Cartus CEO Matt Tebbe: Rethinking remote work

Show notes

You want to talk to a human

Matt Tebbe's story about becoming CEO of Cartus is that there isn't one. "I wish it was some great bold story," he told the CEO.com Podcast. "Ultimately, a recruiter reached out." The previous CEO had retired. Anywhere Real Estate, the parent company, wanted someone from outside relocation and outside real estate entirely, someone who knew growth and operations. Tebbe went through a standard interview process and got the job in 2023.

Cartus has been moving people since 1955. It handles corporate relocation for more than a third of the Fortune 100 and works in over 190 countries. A company hires a CEO who lives in California and the job's in New York. An intern needs an apartment for the summer. Household goods, home sales, language training, tax help, immigration. "Everything that's required to get somebody into a new location, operating effectively in their new role, Cartus provides those services," Tebbe said.

Before this, he ran Group Products at Riverside Insights, an education technology company selling assessments to more than 6,000 schools. Before that, he worked at Booz Allen Hamilton and Equifax, where he built Australia's largest native pre-employment screening business as the region's HR technology leader.

Cartus is putting AI where its consultants are, not where its customers are. When a transferee gets authorized, a consultant walks them through their benefits on a call that can run two hours, and it's a different conversation for a family of five with two dogs than for a solo 20-something. Consultants used to summarize those calls by hand. AI now does it in minutes, a person checks it for accuracy, and Cartus runs tens of thousands of those calls a year. What the company won't do yet is put AI between itself and the person moving. Moves go wrong, and Tebbe has heard the stories. "Literally, I've heard stories about somebody's cargo container falling off the ship. When all your possessions sink to the bottom of the ocean, you don't want to engage with a bot; you want to talk to a human."

He's not hedging on the technology itself. He brought up the metaverse, the big thing of a couple of years ago, as the kind of fad AI isn't. "I think there are enough tangible benefits, and the ways that companies think about and use it are only going to build on themselves."

Cartus went remote first and shed most of its real estate footprint before Tebbe arrived. It still has offices in eight countries. Tebbe works from a room in his house, and several mornings a week he's out with a small group of cyclists by 5:30, timed so he's home before his kids leave for school. Evenings are soccer and basketball games, then back on the computer to check in with the teams on the other side of the globe. He reads science fiction and what he calls a very narrow genre of running fiction, and he'd just finished The Looming Tower.

He doesn't hold Cartus up as the model for anyone else. Jamie Dimon wants his people back and says so. Other companies run hybrid and run it well. The dividing line, in Tebbe's telling, is whether a company actually rebuilt its processes for new hires who never formed office relationships, or whether hybrid was a placeholder until everyone could be summoned back. "I don't think there's a right or wrong answer to it."

The culture he inherited wasn't his to build. He asks employees how long they've been with Cartus and hears 20 years, 30, 40. He met one who'd been there 52 and a half years and was only 70. "Part of it is that I haven't had to create a new culture from scratch because it's so embedded." The flip side is that "because that's how we've always done it" comes up a lot, and the market that answer was built for is gone.

His hardest lesson came before Cartus. A sales leader several jobs ago was brilliant with clients and, in Tebbe's words, a bit of cancer back in the office. He waited too long to act because the client work was so good. "Inevitably, when you know there's a problem, the quicker you move to solve it, the better off you and your team is going to be."

The conversation was recorded in early 2025, before the biggest change of Tebbe's tenure. In January 2026, Compass completed its all-stock acquisition of Anywhere, and Cartus became part of Compass International Holdings. Tebbe has called the deal "nothing but upside" in an interview on the Love+Relo webinar series, saying it clears debt and frees up investment, while conceding in the same interview that relocation volumes haven't returned to 2019 levels and probably never will. In May, Cartus launched Cartus Concierge, a premium program for executive moves: fine art shipped in museum-grade materials, temperature-controlled wine transport, school placement, pet relocation. If fewer people are moving, the company will earn more on the moves that still matter.

Every episode of the CEO.com Podcast ends with the same question: who gave you a chance? Tebbe named Andy Bodea, the chief operating officer at Equifax, who promoted him to run the company's enterprise growth initiatives when he'd been there only a year. The role reported straight to Bodea and came with visibility Tebbe credits for everything since. The two still talk.

00:00:06.749 --> 00:00:10.263
I'm<00:00:06.830> pleased<00:00:07.154> to<00:00:07.218> introduce<00:00:07.656> Matt<00:00:08.206> Tebbe,<00:00:08.757> President<00:00:09.162> and<00:00:09.259> CEO<00:00:09.729> of<00:00:09.826> Cartus.

00:00:10.554 --> 00:00:20.311
Cartus<00:00:10.959> delivers<00:00:11.526> the<00:00:11.607> full<00:00:12.093> spectrum<00:00:12.903> of<00:00:12.984> strategic<00:00:13.550> talent<00:00:13.955> and<00:00:14.101> corporate<00:00:14.425> relocation<00:00:14.943> services<00:00:15.817> to<00:00:16.043> organizations<00:00:16.706> of<00:00:17.013> all<00:00:17.773> services<00:00:18.646> in<00:00:18.791> all<00:00:18.904> sizes<00:00:19.680> worldwide.

00:00:20.812 --> 00:00:26.553
These<00:00:20.990> include<00:00:21.313> more<00:00:21.620> than<00:00:21.733> a<00:00:21.943> third<00:00:22.267> of<00:00:22.364> Fortune<00:00:22.752> 100<00:00:23.091> companies,<00:00:23.641> as<00:00:23.738> well<00:00:23.867> as<00:00:24.045> hundreds<00:00:24.465> of<00:00:24.546> global<00:00:24.789> clients<00:00:25.114> with<00:00:25.201> small<00:00:25.617> to<00:00:25.703> midsize<00:00:26.154> programs.

00:00:27.256 --> 00:00:28.956
Matt,<00:00:27.577> thank<00:00:27.737> you<00:00:27.818> so<00:00:27.930> much<00:00:28.154> for<00:00:28.315> coming<00:00:28.571> on<00:00:28.700> the<00:00:28.780> show.

00:00:29.117 --> 00:00:29.758
Honored<00:00:29.277> to<00:00:29.357> have<00:00:29.662> you.

00:00:29.919 --> 00:00:30.095
Great.

00:00:30.192 --> 00:00:30.897
Thank<00:00:30.336> you<00:00:30.400> for<00:00:30.544> having<00:00:30.801> me.

00:00:31.298 --> 00:00:35.100
Tell<00:00:31.523> us<00:00:31.667> how<00:00:31.828> you<00:00:31.924> became<00:00:32.469> the<00:00:33.448> president<00:00:33.753> and<00:00:33.865> CEO<00:00:34.490> of<00:00:34.731> Cartus.

00:00:35.212 --> 00:00:37.201
Like,<00:00:35.373> what<00:00:35.533> led<00:00:35.774> to<00:00:36.094> you<00:00:36.255> being<00:00:36.560> here<00:00:36.720> with<00:00:36.896> us<00:00:37.041> today?

00:00:37.682 --> 00:00:37.923
Sure.

00:00:38.003 --> 00:00:41.243
It's—<00:00:38.324> I<00:00:38.404> mean,<00:00:38.966> I<00:00:39.062> wish<00:00:39.303> it<00:00:39.383> was<00:00:39.543> some<00:00:40.490> great,<00:00:40.730> bold<00:00:40.971> story.

00:00:41.308 --> 00:00:43.377
I<00:00:41.372> mean,<00:00:41.532> ultimately,<00:00:42.254> a<00:00:42.430> recruiter<00:00:42.896> reached<00:00:43.216> out.

00:00:43.874 --> 00:00:46.970
The<00:00:43.954> prior<00:00:44.275> CEO<00:00:44.660> of<00:00:44.820> Cartus<00:00:45.221> had<00:00:45.478> retired<00:00:46.104> after<00:00:46.296> a<00:00:46.360> number<00:00:46.601> of<00:00:46.745> years.

00:00:47.788 --> 00:00:50.611
And,<00:00:48.125> you<00:00:48.157> know,<00:00:48.285> Cartus<00:00:48.590> is<00:00:48.686> a<00:00:48.750> wholly<00:00:49.007> owned<00:00:49.103> subsidiary<00:00:49.649> of<00:00:49.793> Anywhere<00:00:50.130> Real<00:00:50.306> Estate.

00:00:50.707 --> 00:00:56.034
So<00:00:51.654> Anywhere<00:00:51.894> is<00:00:52.055> the<00:00:52.199> largest<00:00:52.760> publicly<00:00:53.097> traded<00:00:53.418> residential<00:00:53.899> real<00:00:54.076> estate<00:00:54.942> company<00:00:55.424> in<00:00:55.504> the<00:00:55.649> country.

00:00:56.452 --> 00:01:00.098
Um,<00:00:56.725> Century<00:00:57.095> 21,<00:00:57.657> Coldwell<00:00:58.074> Banker,<00:00:58.492> Sotheby's,<00:00:59.038> those<00:00:59.199> are<00:00:59.343> some<00:00:59.440> of<00:00:59.520> our<00:00:59.680> brands.

00:01:00.805 --> 00:01:06.956
But<00:01:00.949> I<00:01:01.030> bring<00:01:01.190> that<00:01:01.351> up<00:01:01.447> because<00:01:01.849> the<00:01:02.090> Anywhere<00:01:02.491> leadership<00:01:03.118> really<00:01:03.375> was<00:01:03.535> interested<00:01:04.033> in,<00:01:04.322> in<00:01:04.579> bringing<00:01:05.639> somebody<00:01:05.945> from<00:01:06.250> outside<00:01:06.587> the<00:01:06.667> industry.

00:01:07.005 --> 00:01:12.450
So<00:01:07.213> somebody<00:01:07.470> from<00:01:07.695> outside<00:01:08.033> real<00:01:08.177> estate,<00:01:08.595> somebody<00:01:08.980> from<00:01:09.301> outside<00:01:09.703> of<00:01:09.960> mobility<00:01:10.586> and<00:01:10.667> executive<00:01:11.149> relocation<00:01:11.887> into<00:01:12.064> the<00:01:12.193> role.

00:01:13.156 --> 00:01:22.729
And<00:01:13.397> my<00:01:13.574> combination<00:01:14.441> of<00:01:15.276> experience<00:01:15.726> with<00:01:15.903> growth<00:01:16.529> and<00:01:16.610> experience<00:01:17.091> with<00:01:17.413> operations<00:01:18.296> were<00:01:18.473> the<00:01:18.633> two<00:01:19.019> core<00:01:19.196> skill<00:01:19.453> sets<00:01:19.918> that<00:01:20.240> Anywhere<00:01:20.545> was<00:01:20.705> looking<00:01:20.962> at<00:01:21.268> with,<00:01:21.589> with<00:01:21.749> regards<00:01:22.087> to<00:01:22.183> their<00:01:22.312> new<00:01:22.488> leader.

00:01:22.809 --> 00:01:28.147
And<00:01:22.906> so<00:01:23.852> I<00:01:23.916> went<00:01:24.012> through<00:01:24.157> a<00:01:24.173> traditional<00:01:24.974> interview<00:01:25.294> process<00:01:26.096> and<00:01:26.320> ultimately<00:01:26.656> came<00:01:26.881> out<00:01:26.993> on<00:01:27.121> the<00:01:27.201> other<00:01:27.313> side<00:01:27.554> as<00:01:27.682> the<00:01:27.762> selection.

00:01:28.403 --> 00:01:29.124
Oh,<00:01:28.563> that's<00:01:28.740> incredible.

00:01:29.364 --> 00:01:29.989
That's<00:01:29.477> a<00:01:29.541> great<00:01:29.717> story.

00:01:30.406 --> 00:01:30.662
Yeah.

00:01:30.726 --> 00:01:33.274
And<00:01:30.823> it<00:01:30.903> kind<00:01:31.127> of<00:01:31.207> matches<00:01:31.464> with<00:01:31.704> what<00:01:31.848> you're<00:01:32.008> doing,<00:01:32.345> which<00:01:32.729> means<00:01:32.986> it<00:01:33.130> works.

00:01:33.450 --> 00:01:36.062
How<00:01:33.627> do<00:01:33.771> you—<00:01:34.925> so<00:01:35.133> give<00:01:35.245> us<00:01:35.389> a<00:01:35.453> sense<00:01:35.694> for<00:01:35.774> what<00:01:35.886> you<00:01:35.950> do.

00:01:36.126 --> 00:01:45.741
I<00:01:36.207> know<00:01:36.351> I<00:01:36.431> kind<00:01:36.591> of<00:01:36.671> laid<00:01:36.976> it<00:01:37.456> out<00:01:37.857> in<00:01:38.017> kind<00:01:38.177> of<00:01:38.210> like<00:01:38.514> the<00:01:39.299> full<00:01:39.459> spectrum<00:01:39.892> of<00:01:39.956> strategic<00:01:40.421> talent<00:01:40.597> mobility<00:01:41.478> and<00:01:41.623> corporate<00:01:42.344> relocation<00:01:42.904> services<00:01:44.042> for<00:01:44.122> organizations<00:01:44.763> of<00:01:44.843> all<00:01:44.940> sizes<00:01:45.404> worldwide.

00:01:45.789 --> 00:01:46.366
What<00:01:45.885> does<00:01:46.029> that<00:01:46.205> mean?

00:01:46.830 --> 00:01:48.897
Tell<00:01:46.926> us,<00:01:47.247> give<00:01:47.664> us<00:01:47.808> that<00:01:48.048> in<00:01:48.192> layman's<00:01:48.769> terms.

00:01:49.010 --> 00:01:49.218
Sure.

00:01:49.266 --> 00:01:53.226
So<00:01:50.516> We're<00:01:50.853> the<00:01:51.093> global<00:01:51.398> leader<00:01:51.639> in<00:01:51.895> corporate<00:01:52.200> relocation<00:01:52.761> services.

00:01:53.338 --> 00:01:55.824
So<00:01:53.435> that's<00:01:53.659> everything<00:01:54.060> from<00:01:54.237> a<00:01:54.301> traditional<00:01:54.718> executive<00:01:55.263> relocation.

00:01:55.969 --> 00:02:01.918
You<00:01:56.001> know,<00:01:56.129> a<00:01:56.145> company<00:01:56.530> has<00:01:56.706> a<00:01:56.722> new<00:01:56.947> CEO<00:01:57.733> and<00:01:58.454> they<00:01:58.631> live<00:01:58.791> in<00:01:58.871> California,<00:01:59.577> but<00:01:59.737> their<00:01:59.834> new<00:01:59.994> job<00:02:00.315> is<00:02:00.619> in<00:02:01.518> New<00:02:01.678> York.

00:02:02.063 --> 00:02:04.068
And<00:02:02.159> so<00:02:02.319> they<00:02:02.416> need<00:02:02.640> to<00:02:02.801> move<00:02:02.961> that<00:02:03.201> person<00:02:03.522> to<00:02:03.667> New<00:02:03.747> York.

00:02:04.484 --> 00:02:10.867
But<00:02:04.565> then<00:02:04.789> all<00:02:04.885> the<00:02:04.966> way<00:02:05.062> down<00:02:05.367> to,<00:02:05.511> you<00:02:05.543> know,<00:02:05.751> there's<00:02:06.008> a<00:02:06.088> lot<00:02:06.249> of<00:02:06.313> companies<00:02:06.810> that<00:02:06.970> will<00:02:07.195> provide<00:02:07.612> support<00:02:07.997> for<00:02:08.093> their<00:02:08.253> interns<00:02:08.879> moving<00:02:09.199> out<00:02:10.017> for<00:02:10.162> a<00:02:10.178> summer<00:02:10.498> program.

00:02:11.060 --> 00:02:14.716
We<00:02:11.220> provide<00:02:11.621> this<00:02:11.942> full,<00:02:12.503> full<00:02:12.599> spectrum<00:02:13.064> of<00:02:13.145> support<00:02:13.706> for<00:02:14.011> those<00:02:14.187> services.

00:02:14.909 --> 00:02:30.458
And<00:02:14.989> so<00:02:15.213> that<00:02:15.454> can<00:02:15.630> be<00:02:16.496> household<00:02:16.833> good<00:02:17.073> moves,<00:02:17.875> home<00:02:18.131> sale<00:02:18.436> and<00:02:18.516> home<00:02:18.756> purchase,<00:02:19.638> intercultural<00:02:20.199> language<00:02:20.600> services<00:02:21.081> if<00:02:21.177> you're<00:02:21.305> moving<00:02:21.562> overseas,<00:02:22.523> tax<00:02:22.860> assistance,<00:02:23.549> immigration<00:02:24.046> assistance,<00:02:25.088> everything<00:02:25.409> that's<00:02:25.633> required<00:02:26.210> to<00:02:26.370> get<00:02:26.531> somebody<00:02:27.011> into<00:02:27.252> a<00:02:27.268> new<00:02:27.492> location<00:02:28.679> operating<00:02:29.015> effectively<00:02:29.736> in<00:02:29.881> their<00:02:29.977> new<00:02:30.217> role.

00:02:30.762 --> 00:02:32.285
Cartus<00:02:31.019> provides<00:02:31.420> those<00:02:31.580> services.

00:02:32.526 --> 00:02:33.872
And<00:02:32.702> this<00:02:32.862> is<00:02:33.006> actually<00:02:33.167> our<00:02:33.263> 70th<00:02:33.728> year.

00:02:33.920 --> 00:02:36.757
So<00:02:34.449> we<00:02:34.690> were<00:02:34.850> founded<00:02:35.267> back<00:02:35.571> in<00:02:35.747> 1955.

00:02:36.870 --> 00:02:39.498
And<00:02:36.966> so<00:02:37.815> we've<00:02:38.072> been<00:02:38.168> doing<00:02:38.392> this<00:02:38.553> for<00:02:38.633> a<00:02:38.713> very<00:02:38.953> long<00:02:39.178> time.

00:02:39.739 --> 00:02:40.460
That's<00:02:39.931> incredible.

00:02:41.021 --> 00:02:43.201
What<00:02:41.117> have<00:02:41.197> you<00:02:41.342> learned<00:02:41.614> since<00:02:41.839> you've<00:02:41.983> been<00:02:42.159> the<00:02:42.320> CEO<00:02:42.704> and<00:02:42.800> president?

00:02:44.627 --> 00:02:45.653
I've<00:02:45.108> learned<00:02:45.349> a<00:02:45.365> lot.

00:02:45.910 --> 00:02:54.836
You<00:02:45.942> know,<00:02:46.807> it's<00:02:46.967> interesting<00:02:47.432> because<00:02:47.768> mobility<00:02:48.329> traditionally<00:02:48.874> rolls<00:02:49.131> up<00:02:49.291> under<00:02:49.515> human<00:02:50.092> resources,<00:02:51.999> but<00:02:52.095> it's<00:02:52.640> ultimately<00:02:52.961> it's<00:02:53.121> an<00:02:53.458> enabling<00:02:54.259> function.

00:02:54.900 --> 00:02:57.079
I<00:02:54.964> mean,<00:02:55.204> what<00:02:55.381> we're<00:02:55.525> doing<00:02:55.797> is<00:02:55.861> supporting<00:02:56.326> talent<00:02:56.599> management.

00:02:57.368 --> 00:03:04.804
And<00:02:57.528> it's<00:02:57.785> interesting,<00:02:58.426> the<00:02:58.746> different<00:02:59.387> ranges<00:02:59.964> of<00:03:00.365> some<00:03:00.733> companies<00:03:01.134> that<00:03:01.294> really<00:03:01.519> embrace<00:03:01.951> their<00:03:02.095> talent<00:03:02.416> management,<00:03:03.313> some<00:03:03.794> that<00:03:04.515> don't.

00:03:04.916 --> 00:03:14.371
And<00:03:04.996> so<00:03:05.220> it's<00:03:05.621> been<00:03:05.862> a<00:03:05.958> real<00:03:06.102> learning<00:03:06.374> experience<00:03:06.903> for<00:03:06.983> me,<00:03:07.160> just<00:03:07.961> the<00:03:08.121> different<00:03:08.426> ways<00:03:08.666> that<00:03:08.826> companies<00:03:09.387> think<00:03:09.547> about<00:03:09.788> their<00:03:09.884> talent,<00:03:10.429> the<00:03:10.509> way<00:03:10.669> they<00:03:10.846> think<00:03:11.006> about<00:03:11.406> where<00:03:11.631> their<00:03:11.807> talent<00:03:12.272> is<00:03:12.608> and<00:03:12.833> ultimately<00:03:13.249> how<00:03:13.410> they<00:03:13.634> can<00:03:13.794> enable<00:03:14.211> it.

00:03:14.997 --> 00:03:25.199
And,<00:03:15.237> you<00:03:15.285> know,<00:03:15.414> even<00:03:15.638> more<00:03:15.815> so<00:03:16.071> in<00:03:16.216> sort<00:03:16.440> of<00:03:16.921> the<00:03:17.178> environment<00:03:17.884> we're<00:03:18.141> in<00:03:18.301> where<00:03:18.461> companies<00:03:18.862> are<00:03:18.943> scaling<00:03:19.344> back<00:03:19.584> on<00:03:19.745> DE&I<00:03:20.306> programs,<00:03:21.028> you<00:03:21.605> know,<00:03:22.055> really<00:03:22.247> being<00:03:22.472> thoughtful<00:03:22.889> about<00:03:23.177> what<00:03:23.338> they<00:03:23.434> do,<00:03:23.675> what<00:03:23.835> they<00:03:23.915> say<00:03:24.380> and<00:03:24.477> how<00:03:24.637> they<00:03:24.862> do<00:03:25.038> it.

00:03:25.920 --> 00:03:31.390
Regardless<00:03:26.787> of<00:03:26.883> that,<00:03:27.268> there's<00:03:27.508> still<00:03:27.685> a<00:03:27.749> need<00:03:28.070> to<00:03:28.230> get<00:03:28.391> the<00:03:28.487> best<00:03:28.728> talent<00:03:29.289> and<00:03:29.369> have<00:03:29.610> them<00:03:29.770> in<00:03:29.850> the<00:03:30.011> best,<00:03:30.332> in<00:03:30.428> the<00:03:30.556> right<00:03:30.733> locations.

00:03:32.016 --> 00:03:35.529
And<00:03:32.096> so<00:03:32.321> just<00:03:32.577> learning<00:03:32.818> an<00:03:32.898> enormous<00:03:33.444> amount<00:03:33.700> about<00:03:34.165> that<00:03:34.502> and<00:03:34.647> how<00:03:34.807> we<00:03:34.903> can<00:03:35.048> support<00:03:35.449> it.

00:03:35.946 --> 00:03:43.807
What<00:03:36.026> have<00:03:36.170> you<00:03:36.331> learned<00:03:36.812> and<00:03:37.053> what<00:03:37.213> are<00:03:37.293> you<00:03:37.325> seeing<00:03:37.710> in<00:03:37.791> terms<00:03:38.127> of<00:03:38.256> like<00:03:38.416> this<00:03:38.577> whole<00:03:38.913> work<00:03:39.138> from<00:03:39.298> home<00:03:39.715> that<00:03:39.860> everybody<00:03:40.116> did<00:03:40.277> during<00:03:40.582> COVID<00:03:40.983> then<00:03:41.143> come<00:03:41.304> out<00:03:41.400> of<00:03:41.480> COVID<00:03:42.218> Seemed<00:03:42.427> like<00:03:42.603> hybrid<00:03:43.004> was<00:03:43.165> really<00:03:43.405> popular.

00:03:43.871 --> 00:03:47.337
Now<00:03:44.047> seems<00:03:44.272> like<00:03:44.561> people<00:03:44.946> are<00:03:45.091> leaning<00:03:45.331> towards<00:03:46.118> full<00:03:46.294> return<00:03:46.615> to<00:03:46.695> the<00:03:46.920> office.

00:03:47.482 --> 00:03:51.767
How<00:03:47.594> are<00:03:47.819> your<00:03:48.140> clients<00:03:48.557> and<00:03:48.701> companies<00:03:49.584> that<00:03:49.729> you<00:03:49.825> work<00:03:50.066> with<00:03:50.707> landing<00:03:51.173> on<00:03:51.269> that<00:03:51.446> issue?

00:03:52.152 --> 00:03:53.307
It's<00:03:52.393> a<00:03:52.553> really<00:03:52.794> good<00:03:52.938> question.

00:03:53.372 --> 00:03:54.896
A<00:03:53.436> lot<00:03:53.612> of<00:03:53.692> it<00:03:53.821> is<00:03:54.013> industry-specific.

00:03:54.960 --> 00:04:03.065
I<00:03:54.976> mean,<00:03:55.121> you<00:03:55.201> hear<00:03:55.522> like<00:03:55.747> the<00:03:55.843> banks<00:03:56.485> obviously<00:03:57.207> really<00:03:57.512> want<00:03:57.689> their<00:03:57.849> people,<00:03:58.555> you<00:03:58.587> know,<00:03:58.651> JPMorgan,<00:03:59.534> Jamie<00:03:59.775> Dimon<00:04:00.064> is<00:04:00.176> very<00:04:00.417> vocal<00:04:00.802> about<00:04:01.059> his,<00:04:01.765> his<00:04:01.925> opinions<00:04:02.407> on<00:04:02.647> what<00:04:02.744> he<00:04:02.888> wants.

00:04:03.450 --> 00:04:08.377
There's<00:04:03.626> a<00:04:03.707> lot<00:04:03.851> of<00:04:03.947> other<00:04:04.108> companies,<00:04:04.573> though,<00:04:04.814> who<00:04:05.055> are<00:04:05.376> very<00:04:05.552> comfortable<00:04:05.921> with<00:04:06.098> hybrid<00:04:06.740> and<00:04:06.997> others<00:04:07.318> who<00:04:07.382> are<00:04:07.478> very<00:04:07.719> comfortable<00:04:08.120> remote.

00:04:08.505 --> 00:04:10.319
Cartus<00:04:08.842> ourselves<00:04:09.548> are<00:04:09.645> fully<00:04:10.030> remote.

00:04:10.511 --> 00:04:11.410
We're<00:04:10.672> a<00:04:10.752> global<00:04:11.089> company.

00:04:11.490 --> 00:04:20.797
We<00:04:11.586> have<00:04:12.276> offices<00:04:12.774> in<00:04:13.015> 8<00:04:13.159> different<00:04:13.400> countries,<00:04:14.603> and<00:04:14.764> yet<00:04:15.261> we<00:04:16.064> downsized<00:04:16.625> most<00:04:16.850> of<00:04:16.930> our<00:04:17.026> real<00:04:17.187> estate<00:04:17.428> footprint<00:04:17.893> before<00:04:18.214> I<00:04:18.310> joined,<00:04:18.936> and<00:04:19.273> we<00:04:19.417> work<00:04:19.594> very<00:04:19.754> effectively<00:04:20.460> remote.

00:04:21.359 --> 00:04:31.340
I<00:04:21.584> think<00:04:21.760> the<00:04:21.840> biggest<00:04:22.161> thing<00:04:22.386> is,<00:04:22.884> you<00:04:23.028> know,<00:04:23.124> did<00:04:23.349> companies<00:04:24.007> during<00:04:24.247> COVID<00:04:24.665> and<00:04:24.729> coming<00:04:25.034> out<00:04:25.130> of<00:04:25.210> COVID<00:04:26.093> put<00:04:26.237> all<00:04:26.334> the<00:04:26.398> necessary<00:04:26.959> processes<00:04:27.922> and<00:04:29.126> procedures<00:04:29.623> in<00:04:29.768> place<00:04:30.249> so<00:04:30.410> that<00:04:30.506> they<00:04:30.650> could<00:04:30.827> be<00:04:30.907> effective?

00:04:31.388 --> 00:04:36.636
I<00:04:31.453> mean,<00:04:31.613> as<00:04:31.725> an<00:04:31.806> example,<00:04:32.576> part<00:04:32.688> of<00:04:32.752> the<00:04:32.833> reason<00:04:33.137> I<00:04:33.234> think<00:04:33.458> that<00:04:33.555> companies<00:04:34.100> work<00:04:34.277> so<00:04:34.501> well<00:04:34.678> during<00:04:34.919> COVID<00:04:35.256> is<00:04:35.400> because<00:04:35.721> of<00:04:35.801> the<00:04:36.026> relationships.

00:04:36.684 --> 00:04:38.930
You<00:04:36.716> know,<00:04:37.165> Clint,<00:04:37.326> you<00:04:37.470> and<00:04:37.550> I<00:04:37.711> worked<00:04:37.952> together<00:04:38.272> for<00:04:38.433> 10<00:04:38.674> years.

00:04:39.332 --> 00:04:40.552
I<00:04:39.412> could<00:04:39.492> just<00:04:39.653> pick<00:04:39.829> up<00:04:39.894> the<00:04:39.974> phone<00:04:40.151> and<00:04:40.279> call<00:04:40.456> you.

00:04:40.600 --> 00:04:41.548
We<00:04:40.697> could<00:04:40.793> get<00:04:40.938> stuff<00:04:41.259> done.

00:04:42.367 --> 00:04:46.254
As<00:04:42.544> more<00:04:42.769> and<00:04:42.929> more<00:04:43.106> new<00:04:43.331> hires<00:04:43.748> come<00:04:43.973> into<00:04:44.214> that<00:04:44.391> environment,<00:04:44.872> they<00:04:45.033> don't<00:04:45.258> have<00:04:45.435> those<00:04:45.659> relationships.

00:04:46.318 --> 00:04:47.265
They<00:04:46.398> don't<00:04:46.623> know<00:04:46.784> who<00:04:46.880> to<00:04:47.025> call.

00:04:47.362 --> 00:04:54.589
So<00:04:47.506> if<00:04:47.619> a<00:04:47.683> company<00:04:48.004> doesn't<00:04:48.325> have<00:04:48.631> the<00:04:48.807> right<00:04:49.530> processes<00:04:50.172> in<00:04:50.317> place<00:04:50.815> to<00:04:50.959> really<00:04:51.232> enable<00:04:51.618> that<00:04:51.859> new<00:04:52.084> hire<00:04:52.260> and<00:04:52.421> make<00:04:52.662> them<00:04:52.742> a<00:04:52.806> success,<00:04:53.609> they're<00:04:53.882> not<00:04:54.107> going<00:04:54.348> to<00:04:54.509> be.

00:04:54.814 --> 00:05:03.679
And<00:04:54.910> so<00:04:55.151> I<00:04:55.231> think<00:04:55.392> the<00:04:55.472> companies<00:04:56.034> that<00:04:56.195> really<00:04:56.918> embrace<00:04:57.319> that<00:04:57.496> mindset<00:04:58.187> and<00:04:58.283> change<00:04:58.749> the<00:04:58.829> way<00:04:58.925> they<00:04:59.086> did<00:04:59.311> business<00:05:00.371> have<00:05:00.547> embraced<00:05:00.933> hybrid<00:05:01.495> and<00:05:01.640> remote<00:05:01.897> work<00:05:02.153> and<00:05:02.218> are<00:05:02.378> very,<00:05:02.619> very<00:05:02.780> successful<00:05:03.358> with<00:05:03.583> it.

00:05:04.209 --> 00:05:14.149
The<00:05:04.306> ones<00:05:04.546> who<00:05:04.787> didn't,<00:05:05.350> where<00:05:06.313> hybrid<00:05:06.634> was<00:05:06.795> a<00:05:07.020> placeholder<00:05:07.662> until<00:05:07.854> we<00:05:07.983> could<00:05:08.079> get<00:05:08.240> them<00:05:08.384> back<00:05:08.705> in,<00:05:09.348> they're<00:05:09.444> definitely<00:05:09.829> going<00:05:09.910> to<00:05:09.942> be<00:05:10.086> more<00:05:10.311> biased<00:05:10.729> towards<00:05:11.050> we<00:05:11.194> want<00:05:11.291> to<00:05:11.355> see<00:05:11.612> people<00:05:12.174> in<00:05:12.318> the<00:05:12.479> office<00:05:13.201> and<00:05:13.378> in<00:05:13.458> that<00:05:13.699> environment.

00:05:14.197 --> 00:05:17.649
So<00:05:15.369> I<00:05:15.449> don't<00:05:15.610> think<00:05:15.786> there's<00:05:16.027> a<00:05:16.188> right<00:05:16.413> or<00:05:16.573> wrong<00:05:17.135> answer<00:05:17.456> to<00:05:17.569> it.

00:05:17.697 --> 00:05:23.863
I<00:05:17.794> think<00:05:17.954> it's<00:05:18.115> really<00:05:18.420> about<00:05:18.821> how<00:05:19.303> a<00:05:19.399> given<00:05:19.640> company<00:05:19.977> is<00:05:20.041> structured<00:05:20.844> and<00:05:21.406> whether<00:05:21.567> or<00:05:21.615> not<00:05:21.872> they're<00:05:22.113> able<00:05:22.289> to<00:05:22.434> support<00:05:22.932> whatever<00:05:23.172> model<00:05:23.478> they've<00:05:23.638> chosen.

00:05:24.296 --> 00:05:24.457
Okay.

00:05:24.537 --> 00:05:29.852
Now<00:05:24.698> the<00:05:24.778> question<00:05:25.099> is<00:05:25.966> AI,<00:05:26.689> and<00:05:26.930> I<00:05:27.026> feel<00:05:27.171> like<00:05:27.331> it<00:05:27.411> should<00:05:27.588> be<00:05:27.668> the<00:05:27.829> only<00:05:28.134> question<00:05:28.471> and<00:05:28.567> the<00:05:28.712> only<00:05:28.937> thing<00:05:29.033> we're<00:05:29.258> ever<00:05:29.435> talking<00:05:29.691> about.

00:05:29.900 --> 00:05:36.857
Like<00:05:30.077> all<00:05:30.237> of<00:05:30.318> my<00:05:30.478> guests,<00:05:30.735> I<00:05:30.864> feel<00:05:30.944> like<00:05:31.410> we<00:05:31.522> should<00:05:31.666> just<00:05:31.794> spend<00:05:32.002> the<00:05:32.163> whole<00:05:32.467> time<00:05:33.188> of<00:05:33.268> our<00:05:33.444> interview<00:05:33.845> talking<00:05:34.229> about<00:05:34.406> this<00:05:34.646> thing,<00:05:35.383> even<00:05:35.607> though<00:05:35.703> none<00:05:35.912> of<00:05:36.008> us<00:05:36.152> know<00:05:36.248> the<00:05:36.408> answers.

00:05:37.049 --> 00:05:42.737
It's<00:05:37.354> very<00:05:37.594> fascinating<00:05:38.187> and<00:05:38.267> it's<00:05:38.411> a<00:05:38.491> good<00:05:38.652> idea<00:05:40.174> to<00:05:40.398> talk<00:05:40.654> it<00:05:40.734> out<00:05:40.911> and<00:05:41.039> get<00:05:41.135> a<00:05:41.151> sense<00:05:41.455> for<00:05:41.600> how<00:05:41.712> everyone's<00:05:42.160> thinking<00:05:42.417> about<00:05:42.673> it.

00:05:42.817 --> 00:05:45.477
So<00:05:43.522> I<00:05:43.538> have<00:05:43.682> two<00:05:43.843> questions<00:05:44.195> about<00:05:44.484> AI<00:05:45.076> for<00:05:45.365> you.

00:05:45.685 --> 00:05:48.393
One,<00:05:46.166> how<00:05:46.262> are<00:05:46.342> you<00:05:46.502> using<00:05:46.839> it<00:05:46.919> within<00:05:48.024> Kardas?

00:05:49.370 --> 00:05:55.523
And<00:05:49.547> two,<00:05:49.931> how<00:05:50.107> are<00:05:50.268> you<00:05:50.572> thinking<00:05:50.924> about<00:05:51.373> it<00:05:51.854> more<00:05:52.030> broadly<00:05:52.911> and<00:05:53.296> particularly<00:05:53.696> with<00:05:53.792> the<00:05:53.937> clients<00:05:54.433> and<00:05:54.578> companies<00:05:54.914> that<00:05:55.058> you're<00:05:55.154> working<00:05:55.459> with?

00:05:55.795 --> 00:05:59.400
Sure,<00:05:56.052> I'm<00:05:56.676> actually<00:05:56.901> gonna<00:05:57.077> answer<00:05:57.397> the<00:05:57.558> questions<00:05:58.263> in<00:05:58.343> reverse<00:05:58.775> if<00:05:58.904> that's<00:05:59.144> okay.

00:05:59.480 --> 00:06:00.137
Yeah,<00:05:59.721> of<00:05:59.881> course.

00:06:00.442 --> 00:06:04.201
The<00:06:00.683> way<00:06:00.908> we're<00:06:01.004> thinking<00:06:01.325> about<00:06:01.631> it,<00:06:01.872> there's<00:06:02.369> two<00:06:02.530> different<00:06:02.835> lenses<00:06:03.173> given<00:06:03.414> the<00:06:03.638> work<00:06:03.895> we<00:06:04.040> do.

00:06:04.297 --> 00:06:17.003
There's<00:06:04.683> the<00:06:04.843> backend<00:06:05.502> Cartus<00:06:05.887> operations,<00:06:06.771> our<00:06:06.867> consultants<00:06:07.654> who<00:06:07.751> engage<00:06:08.056> with<00:06:08.232> transferees,<00:06:09.100> our<00:06:09.180> supply<00:06:09.598> chain,<00:06:10.481> and<00:06:10.562> then<00:06:10.786> there's<00:06:10.963> the<00:06:11.188> actual<00:06:12.650> transferee<00:06:13.212> experience,<00:06:13.854> the<00:06:13.999> frontend<00:06:14.802> and<00:06:14.979> the<00:06:15.059> clients<00:06:15.541> and<00:06:15.621> transferees<00:06:16.264> who<00:06:16.312> would<00:06:16.424> be<00:06:16.585> using<00:06:16.906> it.

00:06:17.613 --> 00:06:20.328
We're<00:06:17.774> very<00:06:18.031> focused<00:06:18.657> and<00:06:18.738> the<00:06:18.818> way<00:06:18.914> we're<00:06:19.075> using<00:06:19.460> it<00:06:19.573> is<00:06:19.717> on<00:06:19.862> the<00:06:19.942> backend.

00:06:20.440 --> 00:06:21.532
And<00:06:20.504> there's<00:06:20.681> a<00:06:20.745> couple<00:06:20.922> of<00:06:20.986> reasons<00:06:21.308> for<00:06:21.468> that.

00:06:21.709 --> 00:06:28.231
One<00:06:21.886> is<00:06:22.046> that,<00:06:22.512> you<00:06:22.560> know,<00:06:22.769> there's<00:06:23.010> a<00:06:23.026> lot<00:06:23.251> of<00:06:23.348> efficiencies<00:06:24.038> that<00:06:24.135> can<00:06:24.279> be<00:06:24.376> gained,<00:06:24.761> a<00:06:24.777> lot<00:06:24.954> of<00:06:25.034> administrative<00:06:25.661> work<00:06:25.966> that<00:06:26.046> can<00:06:26.143> be<00:06:26.223> taken<00:06:26.608> off<00:06:26.785> our<00:06:27.251> consultants'<00:06:27.893> plates.

00:06:28.632 --> 00:06:31.331
And<00:06:28.777> so<00:06:28.905> we're<00:06:29.098> looking<00:06:29.419> for,<00:06:29.741> you<00:06:29.789> know,<00:06:29.901> it's<00:06:29.998> almost<00:06:30.223> like<00:06:30.335> the<00:06:30.480> low-hanging<00:06:30.962> fruit.

00:06:32.006 --> 00:06:39.942
But<00:06:32.150> the<00:06:32.247> other<00:06:32.407> piece<00:06:32.729> of<00:06:32.761> that<00:06:32.986> is,<00:06:33.677> I'll<00:06:33.853> call<00:06:34.110> it<00:06:34.239> the—<00:06:35.122> not<00:06:35.283> safety<00:06:35.701> per<00:06:35.845> se,<00:06:36.247> but<00:06:37.130> there's<00:06:37.371> still<00:06:37.612> a<00:06:37.709> lot<00:06:38.030> that's<00:06:38.753> being<00:06:39.058> worked<00:06:39.299> out<00:06:39.460> with<00:06:39.620> AI.

00:06:40.038 --> 00:06:41.853
And,<00:06:40.118> you<00:06:40.295> know,<00:06:40.584> you<00:06:40.681> hear<00:06:40.825> about<00:06:41.002> hallucinations.

00:06:42.110 --> 00:06:47.235
You<00:06:42.239> know,<00:06:42.914> when<00:06:43.026> you<00:06:43.171> think<00:06:43.347> about<00:06:44.520> going<00:06:44.777> through<00:06:44.938> a<00:06:44.954> move,<00:06:45.741> it's<00:06:46.287> stressful<00:06:46.769> as<00:06:46.962> it<00:06:47.106> is.

00:06:47.588 --> 00:06:48.183
Things<00:06:47.829> go<00:06:47.990> wrong.

00:06:48.713 --> 00:06:55.637
Even<00:06:48.954> more<00:06:49.195> so<00:06:49.661> now<00:06:50.094> it's<00:06:50.303> magnified<00:06:50.898> in<00:06:50.978> a<00:06:51.107> corporate<00:06:51.428> environment<00:06:51.990> where<00:06:52.247> you<00:06:52.649> are<00:06:52.890> trying<00:06:53.275> to<00:06:53.532> take<00:06:53.838> on<00:06:53.934> a<00:06:53.950> new<00:06:54.239> role<00:06:54.657> in<00:06:54.801> a<00:06:54.817> new<00:06:54.978> location.

00:06:56.022 --> 00:06:58.620
Potentially<00:06:56.503> moving<00:06:56.808> your<00:06:56.904> family<00:06:57.369> and<00:06:57.449> your<00:06:57.610> kids<00:06:57.947> and<00:06:58.091> getting<00:06:58.283> schools.

00:06:58.668 --> 00:07:08.067
So<00:06:59.791> the<00:07:00.016> last<00:07:00.352> thing<00:07:00.497> we<00:07:00.673> want<00:07:01.299> is<00:07:01.555> for<00:07:02.117> something<00:07:02.421> to<00:07:02.502> go<00:07:02.678> wrong<00:07:02.999> and<00:07:03.079> that<00:07:03.304> transferee<00:07:04.041> to<00:07:04.202> then<00:07:04.362> be<00:07:04.523> getting<00:07:05.164> wrong<00:07:05.421> information<00:07:06.688> from,<00:07:07.329> you<00:07:07.361> know,<00:07:07.490> from<00:07:07.746> AI.

00:07:08.612 --> 00:07:12.782
Literally,<00:07:08.997> I've<00:07:09.158> heard<00:07:09.318> stories<00:07:09.815> about<00:07:10.313> somebody's<00:07:11.018> cargo<00:07:11.403> container<00:07:11.900> falling<00:07:12.285> off<00:07:12.462> the<00:07:12.542> ship.

00:07:13.504 --> 00:07:17.498
When<00:07:13.745> all<00:07:13.905> your<00:07:13.985> possessions<00:07:14.691> are<00:07:14.787> sinking<00:07:15.252> to<00:07:15.333> the<00:07:15.413> bottom<00:07:15.669> of<00:07:15.734> the<00:07:15.894> ocean,<00:07:16.054> you<00:07:16.103> don't<00:07:16.231> want<00:07:16.471> to<00:07:16.552> be<00:07:16.632> engaging<00:07:17.017> with<00:07:17.129> a<00:07:17.193> bot.

00:07:17.578 --> 00:07:19.374
You<00:07:17.674> want<00:07:17.819> to<00:07:18.155> be<00:07:18.316> talking<00:07:18.797> to<00:07:18.957> a<00:07:18.973> human.

00:07:19.439 --> 00:07:24.539
And<00:07:19.583> so<00:07:20.706> we<00:07:20.866> look<00:07:20.962> very<00:07:21.203> carefully<00:07:21.620> at<00:07:21.748> the<00:07:21.844> demographics<00:07:22.630> of<00:07:22.807> who's<00:07:23.047> being<00:07:23.352> moved,<00:07:23.528> who<00:07:23.673> our<00:07:23.769> clients<00:07:24.186> are<00:07:24.234> moving.

00:07:24.972 --> 00:07:34.574
Especially<00:07:25.357> at<00:07:25.437> the<00:07:25.517> executive<00:07:26.014> levels,<00:07:26.431> it<00:07:26.511> still<00:07:26.912> skews<00:07:27.761> in<00:07:27.841> a<00:07:27.938> way<00:07:28.338> that<00:07:28.899> there's<00:07:29.204> more<00:07:29.445> comfort<00:07:30.086> talking<00:07:30.487> to<00:07:30.583> a<00:07:30.663> person<00:07:31.224> than<00:07:31.368> necessarily<00:07:31.865> doing<00:07:32.106> everything<00:07:32.667> through<00:07:33.292> mobility<00:07:33.853> or<00:07:33.949> through<00:07:34.174> an<00:07:34.414> app.

00:07:34.895 --> 00:07:35.568
But<00:07:34.991> that's<00:07:35.168> shifting.

00:07:35.697 --> 00:07:44.097
And<00:07:35.793> so<00:07:36.097> that's<00:07:36.354> the<00:07:36.498> other<00:07:36.658> way<00:07:36.835> that<00:07:37.059> we're<00:07:37.155> thinking<00:07:37.540> about<00:07:37.797> it<00:07:37.893> is<00:07:38.358> what<00:07:38.502> are<00:07:38.534> the<00:07:38.662> demographics,<00:07:39.304> what<00:07:39.400> are<00:07:39.464> the<00:07:39.560> channels<00:07:40.185> that<00:07:40.265> our<00:07:40.426> transferees<00:07:41.163> want<00:07:41.307> to<00:07:41.404> work<00:07:41.644> through<00:07:41.804> us<00:07:41.965> and<00:07:42.029> how<00:07:42.205> can<00:07:42.349> we<00:07:42.446> be<00:07:42.526> as<00:07:42.686> flexible<00:07:43.151> as<00:07:43.311> possible<00:07:43.632> to<00:07:43.728> meet<00:07:43.953> those?

00:07:44.433 --> 00:07:44.979
Yeah,<00:07:44.754> that<00:07:44.914> is.

00:07:45.331 --> 00:07:46.790
And<00:07:45.475> how<00:07:45.588> are<00:07:45.716> you<00:07:45.796> using<00:07:46.069> it<00:07:46.133> within<00:07:46.373> the<00:07:46.453> company?

00:07:46.854 --> 00:07:53.076
Are<00:07:46.998> you<00:07:47.255> like<00:07:48.056> just,<00:07:48.297> just—<00:07:48.778> and<00:07:48.858> I<00:07:48.938> know<00:07:49.082> you<00:07:49.243> kind<00:07:49.355> of<00:07:49.419> just<00:07:49.579> touched<00:07:49.820> on<00:07:49.900> it<00:07:49.980> there,<00:07:50.140> but<00:07:50.253> like<00:07:51.568> Is<00:07:51.664> it<00:07:51.809> automating<00:07:52.226> workflows?

00:07:53.124 --> 00:07:54.969
Is<00:07:53.204> it<00:07:53.333> helping<00:07:53.589> you<00:07:53.734> be<00:07:53.894> more<00:07:54.055> productive?

00:07:55.033 --> 00:07:57.729
Is<00:07:55.274> it<00:07:55.386> something<00:07:56.140> you<00:07:56.173> don't<00:07:56.397> use<00:07:56.638> that<00:07:56.862> much<00:07:57.344> currently?

00:07:58.146 --> 00:07:59.943
So<00:07:58.403> really<00:07:58.627> focused<00:07:59.028> on<00:07:59.365> productivity.

00:07:59.991 --> 00:08:10.676
And<00:08:00.071> so<00:08:00.184> a<00:08:00.232> specific<00:08:00.665> example,<00:08:01.772> when<00:08:02.157> a<00:08:02.398> transferee<00:08:03.360> is<00:08:03.842> authorized,<00:08:04.371> our<00:08:04.499> consultant<00:08:04.981> gets<00:08:05.221> on<00:08:05.302> the<00:08:05.366> phone<00:08:05.703> and<00:08:05.783> explains<00:08:06.328> all<00:08:06.425> their<00:08:06.585> benefits<00:08:07.131> to<00:08:07.307> them<00:08:07.532> and<00:08:07.708> what<00:08:08.350> the<00:08:08.510> given<00:08:08.751> company's<00:08:09.232> policy<00:08:09.778> allows<00:08:10.195> or<00:08:10.259> doesn't<00:08:10.516> allow.

00:08:11.238 --> 00:08:12.730
And<00:08:11.302> that<00:08:11.398> could<00:08:11.494> be<00:08:11.623> an<00:08:11.863> hour<00:08:11.896> or<00:08:12.040> two<00:08:12.265> phone<00:08:12.521> call.

00:08:13.163 --> 00:08:17.591
We<00:08:13.243> then<00:08:13.404> take<00:08:13.580> the<00:08:13.660> summary<00:08:14.190> of<00:08:14.270> that<00:08:14.447> phone<00:08:14.751> call<00:08:14.864> because<00:08:15.169> it's<00:08:15.634> not<00:08:15.874> a<00:08:16.773> copy<00:08:17.030> and<00:08:17.174> paste.

00:08:18.072 --> 00:08:20.992
It's<00:08:18.265> specific<00:08:18.858> to<00:08:19.099> that<00:08:19.340> transferee's<00:08:20.126> circumstances.

00:08:21.088 --> 00:08:26.590
And<00:08:21.168> so<00:08:21.281> it's<00:08:21.425> a<00:08:21.489> different<00:08:21.730> conversation<00:08:22.323> if<00:08:22.452> you're<00:08:22.580> moving<00:08:22.805> a<00:08:22.853> family<00:08:23.190> of<00:08:23.350> 5<00:08:23.655> with<00:08:23.831> 2<00:08:23.992> dogs<00:08:24.858> versus<00:08:25.115> you're<00:08:25.275> a<00:08:25.291> solo<00:08:25.917> 20-something.

00:08:27.842 --> 00:08:33.360
And<00:08:27.922> so<00:08:28.163> that<00:08:28.708> call<00:08:29.350> traditionally<00:08:30.072> would<00:08:30.168> be<00:08:30.344> summarized<00:08:31.435> by<00:08:31.531> the<00:08:31.676> consultant,<00:08:32.253> and<00:08:32.333> that<00:08:32.494> takes<00:08:32.735> a<00:08:32.799> lot<00:08:33.136> of<00:08:33.168> time.

00:08:33.777 --> 00:08:45.909
Now<00:08:34.018> through<00:08:34.339> AI,<00:08:35.061> that<00:08:35.221> whole<00:08:35.446> process<00:08:35.863> can<00:08:36.007> be<00:08:36.168> automated<00:08:36.601> such<00:08:36.889> that<00:08:37.002> it's<00:08:37.130> just<00:08:37.306> a<00:08:37.323> matter<00:08:37.547> of<00:08:37.708> minutes,<00:08:38.413> still<00:08:38.670> capturing,<00:08:39.376> you<00:08:39.408> know,<00:08:39.536> we<00:08:39.857> do<00:08:40.034> it<00:08:40.114> once<00:08:40.354> over<00:08:40.579> again<00:08:40.756> to<00:08:40.836> make<00:08:41.060> sure<00:08:41.237> that<00:08:41.397> the<00:08:41.718> accuracy<00:08:42.199> is<00:08:42.344> there,<00:08:42.600> but<00:08:43.049> for<00:08:43.209> the<00:08:43.289> most<00:08:43.509> part<00:08:43.729> when<00:08:43.829> it<00:08:43.989> comes<00:08:44.109> to<00:08:44.329> that<00:08:44.389> type<00:08:44.609> of<00:08:44.769> summarization,<00:08:45.449> it<00:08:45.469> is.

00:08:45.909 --> 00:08:47.869
And<00:08:45.910> so<00:08:46.049> that's<00:08:46.249> an<00:08:46.429> example<00:08:46.689> of<00:08:46.829> the<00:08:47.029> productivity<00:08:47.369> gains.

00:08:48.209 --> 00:08:52.449
And<00:08:48.269> as<00:08:48.429> you<00:08:48.569> can<00:08:48.709> imagine,<00:08:49.029> we<00:08:49.069> do<00:08:49.269> thousands<00:08:49.649> of<00:08:49.809> those,<00:08:50.109> tens<00:08:50.509> of<00:08:50.669> thousands<00:08:50.949> of<00:08:51.088> those<00:08:51.289> calls<00:08:51.529> a<00:08:51.809> year.

00:08:52.449 --> 00:08:58.979
So<00:08:52.469> it's<00:08:52.729> just,<00:08:53.169> you<00:08:53.189> know,<00:08:53.589> may<00:08:53.749> only<00:08:53.929> be<00:08:54.069> a<00:08:54.249> little<00:08:54.449> bit<00:08:54.749> for<00:08:54.869> any<00:08:55.009> given<00:08:55.209> call,<00:08:55.549> but<00:08:55.689> then<00:08:55.889> magnified<00:08:56.389> by<00:08:56.649> thousands,<00:08:57.229> you<00:08:57.369> get<00:08:57.569> a<00:08:57.749> lot<00:08:57.909> of<00:08:58.029> productivity<00:08:58.529> savings.

00:08:59.209 --> 00:09:00.429
Right.

00:09:00.429 --> 00:09:01.859
How<00:09:00.569> are<00:09:00.669> you<00:09:00.809> thinking<00:09:00.989> about<00:09:01.209> it<00:09:01.389> just<00:09:01.409> generally?

00:09:02.089 --> 00:09:05.309
Do<00:09:02.109> you<00:09:02.169> think<00:09:02.289> it's<00:09:02.449> going<00:09:02.629> to,<00:09:03.189> you<00:09:03.209> know,<00:09:03.369> 5,<00:09:03.649> 10<00:09:03.809> years<00:09:03.989> from<00:09:04.229> now,<00:09:04.409> what<00:09:04.589> are<00:09:04.669> we<00:09:04.829> looking<00:09:05.049> at?

00:09:05.309 --> 00:09:08.329
What<00:09:05.409> does<00:09:06.129> a<00:09:06.249> job<00:09:06.549> even<00:09:06.789> mean<00:09:07.129> in<00:09:07.569> 10<00:09:07.749> years?

00:09:08.329 --> 00:09:19.657
When<00:09:08.889> you<00:09:09.029> look<00:09:09.249> at<00:09:09.409> the<00:09:10.129> rate<00:09:10.669> of<00:09:11.109> acceleration<00:09:12.049> and<00:09:12.329> how<00:09:12.569> ChatGPT-1<00:09:13.029> versus<00:09:13.049> 4<00:09:14.950> and<00:09:15.367> now<00:09:15.608> all<00:09:15.769> these<00:09:16.106> other<00:09:16.331> new<00:09:16.974> providers,<00:09:17.391> just<00:09:17.616> how<00:09:17.873> quickly<00:09:18.291> it's<00:09:18.436> progressed<00:09:18.902> in<00:09:18.982> a<00:09:18.998> matter<00:09:19.303> of<00:09:19.400> years.

00:09:19.785 --> 00:09:22.950
I'm<00:09:19.882> extremely<00:09:20.524> bullish<00:09:20.846> about<00:09:21.231> what<00:09:21.408> can<00:09:21.569> come<00:09:22.452> next.

00:09:24.444 --> 00:09:30.855
Whether<00:09:24.669> or<00:09:24.701> not<00:09:25.023> we're<00:09:25.826> going<00:09:26.067> to<00:09:26.308> the<00:09:26.694> Terminator<00:09:27.192> and<00:09:27.288> Skynet's<00:09:28.637> going<00:09:28.895> to<00:09:29.119> get<00:09:29.264> its<00:09:29.344> self-awareness<00:09:30.003> remains<00:09:30.324> to<00:09:30.421> be<00:09:30.549> seen.

00:09:31.610 --> 00:09:34.598
But<00:09:32.156> I<00:09:32.252> think<00:09:32.574> that<00:09:32.879> it<00:09:33.056> is<00:09:33.216> going<00:09:33.377> to<00:09:33.521> continue<00:09:34.003> to<00:09:34.100> accelerate.

00:09:34.726 --> 00:09:41.715
And<00:09:34.807> I<00:09:34.887> don't<00:09:35.080> see<00:09:35.289> this<00:09:35.481> as<00:09:35.947> a<00:09:36.028> fad,<00:09:36.670> kind<00:09:36.847> of<00:09:36.976> like<00:09:37.136> the<00:09:37.217> metaverse<00:09:37.698> has<00:09:37.859> ultimately<00:09:39.225> come<00:09:39.385> out<00:09:39.498> to<00:09:39.626> being,<00:09:39.867> where<00:09:39.964> that<00:09:40.205> was<00:09:40.365> the<00:09:40.446> big<00:09:40.622> thing<00:09:40.847> a<00:09:40.928> couple<00:09:41.153> of<00:09:41.233> years<00:09:41.426> ago.

00:09:42.116 --> 00:09:48.243
I<00:09:42.293> think<00:09:42.517> there's<00:09:42.693> enough<00:09:42.934> tangible<00:09:43.495> benefit<00:09:44.121> and<00:09:44.361> the<00:09:45.003> ways<00:09:45.340> that<00:09:45.500> companies<00:09:45.901> are<00:09:46.045> thinking<00:09:46.302> about<00:09:46.559> it<00:09:46.687> and<00:09:46.783> using<00:09:47.024> it,<00:09:47.104> it's<00:09:47.264> only<00:09:47.441> going<00:09:47.537> to<00:09:47.585> build<00:09:47.842> on<00:09:47.986> itself.

00:09:48.692 --> 00:09:50.199
Yeah,<00:09:48.948> that's<00:09:49.510> really<00:09:49.766> interesting.

00:09:50.873 --> 00:10:05.837
You<00:09:50.953> mentioned<00:09:51.274> DEI<00:09:51.835> before,<00:09:52.236> and<00:09:52.461> I<00:09:52.509> don't<00:09:52.637> want<00:09:52.765> to<00:09:52.878> turn<00:09:53.038> it<00:09:53.182> into<00:09:53.343> a<00:09:53.423> political<00:09:53.760> thing<00:09:53.920> because<00:09:54.145> I<00:09:54.241> know<00:09:54.401> it's<00:09:54.562> become<00:09:54.882> a<00:09:54.947> political<00:09:55.283> thing,<00:09:55.444> but<00:09:55.668> how<00:09:55.845> is<00:09:56.005> that<00:09:56.149> affecting<00:09:56.566> companies<00:09:56.967> and<00:09:57.048> how<00:09:57.144> are<00:09:57.272> people<00:09:57.529> thinking<00:09:57.833> about<00:09:58.074> it<00:09:58.635> now<00:09:58.892> that<00:09:59.133> the<00:09:59.213> winds<00:09:59.518> have<00:09:59.694> shifted<00:10:00.335> and<00:10:00.576> people<00:10:00.897> are<00:10:01.057> cutting<00:10:01.298> back<00:10:01.602> on<00:10:02.019> DEI<00:10:02.661> programs<00:10:03.303> and<00:10:03.928> roles<00:10:04.425> and<00:10:04.570> things<00:10:04.810> like<00:10:04.987> that<00:10:05.147> within<00:10:05.387> their<00:10:05.548> company?

00:10:06.189 --> 00:10:13.295
Well,<00:10:06.286> there's,<00:10:06.558> you<00:10:06.590> know,<00:10:06.815> it's<00:10:06.991> funny,<00:10:07.232> we<00:10:07.456> were<00:10:07.697> just<00:10:07.873> talking<00:10:08.162> about<00:10:08.419> this<00:10:08.579> on<00:10:08.980> an<00:10:09.301> all-hands<00:10:09.782> with<00:10:09.878> the<00:10:10.039> Cartus<00:10:10.359> team<00:10:10.600> today<00:10:11.001> and<00:10:11.482> especially<00:10:11.867> from<00:10:11.964> our<00:10:12.124> perspective,<00:10:12.589> there's<00:10:12.830> two<00:10:12.991> lenses.

00:10:13.472 --> 00:10:18.736
One<00:10:13.649> lens<00:10:13.969> is<00:10:14.210> the<00:10:14.274> same<00:10:14.611> as<00:10:15.398> any<00:10:15.558> other<00:10:15.719> company,<00:10:16.056> you<00:10:16.088> know,<00:10:16.216> what<00:10:16.377> are<00:10:16.441> our<00:10:16.617> hiring<00:10:17.003> practices<00:10:17.965> and<00:10:18.142> how<00:10:18.302> we're<00:10:18.383> going<00:10:18.543> to<00:10:18.575> do<00:10:18.688> them.

00:10:18.848 --> 00:10:26.824
And<00:10:19.811> we,<00:10:20.292> you<00:10:20.324> know,<00:10:20.533> I'm<00:10:20.645> of<00:10:20.774> the<00:10:20.870> belief<00:10:21.416> that<00:10:22.218> we<00:10:22.298> want<00:10:22.443> to<00:10:22.475> get<00:10:22.699> the<00:10:22.796> best<00:10:23.036> talent<00:10:23.662> and<00:10:24.080> the<00:10:24.802> diverse<00:10:25.203> voices<00:10:25.765> benefit<00:10:26.390> a<00:10:26.471> company.

00:10:26.888 --> 00:10:31.991
If<00:10:27.032> you<00:10:27.129> have<00:10:27.530> one<00:10:27.835> lens<00:10:28.557> on<00:10:28.878> a<00:10:28.894> company,<00:10:29.760> you're<00:10:29.937> not<00:10:30.178> going<00:10:30.322> to<00:10:30.418> get<00:10:30.884> the<00:10:31.060> best<00:10:31.397> thinking.

00:10:32.810 --> 00:10:37.977
So<00:10:33.066> I<00:10:33.082> mean,<00:10:33.548> in<00:10:33.708> that<00:10:33.949> regard,<00:10:34.495> we're<00:10:34.591> going<00:10:34.832> to<00:10:35.088> certainly<00:10:35.393> align<00:10:35.714> with<00:10:35.778> the<00:10:35.955> law<00:10:36.436> and<00:10:36.661> what's<00:10:37.303> mandated.

00:10:38.362 --> 00:10:44.484
But<00:10:39.166> we<00:10:39.326> believe<00:10:39.873> in,<00:10:40.917> basically<00:10:41.238> we<00:10:41.318> believe<00:10:41.736> in<00:10:41.897> D&I<00:10:42.700> and<00:10:42.941> bringing<00:10:43.263> in<00:10:43.343> the<00:10:43.423> best<00:10:43.728> talent.

00:10:44.789 --> 00:11:00.710
But<00:10:44.869> then<00:10:45.030> the<00:10:45.174> other<00:10:45.351> lens,<00:10:46.074> and<00:10:46.219> this<00:10:46.379> is<00:10:46.556> one<00:10:46.701> of<00:10:47.520> the<00:10:47.745> offerings<00:10:48.147> Cartus<00:10:48.468> has,<00:10:49.111> we<00:10:49.271> consult,<00:10:49.769> we<00:10:49.914> offer<00:10:50.091> consulting<00:10:50.573> services<00:10:51.440> on<00:10:52.099> D&I<00:10:52.645> and<00:10:52.742> talent<00:10:53.063> management<00:10:53.449> because<00:10:53.690> again,<00:10:54.011> mobility<00:10:54.814> is<00:10:55.071> a<00:10:55.232> piece<00:10:55.634> of<00:10:56.035> where<00:10:56.501> you<00:10:56.598> put<00:10:56.903> your<00:10:56.999> best<00:10:57.240> people<00:10:57.626> in<00:10:57.706> the<00:10:57.786> right<00:10:58.027> places<00:10:58.317> so<00:10:58.509> that<00:10:58.702> you<00:10:58.734> can<00:10:58.799> maximize<00:10:59.265> the<00:10:59.345> returns<00:11:00.068> for<00:11:00.212> the<00:11:00.357> company.

00:11:01.482 --> 00:11:16.427
And<00:11:01.578> it's<00:11:01.980> that<00:11:02.076> same<00:11:02.462> lens<00:11:02.960> if<00:11:03.104> a<00:11:03.747> company<00:11:04.293> X<00:11:05.028> Company<00:11:05.048> X<00:11:05.177> is<00:11:05.498> only<00:11:05.754> looking<00:11:06.139> at,<00:11:06.797> say,<00:11:08.162> white<00:11:08.338> males<00:11:08.723> between<00:11:08.964> the<00:11:09.028> age<00:11:09.205> of<00:11:09.269> 40<00:11:09.542> and<00:11:09.670> 50,<00:11:10.489> whereas<00:11:10.730> Company<00:11:11.131> Y<00:11:11.371> is<00:11:11.757> looking<00:11:12.078> at<00:11:12.318> the<00:11:12.495> breadth<00:11:12.880> of<00:11:12.976> talent<00:11:13.297> they<00:11:13.378> have<00:11:13.538> available<00:11:13.939> to<00:11:14.100> them,<00:11:14.662> Company<00:11:14.966> Y<00:11:15.063> is<00:11:15.207> going<00:11:15.303> to<00:11:15.384> be<00:11:15.480> more<00:11:15.721> successful.

00:11:16.732 --> 00:11:30.695
And<00:11:16.828> so<00:11:17.149> it's<00:11:18.417> almost<00:11:18.898> changing<00:11:19.236> the<00:11:19.316> conversation<00:11:20.022> from<00:11:20.279> just<00:11:20.584> thinking<00:11:20.840> about<00:11:21.097> it<00:11:21.226> in<00:11:21.322> terms<00:11:21.563> of<00:11:21.707> diversity<00:11:22.590> and<00:11:22.831> all<00:11:22.991> the<00:11:23.168> baggage<00:11:23.553> that<00:11:23.633> comes<00:11:23.858> with<00:11:23.954> that<00:11:24.211> and<00:11:24.291> more<00:11:24.516> looking<00:11:24.837> at<00:11:25.559> what<00:11:25.671> is<00:11:25.816> the<00:11:25.896> best<00:11:26.217> way<00:11:26.377> for<00:11:26.538> us<00:11:26.682> to<00:11:26.795> manage<00:11:27.084> our<00:11:27.180> talent<00:11:27.661> and<00:11:27.758> achieve<00:11:29.250> the<00:11:29.330> returns<00:11:29.908> that<00:11:30.133> are<00:11:30.245> expected.

00:11:31.256 --> 00:11:34.076
Yeah,<00:11:31.592> and<00:11:31.833> it's<00:11:31.993> really<00:11:32.153> interesting<00:11:32.538> that<00:11:32.618> it's<00:11:32.794> become<00:11:33.035> such<00:11:33.259> a<00:11:33.275> hot<00:11:33.515> topic,<00:11:33.980> huh?

00:11:35.022 --> 00:11:43.578
Like,<00:11:35.118> that<00:11:35.278> must<00:11:35.518> be<00:11:36.175> fascinating<00:11:37.441> for<00:11:37.762> business<00:11:38.082> leaders<00:11:38.274> because<00:11:38.483> I<00:11:38.499> remember<00:11:38.819> when<00:11:39.044> DEI<00:11:39.252> was<00:11:39.508> being<00:11:39.604> talked<00:11:39.781> about<00:11:39.893> in<00:11:39.925> like<00:11:40.085> 2010<00:11:41.511> and,<00:11:41.768> you<00:11:41.864> know,<00:11:42.248> it<00:11:42.489> wasn't<00:11:42.745> even<00:11:42.889> a<00:11:42.970> political<00:11:43.370> thing.

00:11:43.627 --> 00:11:46.222
It<00:11:43.675> was<00:11:43.915> just,<00:11:44.171> hey,<00:11:44.396> how<00:11:44.492> do<00:11:44.572> we—<00:11:45.117> and<00:11:45.293> now<00:11:45.533> it<00:11:45.854> really<00:11:46.174> is.

00:11:46.655 --> 00:11:53.706
I<00:11:46.719> mean,<00:11:47.216> we're<00:11:47.376> talking<00:11:47.761> like<00:11:47.921> the<00:11:48.097> day<00:11:48.722> after<00:11:49.459> the<00:11:49.604> President<00:11:49.812> of<00:11:49.844> the<00:11:49.924> United<00:11:50.245> States<00:11:50.966> literally<00:11:51.302> mentioned<00:11:51.703> this<00:11:52.007> in<00:11:52.248> his<00:11:52.728> State<00:11:53.001> of<00:11:53.049> the<00:11:53.129> Union<00:11:53.465> speech.

00:11:54.411 --> 00:11:56.350
So<00:11:54.651> it's<00:11:55.388> reached<00:11:55.629> all<00:11:55.709> the<00:11:55.789> way<00:11:55.949> to<00:11:56.029> there.

00:11:56.430 --> 00:12:04.056
Yeah,<00:11:56.911> it's<00:11:58.017> Like<00:11:58.178> you<00:11:58.210> said,<00:11:59.238> without<00:11:59.543> getting<00:11:59.800> political,<00:12:00.266> but<00:12:00.362> it's<00:12:00.764> interesting<00:12:01.230> how<00:12:01.471> different<00:12:01.792> topics<00:12:02.290> have<00:12:02.450> taken<00:12:02.836> on<00:12:03.157> outsized<00:12:03.591> importance.

00:12:04.137 --> 00:12:12.216
Prior<00:12:05.261> to<00:12:05.663> coming<00:12:05.903> to<00:12:05.984> Cardus,<00:12:06.530> I<00:12:06.610> worked<00:12:06.867> at<00:12:06.947> a<00:12:07.012> company<00:12:07.333> called<00:12:07.494> Riverside<00:12:07.911> Insights,<00:12:08.393> and<00:12:08.473> we<00:12:08.570> sold<00:12:08.875> assessments<00:12:09.501> into<00:12:09.614> schools,<00:12:10.481> the<00:12:10.561> kindergarten<00:12:11.364> through<00:12:11.525> grade<00:12:11.830> 12.

00:12:12.264 --> 00:12:19.475
It's<00:12:12.970> another<00:12:13.292> area<00:12:13.677> where<00:12:14.416> education<00:12:16.006> has<00:12:16.986> taken<00:12:17.291> on<00:12:17.387> this—<00:12:18.110> I'm<00:12:18.255> going<00:12:18.335> to<00:12:18.367> say<00:12:18.656> outsized<00:12:19.058> importance.

00:12:19.540 --> 00:12:35.311
Education<00:12:19.957> is<00:12:20.053> incredibly<00:12:20.664> important,<00:12:21.483> but<00:12:21.724> in<00:12:21.868> terms<00:12:22.206> of<00:12:22.366> the<00:12:22.688> political<00:12:23.169> spectrum<00:12:23.956> and<00:12:24.117> how<00:12:24.358> it<00:12:24.599> is<00:12:24.759> or<00:12:24.856> isn't<00:12:25.338> woke<00:12:25.900> or<00:12:26.687> how<00:12:26.863> different<00:12:27.169> things<00:12:27.426> being<00:12:27.666> taught<00:12:27.923> or<00:12:27.988> not<00:12:28.229> being<00:12:28.453> taught,<00:12:28.775> you<00:12:28.871> know,<00:12:29.096> have<00:12:29.273> created<00:12:29.658> real<00:12:29.754> dividing<00:12:30.140> lines<00:12:30.461> between<00:12:31.441> whether<00:12:31.666> it's<00:12:31.826> red<00:12:32.003> states,<00:12:32.324> blue<00:12:32.485> states,<00:12:32.886> liberals,<00:12:33.288> conservatives,<00:12:33.930> whatever<00:12:34.412> lens<00:12:34.653> you<00:12:34.733> want<00:12:34.894> to<00:12:35.038> use.

00:12:36.082 --> 00:12:44.177
Again,<00:12:38.331> try<00:12:38.588> to<00:12:38.764> sort<00:12:39.166> of<00:12:39.455> stay<00:12:40.114> out<00:12:40.354> of<00:12:41.704> making<00:12:42.105> an<00:12:42.458> opinion<00:12:42.844> call<00:12:43.085> on<00:12:43.229> who's<00:12:43.470> right<00:12:43.631> or<00:12:43.711> who's<00:12:43.968> wrong.

00:12:44.691 --> 00:12:48.899
But<00:12:44.835> it's<00:12:44.932> just,<00:12:45.237> you<00:12:45.285> know,<00:12:45.414> these<00:12:45.622> are<00:12:45.719> things<00:12:45.960> that<00:12:46.056> are<00:12:46.136> fundamental—<00:12:46.618> talent<00:12:46.955> management<00:12:47.646> and<00:12:47.967> making<00:12:48.224> your<00:12:48.305> business<00:12:48.529> success.

00:12:49.011 --> 00:12:52.063
That's<00:12:49.252> fundamental<00:12:50.457> to<00:12:50.955> being<00:12:51.179> successful<00:12:51.661> in<00:12:51.758> business.

00:12:52.304 --> 00:13:01.813
Education<00:12:52.882> and<00:12:53.043> what<00:12:53.187> we<00:12:53.348> teach<00:12:53.589> our<00:12:53.685> kids<00:12:54.022> is<00:12:54.231> fundamental<00:12:54.954> to<00:12:55.596> how<00:12:55.692> successful<00:12:56.253> they're<00:12:56.413> going<00:12:56.525> to<00:12:56.573> be<00:12:56.653> as<00:12:56.798> individuals<00:12:57.358> and<00:12:57.438> how<00:12:57.535> successful<00:12:58.176> we<00:12:58.416> as<00:12:58.736> America<00:12:59.201> are<00:12:59.361> going<00:12:59.457> to<00:12:59.537> be<00:12:59.778> in,<00:13:00.018> in<00:13:00.098> the<00:13:00.563> long<00:13:00.739> term<00:13:00.964> and<00:13:01.044> grand<00:13:01.236> scheme<00:13:01.476> of<00:13:01.540> things.

00:13:01.861 --> 00:13:11.363
So<00:13:02.117> it's<00:13:03.127> one<00:13:03.303> thing<00:13:03.463> to,<00:13:03.944> to<00:13:04.104> make<00:13:04.409> it<00:13:04.489> an<00:13:04.985> issue<00:13:05.450> the<00:13:05.530> way<00:13:05.706> it<00:13:05.787> has,<00:13:06.267> but<00:13:06.764> the<00:13:06.844> more<00:13:07.165> that<00:13:07.309> we<00:13:07.389> fight<00:13:07.773> over<00:13:07.950> it,<00:13:08.190> the<00:13:08.334> less<00:13:08.575> likely<00:13:08.975> anybody's<00:13:09.376> going<00:13:09.552> to,<00:13:09.696> going<00:13:09.808> to<00:13:09.873> turn<00:13:10.097> out<00:13:10.353> to<00:13:10.449> be<00:13:10.674> successful.

00:13:11.699 --> 00:13:12.981
Yeah,<00:13:11.956> that's<00:13:12.116> an<00:13:12.196> interesting<00:13:12.580> way<00:13:12.693> to<00:13:12.821> put<00:13:12.917> it.

00:13:13.398 --> 00:13:15.385
How,<00:13:13.862> uh,<00:13:14.039> what<00:13:14.119> does<00:13:14.263> a<00:13:14.343> typical<00:13:14.664> day<00:13:14.824> look<00:13:14.936> like<00:13:15.144> for<00:13:15.224> you?

00:13:15.641 --> 00:13:18.605
The,<00:13:16.106> um,<00:13:16.682> kind<00:13:16.827> of<00:13:16.907> at<00:13:16.939> a<00:13:17.003> macro<00:13:17.307> level,<00:13:17.708> I<00:13:17.788> get<00:13:17.900> up<00:13:18.109> very<00:13:18.365> early.

00:13:18.910 --> 00:13:20.512
Um,<00:13:19.390> I'm<00:13:19.487> an<00:13:19.791> avid<00:13:19.983> cyclist.

00:13:20.608 --> 00:13:33.439
I've<00:13:20.752> been<00:13:20.849> a<00:13:20.929> competitive<00:13:21.393> athlete<00:13:21.730> most<00:13:21.858> of<00:13:21.954> my<00:13:22.114> life,<00:13:22.371> so<00:13:23.252> there's<00:13:23.477> a<00:13:23.493> small<00:13:23.814> group<00:13:24.054> of<00:13:24.199> us<00:13:24.375> who<00:13:24.536> we're<00:13:25.161> out<00:13:25.242> on<00:13:25.322> our<00:13:25.418> bikes<00:13:25.819> by<00:13:25.963> about<00:13:26.204> 5:30<00:13:26.621> in<00:13:26.701> the<00:13:26.781> morning<00:13:27.102> several<00:13:27.407> days<00:13:27.600> a<00:13:27.728> week,<00:13:29.268> all<00:13:29.508> with<00:13:29.589> the<00:13:29.669> intent<00:13:30.006> of<00:13:30.134> kind<00:13:30.311> of<00:13:30.375> getting<00:13:30.872> back<00:13:31.193> before<00:13:32.155> kids<00:13:32.380> have<00:13:32.556> to<00:13:32.636> be<00:13:32.781> off<00:13:32.941> for<00:13:33.021> school.

00:13:33.920 --> 00:13:35.973
So<00:13:34.706> start<00:13:35.043> the<00:13:35.107> day<00:13:35.203> with<00:13:35.347> exercise.

00:13:36.631 --> 00:13:39.117
Once<00:13:36.887> they<00:13:37.032> are,<00:13:37.433> as<00:13:37.545> I<00:13:37.609> mentioned,<00:13:37.994> Cartus<00:13:38.347> is<00:13:38.556> remote<00:13:38.812> first.

00:13:39.197 --> 00:13:43.224
So<00:13:39.278> my<00:13:39.454> office<00:13:39.855> and<00:13:39.935> where<00:13:39.999> I'm<00:13:40.160> speaking<00:13:40.497> to<00:13:40.577> you<00:13:40.721> from<00:13:40.898> right<00:13:41.122> now<00:13:41.395> is<00:13:41.780> just<00:13:42.181> one<00:13:42.277> of<00:13:42.341> the<00:13:42.422> rooms<00:13:42.630> in<00:13:42.726> my<00:13:42.823> house.

00:13:43.641 --> 00:13:44.844
So<00:13:43.769> I<00:13:43.801> don't<00:13:43.929> have<00:13:44.090> to<00:13:44.186> deal<00:13:44.250> with<00:13:44.427> the<00:13:44.507> commute.

00:13:44.908 --> 00:13:49.768
So<00:13:45.133> it's<00:13:45.710> get<00:13:45.870> through<00:13:46.015> the<00:13:46.111> working<00:13:46.432> day<00:13:46.737> and<00:13:47.314> I<00:13:47.394> work<00:13:47.635> generally<00:13:48.357> traditional<00:13:49.464> hours.

00:13:50.266 --> 00:13:53.768
Which<00:13:50.378> allows<00:13:50.684> me<00:13:50.828> then<00:13:51.005> to<00:13:51.150> do<00:13:51.632> soccer<00:13:52.049> games<00:13:52.387> and<00:13:52.467> basketball<00:13:52.997> games<00:13:53.254> in<00:13:53.335> the<00:13:53.479> evening.

00:13:53.817 --> 00:13:55.054
And<00:13:53.897> then<00:13:54.042> Cardus<00:13:54.363> is<00:13:54.459> a<00:13:54.540> global<00:13:54.781> company.

00:13:55.118 --> 00:14:05.176
So<00:13:55.343> typically<00:13:55.729> I<00:13:55.809> am<00:13:55.905> back<00:13:56.146> on<00:13:56.179> my<00:13:56.307> computer<00:13:56.773> just<00:13:56.950> checking<00:13:57.351> emails,<00:13:57.753> checking<00:13:58.074> Teams,<00:13:59.054> seeing<00:13:59.279> if<00:13:59.360> there's<00:13:59.585> anything<00:13:59.842> that<00:14:00.002> requires<00:14:00.484> my<00:14:00.790> input<00:14:01.850> to<00:14:01.930> support<00:14:02.493> the<00:14:03.135> people<00:14:03.360> on<00:14:03.441> the<00:14:03.521> other<00:14:03.617> side<00:14:03.858> of<00:14:03.923> the<00:14:04.003> globe<00:14:04.260> before<00:14:04.581> then<00:14:04.742> going<00:14:04.903> to<00:14:05.047> bed.

00:14:05.706 --> 00:14:08.518
What<00:14:05.819> do<00:14:05.931> you<00:14:06.092> read<00:14:06.590> and<00:14:06.751> what<00:14:06.992> reading<00:14:07.216> recommendations<00:14:07.795> would<00:14:07.939> you<00:14:08.020> have<00:14:08.180> for<00:14:08.277> us?

00:14:08.823 --> 00:14:10.366
I<00:14:09.000> am<00:14:09.144> an<00:14:09.787> avid<00:14:10.028> reader.

00:14:11.153 --> 00:14:12.278
I<00:14:11.233> love<00:14:11.474> science<00:14:11.892> fiction.

00:14:12.519 --> 00:14:15.941
I<00:14:12.599> love<00:14:12.856> a<00:14:12.936> very<00:14:13.579> narrow<00:14:14.302> genre<00:14:14.945> of<00:14:15.266> running<00:14:15.507> fiction.

00:14:16.069 --> 00:14:19.395
So<00:14:16.632> Once<00:14:16.873> a<00:14:16.937> Runner<00:14:17.194> by<00:14:17.355> John<00:14:17.660> Parker,<00:14:18.142> The<00:14:18.239> Olympian<00:14:18.624> by<00:14:18.785> Bryan<00:14:19.026> Granville.

00:14:20.006 --> 00:14:23.991
And<00:14:20.086> then<00:14:20.247> I<00:14:20.327> like<00:14:20.713> a<00:14:21.195> real<00:14:21.356> mix<00:14:21.918> of<00:14:22.095> nonfiction<00:14:22.818> exploration<00:14:23.397> and<00:14:23.525> other<00:14:23.702> things.

00:14:24.730 --> 00:14:29.519
The<00:14:24.891> one<00:14:25.052> that<00:14:25.212> I'd<00:14:25.373> recommend<00:14:25.935> that<00:14:26.032> I<00:14:26.257> just<00:14:26.578> finished<00:14:26.916> a<00:14:26.996> few<00:14:27.221> weeks<00:14:27.462> ago<00:14:27.655> is<00:14:27.799> called<00:14:27.960> The<00:14:28.121> Looming<00:14:28.362> Tower<00:14:28.764> by<00:14:28.989> Lawrence<00:14:29.310> Wright.

00:14:29.567 --> 00:14:35.850
It's<00:14:29.808> been<00:14:30.515> out<00:14:30.611> for<00:14:30.756> a<00:14:30.772> number<00:14:30.997> of<00:14:31.077> years,<00:14:31.335> but<00:14:31.415> essentially<00:14:31.752> it's<00:14:31.881> about<00:14:32.058> the<00:14:32.138> rise<00:14:32.443> of<00:14:32.540> Al-Qaeda<00:14:33.648> and<00:14:33.825> Osama<00:14:34.227> bin<00:14:34.388> Laden<00:14:34.789> leading<00:14:35.095> up<00:14:35.191> to<00:14:35.287> 9/11.

00:14:36.541 --> 00:14:45.563
And<00:14:36.637> it's<00:14:37.103> very,<00:14:37.601> very<00:14:38.180> approachable<00:14:38.951> despite<00:14:40.237> a<00:14:40.333> lot<00:14:40.574> of,<00:14:41.040> you<00:14:41.072> know,<00:14:42.726> getting<00:14:42.903> specific<00:14:43.319> about<00:14:43.544> the<00:14:43.624> different<00:14:43.864> names<00:14:44.249> and<00:14:44.329> the<00:14:44.425> different<00:14:44.666> people<00:14:44.970> who<00:14:45.050> are<00:14:45.082> involved.

00:14:45.611 --> 00:15:01.976
And,<00:14:46.092> you<00:14:46.188> know,<00:14:46.605> someone<00:14:46.910> my<00:14:47.230> age<00:14:47.390> having<00:14:47.855> lived<00:14:48.032> through<00:14:48.176> 9/11,<00:14:48.753> and<00:14:48.833> I<00:14:48.913> was<00:14:49.057> actually<00:14:49.538> living<00:14:49.795> in<00:14:49.875> the<00:14:49.955> DC<00:14:50.276> area<00:14:50.516> when<00:14:50.676> that<00:14:50.837> took<00:14:51.077> place,<00:14:51.782> and<00:14:51.846> it's<00:14:52.984> just<00:14:53.177> a<00:14:53.241> fascinating<00:14:54.828> book<00:14:55.405> about—<00:14:56.270> and<00:14:56.847> unfortunately<00:14:57.264> knowing<00:14:57.633> all<00:14:57.729> the<00:14:57.873> things<00:14:58.049> that<00:14:58.194> could<00:14:58.290> have<00:14:58.370> been<00:14:58.530> done<00:14:58.771> differently<00:14:59.332> such<00:14:59.716> that<00:15:00.053> it,<00:15:00.534> you<00:15:00.566> know,<00:15:00.999> 9/11<00:15:01.431> didn't<00:15:01.656> happen.

00:15:02.056 --> 00:15:04.429
But<00:15:03.002> I'd<00:15:03.259> strongly<00:15:03.739> recommend<00:15:04.204> that.

00:15:04.685 --> 00:15:13.907
And<00:15:04.861> then<00:15:05.903> more<00:15:06.080> immediately,<00:15:06.624> I'm<00:15:07.185> reading<00:15:08.291> The<00:15:08.323> Nobody<00:15:08.692> People<00:15:08.949> by<00:15:09.029> Bob<00:15:09.269> Poll,<00:15:09.734> which<00:15:09.910> is<00:15:10.600> science<00:15:10.940> fiction<00:15:11.443> and<00:15:11.588> basically<00:15:11.994> like<00:15:12.253> an<00:15:12.642> X-Men<00:15:13.047> grounded<00:15:13.404> in<00:15:13.534> reality.

00:15:13.972 --> 00:15:15.382
So<00:15:14.263> it<00:15:14.361> kind<00:15:14.523> of<00:15:14.604> runs<00:15:14.831> the<00:15:14.912> spectrum.

00:15:15.431 --> 00:15:16.582
Oh,<00:15:15.982> that's<00:15:16.387> cool.

00:15:16.792 --> 00:15:17.376
That's<00:15:17.036> way<00:15:17.263> cool.

00:15:19.120 --> 00:15:25.827
Who's<00:15:19.297> a<00:15:19.377> leader<00:15:19.635> that<00:15:19.732> you<00:15:19.861> admire<00:15:20.990> or<00:15:21.248> look<00:15:21.474> up<00:15:21.715> to<00:15:22.280> or,<00:15:23.005> you<00:15:23.086> know,<00:15:23.199> see<00:15:23.586> as<00:15:23.731> like<00:15:23.892> a<00:15:23.989> great<00:15:24.231> example<00:15:24.795> of<00:15:24.956> what<00:15:25.118> a<00:15:25.198> leader<00:15:25.440> should<00:15:25.682> be?

00:15:26.649 --> 00:15:51.792
I<00:15:26.730> mean,<00:15:27.764> there's<00:15:27.925> lots<00:15:28.166> of<00:15:28.343> stereotypical<00:15:29.437> answers<00:15:29.840> I<00:15:29.920> could<00:15:30.081> give<00:15:30.258> to<00:15:30.339> that,<00:15:30.644> but<00:15:30.805> again,<00:15:31.143> a<00:15:31.208> little<00:15:31.385> more<00:15:31.626> grounded,<00:15:32.109> I<00:15:32.189> feel<00:15:32.415> like<00:15:32.656> I've<00:15:32.769> been<00:15:32.914> extremely<00:15:33.541> blessed<00:15:33.895> in<00:15:33.976> that<00:15:34.266> almost<00:15:34.668> every<00:15:34.909> job<00:15:35.247> I've<00:15:35.408> ever<00:15:35.634> had<00:15:36.403> I've<00:15:36.547> had<00:15:36.804> strong<00:15:37.768> leaders,<00:15:38.266> managers,<00:15:38.877> and<00:15:38.941> especially<00:15:39.375> mentors,<00:15:40.001> because<00:15:40.322> it's<00:15:40.499> one<00:15:40.724> thing<00:15:40.901> to<00:15:41.045> have,<00:15:41.367> like,<00:15:42.250> you<00:15:42.298> know,<00:15:42.748> the<00:15:42.844> CEO<00:15:43.278> of<00:15:43.326> your<00:15:43.471> company<00:15:43.873> is<00:15:44.017> this<00:15:44.194> great<00:15:44.435> leader<00:15:44.756> and<00:15:44.836> getting<00:15:45.077> great<00:15:45.318> results,<00:15:45.800> but<00:15:45.945> you<00:15:46.041> have<00:15:46.266> no<00:15:46.604> interaction<00:15:47.166> with<00:15:47.326> them<00:15:47.551> versus<00:15:48.451> they're<00:15:48.612> taking<00:15:48.933> a<00:15:49.013> personal<00:15:49.576> interest<00:15:50.138> in<00:15:50.298> your<00:15:50.459> development<00:15:51.182> and<00:15:51.262> your<00:15:51.487> growth.

00:15:51.921 --> 00:15:57.945
And<00:15:52.001> so<00:15:53.126> my<00:15:53.367> answer<00:15:53.672> to<00:15:53.833> that<00:15:53.993> is<00:15:54.154> actually<00:15:54.459> some<00:15:54.716> of<00:15:54.877> the<00:15:55.921> leaders<00:15:56.226> that<00:15:56.387> I've<00:15:56.564> worked<00:15:56.869> for<00:15:57.110> within<00:15:57.367> my<00:15:57.527> career.

00:15:58.009 --> 00:16:07.997

00:16:22.811 --> 00:16:34.143
But<00:16:23.774> again,<00:16:24.400> using<00:16:24.577> the<00:16:24.657> word<00:16:24.817> at<00:16:24.898> a<00:16:24.914> macro<00:16:25.299> level,<00:16:26.021> the<00:16:26.117> fact<00:16:26.406> that<00:16:26.503> they<00:16:26.583> were<00:16:26.743> willing<00:16:27.048> to<00:16:27.144> invest<00:16:27.626> their<00:16:27.867> personal<00:16:28.412> time<00:16:28.766> and<00:16:28.990> energy<00:16:29.472> to<00:16:29.632> mentor<00:16:30.114> me<00:16:30.435> and<00:16:30.595> to<00:16:30.691> make<00:16:31.077> me<00:16:31.237> better<00:16:31.558> at<00:16:31.783> what<00:16:31.943> I<00:16:32.200> did<00:16:32.987> You<00:16:33.228> don't<00:16:33.468> often<00:16:33.709> see<00:16:33.886> that.

00:16:34.207 --> 00:16:35.652
And<00:16:34.271> to<00:16:34.368> me,<00:16:34.512> that's<00:16:34.705> a<00:16:34.769> sign<00:16:35.010> of<00:16:35.090> a<00:16:35.171> great<00:16:35.476> leader.

What<00:16:36.391> do<00:16:36.455> you<00:16:36.616> know<00:16:36.953> now<00:16:37.563> that<00:16:37.724> you<00:16:37.900> wish<00:16:38.125> you<00:16:38.222> had<00:16:38.382> known<00:16:38.703> at<00:16:38.784> the<00:16:38.864> beginning<00:16:39.265> of<00:16:39.330> your<00:16:39.570> career?

One<00:16:40.486> of<00:16:40.550> the<00:16:41.433> biggest<00:16:41.915> lessons<00:16:42.381> learned<00:16:42.557> I've<00:16:42.782> had<00:16:43.023> is,<00:16:43.505> and<00:16:43.746> again,<00:16:44.099> it's<00:16:44.725> maybe<00:16:45.030> a<00:16:45.046> bit<00:16:45.207> of<00:16:45.287> a<00:16:45.367> cliché,<00:16:45.994> but<00:16:47.118> not<00:16:47.375> being<00:16:47.551> afraid<00:16:48.001> to<00:16:48.161> just<00:16:48.563> quickly<00:16:48.820> take<00:16:49.045> decisive<00:16:49.542> action.

00:16:49.928 --> 00:17:10.238
And<00:16:50.008> so<00:16:50.249> again,<00:16:50.506> as<00:16:50.602> a<00:16:50.666> specific<00:16:51.068> example,<00:16:51.646> I<00:16:51.694> had<00:16:51.855> a<00:16:51.871> sales<00:16:52.353> leader<00:16:52.834> several<00:16:53.139> jobs<00:16:53.477> ago<00:16:54.279> who,<00:16:54.825> when<00:16:54.922> you<00:16:55.066> got<00:16:55.307> him<00:16:55.500> in<00:16:55.644> front<00:16:55.869> of<00:16:56.030> clients,<00:16:57.250> I<00:16:57.314> mean,<00:16:57.475> just<00:16:57.893> he<00:16:58.053> knew<00:16:58.358> them<00:16:58.695> backwards<00:16:59.097> and<00:16:59.177> forwards<00:16:59.964> and<00:17:00.301> they<00:17:00.381> were<00:17:00.542> buddy-buddy<00:17:01.168> and<00:17:01.329> just,<00:17:01.666> I<00:17:01.682> mean,<00:17:01.811> he<00:17:01.907> was<00:17:01.987> so<00:17:02.308> good,<00:17:02.630> but<00:17:02.774> then<00:17:03.493> But<00:17:03.513> on<00:17:03.609> the<00:17:03.753> back<00:17:04.058> end,<00:17:04.861> back<00:17:05.054> in<00:17:05.118> the<00:17:05.262> office,<00:17:05.840> I<00:17:05.856> mean,<00:17:06.065> he<00:17:06.145> was,<00:17:07.124> to<00:17:07.429> use<00:17:07.590> the<00:17:07.670> word<00:17:07.846> bluntly,<00:17:08.167> I<00:17:08.183> mean,<00:17:08.344> a<00:17:08.408> bit<00:17:08.553> of<00:17:08.585> a<00:17:08.649> cancer<00:17:09.211> in<00:17:09.355> terms<00:17:09.612> of<00:17:09.692> the<00:17:09.772> culture.

00:17:11.217 --> 00:17:15.390
But<00:17:11.297> because<00:17:11.554> he<00:17:11.602> was<00:17:11.715> so<00:17:11.939> good<00:17:12.726> with<00:17:12.886> clients,<00:17:13.384> I<00:17:13.464> waited<00:17:13.849> way<00:17:14.026> too<00:17:14.267> long<00:17:14.588> to<00:17:14.732> make<00:17:14.909> a<00:17:14.973> change.

00:17:15.471 --> 00:17:21.393
And<00:17:16.177> once<00:17:16.434> I<00:17:16.514> did,<00:17:16.995> I<00:17:17.076> realized,<00:17:18.360> crap,<00:17:18.761> I<00:17:18.841> should<00:17:19.146> have<00:17:19.949> done<00:17:20.125> this<00:17:20.527> a<00:17:20.607> long<00:17:20.848> time<00:17:21.088> ago.

00:17:22.051 --> 00:17:31.361
And<00:17:22.196> so<00:17:22.372> that's<00:17:22.677> been<00:17:22.774> a<00:17:22.918> real<00:17:23.255> learning<00:17:23.576> for<00:17:23.753> me,<00:17:24.058> is<00:17:24.218> that<00:17:24.603> you'll<00:17:25.005> almost<00:17:25.342> never<00:17:25.727> look<00:17:25.968> back<00:17:26.626> when<00:17:26.722> you<00:17:26.851> take<00:17:27.107> decisive<00:17:27.573> action<00:17:27.862> like<00:17:27.990> that<00:17:28.215> and<00:17:28.295> say,<00:17:28.696> oh,<00:17:28.937> that<00:17:29.194> was<00:17:29.290> the<00:17:29.419> wrong<00:17:29.659> move,<00:17:29.980> or<00:17:30.318> I<00:17:30.334> should<00:17:30.542> have<00:17:30.639> waited<00:17:30.960> longer.

00:17:32.163 --> 00:17:39.442
Inevitably,<00:17:34.231> when<00:17:34.343> you<00:17:34.487> know<00:17:34.744> there's<00:17:34.968> a<00:17:35.049> problem,<00:17:35.530> the<00:17:35.690> quicker<00:17:36.011> you<00:17:36.091> move<00:17:36.492> to<00:17:36.812> solve<00:17:37.357> it,<00:17:37.598> the<00:17:37.854> better<00:17:38.095> off<00:17:38.319> you<00:17:38.480> and<00:17:38.640> your<00:17:38.736> team<00:17:38.977> is<00:17:39.121> going<00:17:39.233> to<00:17:39.297> be.

00:17:39.858 --> 00:17:46.175
Being<00:17:40.115> a<00:17:40.243> remote-first<00:17:40.965> company,<00:17:42.328> how<00:17:42.424> do<00:17:42.568> you<00:17:43.129> build<00:17:43.450> culture,<00:17:43.867> define<00:17:44.412> culture<00:17:45.053> within<00:17:45.935> Cartus?

00:17:46.769 --> 00:17:47.923
It's<00:17:47.089> a<00:17:47.234> great<00:17:47.538> question.

00:17:48.019 --> 00:17:55.170
You<00:17:48.051> know,<00:17:48.179> one<00:17:48.340> of<00:17:48.372> the<00:17:48.500> things<00:17:48.821> actually<00:17:49.141> that<00:17:49.302> was<00:17:50.119> really<00:17:50.424> wonderful<00:17:50.825> in<00:17:50.921> coming<00:17:51.162> into<00:17:51.386> this<00:17:51.627> role<00:17:51.883> is<00:17:52.043> that<00:17:52.669> Cartus<00:17:53.021> has<00:17:53.262> a<00:17:53.647> tremendous<00:17:54.512> amount<00:17:54.769> of<00:17:54.849> tenure.

00:17:55.266 --> 00:18:00.637
As<00:17:55.474> I've<00:17:55.635> met<00:17:55.971> different<00:17:56.372> members<00:17:56.693> of<00:17:56.757> the<00:17:56.853> team,<00:17:57.254> you<00:17:57.286> know,<00:17:57.398> I<00:17:57.559> introduce<00:17:57.976> myself<00:17:58.521> and<00:17:58.617> tell<00:17:58.729> me<00:17:58.841> about<00:17:59.082> your<00:17:59.178> role<00:17:59.386> and<00:17:59.483> how<00:17:59.595> long<00:17:59.803> you've<00:18:00.044> been<00:18:00.204> with<00:18:00.364> Cartus.

00:18:01.182 --> 00:18:03.042
20<00:18:01.487> years,<00:18:01.984> 30<00:18:02.289> years,<00:18:02.609> 40<00:18:02.866> years.

00:18:03.090 --> 00:18:09.889
I<00:18:03.122> met<00:18:03.283> somebody<00:18:04.229> who,<00:18:04.694> and<00:18:04.774> this<00:18:04.934> was<00:18:05.047> a<00:18:05.175> year<00:18:05.351> and<00:18:05.431> a<00:18:05.512> half<00:18:05.832> ago,<00:18:06.073> who<00:18:06.169> had<00:18:06.313> been<00:18:06.458> with<00:18:06.538> the<00:18:06.634> company<00:18:06.955> for<00:18:07.115> 52<00:18:07.676> and<00:18:07.757> a<00:18:07.821> half<00:18:08.077> years,<00:18:08.494> and<00:18:08.703> we're<00:18:08.799> only<00:18:08.959> 70<00:18:09.360> years<00:18:09.665> old.

00:18:10.306 --> 00:18:16.079
So,<00:18:10.643> I<00:18:10.659> mean,<00:18:11.124> part<00:18:11.429> of<00:18:11.509> it<00:18:11.605> is<00:18:11.765> that<00:18:11.990> I<00:18:12.070> haven't<00:18:12.327> had<00:18:12.631> to<00:18:12.728> create<00:18:13.209> a<00:18:13.225> new<00:18:13.610> culture<00:18:13.930> from<00:18:14.107> scratch<00:18:14.652> because<00:18:14.828> it's<00:18:15.037> so<00:18:15.518> embedded.

00:18:16.239 --> 00:18:22.718
And<00:18:16.817> people,<00:18:17.458> they<00:18:17.602> love<00:18:17.763> their<00:18:17.923> colleagues,<00:18:18.500> they<00:18:18.725> love<00:18:18.885> what<00:18:18.981> they<00:18:19.142> do<00:18:19.302> to<00:18:19.382> support<00:18:19.783> the<00:18:19.863> transferees<00:18:20.585> because<00:18:20.842> I<00:18:20.890> ask,<00:18:21.130> you<00:18:21.162> know,<00:18:21.451> what<00:18:21.772> keeps<00:18:22.028> you<00:18:22.108> here<00:18:22.269> that<00:18:22.509> long?

00:18:22.974 --> 00:18:23.920
And<00:18:23.535> it's<00:18:23.712> that.

00:18:24.033 --> 00:18:32.226
So<00:18:24.594> really<00:18:24.770> my<00:18:25.059> focus<00:18:25.476> is<00:18:25.636> on<00:18:25.780> not<00:18:26.021> screwing<00:18:26.342> it<00:18:26.422> up<00:18:26.919> and<00:18:27.063> making<00:18:27.384> sure<00:18:27.721> that<00:18:28.587> Bringing<00:18:28.843> transparency<00:18:29.901> so<00:18:30.110> that<00:18:30.270> people<00:18:30.511> understand<00:18:31.072> what<00:18:31.248> we're<00:18:31.392> doing<00:18:31.633> and<00:18:31.729> why<00:18:31.889> we're<00:18:32.050> doing<00:18:32.162> it.

00:18:32.274 --> 00:18:37.132
Because<00:18:33.012> the<00:18:33.092> downside<00:18:33.589> of<00:18:33.653> that<00:18:33.878> is<00:18:34.599> there's<00:18:34.840> a<00:18:34.920> lot<00:18:35.160> of,<00:18:35.481> a<00:18:35.641> lot<00:18:35.802> of<00:18:35.882> times<00:18:36.219> it's<00:18:36.379> why<00:18:36.523> are<00:18:36.603> we<00:18:36.684> doing<00:18:36.860> something?

00:18:37.181 --> 00:18:38.752
Well,<00:18:37.405> because<00:18:37.581> that's<00:18:37.822> how<00:18:37.982> we've<00:18:38.127> always<00:18:38.383> done<00:18:38.559> it.

00:18:39.265 --> 00:18:42.872
Well,<00:18:39.425> the<00:18:39.505> market<00:18:39.842> has<00:18:39.922> shifted,<00:18:40.371> our<00:18:40.467> clients'<00:18:40.868> needs<00:18:41.109> have<00:18:41.189> shifted,<00:18:41.574> so<00:18:41.670> we<00:18:41.814> can't<00:18:41.991> keep<00:18:42.231> doing<00:18:42.472> it<00:18:42.552> that<00:18:42.792> way.

00:18:43.498 --> 00:18:52.172
So<00:18:43.674> making<00:18:43.915> sure<00:18:44.139> that<00:18:44.235> there's<00:18:44.476> visibility<00:18:45.037> into<00:18:45.759> what<00:18:45.919> we're<00:18:46.063> changing,<00:18:46.945> why<00:18:47.121> we're<00:18:47.266> changing,<00:18:47.683> and<00:18:47.763> why<00:18:47.987> it's<00:18:48.099> important,<00:18:49.029> that<00:18:49.190> helps<00:18:49.526> balance<00:18:50.007> the<00:18:50.088> fact<00:18:50.408> that<00:18:50.504> so<00:18:50.729> that<00:18:50.873> we're<00:18:50.986> not<00:18:51.290> upsetting<00:18:51.691> the<00:18:51.771> culture.

00:18:52.733 --> 00:19:00.159
But<00:18:52.974> more<00:18:53.086> than<00:18:53.214> anything,<00:18:53.599> just<00:18:53.807> continuing<00:18:54.256> to<00:18:54.353> make<00:18:54.577> Cardus<00:18:54.914> a<00:18:55.058> great<00:18:55.299> place<00:18:55.603> to<00:18:55.699> work<00:18:56.020> because<00:18:56.421> the<00:18:56.710> people<00:18:57.143> here<00:18:57.528> have<00:18:58.025> been<00:18:58.250> here<00:18:58.410> a<00:18:58.490> long<00:18:58.731> time<00:18:59.293> and<00:18:59.533> love<00:18:59.694> what<00:18:59.790> they're<00:18:59.886> doing.

00:19:00.576 --> 00:19:02.887
Yeah,<00:19:01.057> yeah,<00:19:01.860> that's<00:19:02.197> super<00:19:02.598> interesting.

00:19:03.320 --> 00:19:07.716
And<00:19:04.186> do<00:19:04.218> you<00:19:04.347> find<00:19:04.748> like,<00:19:04.924> do<00:19:04.988> you<00:19:05.069> have<00:19:05.165> to<00:19:05.389> over-communicate<00:19:06.448> in<00:19:06.689> the<00:19:06.769> remote<00:19:07.170> environment?

00:19:07.796 --> 00:19:13.315
Like,<00:19:08.277> how<00:19:08.454> do<00:19:08.598> you<00:19:08.678> manage<00:19:09.096> it<00:19:09.256> versus<00:19:09.721> like,<00:19:10.684> you<00:19:10.764> know,<00:19:10.860> being<00:19:11.165> able<00:19:11.422> to<00:19:11.502> talk<00:19:11.807> to<00:19:11.887> that<00:19:12.048> person<00:19:12.369> around<00:19:12.545> the<00:19:12.690> water<00:19:13.010> cooler?

00:19:14.150 --> 00:19:16.604
So,<00:19:14.406> I'm<00:19:14.615> definitely<00:19:14.888> an<00:19:15.016> advocate<00:19:15.337> of<00:19:15.658> over-communication.

00:19:16.941 --> 00:19:29.570
And<00:19:17.102> it's<00:19:17.342> funny<00:19:17.519> though,<00:19:17.759> because<00:19:19.187> you<00:19:19.749> try<00:19:19.925> to<00:19:20.407> communicate<00:19:20.968> messages<00:19:21.450> through<00:19:21.610> different<00:19:21.851> channels,<00:19:22.412> Teams,<00:19:22.974> videos,<00:19:23.680> emails,<00:19:24.498> you<00:19:24.658> know,<00:19:24.739> live<00:19:25.044> all-hands,<00:19:26.247> And<00:19:27.210> then<00:19:27.323> you<00:19:27.387> get<00:19:27.547> the<00:19:27.627> feedback<00:19:28.189> that<00:19:28.671> it's<00:19:28.815> still<00:19:29.008> not<00:19:29.217> enough.

00:19:29.634 --> 00:19:33.342
And<00:19:29.778> then<00:19:29.875> you<00:19:29.955> get<00:19:30.099> other<00:19:30.276> people<00:19:30.517> communicating<00:19:31.159> like,<00:19:31.785> you<00:19:31.833> know,<00:19:31.945> you're<00:19:32.042> hitting<00:19:32.282> us<00:19:32.507> over<00:19:32.668> the<00:19:32.748> head<00:19:32.908> with<00:19:33.021> a<00:19:33.085> hammer.

00:19:33.406 --> 00:19:36.472
So<00:19:34.048> there's<00:19:34.513> no<00:19:34.770> hard<00:19:35.011> and<00:19:35.107> fast<00:19:35.573> way<00:19:35.733> to<00:19:35.894> do<00:19:36.054> it<00:19:36.199> right.

00:19:36.536 --> 00:19:43.004
But<00:19:36.777> just<00:19:37.017> in<00:19:37.178> general,<00:19:38.366> the<00:19:38.446> way<00:19:38.606> you<00:19:38.639> said<00:19:38.847> it,<00:19:38.944> Clint,<00:19:39.168> I'm<00:19:39.505> definitely<00:19:39.746> an<00:19:39.907> advocate<00:19:40.228> of<00:19:40.533> overcommunicating,<00:19:41.897> doing<00:19:42.090> it<00:19:42.154> through<00:19:42.314> different<00:19:42.555> channels.

00:19:43.197 --> 00:19:49.457
And<00:19:43.614> I<00:19:43.903> would<00:19:44.080> rather<00:19:44.385> somebody<00:19:44.786> hear<00:19:44.947> things<00:19:45.589> 2<00:19:45.685> or<00:19:45.846> 3<00:19:46.086> times<00:19:47.033> than<00:19:47.130> only<00:19:47.306> say<00:19:47.531> it<00:19:47.691> once<00:19:48.253> and<00:19:48.398> somebody<00:19:48.719> potentially<00:19:49.072> misses<00:19:49.377> it.

00:19:50.019 --> 00:19:56.905
What's<00:19:50.179> your<00:19:50.276> sense<00:19:50.661> for—<00:19:50.982> and<00:19:51.287> we're,<00:19:51.447> you<00:19:51.479> know,<00:19:51.688> we're<00:19:51.849> kind<00:19:52.025> of,<00:19:52.812> I<00:19:52.892> guess,<00:19:53.293> a<00:19:53.695> fourth<00:19:53.967> of<00:19:54.032> the<00:19:54.176> way<00:19:54.577> into<00:19:54.898> 2025<00:19:56.455> at<00:19:56.520> this<00:19:56.680> point.

00:19:57.724 --> 00:20:03.712
But<00:19:57.884> how<00:19:58.045> are<00:19:58.205> you<00:19:58.366> thinking<00:19:58.767> about<00:19:59.249> the<00:19:59.393> economic<00:19:59.875> outlook<00:20:00.196> of<00:20:00.276> 2025,<00:20:01.015> particularly<00:20:01.481> versus<00:20:01.641> 2024,<00:20:02.604> which<00:20:02.765> had<00:20:02.877> so<00:20:03.006> much<00:20:03.199> uncertainty?

00:20:03.921 --> 00:20:09.043
It<00:20:04.451> does<00:20:04.627> seem<00:20:04.724> like<00:20:04.868> there's<00:20:05.029> a<00:20:05.093> little<00:20:05.189> bit<00:20:05.350> more<00:20:05.527> certainty<00:20:06.072> here<00:20:06.394> in<00:20:06.474> 2025,<00:20:07.357> although<00:20:07.582> we'll<00:20:07.694> see<00:20:07.919> what<00:20:08.144> the<00:20:08.240> tariffs<00:20:08.706> add<00:20:08.802> to<00:20:08.882> that.

00:20:09.540 --> 00:20:13.057
So<00:20:09.685> what<00:20:09.797> do<00:20:09.926> you,<00:20:10.263> how<00:20:10.327> are<00:20:10.552> you<00:20:10.729> thinking<00:20:11.066> about<00:20:11.612> the<00:20:11.756> economic<00:20:12.238> outlook<00:20:12.511> of<00:20:12.655> this<00:20:12.880> year?

00:20:13.779 --> 00:20:16.846
I'd<00:20:13.924> actually<00:20:14.245> say<00:20:14.486> that<00:20:14.646> there's<00:20:14.887> still<00:20:15.064> as<00:20:15.224> much<00:20:15.465> uncertainty<00:20:15.947> this<00:20:16.171> year<00:20:16.236> as<00:20:16.428> last<00:20:16.749> year.

00:20:16.910 --> 00:20:19.366
So<00:20:17.151> last<00:20:17.488> year<00:20:18.194> it<00:20:18.275> was<00:20:18.435> the<00:20:18.676> threat<00:20:18.853> of<00:20:18.917> recession.

00:20:19.447 --> 00:20:20.635
It<00:20:19.479> was<00:20:19.704> rising<00:20:20.105> interest<00:20:20.426> rates.

00:20:20.747 --> 00:20:32.925
It<00:20:20.828> was<00:20:20.988> Wall<00:20:21.100> Street<00:20:21.550> rewarding<00:20:21.951> companies<00:20:22.674> for<00:20:23.316> cuts<00:20:23.654> and,<00:20:24.039> you<00:20:24.682> know,<00:20:25.325> Mark<00:20:25.502> Zuckerberg's<00:20:26.064> Meta's<00:20:26.546> year<00:20:26.707> of<00:20:26.803> efficiency<00:20:27.976> that<00:20:28.153> was<00:20:28.555> causing<00:20:28.940> a<00:20:28.956> lot<00:20:29.181> of<00:20:29.278> companies<00:20:29.744> to<00:20:29.840> be<00:20:30.001> cautious,<00:20:30.724> to<00:20:31.045> retrench,<00:20:31.672> to<00:20:31.768> focus<00:20:32.154> on<00:20:32.250> cutting<00:20:32.492> costs.

00:20:33.536 --> 00:20:45.604
Now<00:20:33.777> going<00:20:33.954> into<00:20:34.163> 2025,<00:20:35.046> there<00:20:35.127> was<00:20:35.287> the<00:20:35.384> initial<00:20:35.786> optimism<00:20:36.428> with<00:20:36.734> the<00:20:37.232> Trump<00:20:37.457> administration<00:20:38.116> being<00:20:38.276> elected,<00:20:38.758> thinking<00:20:39.064> that<00:20:39.160> that<00:20:39.401> was<00:20:39.642> going<00:20:39.739> to<00:20:39.803> create<00:20:40.108> a<00:20:40.205> lot<00:20:40.381> of<00:20:40.767> opportunities,<00:20:41.795> take<00:20:41.988> away<00:20:42.149> some<00:20:42.390> of<00:20:42.454> the<00:20:42.776> perhaps<00:20:43.081> the<00:20:43.177> barriers<00:20:43.643> that<00:20:43.804> the<00:20:44.447> Biden<00:20:44.656> administration<00:20:45.250> had<00:20:45.347> put<00:20:45.571> up.

00:20:45.668 --> 00:20:53.176
But<00:20:45.893> as<00:20:46.054> you<00:20:46.134> just<00:20:46.327> said,<00:20:47.355> uncertainty<00:20:47.693> around<00:20:47.998> tariffs<00:20:48.560> and<00:20:49.106> uncertainty<00:20:49.603> around,<00:20:50.388> um,<00:20:51.045> call<00:20:51.173> it<00:20:51.269> the<00:20:51.429> global,<00:20:51.926> you<00:20:52.022> know,<00:20:52.487> war<00:20:52.647> in<00:20:52.791> Ukraine.

00:20:53.272 --> 00:21:02.789
And,<00:20:53.448> and<00:20:53.688> so<00:20:53.929> how,<00:20:54.105> how<00:20:54.313> we're<00:20:54.409> engaging<00:20:54.810> with<00:20:54.954> different<00:20:55.195> countries<00:20:55.611> and<00:20:55.691> leaders,<00:20:56.476> what<00:20:56.653> we're<00:20:56.749> seeing<00:20:57.293> especially<00:20:57.790> across<00:20:58.175> certain<00:20:58.479> industries,<00:20:58.976> you<00:20:59.056> know,<00:20:59.120> you<00:20:59.216> think<00:20:59.441> government,<00:20:59.841> you<00:20:59.937> think<00:21:00.097> defense,<00:21:00.802> um,<00:21:01.379> that<00:21:01.684> same<00:21:02.261> retrenching.

00:21:02.966 --> 00:21:06.394
And,<00:21:03.206> and<00:21:03.302> it's<00:21:04.023> more<00:21:04.167> than<00:21:04.327> anything,<00:21:05.289> it's<00:21:05.545> the<00:21:05.769> uncertainty.

00:21:06.987 --> 00:21:11.057
So,<00:21:07.468> you<00:21:07.500> know,<00:21:07.708> as<00:21:07.852> we've<00:21:08.013> even<00:21:08.189> seen<00:21:08.429> in<00:21:08.493> the<00:21:08.573> last<00:21:08.814> couple<00:21:09.006> days<00:21:09.311> with,<00:21:09.631> with<00:21:09.791> tariffs,<00:21:10.272> they're<00:21:10.496> on,<00:21:10.672> they're<00:21:10.897> off.

00:21:11.217 --> 00:21:12.932
Well,<00:21:11.329> maybe<00:21:11.618> we're<00:21:11.714> going<00:21:11.810> to<00:21:11.874> have<00:21:12.034> a<00:21:12.114> deal<00:21:12.355> and<00:21:12.435> they'll<00:21:12.595> be<00:21:12.739> off.

00:21:13.076 --> 00:21:20.325
And<00:21:13.797> so<00:21:14.037> it's,<00:21:14.358> it's<00:21:14.518> the<00:21:14.662> fact<00:21:14.934> that<00:21:15.079> there's<00:21:15.399> no<00:21:15.720> definitive<00:21:16.585> path<00:21:17.050> forward<00:21:17.804> and<00:21:18.029> things<00:21:18.222> seem<00:21:18.446> to<00:21:18.607> be<00:21:19.073> oscillating<00:21:19.651> back<00:21:19.908> and<00:21:19.988> forth.

00:21:20.775 --> 00:21:24.789
That's<00:21:21.015> what's<00:21:21.256> making<00:21:21.577> it<00:21:21.642> hard<00:21:21.899> for<00:21:22.123> anybody<00:21:22.461> to<00:21:22.541> feel<00:21:22.766> comfortable<00:21:23.344> making<00:21:23.745> firm<00:21:24.211> decisions.

00:21:24.933 --> 00:21:42.210
I<00:21:25.030> think<00:21:25.190> there's<00:21:25.463> still<00:21:25.736> general<00:21:26.539> optimism<00:21:27.759> that<00:21:28.482> the<00:21:28.578> administration<00:21:29.285> is<00:21:29.445> going<00:21:29.525> to<00:21:29.606> be<00:21:29.927> business<00:21:30.312> friendly,<00:21:31.436> but<00:21:32.657> I<00:21:32.721> think<00:21:32.897> there<00:21:32.994> needs<00:21:33.219> to<00:21:33.315> be<00:21:33.443> a<00:21:33.524> little<00:21:33.700> more<00:21:33.845> stability<00:21:34.503> before<00:21:34.904> companies<00:21:35.466> will<00:21:35.611> feel<00:21:35.868> comfortable<00:21:36.590> that<00:21:37.634> whatever<00:21:37.971> they're<00:21:38.180> experiencing<00:21:39.400> will<00:21:39.561> stick<00:21:40.348> versus<00:21:40.845> now<00:21:41.022> it's<00:21:41.150> going<00:21:41.215> to<00:21:41.247> be<00:21:41.391> different<00:21:41.648> a<00:21:41.712> week<00:21:41.953> later.

00:21:43.003 --> 00:21:49.490
Finally,<00:21:43.327> we<00:21:43.490> end<00:21:43.635> every<00:21:43.798> interview<00:21:44.122> with<00:21:44.219> the<00:21:44.300> same<00:21:44.527> question,<00:21:45.176> and<00:21:45.273> that<00:21:45.500> is<00:21:45.614> at<00:21:45.695> CEO.com,<00:21:46.327> we<00:21:46.490> believe<00:21:46.717> the<00:21:46.798> chances<00:21:47.138> one<00:21:47.365> gives<00:21:47.722> is<00:21:47.852> just<00:21:48.030> as<00:21:48.095> important<00:21:48.355> as<00:21:48.436> the<00:21:48.517> chances<00:21:48.922> one<00:21:49.084> takes.

00:21:50.020 --> 00:21:53.055
When<00:21:50.214> you<00:21:50.458> hear<00:21:50.701> that,<00:21:51.091> who<00:21:51.188> gave<00:21:51.432> you<00:21:51.578> a<00:21:51.594> chance<00:21:51.919> to<00:21:52.065> get<00:21:52.227> you<00:21:52.325> to<00:21:52.406> where<00:21:52.633> you<00:21:52.730> are<00:21:52.828> today?

00:21:53.850 --> 00:21:55.181
So<00:21:54.013> I<00:21:54.256> actually<00:21:54.516> mentioned<00:21:54.776> him<00:21:54.922> earlier.

00:21:55.246 --> 00:21:56.886
I<00:21:55.328> mean,<00:21:55.636> I<00:21:55.798> would<00:21:55.961> say<00:21:56.220> Andy<00:21:56.383> Bodea.

00:21:57.400 --> 00:22:05.113
I<00:21:57.416> was,<00:21:57.673> I<00:21:57.738> was<00:21:57.915> an<00:21:58.156> individual<00:21:58.639> contributor<00:21:59.429> on<00:21:59.590> his<00:21:59.831> team<00:22:00.250> at<00:22:00.411> Equifax<00:22:02.826> when<00:22:03.213> my<00:22:03.406> manager<00:22:04.115> moved<00:22:04.372> into<00:22:04.662> a<00:22:04.678> new<00:22:04.936> role.

00:22:05.661 --> 00:22:09.116
I<00:22:05.789> think<00:22:05.950> he<00:22:06.047> really<00:22:06.273> did<00:22:06.434> take<00:22:06.627> a<00:22:06.740> chance<00:22:07.402> in<00:22:07.677> selecting<00:22:08.227> me<00:22:08.469> to<00:22:08.615> be<00:22:08.712> his<00:22:08.874> backfill.

00:22:09.197 --> 00:22:15.333
And<00:22:09.294> so<00:22:09.536> the<00:22:09.617> specific<00:22:10.086> role<00:22:10.329> was<00:22:10.490> leading—<00:22:11.056> we<00:22:11.202> called<00:22:11.379> it<00:22:11.476> Enterprise<00:22:11.864> Growth<00:22:12.107> Initiatives,<00:22:12.349> but<00:22:12.430> it<00:22:12.463> was<00:22:12.511> the<00:22:13.632> program<00:22:14.033> management<00:22:14.578> arm<00:22:14.691> of<00:22:14.835> Equifax.

00:22:15.397 --> 00:22:18.863
We<00:22:15.445> were<00:22:15.493> responsible<00:22:16.103> on<00:22:16.344> executing<00:22:16.986> on<00:22:17.146> the<00:22:17.243> strategic<00:22:17.804> plan<00:22:18.109> and<00:22:18.205> growth<00:22:18.510> playbook.

00:22:19.714 --> 00:22:25.508
And,<00:22:20.276> um,<00:22:20.533> this<00:22:21.094> made<00:22:21.335> me<00:22:21.479> a<00:22:21.656> direct<00:22:21.977> report<00:22:22.458> to<00:22:22.555> the<00:22:22.683> chief<00:22:23.004> operating<00:22:23.405> officer,<00:22:23.646> you<00:22:23.742> know,<00:22:23.983> brought<00:22:24.208> a<00:22:24.304> lot<00:22:24.480> of<00:22:24.609> visibility<00:22:25.106> with<00:22:25.411> it.

00:22:26.053 --> 00:22:30.033
And<00:22:26.150> so<00:22:26.294> I<00:22:26.454> think<00:22:26.631> he<00:22:26.775> went<00:22:26.936> out<00:22:27.096> on<00:22:27.417> a<00:22:27.514> limb<00:22:27.690> a<00:22:27.738> little<00:22:27.995> bit<00:22:28.380> in<00:22:28.477> that<00:22:28.701> I'd<00:22:28.862> only<00:22:28.958> been<00:22:29.086> with<00:22:29.199> the<00:22:29.279> company<00:22:29.600> for<00:22:29.760> a<00:22:29.905> year.

00:22:30.467 --> 00:22:40.721
Um,<00:22:30.884> he<00:22:31.028> saw<00:22:31.205> potential<00:22:31.686> in<00:22:31.767> me<00:22:32.152> and<00:22:32.248> gave<00:22:32.473> me<00:22:32.569> that<00:22:32.794> chance,<00:22:33.371> and<00:22:33.933> that<00:22:34.238> really<00:22:35.458> skyrocketed<00:22:36.661> everything<00:22:36.982> I've<00:22:37.384> done<00:22:37.560> since<00:22:37.865> then<00:22:38.106> because<00:22:38.346> of<00:22:38.427> the<00:22:38.507> visibility,<00:22:39.149> because<00:22:39.454> of<00:22:39.630> the<00:22:40.096> opportunities.

00:22:40.977 --> 00:22:51.092
And<00:22:41.250> again,<00:22:41.635> because<00:22:41.891> of<00:22:42.099> his<00:22:42.420> direct<00:22:42.917> involvement<00:22:44.039> in<00:22:44.135> my<00:22:44.360> career<00:22:45.145> with<00:22:45.257> his<00:22:45.402> mentorship,<00:22:45.802> I<00:22:45.883> mean,<00:22:46.027> he's<00:22:46.139> still,<00:22:46.363> still<00:22:46.668> somebody<00:22:47.005> that<00:22:47.149> I<00:22:47.229> reach<00:22:47.470> out<00:22:47.646> and<00:22:48.111> talk<00:22:48.303> to<00:22:48.528> today,<00:22:48.928> and<00:22:49.089> I'm<00:22:49.409> really<00:22:49.714> grateful<00:22:50.066> for<00:22:50.195> that<00:22:50.291> continued<00:22:50.692> support.

00:22:51.814 --> 00:22:54.523
Matt,<00:22:52.118> thank<00:22:52.295> you<00:22:52.375> so<00:22:52.599> much<00:22:53.673> for<00:22:53.882> coming<00:22:54.122> on<00:22:54.154> the<00:22:54.234> show.
