13:17.520> our<00:13:17.720> infrastructure

00:13:18.280 --> 00:13:23.640
in<00:13:18.360> Latin<00:13:18.600> America.<00:13:19.280> And<00:13:19.400> so<00:13:19.520> for<00:13:19.760> us<00:13:20.680> uh,<00:13:20.760> regulatory<00:13:21.520> certainty<00:13:22.560> is<00:13:22.680> very<00:13:22.880> very<00:13:23.000> important.

00:13:23.640 --> 00:13:31.920
It's<00:13:23.800> capital<00:13:24.200> to<00:13:24.280> what<00:13:24.480> we<00:13:24.560> do.<00:13:25.520> Uh,<00:13:25.600> and<00:13:25.720> so<00:13:26.240> at<00:13:26.400> this<00:13:26.600> point<00:13:27.000> we<00:13:27.240> are<00:13:27.360> trying<00:13:27.840> to<00:13:27.960> map<00:13:28.400> like<00:13:28.720> these<00:13:29.200> regulatory<00:13:29.800> efforts<00:13:30.280> in<00:13:30.400> each<00:13:30.520> of<00:13:30.600> the<00:13:30.680> countries<00:13:31.040> where<00:13:31.200> we<00:13:31.360> operate,

00:13:31.920 --> 00:13:40.240
you<00:13:32.000> know,<00:13:32.400> work<00:13:32.920> with<00:13:33.200> regulators,<00:13:34.360> and<00:13:34.640> see<00:13:35.000> in<00:13:35.320> which<00:13:36.320> of<00:13:36.520> them<00:13:37.240> the<00:13:37.360> stable<00:13:37.640> coins<00:13:38.520> become<00:13:39.080> widely<00:13:39.440> adopted,<00:13:40.160> you

00:13:40.240 --> 00:13:43.280
know,<00:13:40.480> and<00:13:40.640> then<00:13:40.760> can<00:13:41.080> complement<00:13:41.800> our<00:13:41.960> infrastructure.

00:13:43.280 --> 00:13:51.600
So<00:13:43.480> far<00:13:43.720> that's<00:13:43.960> not<00:13:44.120> the<00:13:44.240> case<00:13:44.680> and<00:13:44.840> we<00:13:45.000> are<00:13:45.120> not<00:13:45.520> operating<00:13:46.120> through<00:13:46.360> stable<00:13:46.680> coins,<00:13:47.240> but<00:13:47.400> I<00:13:47.440> think<00:13:47.720> that<00:13:48.280> this<00:13:48.440> is<00:13:48.520> something<00:13:48.920> that<00:13:50.280> change<00:13:50.920> changes<00:13:51.400> as

00:13:51.600 --> 00:13:58.440
we<00:13:51.680> speak,<00:13:52.160> you<00:13:52.240> know,<00:13:53.000> and<00:13:53.200> so<00:13:53.560> yeah,<00:13:54.280> it's<00:13:54.480> something<00:13:54.840> that<00:13:55.160> we<00:13:55.640> keep<00:13:55.800> an<00:13:55.960> eye<00:13:56.120> on<00:13:56.400> very<00:13:56.800> very<00:13:56.960> closely.

00:13:58.440 --> 00:14:01.684
What<00:13:58.720> does<00:13:58.880> a<00:13:58.920> typical<00:13:59.320> day<00:13:59.480> look<00:13:59.680> like<00:13:59.880> for<00:14:00.040> you?

00:14:01.684 --> 00:14:10.400
[laughter]<00:14:02.120> Um,<00:14:02.960> okay,<00:14:03.840> and<00:14:04.000> so<00:14:05.480> um<00:14:06.120> a<00:14:06.280> typical<00:14:06.720> day<00:14:07.200> starts<00:14:07.760> very<00:14:08.120> early<00:14:09.800> before

00:14:10.400 --> 00:14:16.360
6:00<00:14:10.840> a.m.<00:14:11.280> in<00:14:11.400> the<00:14:11.480> morning.<00:14:12.360> Um,<00:14:13.720> I<00:14:13.880> have<00:14:14.080> twins,<00:14:14.840> you<00:14:14.960> know,<00:14:15.280> 6<00:14:15.520> years<00:14:15.640> old.

00:14:16.360 --> 00:14:23.080
That's<00:14:16.560> incredible.<00:14:17.680> Yeah,<00:14:18.640> 6<00:14:18.880> years<00:14:19.120> old<00:14:19.760> twins<00:14:20.200> and<00:14:20.440> so<00:14:20.920> I<00:14:21.200> I<00:14:21.800> wake<00:14:22.000> up<00:14:22.240> very<00:14:22.520> early.

00:14:23.080 --> 00:14:31.720
I<00:14:24.080> do<00:14:24.600> a<00:14:24.680> little<00:14:24.960> bit<00:14:25.080> of<00:14:25.200> gym,<00:14:25.760> you<00:14:25.840> know,<00:14:26.480> exercise<00:14:27.280> a<00:14:27.360> little<00:14:27.600> bit,<00:14:27.920> and<00:14:28.280> that's<00:14:28.720> uh<00:14:29.360> the<00:14:29.720> only<00:14:30.640> space<00:14:31.360> that

00:14:31.720 --> 00:14:37.800
Like<00:14:31.960> early,<00:14:32.200> very<00:14:32.520> early<00:14:32.720> in<00:14:32.800> the<00:14:32.880> morning,<00:14:33.240> that's<00:14:33.400> the<00:14:33.480> one<00:14:33.640> that<00:14:33.760> I<00:14:33.839> control<00:14:34.280> like<00:14:34.520> 100%,<00:14:35.320> you<00:14:35.400> know,<00:14:35.839> how<00:14:36.040> early<00:14:36.400> I<00:14:36.880> wake<00:14:37.160> up.

00:14:37.800 --> 00:14:42.360
Uh,<00:14:38.080> then<00:14:38.600> it's<00:14:38.800> time<00:14:39.040> to<00:14:39.280> wake<00:14:39.480> up<00:14:39.600> the<00:14:39.680> kids,<00:14:40.440> take<00:14:40.640> them<00:14:40.839> to<00:14:41.040> school.

00:14:42.360 --> 00:14:48.320
Um,<00:14:43.000> I<00:14:43.520> come<00:14:43.720> back<00:14:44.360> to<00:14:44.800> to<00:14:44.920> my<00:14:45.040> house,<00:14:46.800> have<00:14:47.000> breakfast.

00:14:48.320 --> 00:14:52.520
Um,<00:14:48.960> and<00:14:49.160> then<00:14:49.360> start<00:14:49.720> planning<00:14:50.240> the<00:14:50.400> rest<00:14:50.640> of<00:14:50.760> the<00:14:51.120> of<00:14:51.280> the<00:14:51.400> morning.

00:14:52.520 --> 00:14:55.440
9:00<00:14:52.920> a.m.,<00:14:53.360> usually<00:14:53.920> I'm<00:14:54.200> already<00:14:54.520> working.

00:14:55.440 --> 00:15:03.880
Uh,<00:14:55.920> and<00:14:56.120> then<00:14:57.600> meetings<00:14:59.200> like<00:14:59.325> [laughter]<00:14:59.560> 30-minute<00:15:00.560> meetings<00:15:02.080> from<00:15:02.520> 9:00<00:15:03.120> to<00:15:03.320> 6:00,<00:15:03.760> you

00:15:03.880 --> 00:15:12.160
know,<00:15:04.080> like<00:15:04.880> with<00:15:05.240> the<00:15:05.320> different<00:15:05.720> teams:<00:15:06.320> internal<00:15:06.720> meetings,<00:15:07.960> investors,<00:15:08.839> customers,<00:15:10.160> prospects,<00:15:12.080> a

00:15:12.160 --> 00:15:21.560
little<00:15:12.400> bit<00:15:12.560> of<00:15:12.680> PR,<00:15:13.240> you<00:15:13.360> know,<00:15:14.000> it's<00:15:14.240> usually<00:15:14.600> a<00:15:14.640> combination<00:15:15.400> of<00:15:15.680> all<00:15:15.880> of<00:15:16.000> those<00:15:17.280> until<00:15:17.920> like<00:15:18.760> 6:00,<00:15:21.000> 6:30

00:15:21.560 --> 00:15:25.960
in<00:15:22.240> in<00:15:22.360> the<00:15:22.440> afternoon,<00:15:22.840> and<00:15:23.000> then<00:15:23.160> it's<00:15:23.440> like<00:15:24.240> uh<00:15:24.440> kids'<00:15:24.760> time<00:15:25.120> again.

00:15:25.960 --> 00:15:30.080
Uh,<00:15:26.080> I<00:15:26.200> try<00:15:26.480> to,<00:15:27.400> um,<00:15:27.800> because<00:15:28.480> they<00:15:28.600> go<00:15:28.800> to<00:15:28.880> bed<00:15:29.080> very<00:15:29.320> early.

00:15:30.080 --> 00:15:33.200
Uh,<00:15:30.160> I<00:15:30.240> try<00:15:30.440> to<00:15:30.680> respect,<00:15:31.240> like,<00:15:32.040> uh,<00:15:32.240> that<00:15:32.440> time.

00:15:33.200 --> 00:15:42.040
Uh,<00:15:33.400> and<00:15:33.600> then<00:15:33.920> yeah,<00:15:34.160> it<00:15:34.360> depends,<00:15:34.800> you<00:15:34.880> know,<00:15:35.080> like<00:15:35.280> after<00:15:35.600> the<00:15:35.760> kids<00:15:36.120> go<00:15:36.280> to<00:15:36.400> bed,<00:15:37.360> it<00:15:37.640> depends<00:15:38.200> on<00:15:38.720> on<00:15:38.920> uh<00:15:39.040> how<00:15:39.400> hot<00:15:39.840> things<00:15:40.160> are<00:15:40.320> at<00:15:40.440> Prometeo.

00:15:42.040 --> 00:15:49.200
Uh,<00:15:42.400> and<00:15:42.840> and<00:15:43.120> yeah,<00:15:43.480> sometimes<00:15:44.000> it's<00:15:44.200> like<00:15:44.680> a<00:15:45.040> quick<00:15:45.360> catch-up<00:15:45.880> with<00:15:46.160> WhatsApp,<00:15:46.760> Slack,<00:15:47.280> and<00:15:48.040> and<00:15:48.240> emails.

00:15:49.200 --> 00:15:56.680
Um,<00:15:49.480> you<00:15:49.560> know,<00:15:49.720> like<00:15:50.160> because<00:15:50.400> of<00:15:50.520> the<00:15:51.160> time<00:15:51.440> zone<00:15:51.640> difference,<00:15:52.640> uh<00:15:52.800> usually<00:15:53.160> it's<00:15:53.560> earlier<00:15:54.320> in<00:15:54.720> in<00:15:54.840> Mexico<00:15:55.480> and<00:15:55.600> Colombia.

00:15:56.680 --> 00:16:00.800
So,<00:15:56.920> sometimes<00:15:57.760> I<00:15:57.840> have<00:15:58.040> to<00:15:58.160> make<00:15:58.360> a<00:15:58.520> quick<00:15:58.720> catch-up<00:15:59.200> with<00:15:59.360> the<00:15:59.440> teams<00:15:59.720> there.

00:16:00.800 --> 00:16:04.640
Uh,<00:16:01.400> Pacific<00:16:01.800> time,<00:16:02.240> it's<00:16:02.480> the<00:16:02.600> same,<00:16:03.000> you<00:16:03.120> know,<00:16:03.400> and<00:16:03.600> so<00:16:04.000> yeah.

00:16:04.640 --> 00:16:09.360
And<00:16:04.800> I<00:16:05.080> I<00:16:05.400> I<00:16:05.520> try<00:16:05.760> to<00:16:06.000> round<00:16:06.320> out<00:16:06.520> the<00:16:06.920> the<00:16:07.040> day<00:16:07.360> by<00:16:08.080> 10:00<00:16:08.320> p.m.

00:16:09.360 --> 00:16:12.800
and<00:16:09.600> then<00:16:09.800> go<00:16:09.920> to<00:16:10.040> bed.<00:16:11.520> That's<00:16:11.680> incredible.

00:16:12.800 --> 00:16:17.520
Uh,<00:16:13.080> how<00:16:13.280> have<00:16:13.440> you<00:16:13.560> funded<00:16:13.960> the<00:16:14.040> business?<00:16:14.760> How<00:16:14.960> have<00:16:15.200> you,<00:16:16.160> uh,<00:16:16.320> like,<00:16:16.600> have<00:16:16.720> you<00:16:16.840> raised<00:16:17.160> money?

00:16:17.520 --> 00:16:19.720
How<00:16:17.640> have<00:16:17.760> you<00:16:17.880> capitalized<00:16:18.520> it?<00:16:19.120> Yes.

00:16:19.720 --> 00:16:27.960
Yes.<00:16:20.560> Um,<00:16:20.920> and<00:16:21.040> so<00:16:21.560> the<00:16:21.720> first<00:16:22.880> uh<00:16:23.000> half<00:16:23.400> of<00:16:23.640> my<00:16:24.320> entrepreneurial<00:16:25.040> experience<00:16:25.800> was<00:16:26.240> bootstrapping,<00:16:27.120> you<00:16:27.200> know?

00:16:27.960 --> 00:16:33.480
Um,<00:16:28.280> because<00:16:28.800> the<00:16:29.000> VC<00:16:29.680> landscape<00:16:30.320> was<00:16:30.520> not<00:16:31.080> that<00:16:31.320> developed<00:16:32.000> in<00:16:32.160> Uruguay.

00:16:33.480 --> 00:16:35.720
Uh,<00:16:33.560> I<00:16:33.640> wasn't<00:16:33.920> that<00:16:34.040> aware<00:16:34.560> about<00:16:34.839> fundraising,<00:16:35.440> you<00:16:35.520> know?

00:16:35.720 --> 00:16:39.320
It,<00:16:35.960> it's,<00:16:36.360> it,<00:16:36.880> it<00:16:37.000> was<00:16:37.200> not<00:16:37.480> something<00:16:37.960> common<00:16:38.560> back<00:16:38.760> then,<00:16:39.120> you<00:16:39.200> know?

00:16:39.320 --> 00:16:43.040
I'm<00:16:39.440> talking<00:16:39.760> 2015,<00:16:40.680> 2016<00:16:41.680> in<00:16:41.839> Uruguay.

00:16:43.040 --> 00:16:46.520
Um,<00:16:43.680> most<00:16:43.960> entrepreneurs<00:16:44.520> were<00:16:45.160> bootstrapped,<00:16:46.040> you<00:16:46.120> know?

00:16:46.520 --> 00:16:52.839
And<00:16:46.760> so,<00:16:47.839> um,<00:16:48.160> at<00:16:48.240> the<00:16:48.320> beginning,<00:16:48.760> we<00:16:48.920> bootstrapped<00:16:49.960> for,<00:16:50.480> I<00:16:50.560> would<00:16:50.720> say,<00:16:51.280> perhaps<00:16:51.760> four<00:16:52.000> years.

00:16:52.839 --> 00:17:01.520
And<00:16:53.120> then<00:16:53.520> when<00:16:53.720> it<00:16:53.880> was<00:16:54.200> time<00:16:54.480> to<00:16:54.640> launch<00:16:55.000> Prometeo,<00:16:55.839> after<00:16:56.520> like<00:16:56.760> the<00:16:56.880> MVPs<00:16:57.560> and<00:16:58.400> after<00:16:58.680> we<00:16:58.839> understood<00:16:59.280> like<00:16:59.800> how<00:17:00.040> this<00:17:00.480> would<00:17:00.680> look<00:17:00.960> like,

00:17:01.520 --> 00:17:07.199
you<00:17:01.600> know,<00:17:01.800> like<00:17:02.000> in<00:17:02.080> the<00:17:02.160> future,<00:17:03.320> uh<00:17:03.400> we<00:17:03.800> understood<00:17:04.240> that<00:17:04.400> it<00:17:04.520> was<00:17:04.880> very<00:17:05.160> capital<00:17:05.760> intensive,<00:17:06.480> you<00:17:06.600> know?

00:17:07.199 --> 00:17:11.839
That<00:17:07.360> we<00:17:07.480> need<00:17:07.760> to,<00:17:08.680> um,<00:17:08.839> create<00:17:09.160> a<00:17:09.199> very<00:17:09.480> robust,<00:17:10.160> solid<00:17:10.600> infrastructure.

00:17:11.839 --> 00:17:20.959
We<00:17:12.000> were<00:17:12.240> true<00:17:12.480> believers<00:17:13.120> about<00:17:13.520> the<00:17:14.520> the<00:17:14.680> power<00:17:15.280> of<00:17:15.839> being<00:17:16.079> able<00:17:16.280> to<00:17:16.400> standardize<00:17:17.160> the<00:17:17.360> connectivity<00:17:18.120> from<00:17:18.319> country<00:17:18.640> to<00:17:18.760> country<00:17:19.560> in<00:17:19.680> Latin<00:17:19.920> America

00:17:20.959 --> 00:17:29.600
and<00:17:21.280> that<00:17:21.560> was<00:17:21.839> a<00:17:21.920> very<00:17:22.439> challenging<00:17:23.160> play,<00:17:23.720> you<00:17:23.800> know,<00:17:24.040> because<00:17:24.439> it<00:17:24.560> was<00:17:24.800> not<00:17:25.120> about<00:17:25.560> Mexico<00:17:26.240> or<00:17:26.439> Brazil<00:17:27.720> or<00:17:28.400> Colombia.

00:17:29.600 --> 00:17:33.280
It<00:17:29.800> was<00:17:30.040> about<00:17:30.840> all<00:17:31.000> of<00:17:31.120> them<00:17:32.080> all<00:17:32.160> together.

00:17:33.280 --> 00:17:41.680
Um,<00:17:33.720> and<00:17:33.840> so<00:17:33.960> yeah,<00:17:34.480> we<00:17:34.760> understood<00:17:35.200> that<00:17:35.360> we<00:17:35.480> needed<00:17:35.760> to,<00:17:36.920> uh,<00:17:37.000> have<00:17:37.240> access<00:17:37.720> to<00:17:37.920> to<00:17:38.280> more<00:17:38.520> funding,<00:17:39.080> you<00:17:39.160> know,<00:17:39.360> and<00:17:39.600> that's<00:17:39.840> when<00:17:40.040> we<00:17:40.160> started<00:17:40.480> fundraising.

00:17:41.680 --> 00:17:50.600
Um,<00:17:43.000> we<00:17:43.240> were<00:17:43.400> able<00:17:43.640> to<00:17:43.760> close<00:17:44.080> a<00:17:44.200> pre-seed<00:17:44.800> round,<00:17:45.320> a<00:17:45.400> seed<00:17:45.800> round<00:17:46.160> later,<00:17:46.880> and<00:17:47.520> in<00:17:47.640> December<00:17:47.960> of<00:17:48.080> 2023,<00:17:49.200> we<00:17:49.320> closed<00:17:49.560> a<00:17:49.640> seed<00:17:49.880> say.

00:17:50.600 --> 00:17:58.800
Uh,<00:17:51.025> it<00:17:51.451> was<00:17:51.876> led<00:17:52.301> by<00:17:52.726> Antler<00:17:53.152> and<00:17:53.577> which<00:17:54.002> is<00:17:54.427> a,<00:17:54.853> uh,<00:17:55.278> fund<00:17:55.703> with<00:17:56.128> presence<00:17:56.554> in<00:17:56.979> Singapore,<00:17:57.404> in<00:17:57.829> New<00:17:58.255> York,<00:17:58.680> and

00:17:58.800 --> 00:18:07.120
in<00:17:58.920> London,<00:18:00.320> uh<00:18:00.400> plus<00:18:00.760> PayPal,<00:18:02.120> who<00:18:02.440> are<00:18:02.640> also<00:18:03.240> investors,<00:18:04.520> um<00:18:05.480> another<00:18:06.000> others<00:18:06.360> VCs<00:18:06.840> that

00:18:07.120 --> 00:18:13.240
came<00:18:07.320> in<00:18:07.480> in<00:18:07.760> that<00:18:08.440> round<00:18:08.800> were<00:18:09.000> Dila<00:18:09.240> Capital<00:18:09.720> Partners<00:18:10.560> and<00:18:10.920> then<00:18:11.320> also<00:18:11.800> Samsung.

00:18:13.240 --> 00:18:20.880
Um,<00:18:13.680> and<00:18:13.800> Cometa,<00:18:14.960> uh<00:18:15.040> who<00:18:15.240> also<00:18:15.560> led<00:18:15.960> our<00:18:16.200> seed<00:18:16.520> round,<00:18:17.120> uh<00:18:17.400> like<00:18:17.720> it's<00:18:18.040> a<00:18:18.160> top,<00:18:18.880> uh,<00:18:18.960> fintech<00:18:19.320> VC<00:18:19.600> in<00:18:19.720> Mexico.

00:18:20.880 --> 00:18:28.720
Um,<00:18:21.560> and<00:18:21.800> yeah,<00:18:22.160> so<00:18:22.600> over<00:18:23.040> the<00:18:23.280> course<00:18:23.560> of<00:18:23.760> this<00:18:24.600> time,<00:18:25.000> we've<00:18:25.240> raised<00:18:25.600> 20<00:18:25.840> million.

00:18:28.720 --> 00:18:37.440
So<00:18:28.880> that's<00:18:29.160> remarkable.<00:18:29.800> I<00:18:29.840> mean,<00:18:30.280> yeah,<00:18:30.520> that's<00:18:30.960> that<00:18:31.200> what<00:18:31.360> a<00:18:31.400> journey<00:18:31.920> and<00:18:32.080> what<00:18:32.240> an<00:18:32.360> incredible,<00:18:33.440> uh,<00:18:34.640> feat<00:18:35.040> you've<00:18:35.200> accomplished<00:18:35.720> here<00:18:36.240> and<00:18:36.520> your<00:18:36.680> third<00:18:36.960> time,

00:18:37.440 --> 00:18:40.880
too.<00:18:37.640> It's,<00:18:37.840> it's,<00:18:38.040> it's,<00:18:38.280> it's<00:18:38.520> unbelievable.<00:18:39.160> I<00:18:39.240> mean,<00:18:39.760> uh<00:18:39.800> congratulations<00:18:40.560> on<00:18:40.680> that.

00:18:40.880 --> 00:18:46.600
That's<00:18:41.080> really<00:18:41.320> cool.<00:18:42.080> How<00:18:42.240> are<00:18:42.360> you<00:18:42.480> feeling<00:18:42.920> about<00:18:43.560> the<00:18:44.120> overall<00:18:44.520> macroeconomic<00:18:46.280> environment?

00:18:46.600 --> 00:18:53.320
Obviously,<00:18:46.720> there<00:18:46.840> was<00:18:47.000> a<00:18:47.080> little,<00:18:47.480> an<00:18:47.640> instability,<00:18:49.080> um,<00:18:49.400> the<00:18:49.560> first<00:18:49.920> half<00:18:50.320> of<00:18:50.440> the<00:18:50.560> year<00:18:50.880> with<00:18:51.000> the<00:18:51.120> tariffs,<00:18:51.600> and<00:18:51.720> it's<00:18:51.800> not<00:18:51.920> like<00:18:52.040> tariffs<00:18:52.360> have<00:18:52.480> gone<00:18:52.640> away<00:18:52.880> or<00:18:53.000> anything

00:18:53.320 --> 00:18:55.760
like<00:18:53.480> that.<00:18:54.000> Has<00:18:54.200> any<00:18:54.320> of<00:18:54.400> that<00:18:54.600> affected<00:18:55.160> you?

00:18:55.760 --> 00:19:00.480
Has<00:18:56.000> it<00:18:56.080> affected<00:18:56.520> the<00:18:56.600> business?<00:18:57.120> How<00:18:57.320> are<00:18:57.440> you<00:18:57.600> feeling<00:18:58.040> going<00:18:58.360> into<00:18:58.560> 2026?

00:19:00.480 --> 00:19:08.760
Okay,<00:19:00.720> so<00:19:00.880> I<00:19:00.920> think<00:19:01.160> that<00:19:02.200> on<00:19:02.360> our<00:19:02.520> end<00:19:04.360> these<00:19:04.640> macro<00:19:05.520> movements<00:19:06.440> don't<00:19:06.720> change<00:19:07.160> the<00:19:07.280> dynamic<00:19:08.440> that<00:19:08.640> we

00:19:08.760 --> 00:19:17.560
have<00:19:09.720> with<00:19:09.920> our<00:19:10.120> customers,<00:19:10.960> you<00:19:11.040> know,<00:19:11.320> so<00:19:11.640> from<00:19:11.960> a<00:19:12.720> go-to-market<00:19:13.920> perspective,<00:19:16.160> they<00:19:16.400> are<00:19:16.520> not<00:19:17.080> that

00:19:17.560 --> 00:19:26.280
significant,<00:19:18.720> you<00:19:18.760> know?<00:19:19.800> I<00:19:19.920> think<00:19:20.160> that<00:19:20.480> overall<00:19:21.320> any<00:19:21.640> macro<00:19:22.120> change<00:19:23.000> that<00:19:23.280> might<00:19:23.600> be<00:19:23.760> challenging<00:19:25.000> in<00:19:25.520> the<00:19:25.680> fintech

00:19:35.200 --> 00:19:37.520
within<00:19:35.880> the<00:19:36.000> business,<00:19:36.640> you<00:19:36.720> know?

00:19:37.520 --> 00:19:46.160
And<00:19:37.640> so<00:19:37.800> usually<00:19:38.600> runs<00:19:38.880> on<00:19:39.000> our<00:19:39.200> favor,<00:19:40.040> you<00:19:40.120> know,<00:19:40.320> like<00:19:40.840> we<00:19:41.080> are<00:19:41.280> there,<00:19:41.640> like<00:19:41.880> we<00:19:42.080> are<00:19:42.240> the<00:19:42.440> alternative<00:19:43.160> infrastructure,<00:19:43.960> creating<00:19:44.680> efficiencies,<00:19:45.560> creating

00:19:46.160 --> 00:19:54.080
cost<00:19:46.440> reduction,<00:19:47.520> you<00:19:47.560> know,<00:19:47.840> and<00:19:48.080> so,<00:19:48.840> um,<00:19:50.280> it's<00:19:50.400> something<00:19:50.880> that<00:19:51.240> somehow<00:19:52.000> plays<00:19:52.440> plays<00:19:52.680> on<00:19:52.800> our<00:19:53.160> favor.

00:19:54.080 --> 00:20:02.240
Um,<00:19:55.240> but<00:19:55.400> then<00:19:55.720> yeah,<00:19:56.520> they<00:19:56.680> can<00:19:57.320> be<00:19:58.320> or<00:19:58.480> create<00:19:59.040> a<00:19:59.120> more<00:20:00.000> challenging<00:20:00.600> environment<00:20:01.600> when<00:20:01.760> it<00:20:01.840> comes<00:20:02.120> to

00:20:02.240 --> 00:20:12.920
fundraise,<00:20:02.960> of<00:20:03.120> course,<00:20:03.600> you<00:20:03.680> know,<00:20:04.000> and<00:20:04.320> so<00:20:04.520> I<00:20:04.640> feel<00:20:04.880> like,<00:20:06.080> uh,<00:20:06.160> then<00:20:06.680> general<00:20:07.320> instability<00:20:08.160> or<00:20:08.320> general<00:20:09.360> in-<00:20:09.520> uncertainty,<00:20:11.840> especially

00:20:12.920 --> 00:20:21.440
is<00:20:13.080> especially<00:20:13.560> significant<00:20:14.160> when<00:20:14.400> you<00:20:14.480> are<00:20:14.600> fundraising<00:20:16.160> in<00:20:16.360> LatAm,<00:20:17.000> creating<00:20:18.200> new<00:20:18.920> infrastructure<00:20:19.840> in<00:20:20.080> Latin<00:20:20.320> America,<00:20:20.880> which<00:20:21.320> is

00:20:21.440 --> 00:20:26.000
always<00:20:21.880> perceived<00:20:22.480> as<00:20:22.680> a<00:20:22.720> little<00:20:23.000> bit<00:20:23.760> riskier,<00:20:24.560> you<00:20:24.680> know?

00:20:26.000 --> 00:20:34.920
Um,<00:20:26.120> and<00:20:26.280> so<00:20:26.440> I<00:20:26.560> think<00:20:26.800> that<00:20:27.240> yeah,<00:20:28.000> that's<00:20:28.560> how<00:20:29.200> like<00:20:29.440> this<00:20:29.760> macro<00:20:30.520> instability<00:20:31.600> affects<00:20:32.480> entrepreneurs<00:20:33.240> in<00:20:33.360> the<00:20:33.440> region.

00:20:34.920 --> 00:20:37.440
How<00:20:35.040> have<00:20:35.200> you<00:20:35.320> maintained<00:20:35.800> the<00:20:35.920> culture<00:20:36.360> of<00:20:36.440> the<00:20:36.520> company?

00:20:37.440 --> 00:20:39.840
How<00:20:37.560> many<00:20:37.680> employees<00:20:38.120> do<00:20:38.240> you<00:20:38.320> have?<00:20:38.720> Is<00:20:38.840> it<00:20:38.920> all<00:20:39.120> remote?

00:20:39.840 --> 00:20:43.859
Is<00:20:40.040> it<00:20:40.400> hybrid?<00:20:40.960> Is<00:20:41.080> it<00:20:41.160> in<00:20:41.240> person?<00:20:41.680> Give<00:20:41.800> us<00:20:41.920> a<00:20:41.960> sense<00:20:42.240> for<00:20:42.320> how<00:20:42.440> you<00:20:42.560> figured<00:20:42.880> that<00:20:43.080> out.

00:20:43.859 --> 00:20:49.200
[snorts]<00:20:44.000> Yeah,<00:20:44.280> well,<00:20:45.120> we've<00:20:45.320> been<00:20:45.720> remote<00:20:46.200> first<00:20:46.880> since<00:20:47.320> the<00:20:47.400> beginning,<00:20:48.040> you<00:20:48.120> know?

00:20:49.200 --> 00:20:53.400
Um,<00:20:49.280> when<00:20:49.480> remote<00:20:49.880> first<00:20:50.360> wasn't<00:20:51.120> wasn't<00:20:51.560> a<00:20:51.640> thing,<00:20:52.160> you<00:20:52.280> know?

00:20:53.400 --> 00:20:56.680
Um,<00:20:53.440> and<00:20:53.600> so<00:20:54.080> we<00:20:54.120> were<00:20:54.320> sort<00:20:54.520> of<00:20:54.680> pioneers<00:20:55.600> back<00:20:55.760> then.

00:20:56.680 --> 00:21:05.200
Um,<00:20:57.120> I<00:20:57.200> think<00:20:57.400> that<00:20:57.720> that<00:20:59.640> it<00:20:59.760> became<00:21:00.120> like<00:21:00.440> part<00:21:00.720> of<00:21:00.840> the<00:21:01.000> DNA<00:21:01.520> of<00:21:01.640> the<00:21:01.760> company,<00:21:02.360> so<00:21:02.680> when<00:21:02.880> COVID<00:21:03.240> hit,<00:21:04.160> we<00:21:04.320> were<00:21:04.480> already<00:21:04.880> used

00:21:05.200 --> 00:21:13.880
to<00:21:05.320> this,<00:21:05.840> you<00:21:05.920> know?<00:21:06.600> Um,<00:21:07.280> and<00:21:07.920> because<00:21:08.560> it<00:21:08.720> was<00:21:08.840> something<00:21:09.320> that<00:21:11.480> we<00:21:12.720> like<00:21:13.040> the<00:21:13.160> company<00:21:13.680> was

00:21:13.880 --> 00:21:17.200
designed<00:21:14.960> to<00:21:15.120> be<00:21:15.360> remote<00:21:16.040> first.

00:21:17.200 --> 00:21:25.680
Um,<00:21:18.320> we<00:21:19.880> like<00:21:21.000> we<00:21:21.200> onboard<00:21:21.640> people<00:21:22.400> that<00:21:23.000> we<00:21:23.200> feel<00:21:24.000> can<00:21:24.840> fit<00:21:25.360> into

00:21:25.680 --> 00:21:29.920
this<00:21:25.880> type<00:21:26.120> of<00:21:26.280> culture,<00:21:26.800> you<00:21:26.920> know?<00:21:27.160> And<00:21:27.280> so,<00:21:27.680> it's<00:21:27.880> embedded<00:21:28.240> in<00:21:28.360> our<00:21:28.520> values,<00:21:29.120> you<00:21:29.240> know?

00:21:29.920 --> 00:21:33.320
Um,<00:21:30.560> it's<00:21:30.760> embedded<00:21:31.160> like<00:21:31.400> in<00:21:31.680> everyday<00:21:32.200> practices,<00:21:33.000> you<00:21:33.080> know?

00:21:33.320 --> 00:21:36.480
All<00:21:33.520> the<00:21:33.680> teams<00:21:34.120> have<00:21:34.440> daily<00:21:35.600> daily<00:21:35.840> meetings.

00:21:36.480 --> 00:21:44.920
All<00:21:36.600> the<00:21:36.720> teams<00:21:37.080> have<00:21:37.320> a<00:21:37.400> weekly<00:21:37.760> meeting.<00:21:38.680> Uh,<00:21:38.880> usually,<00:21:40.040> um,<00:21:40.240> me<00:21:40.480> or<00:21:40.640> my<00:21:40.760> co-founder,<00:21:41.640> like<00:21:42.000> we<00:21:42.680> participate<00:21:43.360> in<00:21:43.480> those<00:21:44.520> weekly

00:21:44.920 --> 00:21:49.880
meetings.<00:21:45.680> Then<00:21:45.960> we<00:21:46.080> have<00:21:46.320> like<00:21:46.600> a<00:21:46.680> monthly<00:21:47.760> town<00:21:48.040> hall<00:21:48.760> for<00:21:49.120> all<00:21:49.280> the<00:21:49.400> teams.

00:21:49.880 --> 00:21:58.640
We<00:21:50.306> have<00:21:50.732> an<00:21:51.158> annual,<00:21:51.584> uh,<00:21:52.010> on-site<00:21:52.436> that,<00:21:52.862> uh,<00:21:53.288> it's<00:21:53.714> like<00:21:54.140> at<00:21:54.566> the<00:21:54.992> end<00:21:55.418> of<00:21:55.844> November<00:21:56.270> in<00:21:56.696> Uruguay<00:21:57.122> when<00:21:57.548> we<00:21:57.974> gather<00:21:58.400> all

00:21:58.640 --> 00:22:00.480
the<00:21:58.760> team<00:21:59.080> for<00:21:59.280> a<00:21:59.360> week,<00:22:00.120> you<00:22:00.240> know?

00:22:00.480 --> 00:22:08.440
And<00:22:00.640> so,<00:22:01.760> that's<00:22:02.200> like,<00:22:02.480> I<00:22:02.560> would<00:22:02.760> say,<00:22:03.000> like<00:22:03.400> a<00:22:03.520> part<00:22:04.080> of<00:22:04.320> the<00:22:04.520> the<00:22:05.080> the<00:22:05.200> cultural<00:22:05.680> tissue<00:22:06.440> of<00:22:06.760> of<00:22:06.920> Prometeo,<00:22:07.560> you<00:22:07.680> know?

00:22:08.440 --> 00:22:16.680
Um,<00:22:09.120> but<00:22:09.280> I<00:22:09.320> think<00:22:09.720> that<00:22:10.040> something<00:22:10.440> that<00:22:10.640> it's<00:22:10.840> very<00:22:11.000> important<00:22:12.040> besides<00:22:12.560> like<00:22:12.920> this,<00:22:13.560> like<00:22:14.520> how<00:22:14.800> how<00:22:14.960> you<00:22:15.600> like<00:22:16.160> all<00:22:16.320> of<00:22:16.440> these

00:22:16.680 --> 00:22:21.440
processes,<00:22:17.560> Slack,<00:22:18.240> of<00:22:18.360> course,<00:22:18.800> and<00:22:19.280> like<00:22:19.720> the<00:22:19.840> the<00:22:19.960> platform<00:22:20.480> where<00:22:20.600> you<00:22:20.680> communicate.

00:22:21.440 --> 00:22:26.240
I<00:22:21.520> think<00:22:21.720> that<00:22:21.880> it's<00:22:22.080> very<00:22:22.280> important<00:22:23.120> to<00:22:23.240> be<00:22:23.320> consistent<00:22:24.280> with<00:22:24.440> the<00:22:24.520> culture,<00:22:25.240> you<00:22:25.360> know?

00:22:26.240 --> 00:22:33.880
Uh,<00:22:26.400> and<00:22:26.640> to<00:22:26.760> take<00:22:27.320> take<00:22:27.560> action,<00:22:28.840> um,<00:22:29.600> thinking<00:22:30.320> about<00:22:31.280> how<00:22:31.600> you<00:22:32.320> want<00:22:32.680> the<00:22:32.800> culture<00:22:33.200> to<00:22:33.360> be.

00:22:33.880 --> 00:22:36.920
So,<00:22:34.440> I<00:22:34.520> think<00:22:34.720> that<00:22:34.840> it's<00:22:34.960> very<00:22:35.080> important<00:22:35.440> to<00:22:35.520> be<00:22:35.600> intentional,<00:22:36.360> you<00:22:36.480> know?

00:22:36.920 --> 00:22:40.760
We<00:22:37.120> think<00:22:37.520> about<00:22:38.080> the<00:22:38.200> culture<00:22:38.680> that<00:22:38.880> we<00:22:39.000> want<00:22:39.200> to<00:22:39.320> create<00:22:39.760> at<00:22:39.880> Prometeo.

00:22:40.760 --> 00:22:46.560
And<00:22:40.880> we<00:22:41.280> think,<00:22:41.840> uh,<00:22:42.600> about<00:22:43.040> it,<00:22:43.440> uh,<00:22:43.760> since<00:22:45.320> 2020,<00:22:46.200> you<00:22:46.320> know?

00:22:46.560 --> 00:22:50.240
Since<00:22:46.880> like<00:22:47.160> the<00:22:47.280> very<00:22:47.600> very<00:22:47.840> very<00:22:48.080> beginning<00:22:48.800> early<00:22:49.080> beginnings.

00:22:50.240 --> 00:22:58.600
Um,<00:22:50.275> [snorts]<00:22:50.800> and<00:22:50.920> I<00:22:51.000> think<00:22:51.320> that<00:22:52.120> something<00:22:52.760> that<00:22:53.080> for<00:22:53.360> us<00:22:53.640> it's<00:22:53.880> very<00:22:54.040> important<00:22:55.440> is<00:22:55.640> that

00:22:58.600 --> 00:23:07.400
we<00:22:58.920> understand<00:22:59.880> like<00:23:00.480> part<00:23:01.000> of<00:23:01.120> the<00:23:01.240> value<00:23:01.640> of<00:23:01.840> Prometeo,<00:23:03.640> it's<00:23:03.920> the<00:23:04.040> culture<00:23:04.480> that<00:23:04.720> we've<00:23:04.920> created,<00:23:06.040> which<00:23:06.240> is<00:23:06.400> a<00:23:07.240> an

00:23:07.400 --> 00:23:14.240
asset<00:23:07.680> for<00:23:07.920> us,<00:23:08.760> but<00:23:08.880> it's<00:23:09.080> something<00:23:09.880> that<00:23:10.400> also<00:23:11.800> becomes<00:23:12.800> like<00:23:13.040> a<00:23:13.120> legacy.

00:23:14.240 --> 00:23:19.600
It's<00:23:14.440> something<00:23:14.920> that<00:23:15.240> we<00:23:15.400> want<00:23:16.680> to<00:23:16.800> pass<00:23:17.120> on<00:23:18.160> to<00:23:18.320> other<00:23:18.560> entrepreneurs,<00:23:19.280> you<00:23:19.360> know?

00:23:19.600 --> 00:23:29.400
And<00:23:19.720> so<00:23:19.840> something<00:23:20.280> that<00:23:20.480> I<00:23:20.560> always<00:23:22.240> mention,<00:23:22.960> and<00:23:23.080> it<00:23:23.360> for<00:23:23.520> me<00:23:23.640> is<00:23:23.760> very<00:23:23.960> important,<00:23:24.600> is<00:23:24.760> that<00:23:25.280> whenever<00:23:25.720> a<00:23:25.840> Prometeo<00:23:26.440> in<00:23:27.080> leaves<00:23:27.480> Prometeo,<00:23:28.920> I

00:23:29.400 --> 00:23:35.520
want<00:23:30.080> that<00:23:30.280> Prometeo<00:23:31.240> to<00:23:31.400> take<00:23:32.120> with<00:23:32.400> him<00:23:32.760> or<00:23:32.960> her<00:23:33.440> like<00:23:33.800> this<00:23:34.120> culture,<00:23:35.280> you<00:23:35.320> know?

00:23:35.520 --> 00:23:40.960
So<00:23:36.160> that<00:23:36.760> it<00:23:36.880> becomes<00:23:37.440> a<00:23:37.520> part<00:23:37.920> of<00:23:38.080> the<00:23:38.240> culture<00:23:38.760> of<00:23:38.960> the<00:23:39.080> new<00:23:39.280> company,<00:23:40.080> you<00:23:40.160> know?

00:23:40.960 --> 00:23:49.920
And<00:23:41.400> so<00:23:41.520> I<00:23:41.600> think<00:23:41.920> that,<00:23:42.800> um,<00:23:43.800> like<00:23:44.520> in<00:23:44.840> in<00:23:45.080> in<00:23:45.360> in<00:23:45.600> in<00:23:45.760> the<00:23:45.920> entrepreneurial<00:23:46.680> ecosystem,<00:23:47.120> like<00:23:47.280> we<00:23:47.400> have<00:23:47.680> like<00:23:47.840> this<00:23:48.000> saying<00:23:48.280> about<00:23:48.600> paid<00:23:48.920> forward.

00:23:49.920 --> 00:23:52.880
I<00:23:50.000> think<00:23:50.240> that<00:23:50.640> with<00:23:50.880> culture<00:23:51.600> it's<00:23:51.920> the<00:23:52.040> same,<00:23:52.520> you<00:23:52.640> know?

00:23:52.880 --> 00:23:55.920
You<00:23:53.080> are<00:23:53.280> paying<00:23:53.680> it<00:23:53.880> forward<00:23:54.640> to<00:23:54.800> other<00:23:55.040> startups,<00:23:55.640> you<00:23:55.720> know?

00:23:55.920 --> 00:24:02.920
Like<00:23:56.800> and<00:23:57.080> this<00:23:57.360> usually<00:23:57.800> it's<00:23:58.000> very<00:23:58.640> like<00:23:59.640> something<00:24:00.040> that<00:24:00.440> you<00:24:00.600> don't<00:24:00.840> think<00:24:01.120> about<00:24:01.400> like<00:24:02.080> intentionally,<00:24:02.640> you<00:24:02.760> know?

00:24:02.920 --> 00:24:10.400
It's<00:24:03.040> something<00:24:03.280> that<00:24:03.440> just<00:24:03.680> happens,<00:24:04.240> you<00:24:04.320> know?<00:24:04.480> Like<00:24:04.960> you<00:24:05.520> learn<00:24:05.800> to<00:24:05.960> work<00:24:06.280> in<00:24:06.480> a<00:24:06.560> certain<00:24:06.920> company<00:24:07.400> and<00:24:07.520> then<00:24:07.680> you<00:24:07.800> go<00:24:07.920> to<00:24:08.200> another<00:24:08.560> one<00:24:08.880> and<00:24:09.080> you<00:24:09.480> somehow<00:24:09.960> carry

00:24:10.400 --> 00:24:14.760
on<00:24:10.600> with<00:24:11.600> at<00:24:11.680> least<00:24:12.320> a<00:24:12.400> little<00:24:12.640> bit<00:24:12.840> of<00:24:13.080> of<00:24:13.360> of<00:24:13.560> that,<00:24:13.880> you<00:24:13.960> know?

00:24:14.760 --> 00:24:23.480
And<00:24:14.780> [snorts]<00:24:15.280> and<00:24:15.400> I<00:24:15.440> think<00:24:15.640> that<00:24:15.920> if<00:24:16.680> at<00:24:16.760> Prometeo<00:24:17.200> we<00:24:17.360> are<00:24:17.560> able<00:24:17.920> to<00:24:18.080> create<00:24:18.520> like<00:24:18.720> a<00:24:18.800> nice<00:24:20.280> culture<00:24:21.640> that<00:24:21.840> truly<00:24:22.160> values<00:24:22.920> effort,

00:24:23.480 --> 00:24:29.200
that<00:24:23.640> truly<00:24:23.920> values,<00:24:25.400> uh,<00:24:26.160> like<00:24:26.480> capacity,<00:24:27.200> learning<00:24:27.560> processes.

00:24:29.200 --> 00:24:34.160
I<00:24:29.280> think<00:24:29.520> that<00:24:29.640> that's<00:24:29.840> something<00:24:30.200> that<00:24:30.400> we<00:24:30.600> will<00:24:31.280> be<00:24:31.440> able<00:24:31.760> to<00:24:31.920> pass<00:24:32.200> on<00:24:32.600> to<00:24:32.720> future<00:24:33.000> entrepreneurs.

00:24:34.160 --> 00:24:40.800
Um,<00:24:34.760> and<00:24:34.880> so<00:24:35.280> yeah,<00:24:35.680> I<00:24:35.760> think<00:24:36.000> that<00:24:36.760> that's<00:24:37.160> something<00:24:37.720> that<00:24:38.040> we<00:24:38.160> are<00:24:38.240> very<00:24:38.560> intentional<00:24:39.120> about.

00:24:40.800 --> 00:24:48.160
Finally,<00:24:41.160> we<00:24:41.400> end<00:24:41.560> every<00:24:41.800> interview<00:24:42.080> with<00:24:42.200> the<00:24:42.280> same<00:24:42.480> question,<00:24:43.000> and<00:24:43.200> that<00:24:43.440> is<00:24:43.600> at<00:24:43.760> ceo.com<00:24:44.760> we<00:24:44.920> believe<00:24:45.200> the<00:24:45.320> chances<00:24:45.760> one<00:24:46.000> gives<00:24:47.080> is<00:24:47.240> just<00:24:47.480> as<00:24:47.560> important<00:24:47.920> as<00:24:48.040> the

00:24:48.160 --> 00:24:53.600
chances<00:24:48.560> one<00:24:48.760> takes.<00:24:49.840> When<00:24:50.000> you<00:24:50.200> hear<00:24:50.440> that,<00:24:50.680> who<00:24:50.840> gave<00:24:51.080> you<00:24:51.200> a<00:24:51.240> chance<00:24:51.560> to<00:24:51.640> get<00:24:51.800> you<00:24:51.920> to<00:24:52.040> where<00:24:52.200> you<00:24:52.360> are<00:24:52.520> today?

00:24:53.600 --> 00:24:57.760
Um

00:24:57.760 --> 00:25:06.880
Um,<00:24:58.800> I<00:24:58.880> I<00:24:59.160> that,<00:24:59.880> uh,<00:25:00.120> uh,<00:25:00.200> well,<00:25:01.000> starting<00:25:01.360> by<00:25:01.480> my<00:25:01.600> co-founders,<00:25:03.480> you<00:25:03.520> know,<00:25:04.320> uh,<00:25:04.400> like<00:25:04.640> my<00:25:04.800> background<00:25:05.360> wasn't<00:25:05.880> like

00:25:06.880 --> 00:25:13.440
um,<00:25:07.238> I<00:25:07.595> don't<00:25:07.953> know,<00:25:08.311> investment<00:25:08.668> banking,<00:25:09.026> you<00:25:09.384> know,<00:25:09.741> or<00:25:10.099> or<00:25:10.456> like,<00:25:10.814> uh,<00:25:11.172> a<00:25:11.529> big<00:25:11.887> tech<00:25:12.245> in<00:25:12.602> in<00:25:12.960> LatAm.

00:25:13.440 --> 00:25:20.280
So,<00:25:13.960> my<00:25:14.080> background<00:25:14.440> is<00:25:14.600> journalism,<00:25:16.000> and<00:25:16.360> so<00:25:16.480> it's<00:25:16.640> not<00:25:16.880> the<00:25:17.040> traditional<00:25:18.120> background<00:25:18.720> for<00:25:18.880> a<00:25:18.960> co-founder.

00:25:20.280 --> 00:25:28.480
Uh,<00:25:20.360> and<00:25:20.480> so<00:25:20.560> I<00:25:20.640> think<00:25:20.840> that<00:25:21.040> they<00:25:21.440> truly<00:25:21.760> trusted,<00:25:22.880> uh,<00:25:22.960> my,<00:25:24.240> um,<00:25:25.120> yeah,<00:25:25.480> my<00:25:25.720> ability<00:25:26.520> to<00:25:26.760> understand,<00:25:27.680> to<00:25:27.840> learn,<00:25:28.360> to

00:25:28.480 --> 00:25:31.560
persevere,<00:25:29.400> you<00:25:29.520> know,<00:25:29.720> like<00:25:30.040> they<00:25:30.160> trusted<00:25:30.560> my<00:25:30.680> talent.

00:25:31.560 --> 00:25:34.480
And<00:25:31.800> so<00:25:31.920> I<00:25:32.000> think<00:25:32.280> that<00:25:32.720> they<00:25:32.960> gave<00:25:33.240> me<00:25:33.400> a<00:25:33.480> chance.

00:25:34.480 --> 00:25:43.400
Um,<00:25:35.080> I<00:25:35.160> think<00:25:35.400> that<00:25:35.800> early<00:25:36.080> on<00:25:36.360> investors,<00:25:37.440> early<00:25:37.680> checks<00:25:38.120> at<00:25:38.280> Prometeo,<00:25:39.320> uh<00:25:39.400> gave<00:25:39.680> us<00:25:39.840> a<00:25:39.880> chance,<00:25:40.680> you<00:25:40.760> know,<00:25:40.880> like<00:25:41.280> the<00:25:41.400> first<00:25:41.760> institutional<00:25:42.400> check,<00:25:43.320> uh

00:25:43.400 --> 00:25:46.840
that<00:25:43.560> came<00:25:43.800> from<00:25:44.120> Oriol<00:25:44.440> Ross<00:25:44.960> in<00:25:45.400> Catalonia<00:25:45.800> Ventures.

00:25:46.840 --> 00:25:52.760
Uh,<00:25:47.240> that<00:25:47.480> was<00:25:47.880> like,<00:25:48.600> uh,<00:25:48.760> 100%,<00:25:50.360> uh,<00:25:50.960> a<00:25:51.040> chance,<00:25:51.640> you<00:25:51.760> know.

00:25:52.760 --> 00:26:01.000
Um,<00:25:53.440> and<00:25:54.040> then<00:25:54.600> I<00:25:54.760> think<00:25:55.160> that,<00:25:55.400> of<00:25:55.560> course,<00:25:56.000> the<00:25:56.480> the<00:25:56.520> investors<00:25:56.920> that<00:25:57.080> came<00:25:57.280> later<00:25:57.720> on<00:25:59.600> helped<00:26:00.040> out,<00:26:00.360> you<00:26:00.440> know,<00:26:00.640> of<00:26:00.800> course

00:26:01.000 --> 00:26:07.240
that<00:26:01.160> they<00:26:01.640> gave<00:26:01.960> us<00:26:02.080> a<00:26:02.160> chance,<00:26:02.440> but<00:26:02.600> I<00:26:02.640> think<00:26:02.840> that<00:26:03.000> that<00:26:03.240> first<00:26:03.720> institutional<00:26:04.400> check,<00:26:05.240> uh,<00:26:05.560> it's<00:26:05.760> very<00:26:05.960> relevant.
