The Digital Dept CEO Sarah Boyd: From fashion PR to influencer empire

Show notes

Sarah Boyd's competition is a computer

Somewhere out there, software is signing influencers and negotiating their brand deals. "We have seen AI become a talent manager," Sarah Boyd said on the CEO.com Podcast. "There's an AI talent management agency, which is wild, and it's a computer."

Boyd runs The Digital Dept., an influencer marketing and talent management agency with offices in Los Angeles, New York, Nashville, and Miami. She leads it as co-CEO with Ali Grant. The firm manages about 300 influencers, and its answer to the machines is old-fashioned: daily texts, phone calls, and in-person meetings. "A lot of our talent just like that personal touch, the white glove service, and having a person that they can really rely on," she said.

The relationship bet is not a strategy she adopted. It is the whole career. Boyd started in fashion PR, spent nine years there, and founded Simply, a fashion and beauty conference business, in 2012. The conferences came with a side business. "A lot of the contacts I had from my PR days were interested in this new thing called Instagram and how to monetize it," she said. So she started managing celebrity talent. Socialyte acquired Simply. Boyd became Socialyte's president. Dolphin Entertainment acquired Socialyte in 2022, then merged it with Be Social, and The Digital Dept. was the result, formed in September 2023.

The business has three divisions. Talent management negotiates deals for the roster. A brand division casts influencers and builds campaign strategy for companies. An events team produces everything from corporate activations to 15-person rooftop dinners. The roster runs about 20 percent celebrity talent, another 20 percent dermatologists and skincare professionals, and the rest fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and food creators. The dermatologists came through an acquisition. "They have that expertise, and a lot of brands love working with them," Boyd said.

Her pitch method survived from the PR years. When the firm signs new talent, the team photographs everything in the creator's house. Under the sink. In the bathroom. The makeup drawer. Those brands become the target list, because the endorsement already exists. Sometimes it starts with gifted product. Sometimes it becomes a paid campaign right away.

The Digital Dept. employs 75 people, all remote, which puts the people person in a bind. Boyd spends six or seven hours a day on Zoom. "I'm such a people person," she said. "Get me to an event, get me in person. That's where I thrive." She travels once or twice a month to see the team, and the company runs a culture committee, city happy hours, and a book club to cover the distance.

The events division runs BRANDEdit four times a year, timed to New York Fashion Week, Miami Swim Week, and Nashville's CMA Fest, with about 150 influencers meeting brands over two days. In June 2026, the platform powered the Featured Creator Gifting Lounge at VidCon Anaheim, putting brands in front of roughly 200 creators.

None of this makes Boyd a skeptic of the technology coming for her category. "I'm on ChatGPT all the time just asking all kinds of questions," she said. It drafts strategies, surfaces what is going viral, finds pitch contacts, and compresses half a day of document work into seconds. The stranger development is on the talent side, where AI-generated personalities now compete with her clients. "I'm surprised that some of these AI influencers are actually making money doing brand deals," she said.

The humans have taken their own hits. The Los Angeles fires disrupted talent, clients, and staff in early 2025, and tariffs followed. Boyd acquired her way into an affiliate division and doubled down on the dermatologists. "It's always kind of bobbing and weaving through tough times," she said.

Every episode of the CEO.com Podcast ends with the same question: who gave you a chance? Boyd's answer was her sister, 10 years older, who was starting a PR agency in Los Angeles while Boyd finished college in Philadelphia. Her sister hired her as employee number one and kept her for nearly nine years. "If she didn't take that risk on me, I don't know where I'd be right now," Boyd said. "I'd probably still be in Philly somewhere."

00:00:06.954 --> 00:00:08.464
Sarah,<00:00:07.260> thank<00:00:07.420> you<00:00:07.501> so<00:00:07.597> much<00:00:07.806> for<00:00:07.902> coming<00:00:08.143> on<00:00:08.207> the<00:00:08.288> show.

00:00:08.529 --> 00:00:10.440
You're<00:00:08.689> the<00:00:08.721> CEO<00:00:09.187> of<00:00:09.267> The<00:00:09.428> Digital<00:00:09.814> Department.

00:00:10.552 --> 00:00:14.054
Tell<00:00:10.713> us<00:00:10.858> what<00:00:10.954> that<00:00:11.179> is,<00:00:11.500> how<00:00:11.661> you<00:00:11.757> became<00:00:12.094> CEO,<00:00:12.865> and<00:00:12.946> your<00:00:13.106> journey<00:00:13.508> leading<00:00:13.765> up<00:00:13.990> here.

00:00:14.809 --> 00:00:18.439
Yeah,<00:00:15.275> I,<00:00:15.917> uh,<00:00:16.255> we<00:00:16.399> became<00:00:16.720> The<00:00:16.817> Digital<00:00:17.122> Department<00:00:17.604> 2<00:00:17.845> years<00:00:18.182> ago.

00:00:19.306 --> 00:00:22.455
Taking<00:00:19.628> you<00:00:19.853> back,<00:00:20.350> it<00:00:20.415> was<00:00:20.591> through<00:00:21.170> multiple<00:00:21.619> acquisitions.

00:00:22.663 --> 00:00:26.133
Um,<00:00:23.740> I<00:00:23.820> started<00:00:24.125> my<00:00:24.286> career<00:00:24.928> in<00:00:25.249> fashion<00:00:25.651> PR.

00:00:26.294 --> 00:00:27.787
I<00:00:26.374> did<00:00:26.470> that<00:00:26.775> for<00:00:26.920> about<00:00:27.177> 9<00:00:27.482> years.

00:00:28.865 --> 00:00:33.198
Then<00:00:29.187> started<00:00:29.493> my<00:00:29.654> own<00:00:29.832> business<00:00:30.299> called<00:00:30.492> Simply,<00:00:31.201> which<00:00:31.442> is<00:00:31.587> a<00:00:31.668> fashion<00:00:32.071> and<00:00:32.167> beauty<00:00:32.409> conference.

00:00:33.843 --> 00:00:40.039
As<00:00:34.100> I<00:00:34.181> started<00:00:34.584> building<00:00:34.906> that<00:00:35.067> company,<00:00:36.017> I<00:00:36.775> started<00:00:37.242> managing<00:00:38.050> celebrities<00:00:39.020> in<00:00:39.101> the<00:00:39.247> digital<00:00:39.586> space.

00:00:40.782 --> 00:00:49.049
A<00:00:41.025> lot<00:00:41.203> of<00:00:41.235> the<00:00:41.348> contacts<00:00:41.833> I<00:00:41.930> had<00:00:42.237> from<00:00:42.819> my<00:00:42.981> PR<00:00:43.304> days<00:00:45.164> that<00:00:45.325> were<00:00:45.487> interested<00:00:46.117> in<00:00:46.214> this<00:00:46.522> new<00:00:46.716> thing<00:00:46.926> called<00:00:47.187> Instagram<00:00:47.906> and<00:00:48.069> how<00:00:48.167> to<00:00:48.314> monetize<00:00:48.902> it.

00:00:49.212 --> 00:00:52.201
This<00:00:49.457> is<00:00:49.784> going<00:00:50.045> back<00:00:50.780> when<00:00:51.254> Instagram<00:00:51.679> first<00:00:51.875> started.

00:00:53.190 --> 00:01:02.029
So<00:00:53.288> started<00:00:53.697> building<00:00:54.516> that<00:00:54.778> roster<00:00:55.106> of<00:00:55.188> celebrity<00:00:55.679> talent,<00:00:56.252> my<00:00:56.481> conferencing<00:00:57.071> business,<00:00:57.766> And<00:00:59.144> that<00:00:59.384> business<00:00:59.705> got<00:00:59.881> acquired<00:01:00.410> by<00:01:00.747> a<00:01:00.811> company<00:01:01.212> called<00:01:01.388> Socialite.

00:01:03.327 --> 00:01:05.764
Socialite,<00:01:04.177> I<00:01:04.273> then<00:01:04.498> became<00:01:04.754> the<00:01:04.898> president<00:01:05.379> of.

00:01:06.020 --> 00:01:11.726
And<00:01:06.822> about<00:01:07.142> a<00:01:07.222> year<00:01:07.463> later,<00:01:07.799> we<00:01:07.864> were<00:01:08.024> acquired<00:01:08.521> by<00:01:08.681> Dolphin<00:01:09.018> Entertainment,<00:01:09.899> CEO<00:01:10.989> Bill<00:01:11.165> O'Dowd.

00:01:11.791 --> 00:01:14.163
You<00:01:11.887> can<00:01:12.031> look<00:01:12.207> at<00:01:12.352> a<00:01:12.368> past<00:01:12.768> episode<00:01:13.313> to<00:01:13.393> learn<00:01:13.634> more<00:01:13.746> about<00:01:14.051> him.

00:01:15.413 --> 00:01:25.479
So<00:01:15.573> once<00:01:15.814> we<00:01:15.958> were<00:01:16.054> under<00:01:16.311> the<00:01:16.455> Dolphin<00:01:17.641> Entertainment<00:01:18.763> umbrella,<00:01:19.725> we<00:01:20.222> then<00:01:20.542> merged<00:01:21.103> with<00:01:21.263> another<00:01:21.728> company<00:01:22.225> called<00:01:22.466> BeSocial<00:01:23.331> that<00:01:23.507> was<00:01:24.052> also<00:01:24.389> acquired<00:01:24.870> by<00:01:25.030> Dolphin.

00:01:25.976 --> 00:01:29.781
And<00:01:26.233> the<00:01:26.394> two<00:01:26.554> companies<00:01:27.180> came<00:01:27.421> together<00:01:27.919> and<00:01:28.063> we<00:01:28.160> became<00:01:28.721> The<00:01:28.866> Digital<00:01:29.139> Department.

00:01:30.086 --> 00:01:32.141
September<00:01:30.632> will<00:01:30.809> be<00:01:30.969> our<00:01:31.290> two-year<00:01:31.675> anniversary.

00:01:32.719 --> 00:01:37.519
So<00:01:33.217> essentially<00:01:34.244> what<00:01:34.565> we<00:01:34.726> do<00:01:35.288> is<00:01:35.850> all<00:01:36.026> things<00:01:36.428> influencer<00:01:36.973> marketing.

00:01:38.338 --> 00:01:44.021
We<00:01:38.402> have<00:01:38.515> a<00:01:38.531> talent<00:01:38.900> management<00:01:39.398> division<00:01:39.944> where<00:01:40.056> we<00:01:40.200> manage<00:01:40.521> about<00:01:40.762> 300<00:01:41.388> influencers,<00:01:42.833> all<00:01:42.930> of<00:01:43.010> their<00:01:43.170> brand<00:01:43.492> deals.

00:01:44.840 --> 00:01:47.280
We<00:01:44.920> have<00:01:45.017> a<00:01:45.081> brand<00:01:45.338> division<00:01:45.819> where<00:01:45.964> we<00:01:46.124> do<00:01:46.285> it<00:01:46.381> on<00:01:46.446> the<00:01:46.542> brand<00:01:46.847> side.

00:01:47.329 --> 00:01:51.150
We<00:01:47.425> can<00:01:48.212> cast<00:01:48.693> influencers<00:01:49.432> and<00:01:49.994> put<00:01:50.090> their<00:01:50.234> strategy<00:01:50.700> together.

00:01:51.519 --> 00:02:07.138
And<00:01:51.599> then<00:01:51.695> our<00:01:51.840> third<00:01:52.081> division<00:01:52.627> is<00:01:52.739> event<00:01:53.044> and<00:01:53.140> experiential,<00:01:53.943> so<00:01:54.152> we<00:01:54.248> can<00:01:54.409> produce<00:01:55.756> any<00:01:55.933> sort<00:01:56.157> of<00:01:56.237> event,<00:01:56.750> small<00:01:57.119> to<00:01:57.279> large<00:01:58.081> corporate<00:01:58.337> events<00:01:58.818> to,<00:01:59.443> you<00:01:59.524> know,<00:01:59.604> a<00:01:59.636> 15-person<00:02:00.405> rooftop<00:02:00.838> dinner<00:02:01.768> and<00:02:02.104> everything<00:02:02.505> in<00:02:02.585> between<00:02:03.050> the<00:02:03.146> PR<00:02:03.483> mailers,<00:02:04.349> you<00:02:04.429> know,<00:02:04.749> anything<00:02:05.134> experiential<00:02:06.112> and<00:02:06.256> event<00:02:06.657> focused.

00:02:07.218 --> 00:02:10.697
So<00:02:08.116> kind<00:02:08.292> of<00:02:08.372> a<00:02:08.500> one-stop<00:02:08.917> shop<00:02:09.254> for<00:02:09.462> anything<00:02:10.103> influencer.

00:02:11.001 --> 00:02:15.650
So<00:02:11.226> you<00:02:11.322> have<00:02:11.658> these<00:02:11.819> skills<00:02:12.444> and<00:02:12.588> this<00:02:12.748> expertise<00:02:13.790> and,<00:02:14.287> you<00:02:14.383> know,<00:02:14.528> you're<00:02:14.688> world-class<00:02:15.249> at<00:02:15.554> it.

00:02:16.596 --> 00:02:23.168
Um,<00:02:17.253> but<00:02:17.557> everyone<00:02:18.118> kind<00:02:18.439> of<00:02:18.615> needs<00:02:18.936> to<00:02:19.032> know<00:02:19.241> how<00:02:19.337> to<00:02:19.481> do<00:02:19.722> this<00:02:19.962> stuff<00:02:20.539> right<00:02:20.860> now,<00:02:21.164> particularly<00:02:21.597> like<00:02:21.805> CEOs<00:02:22.447> in<00:02:22.543> our<00:02:22.767> audience.

00:02:23.649 --> 00:02:27.512
Um,<00:02:23.986> like<00:02:24.226> how<00:02:24.531> do<00:02:24.851> you,<00:02:25.492> uh,<00:02:26.150> talk<00:02:26.406> about<00:02:26.614> yourself<00:02:27.031> in<00:02:27.160> public.

00:02:27.577 --> 00:02:32.966
How<00:02:27.737> do<00:02:27.913> you<00:02:28.074> promote<00:02:28.395> yourself<00:02:28.731> in<00:02:28.860> public<00:02:29.180> that's<00:02:29.341> authentic<00:02:29.998> and<00:02:30.640> doesn't<00:02:30.945> feel<00:02:31.169> like<00:02:31.298> it<00:02:31.362> was<00:02:31.522> written<00:02:31.843> by<00:02:32.084> ChatGPT?

00:02:33.190 --> 00:02:35.003
And,<00:02:33.367> you<00:02:33.463> know,<00:02:33.672> like,<00:02:34.169> things<00:02:34.409> of<00:02:34.490> that<00:02:34.570> nature.

00:02:35.051 --> 00:02:52.293
So<00:02:36.013> if<00:02:36.077> you<00:02:36.158> wouldn't<00:02:36.334> mind,<00:02:36.575> give<00:02:36.735> us<00:02:36.895> a<00:02:36.911> sense<00:02:37.457> for<00:02:38.179> the<00:02:38.275> advice<00:02:38.820> you<00:02:38.981> give<00:02:40.328> influencers<00:02:41.691> and<00:02:41.787> CEOs<00:02:42.670> and<00:02:42.830> people<00:02:43.135> who<00:02:43.311> do<00:02:43.696> already<00:02:44.033> have<00:02:44.258> some<00:02:44.498> sort<00:02:44.755> of<00:02:45.060> audience<00:02:46.343> in<00:02:46.439> how<00:02:46.696> to<00:02:46.824> do<00:02:47.000> it<00:02:47.145> authentically<00:02:48.588> and,<00:02:50.369> uh,<00:02:50.689> why<00:02:50.914> they<00:02:51.010> should<00:02:51.171> do<00:02:51.331> it<00:02:51.395> in<00:02:51.475> the<00:02:51.572> first<00:02:51.812> place,<00:02:52.053> maybe.

00:02:52.855 --> 00:02:58.728
Yeah,<00:02:53.175> I,<00:02:53.416> I<00:02:53.496> mean,<00:02:53.657> nowadays<00:02:54.683> everyone<00:02:55.886> in<00:02:56.063> business<00:02:56.545> should<00:02:56.786> have<00:02:57.026> some<00:02:57.332> sort<00:02:57.588> of<00:02:57.669> social<00:02:58.134> presence.

00:02:59.258 --> 00:03:16.953
And<00:02:59.772> it<00:02:59.901> doesn't<00:03:00.238> mean<00:03:00.944> that<00:03:01.362> you're<00:03:01.538> selling<00:03:01.988> a<00:03:02.084> product<00:03:02.710> or,<00:03:03.754> you<00:03:03.867> know,<00:03:04.589> if<00:03:04.734> there's<00:03:05.199> an<00:03:05.376> end<00:03:05.681> goal,<00:03:06.805> you<00:03:06.901> know,<00:03:07.126> there,<00:03:07.463> you<00:03:07.608> just<00:03:07.768> have<00:03:07.929> to<00:03:07.993> have<00:03:08.089> some<00:03:08.282> sort<00:03:08.491> of<00:03:08.571> presence<00:03:08.973> because<00:03:09.711> everyone's<00:03:10.113> going<00:03:10.193> to<00:03:10.273> just<00:03:10.498> look<00:03:10.658> you<00:03:10.755> up<00:03:10.915> on<00:03:11.477> whether<00:03:11.702> it's<00:03:11.863> LinkedIn<00:03:12.585> or<00:03:13.324> Instagram,<00:03:14.994> being<00:03:15.186> thoughtful<00:03:15.652> and<00:03:15.732> curated<00:03:16.198> with<00:03:16.278> that<00:03:16.455> content.

00:03:17.499 --> 00:03:20.678
So<00:03:19.024> they<00:03:19.249> also<00:03:19.409> want<00:03:19.490> to<00:03:19.570> know<00:03:19.747> who<00:03:19.827> you<00:03:19.971> are<00:03:20.068> as<00:03:20.164> a<00:03:20.228> person.

00:03:21.432 --> 00:03:24.975
I<00:03:21.512> share<00:03:21.817> a<00:03:21.833> lot<00:03:22.057> about<00:03:22.218> my<00:03:22.394> family<00:03:23.259> and<00:03:23.356> what<00:03:23.468> I'm<00:03:23.676> doing<00:03:23.981> in<00:03:24.061> my<00:03:24.237> everyday<00:03:24.638> life.

00:03:25.103 --> 00:03:31.034
I<00:03:25.135> mean,<00:03:25.279> it's<00:03:25.424> kind<00:03:25.584> of<00:03:25.680> boring<00:03:26.065> when<00:03:26.177> I'm<00:03:26.257> sitting<00:03:26.562> on<00:03:26.642> a<00:03:26.658> Zoom<00:03:27.027> all<00:03:27.187> day,<00:03:27.780> so<00:03:27.860> I'm<00:03:28.004> not<00:03:28.389> sharing<00:03:28.886> that<00:03:29.127> much<00:03:29.912> in<00:03:30.008> terms<00:03:30.329> of<00:03:30.409> my<00:03:30.633> business.

00:03:31.130 --> 00:03:42.672
But<00:03:31.307> then<00:03:31.707> I'll<00:03:32.477> share,<00:03:33.455> you<00:03:33.551> know,<00:03:34.000> my<00:03:34.176> thoughts<00:03:34.721> on<00:03:35.202> the<00:03:35.282> influencer<00:03:36.741> landscape<00:03:37.687> or<00:03:38.408> press<00:03:38.665> that<00:03:38.809> I've<00:03:38.985> done,<00:03:39.530> things<00:03:39.707> like<00:03:39.947> that,<00:03:40.268> but<00:03:40.412> really<00:03:40.668> give<00:03:40.909> people<00:03:41.213> a<00:03:41.294> peek<00:03:41.534> into<00:03:41.694> my<00:03:41.871> personal<00:03:42.287> life.

00:03:43.073 --> 00:03:44.067
That's<00:03:43.313> not<00:03:43.474> for<00:03:43.634> everyone.

00:03:45.237 --> 00:03:47.850
LinkedIn<00:03:45.654> is<00:03:45.782> a<00:03:45.878> great<00:03:46.183> place,<00:03:46.584> obviously,<00:03:47.000> for<00:03:47.113> CEOs.

00:03:48.106 --> 00:04:00.197
I<00:03:48.924> try<00:03:49.100> to<00:03:49.229> be<00:03:49.325> consistent<00:03:49.870> with<00:03:50.030> my<00:03:50.190> content<00:03:50.671> there<00:03:51.072> and<00:03:51.168> provide<00:03:51.569> value<00:03:52.066> for<00:03:52.290> other<00:03:53.413> people<00:03:53.669> in<00:03:53.814> business<00:03:54.760> and<00:03:55.738> using<00:03:56.059> that<00:03:56.364> as<00:03:56.476> a<00:03:56.604> tool<00:03:57.021> to<00:03:57.903> generate<00:03:59.106> business<00:03:59.491> opportunities.

00:04:00.710 --> 00:04:04.928
But<00:04:00.870> really<00:04:01.255> where<00:04:01.512> a<00:04:01.528> lot<00:04:01.752> of<00:04:01.832> our<00:04:01.977> content<00:04:02.474> lives<00:04:03.019> is<00:04:03.276> the<00:04:03.372> Digital<00:04:03.677> Department's<00:04:04.559> handle.

00:04:06.259 --> 00:04:18.399
So<00:04:06.467> we're<00:04:06.563> doing<00:04:06.948> lots<00:04:07.269> of<00:04:07.429> different<00:04:07.702> sort<00:04:07.910> of<00:04:07.991> content<00:04:08.408> there,<00:04:08.648> whether<00:04:08.905> it's<00:04:09.065> talking<00:04:09.434> about<00:04:09.626> our<00:04:09.771> talent,<00:04:10.813> talking<00:04:11.214> about,<00:04:12.738> you<00:04:12.818> know,<00:04:12.962> tips<00:04:13.235> and<00:04:13.315> tricks<00:04:13.620> in<00:04:13.700> the<00:04:13.860> industry,<00:04:14.967> how<00:04:15.143> to<00:04:15.288> grow<00:04:15.544> as<00:04:15.689> a<00:04:15.769> creator,<00:04:16.667> what<00:04:16.891> brands<00:04:17.212> are<00:04:17.244> spending<00:04:17.725> in<00:04:17.790> the<00:04:17.886> space.

00:04:18.912 --> 00:04:20.387
And<00:04:19.072> on<00:04:19.217> what<00:04:19.377> types<00:04:19.650> of<00:04:19.794> creators.

00:04:20.436 --> 00:04:23.499
So<00:04:20.580> we<00:04:20.676> give<00:04:20.836> a<00:04:20.917> lot<00:04:21.173> of<00:04:21.863> valuable<00:04:22.825> tips<00:04:23.322> there.

00:04:24.525 --> 00:04:27.059
And<00:04:24.621> then<00:04:24.717> I'll<00:04:24.926> repost<00:04:25.407> some<00:04:25.583> of<00:04:25.663> them<00:04:25.888> for<00:04:26.000> my<00:04:26.209> personal<00:04:26.610> channels.

00:04:27.476 --> 00:04:41.219
But<00:04:27.572> I<00:04:27.716> think<00:04:27.973> as<00:04:28.374> a<00:04:28.390> CEO<00:04:29.095> of<00:04:29.159> a<00:04:29.240> product<00:04:30.041> or<00:04:30.378> service,<00:04:32.126> really<00:04:32.367> having<00:04:32.607> the<00:04:32.639> meat<00:04:32.944> of<00:04:33.104> that<00:04:33.425> content<00:04:33.986> live<00:04:34.227> on<00:04:34.371> your<00:04:34.692> brand<00:04:35.189> profile,<00:04:36.376> and<00:04:36.472> then<00:04:36.632> you<00:04:36.777> can<00:04:36.937> kind<00:04:37.097> of<00:04:37.194> reshare<00:04:37.675> that<00:04:37.835> content<00:04:38.476> as<00:04:38.637> well,<00:04:39.038> but<00:04:39.743> always<00:04:40.000> providing<00:04:40.321> value,<00:04:40.946> right?

00:04:41.283 --> 00:04:44.586
And<00:04:41.427> being<00:04:41.668> authentic,<00:04:42.470> providing<00:04:42.886> value<00:04:43.352> to<00:04:43.512> anyone<00:04:43.945> following<00:04:44.490> you.

00:04:45.533 --> 00:04:50.963
That's<00:04:45.838> a,<00:04:46.096> that's<00:04:46.336> how<00:04:46.513> it's,<00:04:46.947> how<00:04:47.043> you're<00:04:47.140> going<00:04:47.220> to<00:04:47.365> build<00:04:47.606> your<00:04:47.702> following<00:04:48.505> and<00:04:48.730> create<00:04:49.308> virality<00:04:50.096> and<00:04:50.337> shares.

00:04:51.702 --> 00:04:54.899
How<00:04:51.879> can<00:04:52.039> something<00:04:52.425> be<00:04:53.228> of<00:04:53.389> value<00:04:53.710> to<00:04:53.790> someone<00:04:54.192> else<00:04:54.369> that's<00:04:54.594> watching?

00:04:55.429 --> 00:05:01.003
So<00:04:56.200> what<00:04:56.296> type<00:04:56.602> of<00:04:56.698> influencers<00:04:57.244> do<00:04:57.341> you<00:04:57.485> work<00:04:57.742> with<00:04:58.144> and<00:04:58.288> how<00:04:58.546> do<00:04:58.690> you<00:04:58.867> pair<00:04:59.252> them<00:04:59.429> with<00:04:59.654> the<00:04:59.815> right<00:05:00.216> opportunities?

00:05:01.341 --> 00:05:03.799
Yeah,<00:05:01.598> we<00:05:01.742> have<00:05:01.935> about<00:05:02.256> 300<00:05:03.028> on<00:05:03.060> our<00:05:03.268> roster.

00:05:04.152 --> 00:05:12.329
I<00:05:04.714> would<00:05:04.811> say<00:05:05.855> 20%<00:05:06.803> are<00:05:06.899> more<00:05:07.060> in<00:05:07.140> that<00:05:07.236> celebrity<00:05:07.927> tier,<00:05:08.506> whether<00:05:08.746> it's<00:05:08.907> reality<00:05:09.469> TV,<00:05:10.273> musicians,<00:05:11.060> actors,<00:05:11.622> actresses.

00:05:12.907 --> 00:05:14.257
Professional<00:05:13.630> dancers.

00:05:14.594 --> 00:05:18.723
We<00:05:14.691> have<00:05:14.851> about<00:05:15.173> another<00:05:15.494> 20%<00:05:16.201> that<00:05:16.297> are—<00:05:16.378> it's<00:05:17.502> a<00:05:17.566> new<00:05:17.727> acquisition<00:05:18.225> we<00:05:18.386> made.

00:05:18.852 --> 00:05:21.567
It's<00:05:19.093> skincare<00:05:19.992> and<00:05:20.153> dermatologists,<00:05:21.422> which—.

00:05:21.985 --> 00:05:22.483
Oh,<00:05:22.161> interesting—.

00:05:22.483 --> 00:05:24.523
Surprising,<00:05:23.125> but<00:05:23.286> they<00:05:23.447> do<00:05:23.688> extremely<00:05:24.395> well.

00:05:24.877 --> 00:05:29.584
They<00:05:25.037> have<00:05:25.294> that<00:05:25.535> expertise,<00:05:26.499> and,<00:05:27.528> um,<00:05:28.347> a<00:05:28.363> lot<00:05:28.524> of<00:05:28.572> brands<00:05:28.893> love<00:05:28.990> working<00:05:29.295> with<00:05:29.391> them.

00:05:30.178 --> 00:05:35.753
And<00:05:30.259> then<00:05:30.693> the<00:05:30.821> rest<00:05:31.142> are<00:05:31.239> like<00:05:31.544> traditional<00:05:31.962> content<00:05:32.283> creators—<00:05:32.829> fashion,<00:05:33.231> beauty,<00:05:33.552> lifestyle—<00:05:34.597> with<00:05:34.645> some<00:05:34.854> foodie<00:05:35.159> creators.

00:05:35.882 --> 00:05:40.250
And,<00:05:36.685> um,<00:05:37.826> for<00:05:38.051> us,<00:05:38.469> we<00:05:38.629> look<00:05:38.854> at<00:05:39.256> as<00:05:39.352> a<00:05:39.432> team,<00:05:39.977> right?

00:05:40.298 --> 00:05:45.623
So<00:05:41.357> the<00:05:41.453> talent<00:05:42.078> typically<00:05:42.543> get<00:05:42.960> inbound<00:05:43.425> opportunities<00:05:44.163> of<00:05:44.324> brands<00:05:44.724> wanting<00:05:44.965> to<00:05:45.045> work<00:05:45.286> with<00:05:45.430> them.

00:05:45.671 --> 00:05:55.085
So<00:05:45.847> we<00:05:45.991> help<00:05:46.473> negotiate<00:05:47.451> the<00:05:47.595> best<00:05:47.836> opportunity<00:05:48.670> for<00:05:48.878> our<00:05:49.039> talent,<00:05:49.856> but<00:05:50.001> also,<00:05:51.204> you<00:05:51.236> know,<00:05:51.476> the<00:05:51.556> brand's<00:05:51.877> happy<00:05:52.182> and<00:05:52.262> wants<00:05:52.454> to<00:05:52.583> continue<00:05:52.968> working<00:05:53.224> with<00:05:53.385> them,<00:05:53.705> make<00:05:53.866> it<00:05:53.946> a<00:05:54.026> long-term<00:05:54.427> relationship.

00:05:55.373 --> 00:05:58.885
And<00:05:55.453> then<00:05:56.015> my<00:05:56.175> old<00:05:56.352> PR<00:05:56.753> days,<00:05:57.234> I,<00:05:57.715> you<00:05:57.795> know,<00:05:58.260> know<00:05:58.436> how<00:05:58.517> to<00:05:58.677> pitch.

00:05:59.014 --> 00:06:03.023
So<00:05:59.463> I<00:05:59.639> really<00:06:00.762> push<00:06:01.002> the<00:06:01.083> team<00:06:01.339> to<00:06:01.419> do<00:06:01.580> a<00:06:01.628> lot<00:06:01.804> of<00:06:01.949> outbound<00:06:02.366> pitches<00:06:02.750> as<00:06:02.847> well.

00:06:03.183 --> 00:06:19.018
So<00:06:05.092> You<00:06:05.172> know,<00:06:05.557> we<00:06:06.215> typically,<00:06:06.680> when<00:06:06.841> we<00:06:06.937> sign<00:06:07.194> a<00:06:07.322> talent,<00:06:07.739> we<00:06:08.060> go<00:06:08.237> through<00:06:08.445> their<00:06:08.606> dream<00:06:09.167> wishlist<00:06:09.664> of<00:06:09.825> brands<00:06:10.146> that<00:06:10.226> they<00:06:10.386> organically<00:06:11.012> use,<00:06:11.734> have<00:06:11.894> them<00:06:12.055> take<00:06:12.247> photos<00:06:12.793> of<00:06:13.018> everything<00:06:13.435> around<00:06:13.659> their<00:06:13.836> house,<00:06:14.301> whether<00:06:14.542> it's<00:06:14.718> under<00:06:14.943> their<00:06:15.921> sink<00:06:16.627> or<00:06:16.884> in<00:06:16.964> their<00:06:17.125> bathroom,<00:06:17.847> what<00:06:18.023> makeup<00:06:18.392> they're<00:06:18.569> using.

00:06:19.210 --> 00:06:23.702
And<00:06:19.611> we<00:06:19.708> use<00:06:19.916> that<00:06:20.109> as<00:06:20.237> our<00:06:20.398> target<00:06:20.734> list<00:06:21.136> of<00:06:21.216> brands<00:06:21.601> to<00:06:21.697> reach<00:06:21.922> out<00:06:22.098> to,<00:06:22.339> to<00:06:22.499> start<00:06:22.820> that<00:06:23.045> relationship.

00:06:23.799 --> 00:06:27.360
Sometimes<00:06:24.264> it<00:06:24.344> starts<00:06:24.665> with<00:06:24.826> just<00:06:24.938> sending<00:06:25.307> product<00:06:25.804> and<00:06:25.933> they<00:06:26.093> organically<00:06:26.654> talk<00:06:26.911> about<00:06:27.216> it.

00:06:28.034 --> 00:06:30.361
Sometimes<00:06:28.532> it<00:06:28.660> turns<00:06:28.917> into<00:06:29.061> a<00:06:29.157> paid<00:06:29.382> campaign<00:06:29.799> right<00:06:30.024> away.

00:06:31.082 --> 00:06:33.053
But<00:06:31.403> it<00:06:31.563> really<00:06:31.883> is<00:06:32.027> a<00:06:32.108> relationship<00:06:32.684> business.

00:06:33.165 --> 00:06:42.556
So,<00:06:34.191> you<00:06:34.271> know,<00:06:34.543> it's<00:06:34.752> attending<00:06:35.088> their<00:06:35.248> events,<00:06:35.665> it's<00:06:35.873> getting<00:06:36.114> their<00:06:36.210> product<00:06:36.771> and<00:06:36.995> sharing<00:06:37.396> organically,<00:06:38.213> and<00:06:38.437> then<00:06:38.630> it<00:06:38.694> could<00:06:38.918> turn<00:06:39.110> into<00:06:40.040> a<00:06:40.136> larger<00:06:40.777> partnership<00:06:41.274> for<00:06:41.482> that<00:06:42.059> talent.

00:06:42.764 --> 00:06:49.238
But<00:06:43.261> we<00:06:43.405> like<00:06:43.581> to<00:06:43.661> kind<00:06:43.886> of<00:06:44.366> take<00:06:44.527> what<00:06:44.607> they're<00:06:44.799> using<00:06:45.087> already<00:06:45.648> and<00:06:45.808> turn<00:06:46.049> that<00:06:46.225> into<00:06:46.481> something<00:06:47.331> paid<00:06:47.812> and<00:06:48.212> meaningful<00:06:48.549> for<00:06:48.709> both<00:06:48.933> sides.

00:06:49.670 --> 00:06:56.769
Give<00:06:49.766> us<00:06:49.927> a<00:06:49.991> sense<00:06:50.391> for<00:06:51.032> what<00:06:51.273> makes<00:06:51.513> a<00:06:51.593> great<00:06:51.850> event,<00:06:52.378> a<00:06:52.394> great<00:06:52.699> experience,<00:06:53.340> whether<00:06:53.532> small,<00:06:54.013> medium,<00:06:54.542> large,<00:06:55.519> and<00:06:55.599> how<00:06:55.840> you<00:06:56.000> think<00:06:56.240> about<00:06:56.481> events.

00:06:57.187 --> 00:07:02.356
Yeah,<00:06:57.589> this<00:06:57.702> is<00:06:57.783> a<00:06:57.847> great<00:06:58.008> question<00:06:58.378> because<00:06:59.055> our<00:06:59.200> event<00:06:59.457> division<00:06:59.940> here<00:07:00.810> does<00:07:00.987> such<00:07:01.213> a<00:07:01.470> wonderful<00:07:01.889> job.

00:07:03.016 --> 00:07:19.864
I<00:07:03.145> think<00:07:03.322> first<00:07:04.031> is<00:07:05.078> having<00:07:05.416> a<00:07:05.496> beautiful<00:07:05.964> event<00:07:06.382> that<00:07:06.608> has<00:07:07.108> touchpoints<00:07:07.899> that<00:07:08.076> you<00:07:08.334> leave<00:07:08.802> that<00:07:08.979> event<00:07:09.754> talking<00:07:10.157> about<00:07:10.415> it<00:07:10.495> for<00:07:10.608> months<00:07:10.963> to<00:07:11.060> come,<00:07:11.528> telling<00:07:11.786> your<00:07:11.947> friends,<00:07:14.208> you<00:07:14.304> know,<00:07:14.529> talking<00:07:14.850> about<00:07:15.092> this<00:07:15.252> little<00:07:15.509> feature<00:07:15.991> that<00:07:16.136> happened<00:07:16.634> or<00:07:16.731> this<00:07:17.020> giveaway<00:07:17.743> or<00:07:17.984> this<00:07:18.707> amazing<00:07:19.206> gift<00:07:19.447> bag.

00:07:19.993 --> 00:07:28.217
Or<00:07:20.893> maybe<00:07:21.134> there<00:07:21.311> is<00:07:21.520> a,<00:07:22.484> you<00:07:22.580> know,<00:07:23.253> fun<00:07:23.481> performance<00:07:24.148> that<00:07:24.295> happened,<00:07:24.799> but<00:07:25.043> something<00:07:25.450> that's<00:07:25.613> memorable<00:07:26.427> that<00:07:26.589> people<00:07:26.915> will<00:07:26.996> continue<00:07:27.468> to<00:07:27.566> talk<00:07:27.826> about.

00:07:29.360 --> 00:07:31.117
Second<00:07:29.795> would<00:07:29.956> be<00:07:30.520> the<00:07:30.665> production.

00:07:32.132 --> 00:07:33.551
Don't<00:07:32.374> skimp<00:07:32.761> on<00:07:32.858> the<00:07:32.939> production.

00:07:33.970 --> 00:07:38.355
There's<00:07:34.212> lots<00:07:34.470> of<00:07:34.551> ways<00:07:34.857> you<00:07:34.954> can<00:07:35.115> do<00:07:35.341> it<00:07:35.663> that<00:07:35.905> aren't<00:07:36.163> that<00:07:36.485> expensive<00:07:37.130> but<00:07:37.291> make<00:07:37.453> such<00:07:37.694> an<00:07:37.856> impact.

00:07:40.097 --> 00:07:41.421
And<00:07:40.194> then<00:07:40.436> also,<00:07:40.824> who<00:07:40.985> else<00:07:41.163> is<00:07:41.243> there?

00:07:41.566 --> 00:07:42.664
Like,<00:07:41.792> who's<00:07:42.051> in<00:07:42.147> the<00:07:42.293> room?

00:07:42.712 --> 00:07:49.043
So<00:07:42.874> that's<00:07:43.100> another<00:07:43.423> part<00:07:43.600> of<00:07:43.730> the<00:07:43.826> events<00:07:44.149> is<00:07:44.311> curating<00:07:45.425> who<00:07:45.586> you're<00:07:45.748> going<00:07:45.828> to<00:07:45.925> be<00:07:46.022> networking<00:07:46.652> with<00:07:47.217> and<00:07:47.362> who<00:07:47.459> you're<00:07:47.588> meeting<00:07:47.927> with<00:07:48.250> while<00:07:48.589> at<00:07:48.750> the<00:07:48.880> event.

00:07:49.173 --> 00:07:52.532
So<00:07:50.298> we<00:07:50.461> actually<00:07:50.706> have<00:07:50.787> our<00:07:51.016> own<00:07:51.260> events<00:07:51.668> called<00:07:51.929> Brand<00:07:52.320> Edit.

00:07:52.663 --> 00:07:53.022
We<00:07:52.695> do<00:07:52.744> those<00:07:52.793> 4<00:07:52.842> times<00:07:52.907> a<00:07:52.924> year.

00:07:55.785 --> 00:08:02.173
We<00:07:56.026> typically<00:07:56.507> align<00:07:56.893> it<00:07:57.053> with<00:07:57.535> New<00:07:57.615> York<00:07:57.775> Fashion<00:07:58.112> Week<00:07:58.514> or<00:07:59.139> Miami<00:07:59.476> Swim<00:07:59.862> Week<00:08:00.279> or<00:08:00.841> Nashville<00:08:01.258> CMA<00:08:01.803> Fest.

00:08:02.445 --> 00:08:04.323
So<00:08:02.542> it's<00:08:02.686> tied<00:08:03.087> to<00:08:03.248> more<00:08:03.408> of<00:08:03.489> a<00:08:03.569> cultural<00:08:03.986> event.

00:08:04.837 --> 00:08:13.134
And<00:08:05.398> over<00:08:05.575> 2<00:08:05.800> days<00:08:06.217> we<00:08:06.313> have<00:08:06.458> lots<00:08:06.698> of<00:08:06.779> brands<00:08:07.164> come<00:08:07.404> in,<00:08:07.725> activate,<00:08:08.769> and<00:08:09.266> we<00:08:09.427> bring<00:08:09.603> in<00:08:09.667> 150<00:08:10.373> influencers<00:08:11.256> over<00:08:11.433> those<00:08:11.673> 2<00:08:11.834> days<00:08:12.155> to<00:08:12.283> meet<00:08:12.476> with<00:08:12.620> the<00:08:12.717> brands.

00:08:13.679 --> 00:08:20.709
But<00:08:13.776> the<00:08:13.904> influencers<00:08:14.482> love<00:08:14.642> it<00:08:14.674> because<00:08:14.867> they,<00:08:15.044> they<00:08:15.204> get<00:08:15.589> to<00:08:16.087> meet<00:08:16.247> the<00:08:16.392> person<00:08:16.665> behind<00:08:16.969> the<00:08:17.050> brand,<00:08:17.451> experience<00:08:18.173> the<00:08:18.253> product,<00:08:19.216> get<00:08:19.457> to<00:08:19.521> take<00:08:19.714> it<00:08:19.778> home<00:08:20.019> and<00:08:20.099> try<00:08:20.500> it.

00:08:21.062 --> 00:08:28.345
But<00:08:21.286> also<00:08:22.265> it's<00:08:22.425> kind<00:08:22.650> of<00:08:22.746> turned<00:08:22.987> into<00:08:23.163> this<00:08:23.388> viral<00:08:23.709> hashtag<00:08:24.415> where<00:08:25.057> you've<00:08:25.217> got<00:08:25.345> to<00:08:25.474> be<00:08:25.618> at<00:08:25.698> the<00:08:25.778> Brand<00:08:26.099> Edit<00:08:26.340> event<00:08:26.998> and<00:08:27.078> everyone's<00:08:27.399> searching<00:08:27.784> who's<00:08:28.024> there.

00:08:28.522 --> 00:08:43.105
And<00:08:30.126> it's,<00:08:30.447> it's<00:08:30.607> just<00:08:30.848> turned<00:08:31.153> into<00:08:31.426> this<00:08:32.115> really<00:08:32.517> exciting<00:08:33.559> event<00:08:33.896> that<00:08:34.057> everyone's<00:08:34.378> really<00:08:34.618> looking<00:08:34.859> forward<00:08:35.260> to<00:08:35.436> because<00:08:35.741> they<00:08:35.837> know<00:08:36.624> they're<00:08:36.720> going<00:08:36.816> to<00:08:36.928> get<00:08:37.025> incredible<00:08:37.506> photos<00:08:38.051> there,<00:08:38.789> great<00:08:39.030> backdrops,<00:08:40.137> great<00:08:40.715> networking,<00:08:41.822> people<00:08:42.030> to<00:08:42.094> meet.

00:08:43.442 --> 00:08:46.811
So<00:08:43.618> it's<00:08:43.763> been<00:08:43.923> really<00:08:44.100> fun<00:08:44.388> watching<00:08:44.645> that<00:08:44.886> grow<00:08:45.351> over<00:08:45.431> the<00:08:45.527> last<00:08:45.848> few<00:08:46.073> years<00:08:46.394> as<00:08:46.554> well.

00:08:47.196 --> 00:08:51.781
Give<00:08:47.308> us<00:08:47.468> a<00:08:47.516> sense<00:08:47.773> for<00:08:47.869> how<00:08:48.238> AI<00:08:48.655> is<00:08:48.799> changing<00:08:49.520> your<00:08:49.777> business<00:08:50.402> in<00:08:50.562> the<00:08:50.658> influencer<00:08:51.284> landscape.

00:08:51.877 --> 00:08:54.249
It's<00:08:52.342> pretty,<00:08:53.384> pretty<00:08:53.624> wild.

00:08:54.810 --> 00:08:58.113
Luckily,<00:08:55.307> we<00:08:55.532> are<00:08:56.365> very<00:08:56.830> relationship-based.

00:08:58.994 --> 00:09:04.910
You<00:08:59.091> know,<00:08:59.299> the<00:08:59.395> talent<00:08:59.876> is<00:08:59.972> signed<00:09:00.838> with<00:09:01.159> TDD<00:09:01.864> and<00:09:02.024> a<00:09:02.120> manager,<00:09:02.601> and<00:09:02.746> they<00:09:02.842> have<00:09:03.082> a<00:09:03.162> really<00:09:03.804> personal<00:09:04.285> relationship.

00:09:05.006 --> 00:09:12.653
It's<00:09:05.567> daily<00:09:05.968> texts<00:09:06.385> and<00:09:06.529> phone<00:09:06.833> calls<00:09:07.314> and<00:09:07.651> meeting<00:09:07.907> in<00:09:08.052> person,<00:09:08.613> and<00:09:08.709> it's<00:09:09.334> really<00:09:09.559> strategizing<00:09:10.761> how<00:09:10.937> to<00:09:11.098> build<00:09:11.258> their<00:09:11.418> business<00:09:11.835> and<00:09:11.963> grow<00:09:12.140> their<00:09:12.300> career.

00:09:13.406 --> 00:09:14.720
But<00:09:13.566> AI<00:09:13.807> has<00:09:13.983> helped<00:09:14.239> us<00:09:14.384> a<00:09:14.464> lot.

00:09:14.800 --> 00:09:23.680
You<00:09:14.881> know,<00:09:16.051> it<00:09:16.147> helps,<00:09:17.974> you<00:09:18.054> know,<00:09:18.375> create<00:09:18.904> strategies<00:09:20.058> for<00:09:20.154> them<00:09:20.395> that<00:09:20.539> we<00:09:20.699> might<00:09:20.811> not<00:09:21.116> have<00:09:21.260> thought<00:09:21.581> of<00:09:21.853> that<00:09:21.981> we<00:09:22.078> can<00:09:22.302> pull<00:09:22.478> inspiration<00:09:23.135> from.

00:09:24.386 --> 00:09:27.431
You<00:09:24.482> can<00:09:24.626> figure<00:09:24.867> out<00:09:25.107> what<00:09:25.604> is<00:09:25.748> going<00:09:26.021> viral<00:09:26.646> at<00:09:26.790> the<00:09:26.870> moment.

00:09:27.527 --> 00:09:29.323
I<00:09:27.543> mean,<00:09:27.768> it<00:09:27.848> saves<00:09:28.249> so<00:09:28.489> much<00:09:28.730> time.

00:09:29.996 --> 00:09:31.743
You<00:09:30.076> can<00:09:30.236> find<00:09:30.493> contacts<00:09:31.198> to<00:09:31.358> pitch.

00:09:32.416 --> 00:09:40.639
Like,<00:09:33.057> I<00:09:33.073> mean,<00:09:33.442> I'm<00:09:33.538> on<00:09:33.682> ChatGPT<00:09:34.404> all<00:09:34.516> the<00:09:34.644> time<00:09:34.981> just<00:09:35.285> asking<00:09:36.247> all<00:09:36.327> kinds<00:09:36.600> of<00:09:36.728> questions<00:09:37.449> and<00:09:37.786> it's<00:09:37.946> just<00:09:38.571> helped<00:09:38.972> us<00:09:39.148> in<00:09:39.309> terms<00:09:39.613> of<00:09:39.886> saving<00:09:40.270> time.

00:09:41.216 --> 00:09:46.840
And<00:09:41.729> not<00:09:42.049> having<00:09:42.337> to<00:09:42.434> put<00:09:42.674> together<00:09:44.340> a<00:09:44.372> full<00:09:44.837> document<00:09:45.558> that<00:09:45.718> takes<00:09:46.263> half<00:09:46.519> a<00:09:46.600> day.

00:09:47.545 --> 00:09:49.452
It<00:09:47.641> can<00:09:47.785> be<00:09:47.881> done<00:09:48.602> in<00:09:48.683> a<00:09:48.747> few<00:09:48.939> seconds.

00:09:50.365 --> 00:09:54.691
On<00:09:50.445> the<00:09:50.525> flip<00:09:50.766> side,<00:09:51.166> we<00:09:51.310> have<00:09:51.567> seen<00:09:51.951> AI<00:09:53.409> become<00:09:53.746> a<00:09:53.810> talent<00:09:54.194> manager.

00:09:54.851 --> 00:09:58.376
There<00:09:55.012> is<00:09:55.172> an<00:09:55.396> AI<00:09:55.973> talent<00:09:56.438> management<00:09:56.934> agency,<00:09:57.415> which<00:09:57.591> is<00:09:57.816> wild.

00:09:58.841 --> 00:10:00.988
And<00:09:59.802> it's<00:10:00.556> a<00:10:00.620> computer.

00:10:01.116 --> 00:10:06.099
So<00:10:02.062> if<00:10:02.222> talent<00:10:02.606> want<00:10:02.751> to<00:10:02.783> sign<00:10:03.183> with<00:10:03.279> that<00:10:03.504> person,<00:10:04.465> they<00:10:04.609> have<00:10:04.802> to<00:10:04.882> know<00:10:05.186> it's<00:10:05.811> AI.

00:10:06.452 --> 00:10:08.279
It's<00:10:06.628> not<00:10:06.853> an<00:10:06.933> actual<00:10:07.253> person<00:10:07.654> on<00:10:07.750> the<00:10:07.894> other<00:10:08.134> end.

00:10:09.897 --> 00:10:20.937
But<00:10:10.474> you<00:10:10.570> know,<00:10:10.794> maybe<00:10:11.035> that's<00:10:11.275> for<00:10:11.435> some<00:10:11.676> people,<00:10:12.076> but<00:10:12.236> I<00:10:12.397> think<00:10:12.621> a<00:10:12.637> lot<00:10:12.877> of<00:10:12.957> our<00:10:13.118> talent<00:10:13.518> just<00:10:13.839> like<00:10:14.079> that<00:10:14.319> personal<00:10:14.720> touch<00:10:15.121> and<00:10:15.265> the<00:10:15.361> white<00:10:15.601> glove<00:10:15.826> service<00:10:16.402> and<00:10:16.883> having<00:10:17.124> a<00:10:17.188> person<00:10:17.588> that<00:10:17.684> they<00:10:17.845> can<00:10:18.005> really<00:10:18.309> rely<00:10:18.710> on<00:10:19.191> and<00:10:19.848> talk<00:10:20.152> through<00:10:20.344> things<00:10:20.649> with.

00:10:21.354 --> 00:10:23.934
But<00:10:22.091> there's<00:10:22.267> definitely<00:10:22.716> competition<00:10:23.196> out<00:10:23.293> there<00:10:23.453> with<00:10:23.613> AI.

00:10:24.334 --> 00:10:28.388
Well,<00:10:24.462> the<00:10:24.558> crazy<00:10:24.895> thing<00:10:25.215> too<00:10:25.456> is<00:10:25.680> like,<00:10:26.658> people<00:10:26.882> are<00:10:27.042> creating<00:10:27.443> AI<00:10:27.779> influencers.

00:10:28.885 --> 00:10:29.382
Mm-hmm.

00:10:30.006 --> 00:10:31.032
They're<00:10:30.167> not<00:10:30.407> real<00:10:30.583> people.

00:10:31.208 --> 00:10:31.529
Yeah.

00:10:31.689 --> 00:10:32.634
And<00:10:31.785> they're<00:10:31.881> making<00:10:32.186> lots<00:10:32.410> of<00:10:32.442> money.

00:10:33.003 --> 00:10:35.903
And<00:10:33.211> it's<00:10:33.692> just<00:10:34.092> like,<00:10:35.070> it's<00:10:35.214> not<00:10:35.326> a<00:10:35.390> real<00:10:35.535> person.

00:10:36.577 --> 00:10:38.568
Yeah,<00:10:36.978> uh,<00:10:37.621> which<00:10:37.813> is<00:10:38.022> crazy.

00:10:38.841 --> 00:10:44.284
And<00:10:38.985> so<00:10:39.162> I<00:10:39.307> wonder<00:10:39.644> like<00:10:39.949> how—<00:10:41.073> I<00:10:41.105> don't<00:10:41.410> know<00:10:41.651> what<00:10:41.876> all<00:10:42.036> of<00:10:42.133> this<00:10:42.438> means<00:10:43.176> for<00:10:43.578> society.

00:10:44.364 --> 00:10:48.812
Like<00:10:44.557> it<00:10:44.686> almost<00:10:45.007> kind<00:10:45.119> of,<00:10:45.665> you<00:10:45.745> know,<00:10:46.227> ups<00:10:46.468> at<00:10:46.548> a<00:10:46.564> level<00:10:46.869> beyond<00:10:47.255> like<00:10:47.913> future<00:10:48.234> of<00:10:48.395> influencer.

00:10:48.860 --> 00:10:55.171
Like<00:10:49.021> what<00:10:49.133> does<00:10:49.262> this<00:10:49.438> mean<00:10:49.599> if<00:10:49.679> we're<00:10:49.824> all<00:10:50.000> just<00:10:50.241> like<00:10:51.044> have<00:10:51.205> our<00:10:51.429> own<00:10:51.750> fake<00:10:52.312> avatars<00:10:53.131> following<00:10:53.774> each<00:10:53.998> other<00:10:54.175> and<00:10:54.255> talking<00:10:54.576> to<00:10:54.721> each<00:10:54.898> other?

00:10:55.363 --> 00:10:56.680
And<00:10:55.492> like,<00:10:55.700> what<00:10:55.845> are<00:10:55.941> we<00:10:56.102> doing?

00:10:57.290 --> 00:11:00.806
Yeah,<00:10:57.707> kind<00:10:58.173> of<00:10:58.334> turning<00:10:59.153> into<00:10:59.393> the—<00:10:59.859> what<00:11:00.020> is<00:11:00.116> it,<00:11:00.277> The<00:11:00.357> Sims?

00:11:00.935 --> 00:11:01.320
Yeah.

00:11:01.882 --> 00:11:03.085
Yeah,<00:11:02.267> it<00:11:02.347> is<00:11:02.588> wild.

00:11:03.165 --> 00:11:08.746
And<00:11:03.470> I'm<00:11:03.630> surprised<00:11:04.352> that<00:11:04.448> some<00:11:04.688> of<00:11:04.769> these<00:11:04.993> AI<00:11:05.330> influencers<00:11:05.891> are<00:11:06.116> actually<00:11:06.453> making<00:11:06.837> money<00:11:07.575> doing<00:11:08.120> brand<00:11:08.377> deals.

00:11:09.243 --> 00:11:10.237
Yeah,<00:11:09.403> it's<00:11:09.900> weird.

00:11:11.199 --> 00:11:13.348
It's<00:11:11.568> very,<00:11:11.985> very,<00:11:12.370> very<00:11:12.643> strange.

00:11:13.493 --> 00:11:17.245
And<00:11:13.669> I<00:11:13.830> wonder,<00:11:14.712> I'm<00:11:14.856> sure<00:11:15.016> there's<00:11:15.257> a<00:11:15.273> lot<00:11:15.578> of<00:11:15.754> like<00:11:16.476> fraud<00:11:16.861> in<00:11:16.957> there,<00:11:17.133> right?

00:11:17.358 --> 00:11:20.661
Because<00:11:17.662> I<00:11:17.743> bet<00:11:17.839> some<00:11:18.079> people<00:11:18.320> don't<00:11:18.480> even<00:11:18.641> know<00:11:18.801> that<00:11:19.138> it's<00:11:19.282> an<00:11:19.362> AI,<00:11:20.469> right?

00:11:21.046 --> 00:11:24.189
Which<00:11:21.431> would<00:11:21.752> be<00:11:22.714> just<00:11:23.051> a<00:11:23.131> whole<00:11:23.436> other<00:11:23.692> thing,<00:11:23.917> right?

00:11:24.975 --> 00:11:31.812
Give<00:11:25.072> me<00:11:25.216> a<00:11:25.232> sense<00:11:25.617> for<00:11:26.739> how<00:11:26.964> you<00:11:27.670> Well,<00:11:27.926> give<00:11:28.023> me<00:11:28.087> a<00:11:28.119> sense<00:11:28.344> for<00:11:28.424> like<00:11:28.569> what<00:11:28.665> a<00:11:28.729> typical<00:11:29.131> day<00:11:29.227> looks<00:11:29.452> like<00:11:29.693> for<00:11:29.789> you<00:11:29.950> and<00:11:30.014> how<00:11:30.191> you<00:11:30.335> go<00:11:30.496> about<00:11:31.459> each<00:11:31.636> day.

00:11:32.423 --> 00:11:32.824
Yeah.

00:11:34.317 --> 00:11:38.268
Typically<00:11:35.072> when<00:11:35.168> I<00:11:35.249> wake<00:11:35.490> up,<00:11:36.196> I<00:11:37.641> go<00:11:37.802> boxing.

00:11:38.525 --> 00:11:39.151
I<00:11:38.605> love<00:11:38.782> boxing.

00:11:39.360 --> 00:11:39.681
So—.

00:11:39.889 --> 00:11:40.082
Really?

00:11:40.227 --> 00:11:40.564
That's<00:11:40.484> awesome.

00:11:41.447 --> 00:11:51.869
I'll<00:11:41.576> do<00:11:41.672> my<00:11:41.832> workout,<00:11:42.475> clear<00:11:42.716> my<00:11:42.940> head,<00:11:44.562> get<00:11:44.723> back<00:11:44.964> home,<00:11:45.927> and<00:11:46.650> I<00:11:48.015> dive<00:11:48.320> into<00:11:48.641> emails<00:11:49.042> first,<00:11:49.926> kind<00:11:50.038> of<00:11:50.102> get<00:11:50.279> through<00:11:50.423> the<00:11:50.568> inbox,<00:11:51.291> all<00:11:51.451> of<00:11:51.547> that.

00:11:52.013 --> 00:11:59.616
And<00:11:52.109> then<00:11:53.137> usually<00:11:53.394> the<00:11:53.555> day<00:11:53.699> before,<00:11:54.052> I'll<00:11:54.261> kind<00:11:54.422> of<00:11:54.518> look<00:11:54.679> at<00:11:54.711> my<00:11:54.920> day<00:11:55.558> The<00:11:55.578> next<00:11:55.882> day,<00:11:57.068> you<00:11:57.148> know,<00:11:57.324> put<00:11:57.485> in<00:11:57.629> any<00:11:57.725> meeting<00:11:58.045> notes<00:11:58.526> and<00:11:58.767> kind<00:11:58.927> of<00:11:59.071> get<00:11:59.247> prepped.

00:12:00.193 --> 00:12:01.715
Um,<00:12:01.090> and<00:12:01.170> then<00:12:01.282> I'll<00:12:01.410> jump<00:12:01.651> in.

00:12:01.795 --> 00:12:14.390
I'm<00:12:01.891> usually<00:12:02.212> on<00:12:02.308> Zooms,<00:12:03.558> I<00:12:03.574> would<00:12:03.670> say,<00:12:03.814> 6<00:12:04.215> to<00:12:04.311> 7<00:12:04.679> hours<00:12:05.080> of<00:12:05.160> the<00:12:05.256> day,<00:12:05.961> um,<00:12:06.218> whether<00:12:06.458> that's<00:12:06.763> one-on-ones<00:12:07.500> with<00:12:07.724> team<00:12:07.964> members,<00:12:09.166> uh,<00:12:09.887> team<00:12:10.128> meetings,<00:12:10.849> talent<00:12:11.185> meetings,<00:12:11.906> brand<00:12:12.307> meet—<00:12:12.611> you<00:12:12.643> know,<00:12:13.445> it<00:12:13.573> runs<00:12:13.829> the<00:12:13.909> gamut.

00:12:14.550 --> 00:12:19.806
Every<00:12:14.775> day<00:12:14.887> is<00:12:15.031> a<00:12:15.047> little<00:12:15.255> bit<00:12:15.352> different,<00:12:16.297> um,<00:12:17.515> you<00:12:17.595> know,<00:12:18.252> so<00:12:18.412> it's<00:12:18.717> a<00:12:18.797> lot<00:12:19.133> of<00:12:19.293> Zooms.

00:12:20.383 --> 00:12:21.136
Um,<00:12:20.656> do<00:12:20.704> you<00:12:20.784> like<00:12:21.024> that?

00:12:21.264 --> 00:12:23.011
Do<00:12:21.296> you<00:12:21.441> like<00:12:22.082> being<00:12:22.306> on<00:12:22.418> Zoom<00:12:22.643> so<00:12:22.803> much?

00:12:23.428 --> 00:12:24.918
I'm<00:12:23.620> such<00:12:23.989> a<00:12:24.085> people<00:12:24.470> person.

00:12:25.046 --> 00:12:28.620
I<00:12:25.287> love<00:12:25.591> like,<00:12:25.848> get<00:12:26.072> me<00:12:26.168> at<00:12:26.264> an<00:12:26.393> event,<00:12:27.130> get<00:12:27.434> me<00:12:27.771> in<00:12:27.931> person.

00:12:29.197 --> 00:12:30.191
That's<00:12:29.454> where<00:12:29.598> I<00:12:29.790> thrive.

00:12:30.255 --> 00:12:34.293
So<00:12:30.656> it<00:12:30.800> is,<00:12:31.681> it's<00:12:31.857> a<00:12:31.922> lot<00:12:32.482> of<00:12:32.579> being<00:12:32.883> on<00:12:33.059> Zooms<00:12:33.460> and<00:12:33.508> I'm<00:12:33.620> kind<00:12:33.861> of<00:12:33.941> afraid.

00:12:34.342 --> 00:12:34.630
I<00:12:34.486> hate<00:12:34.566> it.

00:12:35.047 --> 00:12:36.345
I<00:12:35.207> hate<00:12:35.864> it.

00:12:36.569 --> 00:12:36.745
Yeah.

00:12:36.842 --> 00:12:42.435
It's,<00:12:37.226> it's<00:12:37.547> so<00:12:38.011> different<00:12:38.749> than<00:12:39.213> being<00:12:39.470> in<00:12:39.550> person<00:12:40.047> and<00:12:40.111> just<00:12:40.335> having<00:12:40.592> a<00:12:40.672> conversation<00:12:41.313> and<00:12:41.393> building<00:12:41.774> a<00:12:41.794> relationship.

00:12:43.060 --> 00:12:46.249
Um,<00:12:43.621> but<00:12:43.701> our<00:12:43.877> team's<00:12:44.181> remote,<00:12:44.694> so<00:12:45.079> people<00:12:45.303> are<00:12:45.544> all<00:12:45.704> over<00:12:45.864> the<00:12:45.960> place.

00:12:46.345 --> 00:12:52.162
It's<00:12:47.403> near<00:12:47.627> impossible<00:12:48.220> to<00:12:48.364> get<00:12:48.589> everyone<00:12:48.925> in<00:12:49.005> the<00:12:49.085> same<00:12:49.406> room<00:12:49.967> unless<00:12:50.287> we<00:12:50.367> do<00:12:50.512> it<00:12:50.608> once<00:12:50.848> a<00:12:50.912> year<00:12:51.089> and<00:12:51.249> bring<00:12:51.473> the<00:12:51.553> whole<00:12:51.730> team<00:12:52.034> in.

00:12:52.291 --> 00:12:52.611
So.

00:12:53.163 --> 00:12:54.265
Kind<00:12:53.327> of<00:12:53.410> has<00:12:53.673> to<00:12:53.821> do<00:12:54.002> for<00:12:54.134> now.

00:12:55.820 --> 00:12:59.289
But<00:12:55.916> yeah,<00:12:55.997> I,<00:12:56.723> I<00:12:57.224> enjoy<00:12:57.934> being<00:12:58.192> in<00:12:58.337> person<00:12:58.821> when<00:12:58.918> I<00:12:59.080> can.

00:12:59.564 --> 00:13:10.928
So<00:13:00.435> I<00:13:00.532> travel,<00:13:01.420> I<00:13:01.500> would<00:13:01.597> say,<00:13:01.743> 1<00:13:01.904> or<00:13:01.969> 2<00:13:02.130> times<00:13:02.404> a<00:13:02.453> month,<00:13:02.856> whether<00:13:03.098> that's<00:13:03.356> to<00:13:03.534> New<00:13:03.679> York,<00:13:03.937> to<00:13:04.018> Nashville,<00:13:05.100> LA,<00:13:05.212> Miami,<00:13:06.726> just<00:13:06.903> to<00:13:07.064> get<00:13:07.289> to<00:13:07.321> see<00:13:08.030> our<00:13:08.191> team<00:13:08.513> in<00:13:08.658> person,<00:13:09.302> our<00:13:09.398> talent,<00:13:10.187> our<00:13:10.284> clients.

00:13:11.653 --> 00:13:15.348
But<00:13:11.814> really,<00:13:12.200> the<00:13:12.522> day<00:13:12.699> to<00:13:12.780> day<00:13:13.408> is<00:13:14.148> the<00:13:14.293> vision<00:13:14.615> for<00:13:14.680> the<00:13:14.794> business.

00:13:15.429 --> 00:13:23.295
How<00:13:15.608> do<00:13:15.690> we<00:13:15.836> continue<00:13:16.407> to<00:13:16.912> be<00:13:17.808> successful,<00:13:18.949> whether<00:13:19.275> that's<00:13:19.976> in<00:13:20.409> our<00:13:20.553> affiliate<00:13:20.954> division,<00:13:21.323> our<00:13:21.435> talent,<00:13:21.756> our<00:13:22.221> brand,<00:13:22.782> our<00:13:22.878> events.

00:13:23.359 --> 00:13:41.893
So<00:13:23.519> kind<00:13:23.744> of<00:13:23.904> wearing<00:13:24.177> a<00:13:24.225> lot<00:13:24.401> of<00:13:24.545> different<00:13:24.802> hats,<00:13:26.309> you<00:13:26.341> know,<00:13:26.501> reviewing<00:13:26.822> our<00:13:26.966> numbers,<00:13:27.527> making<00:13:27.768> sure<00:13:28.008> we're<00:13:28.730> achieving<00:13:29.051> the<00:13:29.195> goals<00:13:30.157> and,<00:13:31.760> you<00:13:31.856> know,<00:13:32.161> a<00:13:32.177> lot<00:13:32.353> of<00:13:32.417> guidance<00:13:33.139> and<00:13:33.700> working<00:13:34.005> with<00:13:34.101> the<00:13:34.245> team,<00:13:34.967> you<00:13:34.999> know,<00:13:35.303> through<00:13:35.544> issues<00:13:36.009> that<00:13:36.105> they<00:13:36.201> might<00:13:36.346> be<00:13:36.490> having<00:13:36.987> and<00:13:37.131> helping<00:13:37.468> them<00:13:39.456> figure<00:13:39.696> out<00:13:39.937> how<00:13:40.033> to<00:13:40.129> get<00:13:40.514> into<00:13:40.674> a<00:13:40.755> good<00:13:40.915> place<00:13:41.396> if<00:13:41.556> they're<00:13:41.652> not.

00:13:42.117 --> 00:13:48.338
So<00:13:42.358> it's<00:13:43.143> a<00:13:43.175> lot<00:13:43.384> of<00:13:43.416> that<00:13:43.865> and<00:13:43.945> a<00:13:43.977> lot<00:13:44.266> of,<00:13:44.506> you<00:13:44.602> know,<00:13:45.003> the<00:13:45.099> daily<00:13:45.404> fires<00:13:46.350> always<00:13:46.606> happening,<00:13:47.248> the<00:13:47.328> daily<00:13:47.584> successes.

00:13:48.450 --> 00:13:51.546
So<00:13:49.364> kind<00:13:50.359> of<00:13:50.535> in<00:13:50.615> the<00:13:50.680> mix<00:13:50.936> of<00:13:51.032> a<00:13:51.081> lot<00:13:51.321> of<00:13:51.401> it.

00:13:51.818 --> 00:13:53.759
So<00:13:52.364> every<00:13:52.524> day<00:13:52.620> is<00:13:52.701> different,<00:13:53.246> which<00:13:53.406> I<00:13:53.503> like.

00:13:54.385 --> 00:13:55.620
It's<00:13:54.465> interesting<00:13:54.850> you<00:13:54.882> mentioned<00:13:55.187> Nashville.

00:13:55.668 --> 00:14:06.111
I<00:13:55.684> mean,<00:13:55.893> it's<00:13:55.989> always<00:13:56.230> been<00:13:56.374> like<00:13:56.550> Music<00:13:56.887> City,<00:13:57.192> right,<00:13:57.513> and<00:13:57.673> big<00:13:57.834> for<00:13:57.978> country,<00:13:58.315> but<00:13:58.395> it's<00:13:58.539> really<00:13:58.716> become<00:13:59.197> like<00:14:00.625> one<00:14:00.785> of<00:14:00.865> our<00:14:01.346> great<00:14:01.667> cultural<00:14:02.165> hubs<00:14:02.566> in<00:14:02.646> the<00:14:02.726> United<00:14:03.063> States<00:14:03.448> too,<00:14:03.672> like<00:14:03.849> beyond<00:14:04.330> just<00:14:04.555> like<00:14:05.373> country<00:14:05.710> music.

00:14:06.159 --> 00:14:06.864
It's<00:14:06.319> fascinating.

00:14:07.362 --> 00:14:08.132
I<00:14:07.522> love<00:14:07.715> Nashville.

00:14:08.404 --> 00:14:09.190
It's<00:14:08.517> a<00:14:08.581> great<00:14:08.837> spot.

00:14:09.768 --> 00:14:12.543
We've<00:14:10.409> got<00:14:10.570> a<00:14:10.586> lot<00:14:10.971> of<00:14:11.211> talent<00:14:11.709> that<00:14:11.869> live<00:14:12.029> in<00:14:12.110> Nashville.

00:14:12.687 --> 00:14:16.328
So<00:14:13.216> I<00:14:13.313> try<00:14:13.489> to<00:14:13.617> go<00:14:13.714> out<00:14:13.938> there<00:14:14.099> like<00:14:14.355> 3<00:14:14.516> or<00:14:14.580> 4<00:14:14.756> times<00:14:15.077> a<00:14:15.141> year<00:14:15.398> and<00:14:15.655> see<00:14:15.879> everyone.

00:14:17.163 --> 00:14:17.532
It's<00:14:17.323> great.

00:14:17.950 --> 00:14:18.158
Love<00:14:18.062> it.

00:14:18.271 --> 00:14:18.608
Yeah.

00:14:18.768 --> 00:14:19.555
Nashville's<00:14:19.314> awesome.

00:14:19.716 --> 00:14:20.214
I<00:14:19.732> totally<00:14:19.973> agree.

00:14:21.241 --> 00:14:24.629
Give<00:14:21.402> me<00:14:21.514> a<00:14:21.578> sense<00:14:21.964> for<00:14:22.124> how<00:14:22.365> you<00:14:22.397> maintain<00:14:22.863> culture,<00:14:23.409> given<00:14:23.666> that<00:14:23.762> everybody's<00:14:24.308> remote.

00:14:25.175 --> 00:14:27.824
Yeah,<00:14:25.673> we,<00:14:26.717> it's<00:14:26.813> a<00:14:26.877> big<00:14:27.054> focus<00:14:27.503> for<00:14:27.664> us.

00:14:27.921 --> 00:14:29.510
I<00:14:28.001> think<00:14:28.162> culture's<00:14:28.627> everything<00:14:29.029> in<00:14:29.061> a<00:14:29.125> company.

00:14:30.394 --> 00:14:32.256
We<00:14:30.490> have<00:14:30.650> a<00:14:30.731> few<00:14:30.891> committees<00:14:31.437> that<00:14:31.534> we<00:14:31.614> put<00:14:31.791> in<00:14:31.919> place.

00:14:32.336 --> 00:14:33.685
We<00:14:32.433> actually<00:14:32.722> have<00:14:32.898> a<00:14:32.979> culture<00:14:33.380> committee.

00:14:34.520 --> 00:14:39.594
So,<00:14:34.745> they're<00:14:35.468> tasked<00:14:35.949> with<00:14:36.656> planning<00:14:37.009> fun<00:14:37.234> events<00:14:37.715> virtually,<00:14:38.904> happy<00:14:39.385> hours.

00:14:39.642 --> 00:14:41.055
We<00:14:39.723> do<00:14:39.867> happy<00:14:40.188> hours<00:14:40.445> in<00:14:40.590> each<00:14:40.686> city.

00:14:42.372 --> 00:14:44.572
We<00:14:42.597> have<00:14:42.709> a<00:14:42.854> book<00:14:43.014> club,<00:14:43.576> which<00:14:43.817> people<00:14:44.122> love<00:14:44.443> here.

00:14:45.969 --> 00:14:51.222
We<00:14:46.531> have<00:14:46.708> a<00:14:46.724> social<00:14:47.190> committee,<00:14:47.752> so<00:14:48.009> it's<00:14:48.395> getting<00:14:48.636> the<00:14:48.716> team<00:14:48.957> together<00:14:49.278> to<00:14:49.423> create<00:14:49.696> social<00:14:50.081> content.

00:14:51.768 --> 00:15:01.294
And<00:14:51.848> then<00:14:52.170> I<00:14:52.250> think<00:14:52.411> having<00:14:52.716> that<00:14:52.877> one-on-one<00:14:53.680> open-door<00:14:54.178> policy<00:14:54.820> where<00:14:55.688> people<00:14:56.025> feel<00:14:56.893> okay<00:14:57.391> to<00:14:57.551> reach<00:14:57.856> out<00:14:58.129> and<00:14:58.579> pop<00:14:58.772> time<00:14:59.061> on<00:14:59.222> my<00:14:59.318> calendar<00:15:00.025> and<00:15:00.346> have<00:15:00.523> that<00:15:00.764> connection.

00:15:02.194 --> 00:15:05.471
And<00:15:02.274> again,<00:15:02.772> I<00:15:02.852> travel<00:15:03.158> a<00:15:03.174> lot<00:15:03.655> to<00:15:03.800> get<00:15:03.961> to<00:15:04.041> see<00:15:04.684> the<00:15:04.780> team<00:15:05.005> in<00:15:05.101> person.

00:15:05.551 --> 00:15:16.225
I<00:15:05.567> think<00:15:05.808> in<00:15:05.904> person<00:15:06.242> is<00:15:06.370> huge,<00:15:07.511> but<00:15:07.736> also<00:15:07.993> when<00:15:08.105> I'm<00:15:08.234> not<00:15:08.475> there,<00:15:09.583> the<00:15:09.679> team<00:15:09.920> should<00:15:10.081> get<00:15:10.242> together<00:15:10.643> and<00:15:10.868> have<00:15:11.029> coffee<00:15:11.527> or,<00:15:12.169> you<00:15:12.266> know,<00:15:12.957> meet<00:15:13.054> for<00:15:13.215> lunch<00:15:13.762> and<00:15:13.939> build<00:15:14.664> the<00:15:14.825> internal<00:15:15.227> relationships<00:15:15.887> as<00:15:16.032> well.

00:15:17.884 --> 00:15:25.909
We<00:15:17.964> do<00:15:18.109> a<00:15:18.125> lot<00:15:18.302> of<00:15:18.431> team<00:15:18.673> meetings,<00:15:19.172> so<00:15:19.574> we<00:15:19.655> do<00:15:19.800> a<00:15:19.896> weekly<00:15:20.218> talent<00:15:20.540> meeting,<00:15:21.007> we<00:15:21.072> have<00:15:21.184> a<00:15:21.265> brand<00:15:21.587> meeting,<00:15:21.844> we<00:15:21.925> have<00:15:22.070> an<00:15:22.134> event<00:15:22.392> meeting,<00:15:22.795> and<00:15:22.860> then<00:15:23.199> the<00:15:23.344> full<00:15:23.602> company,<00:15:24.086> we<00:15:24.167> do<00:15:24.715> our<00:15:24.877> all<00:15:25.054> hands<00:15:25.458> once<00:15:25.683> a<00:15:25.716> month.

00:15:26.522 --> 00:15:29.346
So<00:15:26.652> that's<00:15:26.829> our<00:15:26.990> time<00:15:27.313> to<00:15:27.394> really<00:15:27.717> let<00:15:28.201> other<00:15:28.362> team<00:15:28.636> members<00:15:28.927> shine.

00:15:29.411 --> 00:15:40.122
Like,<00:15:29.572> we<00:15:30.040> go<00:15:30.201> over<00:15:30.379> the<00:15:30.524> big,<00:15:31.170> you<00:15:31.266> know,<00:15:31.880> heavy-hitting<00:15:32.236> stuff,<00:15:33.111> and<00:15:33.208> then<00:15:33.451> we'll<00:15:33.677> let<00:15:34.099> team<00:15:34.342> members<00:15:34.811> kind<00:15:34.989> of<00:15:35.621> talk<00:15:35.816> about<00:15:36.026> a<00:15:36.107> case<00:15:36.285> study<00:15:36.625> that<00:15:36.771> they<00:15:36.998> had<00:15:37.322> happen<00:15:37.727> that<00:15:37.905> month<00:15:38.294> that<00:15:38.936> You<00:15:38.968> know,<00:15:39.080> it<00:15:39.112> was<00:15:39.433> a<00:15:39.449> success<00:15:39.834> story.

00:15:40.331 --> 00:15:42.976
So<00:15:40.796> we<00:15:40.940> like<00:15:41.116> to<00:15:41.196> highlight<00:15:41.822> other<00:15:41.998> people<00:15:42.319> here<00:15:42.415> at<00:15:42.495> the<00:15:42.623> company.

00:15:43.040 --> 00:15:45.942
So<00:15:43.184> everyone<00:15:43.425> gets<00:15:43.601> to<00:15:43.697> know<00:15:43.906> each<00:15:44.066> other<00:15:44.210> because<00:15:44.547> we're<00:15:45.124> a<00:15:45.268> growing<00:15:45.669> team.

00:15:46.006 --> 00:15:48.298
We're<00:15:46.150> now<00:15:47.064> 75<00:15:47.705> employees.

00:15:48.635 --> 00:15:49.725
We<00:15:48.747> grew<00:15:48.891> a<00:15:49.036> lot<00:15:49.276> last<00:15:49.613> year.

00:15:49.869 --> 00:15:57.869
So,<00:15:50.975> you<00:15:51.072> know,<00:15:51.360> I<00:15:51.376> want<00:15:51.521> to<00:15:51.553> make<00:15:51.697> sure<00:15:51.921> everyone<00:15:52.242> knows<00:15:53.140> who<00:15:53.300> everyone<00:15:53.621> is<00:15:53.781> at<00:15:53.861> the<00:15:54.005> company<00:15:54.486> and<00:15:54.647> how<00:15:54.823> we<00:15:54.903> can<00:15:55.128> cross-pollinate<00:15:56.089> and<00:15:56.410> work<00:15:56.602> together<00:15:57.212> collaboratively.

00:15:58.334 --> 00:16:00.322
How<00:15:58.414> are<00:15:58.494> you<00:15:58.590> feeling<00:15:58.831> about<00:15:58.943> like<00:15:59.216> the<00:15:59.312> economic<00:15:59.809> environment?

00:16:00.658 --> 00:16:02.630
Uh,<00:16:00.899> we're<00:16:01.139> more<00:16:01.316> than<00:16:01.540> halfway<00:16:01.957> through<00:16:02.117> this<00:16:02.374> year.

00:16:03.320 --> 00:16:04.073
How<00:16:03.464> has<00:16:03.640> it<00:16:03.784> been?

00:16:04.442 --> 00:16:08.321
Is<00:16:04.602> it<00:16:04.762> any,<00:16:05.083> any<00:16:05.243> of<00:16:05.404> like<00:16:05.644> kind<00:16:05.820> of<00:16:05.949> the<00:16:06.430> economic<00:16:06.927> turmoil<00:16:07.728> that<00:16:07.872> happened<00:16:08.065> early?

00:16:08.369 --> 00:16:10.693
Did<00:16:08.434> any<00:16:08.674> of<00:16:08.754> that<00:16:08.914> affect<00:16:09.732> your<00:16:09.892> industry<00:16:10.373> at<00:16:10.437> all?

00:16:11.655 --> 00:16:12.183
It<00:16:11.815> did.

00:16:12.296 --> 00:16:14.106
Yeah,<00:16:12.440> I<00:16:12.776> think<00:16:12.936> it<00:16:13.017> affected<00:16:13.417> every<00:16:13.658> industry.

00:16:14.363 --> 00:16:17.327
Um,<00:16:14.923> Q1<00:16:15.404> was<00:16:15.644> rough<00:16:16.141> with<00:16:16.381> the<00:16:16.462> fires<00:16:16.942> in<00:16:17.086> LA.

00:16:17.439 --> 00:16:20.996
We<00:16:17.519> have<00:16:17.647> a<00:16:17.663> lot<00:16:17.968> of<00:16:18.064> talent<00:16:18.464> in<00:16:18.609> LA,<00:16:18.849> a<00:16:18.929> lot<00:16:19.105> of<00:16:19.250> clients,<00:16:20.131> a<00:16:20.147> lot<00:16:20.291> of<00:16:20.387> team<00:16:20.627> members.

00:16:21.044 --> 00:16:23.928
So<00:16:22.070> that<00:16:22.294> took<00:16:22.486> us<00:16:22.694> out<00:16:22.951> for<00:16:23.496> a<00:16:23.528> minute.

00:16:24.056 --> 00:16:28.687
Um,<00:16:25.098> and<00:16:25.194> then<00:16:25.370> it<00:16:25.434> was<00:16:25.579> the<00:16:25.675> tariffs,<00:16:26.236> and<00:16:26.380> then,<00:16:26.700> you<00:16:26.780> know,<00:16:26.957> it's<00:16:27.117> been<00:16:27.341> one<00:16:27.517> thing<00:16:27.742> after<00:16:27.998> another<00:16:28.318> this<00:16:28.543> year.

00:16:28.735 --> 00:16:30.946
So<00:16:29.680> there—<00:16:30.065> it<00:16:30.145> has<00:16:30.401> been<00:16:30.498> a<00:16:30.562> struggle.

00:16:31.026 --> 00:16:33.093
We've<00:16:31.267> had<00:16:31.363> to<00:16:31.459> shift<00:16:31.860> some<00:16:32.100> of<00:16:32.180> our<00:16:32.340> strategies.

00:16:33.270 --> 00:16:37.099
We<00:16:33.366> made<00:16:34.071> an<00:16:34.151> acquisition<00:16:34.728> earlier<00:16:35.048> this<00:16:35.288> year<00:16:35.609> to<00:16:35.833> launch<00:16:36.090> an<00:16:36.170> affiliate<00:16:36.570> division.

00:16:37.695 --> 00:16:46.136
So<00:16:37.857> a<00:16:37.873> new<00:16:38.100> service,<00:16:39.964> we've<00:16:40.515> kind<00:16:40.677> of<00:16:40.758> doubled<00:16:41.083> down<00:16:41.358> on<00:16:41.439> our<00:16:41.585> professional<00:16:42.136> beauty<00:16:42.395> division,<00:16:43.109> our<00:16:43.271> division<00:16:43.676> with<00:16:44.567> all<00:16:44.665> the<00:16:44.746> derms<00:16:45.118> and<00:16:45.200> skincare<00:16:45.700> experts.

00:16:46.200 --> 00:16:52.946
So<00:16:47.394> growing<00:16:47.733> that<00:16:48.056> because<00:16:48.298> that's<00:16:48.540> working<00:16:48.944> really<00:16:49.250> well<00:16:51.106> and<00:16:51.203> then<00:16:51.509> kind<00:16:51.671> of<00:16:51.703> shifting<00:16:52.332> what's<00:16:52.494> not<00:16:52.655> working.

00:16:53.123 --> 00:17:01.682
So,<00:16:54.253> you<00:16:54.285> know,<00:16:54.673> it's<00:16:54.899> always<00:16:55.304> kind<00:16:55.482> of<00:16:55.952> bobbing<00:16:56.308> and<00:16:56.437> weaving<00:16:57.020> through<00:16:57.910> tough<00:16:58.153> times<00:16:58.622> that<00:16:58.962> are<00:16:59.043> just<00:16:59.529> going<00:16:59.917> on,<00:17:00.727> you<00:17:00.824> know,<00:17:01.002> internationally.

00:17:01.795 --> 00:17:20.209
You<00:17:01.957> can't<00:17:02.200> really<00:17:02.443> avoid—<00:17:02.847> it's<00:17:02.993> part<00:17:03.171> of<00:17:03.220> business<00:17:04.503> and<00:17:04.670> figuring<00:17:05.003> out<00:17:05.170> how<00:17:05.336> we<00:17:05.486> can<00:17:06.312> still<00:17:06.553> be<00:17:06.649> successful<00:17:07.756> in<00:17:07.901> other<00:17:08.077> areas<00:17:08.639> that<00:17:09.281> aren't<00:17:09.843> seeing<00:17:11.062> such<00:17:11.351> a<00:17:11.383> steep<00:17:11.784> decline<00:17:12.394> and<00:17:12.811> really<00:17:13.052> evaluating<00:17:13.774> who<00:17:13.918> our<00:17:14.095> talent<00:17:14.480> are<00:17:14.576> and<00:17:14.721> who<00:17:14.801> our<00:17:14.897> clients<00:17:15.379> are<00:17:15.619> and<00:17:16.261> how<00:17:16.422> we<00:17:16.582> can<00:17:16.983> make<00:17:17.208> a<00:17:17.240> meaningful<00:17:17.705> impact<00:17:18.331> and<00:17:19.069> still<00:17:19.390> continue<00:17:19.791> to<00:17:19.872> scale.

00:17:20.834 --> 00:17:21.508
Yeah,<00:17:21.220> for<00:17:21.300> sure.

00:17:21.958 --> 00:17:30.462
Finally,<00:17:22.359> we<00:17:22.583> end<00:17:22.904> every<00:17:23.081> interview<00:17:23.402> with<00:17:23.498> the<00:17:23.578> same<00:17:23.803> question,<00:17:24.445> and<00:17:24.525> that<00:17:24.766> is,<00:17:24.910> at<00:17:24.942> CEO.com,<00:17:25.809> we<00:17:25.969> believe<00:17:26.210> the<00:17:26.354> chances<00:17:26.772> one<00:17:27.093> gives<00:17:28.296> is<00:17:28.456> just<00:17:28.585> as<00:17:28.713> important<00:17:29.082> as<00:17:29.195> the<00:17:29.323> chances<00:17:29.724> one<00:17:29.901> takes.

00:17:30.944 --> 00:17:33.415
When<00:17:31.168> you<00:17:31.329> hear<00:17:31.489> that,<00:17:31.650> who<00:17:31.810> gave<00:17:31.971> you<00:17:32.083> a<00:17:32.147> chance<00:17:32.388> to<00:17:32.484> get<00:17:32.613> you<00:17:32.709> to<00:17:32.773> where<00:17:32.933> you<00:17:33.046> are<00:17:33.190> today?

00:17:33.896 --> 00:17:35.402
Oh<00:17:33.912> my<00:17:34.072> gosh,<00:17:34.313> I'd<00:17:34.457> have<00:17:34.553> to<00:17:34.633> say<00:17:34.777> my<00:17:34.889> sister.

00:17:35.675 --> 00:17:53.687
She,<00:17:36.220> uh,<00:17:37.117> she's<00:17:37.341> 10<00:17:37.518> years<00:17:37.742> older<00:17:37.918> than<00:17:38.014> me,<00:17:38.623> and<00:17:39.104> when<00:17:39.200> I<00:17:39.344> first<00:17:39.697> moved,<00:17:40.066> I,<00:17:40.546> I<00:17:40.626> was<00:17:40.803> in<00:17:40.947> Philadelphia<00:17:41.748> in<00:17:41.844> college,<00:17:42.950> and<00:17:43.110> I<00:17:43.287> was<00:17:43.511> dying<00:17:43.847> to<00:17:43.912> move<00:17:44.248> to<00:17:44.408> LA,<00:17:44.969> and<00:17:45.049> my<00:17:45.146> sister<00:17:45.530> was<00:17:45.674> already<00:17:45.931> living<00:17:46.235> there,<00:17:46.652> and<00:17:46.732> she<00:17:46.956> was<00:17:47.389> starting<00:17:47.790> a<00:17:47.854> PR<00:17:48.174> agency,<00:17:49.136> and<00:17:49.216> she<00:17:49.392> said,<00:17:50.161> move<00:17:50.418> here,<00:17:50.979> get<00:17:51.139> settled,<00:17:51.636> and<00:17:51.732> I'm<00:17:51.860> gonna<00:17:52.084> hire<00:17:52.357> you<00:17:52.661> as<00:17:52.741> my<00:17:52.902> first<00:17:53.222> employee.

00:17:54.344 --> 00:17:55.994
And<00:17:54.664> she<00:17:54.985> took<00:17:55.225> me<00:17:55.370> under<00:17:55.546> her<00:17:55.786> wing.

00:17:56.107 --> 00:18:09.766
She<00:17:56.331> gave<00:17:56.523> me<00:17:56.668> so<00:17:56.972> many<00:17:57.373> opportunities,<00:17:58.494> and<00:17:59.472> I<00:17:59.536> worked<00:17:59.777> with<00:17:59.873> her<00:18:00.033> for<00:18:00.178> almost<00:18:00.418> 9<00:18:00.755> years<00:18:01.236> and<00:18:01.380> helped<00:18:01.621> her<00:18:01.717> grow<00:18:01.941> that<00:18:02.118> business<00:18:02.599> and<00:18:03.304> learned<00:18:03.561> so<00:18:03.865> much<00:18:04.427> and<00:18:04.523> made<00:18:04.683> so<00:18:04.843> many<00:18:05.068> relationships,<00:18:05.886> which<00:18:06.351> helped<00:18:06.671> me<00:18:06.767> then<00:18:07.088> start<00:18:07.425> my<00:18:07.569> own<00:18:07.794> business<00:18:08.291> and<00:18:08.611> got<00:18:08.852> me<00:18:09.012> to<00:18:09.108> where<00:18:09.333> I<00:18:09.477> am<00:18:09.638> now.

00:18:09.990 --> 00:18:13.694
So<00:18:10.696> if<00:18:10.776> she<00:18:10.936> didn't<00:18:11.161> take<00:18:11.257> that<00:18:11.481> risk<00:18:11.738> on<00:18:11.898> me,<00:18:12.059> I<00:18:12.139> don't<00:18:12.283> know<00:18:12.379> where<00:18:12.604> I'd<00:18:12.780> be<00:18:13.341> right<00:18:13.518> now.

00:18:14.047 --> 00:18:17.959
I'd<00:18:14.448> probably<00:18:14.800> still,<00:18:15.891> you<00:18:15.923> know,<00:18:16.548> in<00:18:16.628> Philly<00:18:17.029> somewhere,<00:18:17.510> who<00:18:17.590> knows.

00:18:18.296 --> 00:18:21.968
Definitely<00:18:18.873> she,<00:18:19.595> she<00:18:19.819> helped<00:18:19.995> me,<00:18:20.300> um,<00:18:20.781> kind<00:18:20.941> of<00:18:20.974> get<00:18:21.134> into<00:18:21.342> this<00:18:21.519> industry.

00:18:22.545 --> 00:18:23.170
That's<00:18:22.737> incredible.

00:18:23.218 --> 00:18:24.934
Sarah,<00:18:23.587> thank<00:18:23.763> you<00:18:23.844> so<00:18:24.004> much<00:18:24.228> for<00:18:24.325> coming<00:18:24.709> on.

00:18:26.714 --> 00:18:28.381
What<00:18:26.874> you've<00:18:26.970> done<00:18:27.195> is<00:18:27.612> Amazing.

00:18:28.638 --> 00:18:30.531
And,<00:18:28.959> uh,<00:18:29.135> yeah,<00:18:29.520> let's<00:18:29.681> have<00:18:29.761> you<00:18:29.857> come<00:18:30.017> back<00:18:30.194> on<00:18:30.322> again.

00:18:30.579 --> 00:18:34.123
It'd<00:18:30.659> be<00:18:30.739> fun<00:18:30.916> to<00:18:30.996> see<00:18:31.220> kind<00:18:31.381> of<00:18:31.461> like<00:18:31.685> how<00:18:31.878> this<00:18:32.086> whole<00:18:32.247> industry<00:18:32.584> has<00:18:32.728> changed<00:18:33.081> even<00:18:33.289> just<00:18:33.450> like<00:18:33.610> 6<00:18:33.851> months.

00:18:34.669 --> 00:18:35.214
Let's<00:18:34.893> do<00:18:35.134> it.

00:18:35.551 --> 00:18:36.770
Thank<00:18:35.727> you<00:18:35.791> so<00:18:35.952> much<00:18:36.112> for<00:18:36.256> having<00:18:36.577> me.
